Pakistan has reported its first two official deaths from coronavirus today. The virus is now taking its roots in Pakistan and its high time people begin taking this seriously. Actress Maya Ali, who recently returned from her trip to the US, also thinks the same.
Maya Ali had been in US raising funds for Shuakat Khanum hospital. Upon her return the actress felt unwell and decided to get herself checked.
Talking about her return from the US and how scary it was for her, Maya took to her social media to share her experience.
“It’s been almost 5 days since I came back from my shaukat khanum fund raising US tour. I had chills when I was there. I got really worried so when I arrived at Lahore airport, they had a proper procedure for all the travellers to go through under the screening. Then I got checked myself and waited 2 days for results. Alhamdulillah test turned out negative,” shared the actress on her Instagram.
Although Maya tested negative, the actress added that she had gone through the ordeal of waiting for the test results with a lot of fear.
“This whole process wasn’t that easy. Stress, anxiety, sleepless nights and most importantly that fear… I know it’s a crucial time, not only for Pakistan but actually for the whole humanity. There is no vaccine that has yet been discovered for this virus, all we can do is self care and follow proper measures. ”
Not only this, Maya urged people to take care of themselves and also remember the needy in such difficult times. She even made a request to the government of Pakistan to help those who could not afford getting tested. “I am more worried about those people who survive on daily wages, now they don’t have any source to feed themselves and their families. They can’t even get checked themselves because of affordability. I’ll request the government of Pakistan to think about them and try to arrange a team who can reach them and get them checked free of cost.”
Maya ended her note on a positive thought, stating how this time too shall pass. “This is not a time to panic and this time too shall pass by Insha ALLAH. For now social distancing is the only way for our safer future. We won’t hug for some time so we can meet more happily later… Have faith in ALLAH and do take every possible precaution for yourself, for your family and for the entire humanity… “Beshak ALLAH is the greatest,” wrote the Teefa in Trouble actress.

Sajal Aly wore a gorgeous pastel shaded flared mustard Pishwas. It was a half sleeves shirt with a sequin work bustier. The tissue fabric was used to create the flare and the silver embellishments were used to give it a formal look in the form of motifs all over as well as border at the bottom of her shirt. Sajal wore a flared lehenga underneath, which had multi-colored jamawar finishing, to make this outfit mehndi appropriate.
The dupatta was made of plain chiffon with similar multi color jamawar finishing underneath. The front side of the dupatta had gota lace and tassels, which once again gave it a vintage look and there were two borders all around the dupatta, once of which was achieved by the gota lace and the other one with silver sequins, following the similar design pattern which is on the sleeves of her outfit. The dupatta also had sequin motifs splattered all over, similar to the ones which are on the flare of her Pishwas. The overall look of the dress gravitated towards simplicity with pop of colors, however the sleeves had heavy designing achieved with silver embellishments for that extra formal effect.
Ahad Raza Mir wore a maroon kurta with rustic gold embroidery splattered across the kurta. The neck and chest have a very decent and intricately done embroidery. He paired it with white churidar pajama.

Sajal Aly chose makeup artist Mubasshar Bhatti to do her mehndi makeup. The makeup artist gave her a natural makeup look, which allowed her natural beauty to shine through. Her eyebrows were defined and eyes accentuated with the help of eyeliner. She is wearing a pink toned blush and a lot of highlighter to achieve the glow-from-within look. Sajal is wearing a gorgeous shade of pink lipstick. The makeup artist also applied false eyelashes to give her eyes a lot more dimension.
Sajal tied her hair back and the center partition allowed a place for the tikka. She wore her hair in a braid and the hairstylist amped up the plain braid with dainty small floral pieces all over her braid which peaked through the see-through dupatta and looked super cute and girly.

