The show also has astrologer Samia Khan and comedians Barkat and Uzmi who all contribute to the interview. The latest guest on the show was singer and actress Shahida Mini.

The format of the show is the host asking questions while there is a segment with Samia and Barkat and Uzmi keep giving their opinions and asking their questions in between. Azfar Rehman recently appeared in Ahsan Khan’s show Bol Nights along with Sadaf Kanwal. On a question related to Award shows Ahsan Khan Asked, “do awards really matter or change the game of actor?”. Azfar said, “to me, awards really do not matter as I have always been nominated for my hit dramas like I was nominated for Nazar e bad but I didn’t go to Toronto and in LSA 2019 I was supposed to do hosting alongside Mehwish Hayat but on the last moment I refused.

He said that ” I am a party person, I would rather go to a friend’s party comfortably instead of attending award show sitting in a stiff manner and asking the one closest buddies Hey what’s up? In a pretentious tone. He said knowing the reality of those people in real, I can’t sit in pretense in such shows as I am who I am.

He said most of the people are fake in such shows whereas in reality they just say to others like
“Oye chaey laao ” and in formal gatherings, they are simply different people.

He elaborated the whole award shows in a comic way and Ahsan was laughing hard at his satire, also once in same show Faysal Quraishi has opened up about hypocrisy of award shows where ” fresh of the boats ” sit in front rows and the veteran and senior actors sit in third and fourth row. He said I and Humayun have sat at the back.

So yes, we agree that nowadays awards are hyped and overrated but it is actually the talent that breaks all the ratings and Azfar’s Aatish proved to be hit.

Hands down only few tracks have managed to get the recognition that Arif Lohar’s and Meesha Shafi’s Jugni from coke studio got or may be I should write “is getting” for the song is still being covered by artists across the globe.

Earlier we reported that Syra Shahroze and Shahroze Sabzwari have signed a fim together. It is being shot in Bahrain these days. This would be couple’s first ever film together. It is reported that that ‘Turn Me On’ singer Kevin Lyttle is going to be a part of the film. Earlier, it was revealed that Indian actor Ankur Rathee would act in the film. Directed by Omar Isa Khan, this upcoming movie also features young actors including Sabeena Saeed who made her film debut in Parwaaz Hai Junoon while the film is going to serve as a debut for Aadi Adeal Amjad, Shehzeen Rahat and others. The film revolves around two young people – that’d be Syra and Shahroze – who fall in love but their love, however, falls apart owing to their circumstances.The film will tentatively be released on Eid-ul-Adha in 2019.

Pakistan television is the state run television network funded by tax payers money. Like other government run agencies financial condition of PTV is quite bad despite recieving billions in the name of PTV License Fee every year. Despite huge staff, equipment and buildings the news channels of PTV are worst when it comes to credibility. The production quality of PTV’s news and current affair programs is at lowest as well.
PTV Home is the most watched terrestrial channel in Pakistan and it is a family entertainment channel. Despite the largest channel it is not much active on social media and seldom bothers to promote its programs which could result in further revenue. Perhaps this overstaffed institution doesn’t have any staff member to look into this aspect. The official page of PTV Home is not updated since August 2014.

However the most valueable effort by PTV is its regional channels like PTV National, PTV Bolan and Azad Jammu Kashmir Television. Despite having a huge army of directors who are full time employee of PTV enjoying all the perks available in a government institution, PTV seldom produces its own entertainment content mainly drama and relies on private productions.

AUSS (اوس) is one such drama being aired from 1st December 2014. Written by Wasi Shah, Sania Saeed, Faisal Qureshi, Babar Ali, Zainab Qayoom, Shamoon Abbassi are in the lead roles while it is shot on scenic locations of Murree.

Aurangzeb Leghari is a big name from the PTV lot of our veterans. He has been a part of many hit dramas in his career and now he is in the news for focusing more on his furniture business as he is not getting many acting opportunities. Aurangzeb Leghari was a guest on Wasi Shah’s show and spoke about the regrets he has in life.

Aurangzeb Leghari revealed that he got married for a second time and it turned out to be the worst experience of his life. He said that his second wife was not the woman that he thought she was but he had two kids with her and he did not have the courage to divorce her. Later on his wife shifted to the USA with his kids and he was crying. She thought he was crying that she was moving away but he cried for all the years he lost due to his decision.

He also spoke highly of his first wife who was his strength when he was nothing. She was with him throughout her life and he lost her a few years back. He also shared his second marriage and gave her a lot of depression. He apologized from the bottom of his heart and seeing him in pain made her forgive him for his second marriage.
