Amir Liaquat has become a very well known personality of Pakistan; he is a television host and former politician.

Till last night, he could be seen on Bol News hosting “Aisa Nahi Chale Ga” .However, he announced his resignation from Bol yesterday in the same show.

After a patriotic speech, Amir Liaquat said:

This is my last program and you (audience) will not see me again on Bol TV.

It was clearly a surprise announcement by the host as he was cut off as soon as he announced his resignation. He seemed to be apologizing for hurting anyone by his decision before the transmission of Bol News was terminated.

The former member of National Assembly was serving as the Executive President BOL News Network when he decided to part ways with them.The reasons behind quitting the channel have not been disclosed so far by the TV anchor, who joined the channel in 2016. Till now, he has remained silent on his twitter account regarding the announcement too.

Speculations have begun on whether or not he is going to join Geo News again or even try his luck on the new news channel, Hum News.

Pakistanis are celebrating their Independence day today, on 14 of August and Indians will be celebrating their Independence day tomorrow, on 15 of August.

It is no surprise that even after 70 years there is still bad blood between the two countries and are even known as arch rivals; Kashmir issue is one of their biggest differences. And so the peace efforts that are made by people of either country are greatly appreciated and recognized.

Recently, ‘Voice of Ram’, a humanitarian Facebook page just released a video featuring the Pakistani National Anthem and the Indian National Anthem sung by singers from both countries and this mash up of both the anthems is going viral.

The video begins with the words, “When we open our borders to art, peace comes along.” And it closes with the words, “Let’s stand together for peace”.

Filmmaker and activist Ram Subramanian, who heads Voice of Ram, told Indian site Catch News that he made the videos “because a lot of people are afraid to speak about peace, and it’s an illogical fear”.

Our flag’s colors are green and white – the color green takes the major portion of the flag and represents the Muslims of Pakistan, while the colour white represents the minority religions and minority communities.

Nazia Hassan the pioneer of Pop music in Pakistan, the princess of Pop left this world today 17 years ago. Nazia started her career as a child artist and became a sensation at a meager age of 15 when she sang Aap Jaisa Koi. Her Disco Deewane is still a part of our playlists. Nazia was suffering from cancer and fought with it for some years. But no one can reverse destiny and Nazia left millions of her fans on 13th August, 2000. 17 years ago and Nazia is still in our hearts.

Just a day away, Pakistan’s 70th Independence Day has already garnered a lot of limelight just like every year. Why wouldn’t it be plastered everywhere, when this country was the result of ultimate countless sacrifices? Ary Films have released the first poster of their upcoming film “Azaadi”, starring Moammar Rana and Sonya Hussain.

Rest of the cast includes Nadeem Baig, Mariam Ansari, Erum Azam, Ali Fateh, Ali Bilal and Samama Randhawa. It is directed by Imran Malik and produced by Imran Malik and Irfan Malik.

The film is shot in Kashmir and the Northern areas of Pakistan and will be coming to Cinema screens in November of this year.

The movie looks like an action sequence. However, Soniya Hussain is in an entirely western ensemble, so we will have to wait for more of the movie to be revealed to get an idea of the actual plot.

Momina Mustehsan isn’t far behind when it comes to surprising people for the sake of greater good. The music sensation paired up with PIA to surprise people on a flight from Karachi to Islamabad. She sang her debut song “Afreen Afreen” to the exultation of many.

The passengers of the plane went over-excited when they saw the young musical sensation on-board the same flight with all the musical equipment. The atmosphere couldn’t have been more euphoric when she started singing and told people to sing with her too.

Pakistan’s biggest province in terms of area is Balochistan. However, unfortunately it is the most behind in terms of development. The Balochistan film industry is the most neglected industry of all the provinces.

According to the producers the film “Sangat” will be the very first of its kind. It is an upcoming contemporary production of Baloch cinema. The producer Waheed Albushi, further said he and his team is looking forward to revive cinema in the province.

He rightly pointed out the development that is required by the Balochistan film Industry.

Though the Pakistani film industry is undergoing a revival of sorts, the Balochistan film industry has yet to develop as there is a dearth of the filmmakers here.

He further shared his grievances saying that the cinemas are being converted to shopping malls.

In the last few years, four out of the seven cinemas in Quetta have been closed down due to lack of productions.

The movie’s plot revolves around the story of five friends and involves a lot of drama and action sequences.

It was filmed in Oman, and was made with a budget of Rs 3 million.

Albulshi further added that plan to release the film nationwide as well as in Gulf states is under works, and that it will premiere in Balochistan in the “coming weeks”.

The director of the film, Sami Sarang , in an interview to a local news agency, said that he wants to portray a different side of Balochistan through this film. He also shared what he hopes to achieve with this film,

We are hoping to lay down a foundation and build a strong film industry so that the young Baloch talent has a platform to showcase their skills.

Punjab Nahi Jaungi has to be the most heavily marketed movie of today. Releasing On Eid ul Azha, they have already started the pre-booking. Ary films have been releasing promos and teasers of the movie as well its official songs which have served well to increase its anticipation among the public.

Today a new song from the movie has been released called Raat Ka Nasha.  It’s lyrics are by Ahmed Ali Butt and the vocals are by Damia, Rizwan and Ahmed Ali Butt.

The song features Ushna Shah all glammed  up in a western outfit ready to dance the night away with Azfar Rehman which she does fabulously in the video. Sahir Lodhi, the self acclaimed Shahrukh Khan of our industry makes sure he remains in the news for one reason or the other. He is unprecedented in doing the oddest of antics on every public platform that he gets the chance to grace.

Faisal Rehman showed his never seen side on Nida Yasir’s morning show. The actor has been ruling the hearts of audience for many years now. He talked about his personal life and family in the show.

When asked about his film career Faisal said that his father was in film industry and many producers and directors used to come to his home. While looking for a new face to launch Nazr ul Islam Sahab asked Faisal to do the role and that is how he made his debut in the film industry opposite none other than Shabnam Jee. As his career advanced he worked with many other actresses like Arfa Siddiqui and Kavita but his pair with Babra Sharif was immensely loved by the audience and he did most of his films opposite her. He has acted in almost 40 films.

Faisal has three bothers. He said since there was no girl in the house all of his brothers and him were more into mischief and running around rather than sitting down and study. As a result he was always a very average student and though he never failed but he always passed on margin.

Faisal is a fitness junkie. When asked about his house he said he does not have much furniture because he lives alone but there is a lot of gym stuff and exercise equipment in his house. He is not a foodie and not a fan of oily food either. He does not have many preferences in food but he avoids fatty and oily food. Spicy food does not bother him as he eats a lot of Thai when he travels abroad.

Do you know Faisal has a Youtube channel too? The name of his channel is Faisal Rehman Official. As he is a fond of travelling Faisal has started this channel on which he shares videos from places where he travels and also BTS of his shoots. Faisal is still single so Nida went on a spree to get him a dulhan. With other guests Jiya Ali, Binita David and Chef Farah on the sets Nida made a lot of fun of rishta process for Faisal.