Ohkay so, this episode of Ye Dil Mera covered the tracks from past & present, which made it not only interesting but intense too. The first half & the second half had a lot to offer & took the story forward in a convincing manner. Writer Farhat Ishtiyaq has done a commendable job & she deserves all sorts of appreciation for writing a script so intense & intriguing which is able to hold the interest of the viewers even after so many episodes have passed, however, it is unfortunate that this drama didn’t get the kind of direction it deserved to make it even better.
The Present
Ana now has more questions regarding Amaan in her mind than ever before. The initial scene which showed her thoughts written all over screen was new & kind of took me a few seconds to get used to this new idea. If they had used Sajal’s voice over during that scene, asking all those questions & giving words to her thoughts, it would’ve made more impact. Also, the Pyar Ke Sadqay ticker at the bottom of the screen during that scene was a bad choice made by the channel because it censored a couple of dialogues and it could’ve waited. It goes to show that even the Channel is not too keen when it comes to the execution of Ye Dil Mera, hence the blunder!
Amaan got to know about Sahira’s death & just when he was dealing with it, he also found out that his wife was keeping an eye on him & has now started questioning him. Ana has actually found out quite a few evidences which compelled her to cross question Amaan but he is not going to give anything away before he thinks the time is right. It was good to know that at least Ana tried & she didn’t just stop there, she decided to take a stand for herself by threatening Amaan of leaving him if he continues to insult her & mistreat her. Amaan is doing everything to keep this marriage intact, but the sad part is, he is doing it all on his own terms & doesn’t want to treat Ana with equality. Amaan is pretty much comfortable with the idea of keeping Ana in the dark & depriving her of the right to know more about her husband. Amaan was shaken by the news of Sahira’s death, this is why he decided to send Meer Farooq an e-mail containing all the photographs he had of him & his wife.
Meer Farooq got to know that Amaan had sold his business & even finalized the deal in Dubai, therefore he decided to call Amaan to see if he will tell him something or not. Meer Farooq did suggest that he & Ana were in contact but that doesn’t seem to be the case & it looked like it was just said as a cover up because so far no such scene has been shown where Ana & Meer Farooq had spoken to each other over the phone since his trip to France. Anyhow, Meer Farooq was shaken to the core when he got that e-mail from Amaan & he has no idea that a storm awaits for him ahead because going by what Amaan had just said before sending him that email, it seems he is now going to put his plan into action very soon!
The Past
They took us in the past & showed how Meer Farooq continued to pester Humera. I don’t want to be taking away from the story of Ye Dil Mera, but to cut the long story short, that entire scenario was pretty much a reminiscent of Mere Pass Tum Ho, that too with Adnan Siddique playing the similar role, I couldn’t help but see the similarities. He spilled the tea on himself to buy some time to have a conversation with Humera. Well, Humera seems pretty happy with her husband & now it was more obvious why she preferred Obaid over Meer Farooq. Meer Farooq has now started to interfere in Humera’s life & it goes to show that his relationship with Nilofer wasn’t special, he was just married & his entire focus was on his daughter. Nilofer & Meer Farooq did not have a healthy relationship & after that night, Nilofer also found out that Meer Farooq was pretty much still in love with Humera.
It would’ve been nice if they had shown a conversation or two between Nilofer & Humera, discussing how Humera was never really interested & how she was getting uncomfortable with Meer Farooq’s antics. Also, Humera & Obaid were shown to have a very strong relationship, so not sure why was Humera keeping things from her husband, considering Meer Farooq was now trying to invade her privacy & pretty much barging into her home every chance he got. It was unfortunate that Amaan as a child was witnessing everything & he could see how his mother was getting uncomfortable, however, it underlined the hatred Amaan has for Meer Farooq now, it showed that is stems from all of his past experiences & encounters he has had with him during his childhood, even before the murder happened!
Intense & Interesting
This episode of Ye Dil Mera was definitely interesting. The first half was intense & the second half was engaging to keep the viewers hooked & also grow curious about what is yet to come. The preview of the next episode was interesting as well & is definitely making me look forward to it. Ahad Raza Mir was phenomenal in this episode, it was good to see all the shades of Amaan’s character once again because in a previous few episodes, his emotions were very much in place & he was sorted. It perfectly showed how Sahira’s death disturbed Amaan. He has shown to be having soft spot for those who have been wronged or mistreated by Meer Farooq, this is why, even though Amaan distanced himself from Sahira, her death mentally scattered him, which is why he decided to punish Meer Farooq by showing him the pictures. Sahad’s wedding was the most anticipated event of the year. With the start of year news started revolving everywhere that Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Ali will be tying the knot this year. When the same question was asked from Ahad Raza Mir in an interview he considered it a rumor. But from the mid of February the pictures from the Dholki and Mayoun of Ahad and Sajal started revolving on the internet making Sahad’s fans excited about the big event that was ready to take place. Earlier, Fahad Mustafa tweeted that parents must keep their children away from Tiktok bullshit but he was trolled by social media. Many people were bringing his game show ‘Jeeto Pakistan’ as their counter-argument.
The Load Wedding actor appeared in an interview and shared reasons for hating Tiktok.
“I was shooting for a song and many people gathered because everybody has a camera and they want selfies from the best angle. It’s ok you take selfies with people.”
He continued and said, “But after that, I was dancing on a wall and the camera was moving with me and there were lots of people around 250-300 and I fell. I tripped and fell on camera and got injured. I gave my shot but I was limping walking back to my vanity and this boy runs up to me and said ‘Fahad Bhai please shoot one Tiktok with me’. I was bleeding at that time.”
“Then I thought its an addiction and you can’t figure it out that one person is in pain. What’s the point?”
Fahad Mustafa believes Tiktok is a waste of time and said, “I go out rarely and we were shooting at Frere Hall so after a long time I shot outdoors in Karachi. I witnessed people get ready early in the morning and make Tiktoks whole day. It was a waste of time.”
He also talked about how people misuse it and make videos of girls without their permission and tease them. “I just said this because it is a misuse but I think its a mistake,” he clarified.
The Jeeto Pakistan host recalled that after his tweet many people criticized his game show.
“My show is a game show, why are you expecting that? When did I say that I am highly educated and will lecture you about different things? Its a game show and it’s for fun.”
Fahad Mustafa didn’t reply to any tweet and said, “You’re comparing apple and oranges like this. Its stupidity and that’s why I didn’t reply to tweets.”
The devastated daughter of Aamir Liaquat also called out her father for hurting the whole family by getting married.

