Ahmed Ali Akbar
Ahmed Ali Akbar’s acting style is such that he completely transforms himself to fit the character he is playing. He has the most expressive eyes and a natural acting style. Many people probably wouldn’t know that Ahmed’s father is one of the top tennis coaches in the country. Ahmed himself has played tennis on a national level and he has even played club cricket. Therefore he has many talents apart from acting! No wonder he is not seen in dramas too often.
Ahmed recently was seen in drama serial Ehd-e-Wafa and among all the male leads his acting was loved the most by the viewers. His on-screen chemistry with Yumna Zaidi in the drama Yeh Raha Dil was especially loved by the viewers. He also received international recognition and award because of his performance in the film Laal Kabooter. It seems that Ahmed Ali Akbar enjoys working in projects which offer something different that is why he is not seen in dramas often. Also, he is working on his upcoming film. Asif Raza Mir
Asif Raza Mir is one of the most graceful actors of Pakistan. He is also one of those few actors his age who always try to do roles that offer variety. He played a negative role in Muqabil just to show that he can do all kinds of roles with perfection. He has done comic and serious roles in his vast career. Since Asif Raza Mir is based in Canada therefore he is not seen in Pakistani dramas too often. His father was also an actor, director, and producer. He has always felt pride that his family has contributed so much to the entertainment industry.
Although he keeps on taking up different roles in dramas, he is not seen on screen often enough. It would be great to see him in dramas more often. It would be even more delightful if Asif Raza Mir and Ahad are seen together in a drama.

Farhan Saeed is a singer and an actor. He has done only a handful of dramas yet every drama he has been a part of has been popular. Farhan Saeed proved he can do comedy just as well as serious roles when he acted in Suno Chanda. That show won him more recognition than any other drama he has acted in.

Zara Noor Abbas

Fakhar-e-Alam has been through the difficult process of divorce not once but twice. He is the kind of celebrity who does not talk about his personal life too often. In one of the shows, when he was asked about his divorces, he was really upfront about it and he said that it was all in the hands of Allah. He even reminded Nadia Khan that she had also gone through a divorce therefore she should understand more than anyone else that there is no specific reason for it.

