Maria B and her husband were criticized for their irresponsible behaviours towards their cook who was tested positive for COVID-19. People started bashing the couple on social media but it seems like the situation has taken a huge shift.

The cook of Maria B was admitted to nearby Vehari DHQ Hospital on March 22. He was admitted after his test for coronavirus from a private lab in Lahore came out positive.

When the cook was returning to his hometown he was shifted to a nearby hospital where his test was conducted again. The results of the test came out negative.

According to Dr Faazil, the patient did not show any symptoms of the virus and he will be discharged in the next 24 hours.

Mazaaqraat is on air after the newly recorded shows with out Mohsin Abbas Haider and Qaiser Pia, both were integral part of the show. Qaiser Pia is absent from show because he was off to Saudia Arab to perform Hajj but Mohsin was fired from Duniya TV, after the controversy, the first show of eid was aired and people didn’t like the show without Mohsin Abbass Haider and Qaiser Pia, the new guy is failing to grab attention or maybe people are so attached with Mohsin Abbas Haider, that they are not accepting him at all, it seems that comedians are hardly bringing laughter because the show’s routine has been disturbed by two of main people.

The way Mohsin used to narrate the poems were sarcastically perfect, the new presenter is too normal or expression less. Maria B has shared her views that she supports the rights of intersex people but she cannot stand for the promotion of LGBTQ agenda in an Islamic country.

Joyland has been accused of promoting LGBTQ agenda in Pakistan and the film was banned in whole Pakistan and was later unbanned everywhere except Punjab. The film won big at Cannes Film Festival and it was also shortlisted for the Oscars but did not make it to the final nominations.

Recently, a poster of Joyland was seen in the background of a scene where Sajal Aly was standing in the front in the drama Kuch Ankahi and Maria B called this out as a subtle promotion of the LGBTQ agenda. She said that she will keep fighting for the intersex people but will not let transgender agenda take away from the real intersex people and their plight.

Faysal Quraishi while reviewing the show called Maria B out on her outrage and said that what does she want that we put Pathaan posters in the drama? He said that it is a Pakistani film and there is nothing wrong with promoting it.

Drama serial Jalan is coming back on our screens as the Sindh High Court has uplifted the ban and allowed the drama to air. The next episodes will be aired as per schedule only on ARY Digital.

Earlier, PEMRA banned Jalan after receiving numerous complaints from people. Many people complained about the content of the drama which goes against our social and moral values.
