Leading actor of Pakistani showbiz industry Sohail Sameer has shown the essence of acting in many super hit drama serials. Sohail Sameer hails from Lahore and started his career as a model and later stepped into the world of showbiz.

The actor recently gave an interview in which he talked a lot about himself and told how his life became successful.

Well known artist Sohail Sameer said that “I am very grateful to Allah for everything I have today.” “I have been very shy since I was a child,” says Sohail.

The actor said that he completed his education from Rawalpindi. He did his matriculation from Sir Syed School, then graduated from Government College. Further he added that “then I tried to do MBA but unsuccessfully I did not succeed in marketing. My uncle had adopted me and at that time he was on duty as a registrar in Rawalpindi. He helped me in me educational process, he was a very honest man but he left us too soon.”

Sohail further revealed that “the legendary actress who brought me to dramas is Sawera Nadeem, she gave me the opportunity to show the essence of acting for the first time.”

Shuja Asad is a brilliant Pakistani model and actor. He has started his career as a main lead actor from the drama serial Pyar Deewangi Hai alongside Neelam Muneer. He is currently appearing in the drama serial Brandish 2. He has also appeared in many popular television commercials. The actor is being admired by critics and drama viewers. Lately, he appeared in Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show where he talked about facing humiliation on his unaligned teeth during the auditions held by various production houses. He said, “I used to go for auditions where the team members used to say me, ‘your teeth are not aligned, they don’t look good’, the drama team employees used to say this on my face. They used to ignore me and were respectful towards other actors. I also had to go through this and I was also fat, I lost weight then I had my braces, previously , I couldn’t even smile, I can’t tell you about many things”

‘Waar’-the movie has broken all the previous records in Pakistan and is still ruling the cinemas with never-ending revenue been generated. The movie has been also released in UAE and by now, has earned a great feedback and business, simultaneously. However, at one end where the audience is loving this renaissance in the Pakistani film industry, the neighboring country, especially its media, is all busy in giving a bad name to the film. Note that, Waar can be considered as the first high-budgeted Pakistani movie which highlights the patriotic theme in the story.

Since the very next day of its reveal, India has been calling it as an attempt to blame India for everything going wrong in Pakistan in response to which, the director and the writer have been justifying their part completely. It is now actor Shaan who has spoken on the matter during an interview with the Gulf News. He made his point clear that like India, even Pakistan has a complete right to make films on patriotic theme.

He said:

 “I don’t think it’s an India-bashing film. It is based on the issues that people [in Pakistan] are facing right now.

Every person has a right to be patriotic about his country,” says Shaan, defending the subject matter of the film. “With all due respect, as far as India is concerned, they have been making films bashing Pakistan left, right and centre anytime they want to. As an actor, I feel it is okay, because they are being patriotic Indians. For once, when a Pakistani wants to be patriotic, the whole world has a problem with it.”

Also,

 “If a film is made in Pakistan, we are going to give our views and we are going to say what we think is right. That is one problem we are facing right now. It is a proxy war and there has to be some hand behind it, and we can nominate anybody [as responsible for it].”

Shaan was polite enough to advise India by telling it to act like an elder brother and support Pakistan for bringing this cinematic change.

A few days ago, actor Sajid Hasan’s son, Sahir Hasan, was arrested in the Mustafa Aamir murder case. According to details, a commission was formed to investigate the matter thoroughly. During the investigation, police discovered that Armaghan Qureshi, the accused in Mustafa Aamir’s murder case, allegedly obtained drug supplies from actor Sajid Hasan’s son, Sahir Hasan. Additionally, the DNA of the girl found in his house was confirmed to be that of his maid. No evidence of Sahir Hasan’s involvement in Mustafa Aamir’s murder has been found; however, he was arrested on drug supply charges and has been remanded for one day.
