Mahnoor Baloch, no doubts, is one of the leading celebrities of Pakistan and just after appearing on Pakistani screen after a few years again, the lady is now seen in some major projects where her acting skills are been portrayed on a finer platform. We did share the news few months back when Torn was officially announced and the cast was shared. The movie is produced by Michael Richter, Jeremiah Birnbaum, James Burke, Shoieb Yunus, and Jawad Qureshi, while been directed by  Jeremiah Birnbaum. What makes this project really special for all the Pakistanis is its cast where we get to see Mahnoor Baloch and Faran  Tahir (Brother of Ali Tahir) in main leads. Cast of the movie includes , Dendrie Taylor, Sharon Washington and John Heard other than the said two Pakistani artists.

‘Torn’ basically revolves around an incident that changes the lives of two families completely. It is a story of the sufferings of two mothers who lost their sons in an incident after which the world becomes a new place for them. The series of tragedies that their lives encounter, helps them finding an unwanted friendship.

All in all, the projects seems pretty nice and it is more than a pleasure to see our celebrities doing a great job not only within the country but for something like Hollywood. The movie will soon release worldwide in 2013.

The latest pictures of Mahnoor Baloch got us wondering how a grandmother of one can possibly look so young and fresh. No, she is not a vampire ;) and in a recent interview with Dawn Images, she shared a few beauty and fitness tips.

“Always cleanse and moisturise before going to bed. Also, sunblock is a must.”

“Drinking plenty of water, having health supplements, and working out at least 30 mins a day, 5 days a week.”

Some of the supplements she takes are Ester-C, alpha-lipoic acid, ashwagandha, magnesium and salmon oil.

Mahnoor Baloch revealed that she follows a strict diet. “I’ve cut out sugar, wheat, and processed foods from my diet.” 

According to the evergreen beauty, it’s okay to eat sugar once in three months.

Her breakfast includes a vegetable omelette, coupled with yogurt and a brown rice roti, followed by a lunch consisting of chicken, veggies with brown rice roti or brown rice. She recommends using coconut oil in food and quinoa.

Mahnoor Baloch is a gorgeous and talented Pakistani television and film actor who has been working in the media industry for many years. Talking about it, Mahnoor Baloch said, “Being honest, unfortunately, our industry is still evolving, it is very unfortunate that a certain type of roles have been designed and fixed for women, they will be casted in the same roles, there is an age limitation for such roles as well. If you see international media industries, there are different genres, they tell stories about different age groups, they show different phases of lives, their actors portray characters as per their age group for example Nicol Kidman is still working, they write special roles for their actors. In our industry, they only show love stories and the hero is not turning old even at the age of 55, it might look good to them but when you see from normal people’s perspective, it doesn’t work anymore because people are evolving and they can’t accept such things”

Actress Alyssa Milano started the #MeToo campaign and urged people to be a part of it and share their personal experiences of sexual harassment in order to show that the problem isn’t limited to one country or gender it is everyone’s problem and it is everywhere. Mahira Khan is frequently seen on screen lately for promotions. Yesterday the influential thirty four old single mother and the female lead of Shoaib Mansoor’s Verna spoke to BBC World News about her movie, herself being the topic of debate and the very touchy subject of sexual harassment of young aspiring girls.

On the subject of sexual harassment cases in Hollywood, Mahira said that she herself has never experienced any such attitude towards herself. Part of the reason could be that she has only worked with a handful of people and part because she was not inexperienced. The dive further elaborated that she was a mother when she came into this field so she was not naive like a lot of other teenagers and young girls. Mahira Khan also implied that no matter how a girl conducts herself and how she speaks or sits or walks, it does not give be anyone any right to abuse her. Sexual harassment has nothing to do with the conduct of the harassed woman. That was a very sound statement from the beautiful actress.
