Talking about his son, Emmad said, “Yes, his death did affect my work. And I will just say don’t cry because it’s worse, smile because it just happened. He was an angel sent from the heavens. He came for a specific time, he wanted to tell me to make something out of yourself, before that I was off track, I think he taught me a lot of things towards life before that I was snowboarding through life, after becoming father, I realized why I exist and I think that this is the power of true unconditional love that you become better, you work on yourself, you realize that there are the people who depend on you. I think I am not the same person anymore, my perspective towards life has changed after his death. It is a big setback and this wound will never heal but I found out that the work is therapeutic and one can move on in life through his work. Work and time have a healing power”. Talking about it, he said, “I believe love means to respect each other and just be kind to the person whom you come across. It should not always be physical; just wishing someone well can be love. In my limited knowledge, intense love or obsession is when you can’t live without someone”

Emmad Irfani was the audience favourite this whole last year as he played the arrogant yet suave Adeel in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. He was a character who everybody loves despite his negative deeds. The actor really brought the character to life and he has received so much love from everyone. His co-star Naeema Butt recently spoke about not getting fair treatment from the drama’s co-actors and revealed they were insecure. She said that her Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum co-stars kept showing like they were her friends on social media but they were non-supportive off-screen and tried to push her off the stage. She, however, praised Emmad for being a great sport.

Emmad Irfani recently appeared in Iffat Omar’s YouTube show, Say It All With Iffat Omar. In the show, he talked about his increased female following after the success of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.

Talking about his female fan following, Emmad Irfani said, “I try to keep a balance, as I think it’s very important to keep a balance. You shouldn’t let success get to your head; it’s all because of your work, so staying focused on your work should be the first priority. Whatever appreciation you receive, whether from girls or Gen Z or other fans, makes you feel good”. He further added that actors and entertainers deserve appreciation, and he feels grateful when people love his work.

Ghana Ali revealed the storyline of the film that is, ” the film covers the era of 1920 when British rule was at its peak in the subcontinent but our forefathers fought against Britain and started a Khilafat Movement to help their Turkish brothers and sisters”. 

Moreover, the film pays tribute to the unsung heroes of the independence movement as well as to the brave Turkish nation. The project aims to strengthen the bond between the two countries.
