Ahmed Godil who became viral on the internet after hosting Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020. Due to his hosting style, he was bullied and demeaned on social media.

Well, the famous PSL host in an interview talked about how he was not allowed to play any song of Ali Zafar due to harassment case on him.

Godil shared, “See what happened with Ali Zafar, feminism on one side, #MeToo movement on one side but he is not proven guilty. I have also heard that Meesha Shafi also lost the case but in PSL I am not allowed to play any song of Ali Zafar.”

The Famous comedian and stage actor Nadeem Baral passed away at the age of 74. He played the famous roles of Majidi, Sidhu Paji and Inspector Qureshi on the famous program Khabarnak which aired on Geo News.

Nadeem Baral was working with theatre for more than 30 years. He was a student of comedian Babu Baral and learned the art of comedy from him.

The ace comedian was famous for his role as ‘Wadey Khan Sahib’. He has been spreading happiness among people for the past thirty years.

Nadeem Baral has left behind five children and a widow. His funeral prayer will be held in Lahore.

Famous director Haseeb Hasan is known for directing plays such as Diyar-e-Dil and Mann Mayal is coming up with another project. His another film is made by collaborating with Umera Ahmed’s writing and Haseeb Hasan’s direction.

Ali Azmat, after expressing his hurt and anger at the organizers of the PSL V opening ceremony, also made a claim about all the hate and trolling that their latest version of the PSL anthem had received. In a show hosted by Waseem Badami, Ali Azmat stated that the hate had been orchestrated by a ‘rival’ singer who had previously sung the PSL song.

Although he didn’t actually take any names, Ali Azmat did throw shade at fellow singer Ali Zafar and how, if he said something, Zafar could file a defamation suit against him.

Taking to his social media, Ali Zafar, however, didn’t file a lawsuit but gave a befitting and very hilarious reply to Ali Azmat.

Seems like the opening ceremony of PSL V was not only a let down in terms of energy, it also angered the performing artists, especially the singers lined up to perform the anthem Tayyar Hain. According to Ali Azmat, who was seen visibly angry, after his performance was made short and that of Asim Azhar and Haroon simply cut, a 60 second clip was played instead of the 3.5 minutes track they had been rehearsing on for two days.

Eyewitnesses of the incident confirmed that the two (Ali Azmat and Haroon) subsequently expressed their frustrations backstage. Azmat went ahead and aggressively derided certain members of the management team in front of the public.

Later on, talking to Wasim Badami on his show, Ali Azmat shared the details of the entire event, stating that everything that transpired on stage was definitely a surprise for them as well.

“They should let us know that a short version is being played. It felt like that someone had played the wrong file on the PC and we were left standing with no idea what was happening. We rehearsed for two days.  They played a 60-second file for a song that is three and a half minutes long,” Azmat said.

But the most interesting claim that Ali Azmat made was that how the trolling for PSL V anthem was orchestrated by a rival singer who had previously sung the PSL anthem.

On Wasim Badami’s question whether he was talking about Ali Zafar, Ali Azmat said, “No. I’m not talking about Ali Zafar. But whoever it was, even PCB knows.”

When Badami insisted, showing Azmat tweets from Ali Zafar, stating how people ought to appreciate the other PSL anthems that weren’t sung by him, Ali Azmat responded by saying, “May Allah keep him happy.”

Adding further, after Wasim Badami asked Azmat to speak clearly, Ali Azmat stated that he wouldn’t so because, “He will file a defamation suit against him as well.”

After the Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan starrer drama Meray Paas Tum Ho had its last episode screened in cinemas across Pakistan, it seems, we have another one ready to follow its steps. This time, speculations are being done about screening the last episode of the much loved drama Ehd E Wafa in cinemas across the country.

According to Saife Hassan, Ehd E Wafa’s director, “The shooting of the drama is complete and there will be no more than 26 episodes. Also the finale might be screened in cinemas. However, a final decision will be made once Momina Duraid, the producer, returns from her trip abroad.”

Ehd E Wafa, has managed to develop a very loyal fan base since it first aired. The story of the drama revolves around four friends who meet at Cadet College in Murree and then break apart because of differences.

Now, nearing its climax, the four friends have made a successful place for themselves in their lives. Shahzain (Osman Khalid Butt) is an established politician, Shariq (Wahaj Ali) is a successful journalist, Shehryar (Ahmed Ali Akbar) an assistant commissioner and Saad (Ahad Raza Mir) an army officer.