Aamir Liaquat’s first wife, Bushra Aamir also criticized him indirectly several times on her Instagram account.
Recently, Bushra has removed the surname of her husband and changed her name on Twitter. She removed Aamir from her Twitter name and changed it to ‘Syeda Bushra Iqbal’.
The reasons for removing Aamir from her surname has not been revealed yet but people are suspecting that the couple might have been separated or divorced.
There are chances that Syeda Bushra Iqbal maybe just simply trying to move on in her life by forgetting the past incidents.

The provincial minister of Punjab for information and culture, Fayan Ul Hassan Chohan in a press conference called out disabled children as a curse for the parents.
He was addressing people regarding Coronavirus and advised people not to store stuff or else they will be punished by the state and as well as by God.
He stated, “The people who adopt this ideology of storing stuff gets punished. Allah punishes them by giving them ‘disabled children’.”
The Iron Lady of Pakistan, Muniba Mazari who is an activist for differently-abled people raised her voice against this.
She took to social media and called out Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan for his shameful remarks for differently-abled children.
“Is this for real? I’m appalled & disgusted!” she stated.
The Iron Lady appealed Prime Minister to take action. She wrote, “Imran Khan (official) Sir, I hope you watch this & ask your team to have some empathy, wisdom, decency and grace! This is Shameful!.”
“PS: I am a person who’s differently abled & my mother takes pride in what I’ve done for my country so far!” Muniba Mazari proudly said.
Pakistan’s tally for coronavirus is reaching an alarming stage gradually. As of the last count, 184 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country.

Following the news, all broadcasters and cricketers affiliated with PSL will undergo tests of coronavirus in a few hours before departing back to their homes, either within or outside Pakistan.

“Surrounded by concern regarding COVID-19, we FilmWala pictures have made the decision to postpone the shoot of our film Fatman,” Nabeel Qureshi said.
He further said, “We take the health and safety of both our crew and Actors seriously and we are taking preventative steps to ensure the wellbeing of our community in this time of a national crisis.”
Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad which features Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan in lead roles will release on its time.
“While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer for Fatman, We would love to tell our audience that Quaid e Azam Zindabad remains on the original release plan of Eid Ul Azha 2020 Inshalah.”
The Actor In Law director prayed and wrote, “In the meanwhile let’s pray for a healthier and safer world.”