Sanam Saeed
Sanam Saeed got married to her childhood friend and her marriage made headlines. She talked openly and honestly about her divorce on Samina Peerzada’s talk show. Shamoon Abbasi got divorced thrice. He got married to Javeria Abbasi and his second marriage was with Humaima Malick. The first two times in his opinion he needed a non-celebrity wife since the celebrity wives do not have the time or commitment needed to keep a marriage intact. In one of his interviews, he also called Humaima Malick irresponsible and his first wife confused. He got married the third time to Javeria Randhawa who was not a celebrity yet even that marriage did not last.
Ever since his third marriage ended in a divorce, Shamoon does not talk about marriages in interviews. He has however talked about in full detail about his first two marriages in different interviews. He also shared that because he goes out of his way for the people he loves, he expects the same in return but usually he does not get what he expects.
Salma Hassan
The news of Salma Hassan and Azfar Ali’s divorce was shocking for everyone since the viewers had watched them on-screen so many times together. What made this tragic news even more shocking was that Azfar got married to Naveen Waqar, a fellow celebrity soon after divorcing his wife. For the longest time, Salma decided not to talk about her divorce but after going through therapy and getting over the hurt, she talked about her divorce in different interviews. Nouman Javaid
Nouman Javaid also went through not one but two difficult divorces. He was married to singer Fariha Pervaiz but their marriage ended in the worst manner possible. Nouman tried to commit suicide because he could not cope with the loss. After a few months, he married actress Jana Malik but that marriage only lasted a few months. When asked during an interview which marriage did he want to salvage more desperately, he replied that he would have done anything to salvage his marriage with Jana Malik since he loved her so much.
It seems like Nouman felt that both his wives did not contribute to the marriage as much as a partner should. He however also said that it is wrong to blame anyone since all such decisions at the end of the day were dependent on your fate and Allah’s will.
Nadia Khan
Nadia Khan usually does not talk about her divorce in talk shows but when Farah put forward that question, she gave a reply which gave an insight into her own feelings about her experience. Nadia thinks that it is not alright to put up with anything that is unfair just to keep the relationship intact. She also shared that she got a divorce only after giving her marriage a fair chance for more than 10 years.
In another video, Nadia Khan implied that her husband was having an affair with one of her friends. She did not say that directly but the advice she gave married girls suggested this was something she experienced herself.
Sanam Baloch
Sanam Baloch has never openly talked about what caused her divorce but she in a way told her viewers why her marriage with Abdullah Farhatullah did not work out. Everything that Sanam said suggested that Abdullah wasn’t as honest in their relationship as she had expected him to be. But at the same time she said that if he ever needed her, despite the divorce, she will be there for him. Similarly, she said that she knew that if she ever needed Abdullah, he will be by her side.
Shahroz Sabzwari
Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Yusef’s divorce came as a shock to their fans. While Syra Yusef silently sat back and decided not to talk about the divorce. Ohkay so, this episode of Prem Gali probably had nothing to offer. The only good thing that happened was Luqman finally finding out the truth & learning that he had misunderstood Joya & her feelings right from the beginning. However, it was also quite frustrating because this was the 24th episode & to see this misunderstanding prolong for so many weeks was anything but funny. Throughout this drama, Faiza Iftikhar has actually imparted some perspective-altering messages however the way Hamza & Joya were unconsciously being guilt-tripped into believing that they were doing something wrong looking for their freedom wasn’t right at all.
Clan of Obsessives
Over the weeks it has been established that the personality trait Hamza & Joya’s family members share is being obsessive. They all are obsessed with one thing or the other & it is actually painful to see them taking their obsession to another level. I am really glad that Rahat has taken a backseat for a few weeks because she was quite the front runner in the race. Shireen has become another unreasonably obsessed character who fails to understand that there could be another side of the picture too. The way she is barging into Mazoor’s office every other day trying to fight him is not amusing either. So far everything Manzoor has said makes sense & I liked that he forced her to think about the reasons her daughter was drifting away. However, I will say that all the hype & excitement there was regarding Manzoor & Javed Sheikh’s presence has fizzled out pretty quickly. He definitely has been wasted in this space & it seems any other actor could’ve played this role because the director failed to give Manzoor’s character & Javed Sheikh the treatment they deserved. In every other episode, he barely has a few dialogues & that all there’s to it.
Luqman finally found out that he was wrong about Joya & that she was never really involved with someone else. He also figured that the picture she had was given to her by Haseena, which obviously makes no sense because Haseena & Joya never really shared that kind of relationship, to begin with, but then it was a lame attempt of clearing the air. Obviously, they couldn’t really unfold the truth any other way so this is what happened. Now it seems Luqman will take the rest of the episodes to overcome his guilt. The scenes of Luqman & Musarrat weren’t shot on Prem Gali’s location & that was an actual terrace of a building, which immediately changed the entire scenario & didn’t match with the vibe of the drama. These issues have persisted throughout the drama & it really has shown the poor execution Prem Gali has gotten.
Hamza & Joya are pretty much set to leave this zoo but every step of the way, they were being reminded of how important the family was & should be. I have actually agreed with the rest of the messages that the writer has given in this drama & even now she is reinforcing the value the family members hold but this should be a point of consideration if people around are sane & normal. In this case, Joya & Hamza are surrounded by people who are overly obsessed with them, to the point of ruining their lives. Be it Hatim or Hamza’s grandfather, be it Luqman or Shireen & Rahat – they all do not understand that Hamza & Joya need space, they should be treated as adults & most importantly they should be given privacy, therefore Hamza & Joya have all the right to move out without their family members creating a drama!
Background Noise
This episode of Prem Gali was boring, to say the least. It is unfortunate that the drama viewers had so many expectations from has turned out to be suitable as background noise because it fails to keep your interest. Also, Prem Gali is the sort of drama that should have 20 episodes at max with the story progressing quickly but the dragging & repetition have absolutely taken away all the charm it once had.
