Bollywood lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar was just called to attend Faiz Festival in Lahore. He ended up giving anti-Pakistan statements at the festival where he was applauded by the participants. Later that night he was hosted by none other than the rock star of the country Ali Zafar at his residence and many other Pakistani artists and invitees ended up sitting at his knees and crying while Ali himself performed songs in the same way for his guest of honour.

Naeem Abbas Rufi is a classical Pakistani singer who rose to fame after signing popular Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan songs in concerts. He does concerts across the world and sings live for long hours. Talking about Pakistani singers who consume drugs for improving voice, he said, “some singers use to consume drugs (hash) for improving voice but it’s their misconception that it helps improve the throat, those singers are following a few big singers (from past) who used to have hash, but those big singers had a proper diet regime. It’s not like they used drugs without a solid diet. Also, the hash isn’t good as it dries up the throat. The other thing that singers use is good for throat and voice, it’s okay for the singers to drink water (alcohol), it helps in improving voice. Feroze Khan got divorced recently and he has been in a lot of legal trouble since. It all started with his custody battle with ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan. During the trial information about alleged domestic during their marriage got leaked. This was picked up by social media and many artists also reacted to it calling out Feroze.

He was however, given full protocol, applauded on anti-Pakistan statements and later a party was organized in his respect where we saw Pakistani artists sitting at his knees.
Initially the backlash started about Pakistani artists not caring about their self-respect sitting at Javed Akhtar’s knees by the public but then a statement of Javed Akhtar regarding 26/11 Mumbai attacks was highlighted by The Print and then a video started circulating by Daily Qudrat where Javed Akhtar said that terrorists are freely roaming around in Pakistan and the whole hall was heard clapping on it while later that party was held.

To the question, “which of these actors dances well, Goher Rasheed, Osman Khalid Butt or Mohsin Abbas Haider?” He replied, ‘who are they (Kon Hain Yeh)?. Firstly, he didn’t recognize them and asked about them from host, he then replied, “none of them know how to dance well” . On his straight reply, the host and others hooted as well and Fahad Mustafa said it’s direct reply.

Muneeb Butt has finally taken to his Instagram to share update about the incident. The actor said that it was actually an explosion caused by accumulation of gas in the sewage lines under his house. He added that wife Aiman Khan has been injured a bit due to shattering of glass and a lady who helps them with house work also got some burn injuries. Muneeb said that they are both getting medical treatment and both are fine.
