When she began her modelling career, Zara Abid, often faced discrimination as the industry preffered models with a lighter skin tone. Yet, she was persistent and hard working and with the immense talent that she had, Zara Abid became the face of a number of renowned brands in Pakistan.

Unfortunately, the immensely talented Zara Abid, who had just begun to explore her many talents, passed away in the fatal plane crash on May 22nd 2020 in Karachi. As a number of tributes began to pour in for Zara, with fond memories shared by her fellow colleagues, the team for the short film Zara had worked in, also decided to release the film as a tribute to the model.

Sikka, features Zara Abid in the lead role. With a voice over by Saba Qamar, Sikka, narrates the story of two women living two diametrically opposite lives but connecting on the same level. Talking about the rut of repetitive life that we all live, Sikka highlights how women, who sacrifice way too much to be able to live a life equal to men, but less fulfilling on so many scales, are often misunderstood and underestimated. Despite having achieved so much, women, who have to work twice as hard as men, end up unfulfilled because appreciation is lost in the cycle of life because this patriarch society that hardly ever celebrates its biggest contributor.

Sikka has been directed and written by Ahmed Sarym and has been released as a tribute to Zara, celebrating her immense talent and beauty.

The issue came forward when Hina Altaf in an interview named Muneeb Butt as an actor who shows more attitude but is not that much good at acting. When the host asked him who is Muneeb Butt, she gave a reference of Muneeb Butt’s wedding. Hina also said that she was not invited in the wedding.

COVI-19 has caused many disasters in the world but have you heard that it benefitted some people?

This couple got married on 6th March in Egypt’s capital Cairo. 36 years old Khaled and 35 years old Peri tied the knot in front of their family and friends.

The couple went for their honeymoon for Cancun, Mexico without any worry about the outbreak of disease. They avoided crowded crowded places but they had no idea about the travel ban.

As soon as they decided to return to their home UAE via Turkey on 19th March, people informed the that government is banning expats.

“While we were on the plane we had access to the internet and then we started getting messages from people ‘Are you going to be able to get to Dubai? There’s a new law, they’re banning expats,'” Peri told BBC.

Still, as they were already in the air, they assumed they would be allowed to travel. But when they tried to board their connecting flight in Istanbul, they were told they could not board.

Khaled and Peri were left stranded at the airport for two days and they were not allowed to leave and enter the city. They didn’t have a boarding pass and that they even struggled to buy toiletries, clothes and were not even allowed to collect their luggage.

They only had the option to go to the Maldives as they were allowed to enter there without a visa. Now they are stranded in the Maldives and waiting to go home and start their married life.

Bollywood star Irrfan Khan’s death was a great loss for the world and his death shocked everyone.

Actress Saba Qamar shared the screen with Irrfan Khan in Bollywood block-buster Hindi Medium. They both appeared as husband and wife and their duo was loved by the audience.

The film grossed US$45 million at the worldwide box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

On Irrfan Khan’s death, Saba Qamar shared her feelings in Samina Peerzada’s show.

News went ripe yesterday that Nida Yasir, Pakistan’s most loved morning show host had tested positive for coronavirus alongside husband Yasir Nawaz and his co-actors, Noaman Sami and Alizeh Shah from drama Mera Dil Mera Dushman.

Although, sources claimed to have confirmed the news from authentic resources, Nida Yasir went on record to state that she hadn’t tested positive for coronavirus and that her husband had only been showing mild symptoms. The PIA plane crash has taken the lives of innocent people who were coming to their loved ones to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Eid. Many people are raising their voice against PIA and they demand answers to this horrible incident.

In another video, she raised her voice for previous plane crashes and said:

“Junaid Jamshed passed away in a plane crash. There are no reports about it till yet. PIA authorities have to give us a report and tell us the truth. Innocent people who paid double price for the ticket to spend their Eid with their loved ones lost their lives. I have worked in the airline industry if one engine fails then other works. This is a human fault and they have to answer this time.”

One of the saddest days in Pakistan’s history was 22nd May 2020 when flight PIA A320 crashed minutes before landing into a residential area.

The PIA plane crash news has shocked everyone and people can’t handle it. So many innocent people lost their lives in this tragic plane crash.

Similarly, late Junaid Jamshed lost his life on 7th December 2016 when PIA Flight 661 crashed in Havelian. The flight was en route to Islamabad from Chitral.

The yesterday’s plane crash reminded Ayeza Khan of Junaid Jamshed’s death and she shared her pain with people on social media.

Ayeza Khan wrote, “Is hadsay ne phir se Junaid Jamshaid kay shaheed hounay kay ghum ko taaza kardya!!!”

Sindh government has confirmed a total of 97 deaths and 2 survivors in the plane crash. There was news that Zara Abid might have survived this plane crash.

There were conflicting reports about Zara Abid’s status but nobody has confirmed report about it. Even Zara Abid’s brother requested people to stop publishing fake news.

According to FHM Pakistan, model Zara Abid has not been able to survive in this plane crash. She lost her life in this tragic incident.

She left for Lahore because her uncle passed away and now she is no more among us.

The world was already suffering due to pandemic and now the horrifying plane crash has shocked everyone from the core.

PIA passenger plane crashed before minutes of landing and it was carrying around 95 passengers and 8 crew members.

One of the passengers was Zara Abid Ali, and earlier it was reported that there are no survival chances of passengers but in other reports, it was said that Zara Abid is among the survivors.

Zara Abid’s brother is still searching for her and he has a special request for people. He said:

“It is a request from everyone that please don’t spread any fake news because there are no reports yet. As soon as we get any news about her we will inform.”
