Green Entertainment is a new channel that has been in development and production for quite some time now. The channel will focus on bringing out-of-the-box dramas and scripts which are generally not a part of mainstream drama channels. Green is finally launching in April and we will get to see many big str in totally new avatars for new dramas that are coming. After releasing a grand promo of the shows that will debut on that channel, the first drama trailer is out and it has an ensemble cast with Zahid Ahmed in the lead.

Zahid Ahmed is playing a divorce lawyer in 101 Talaqein and we will get to see Naveen Waqar, Anoushay Abbasi, Zubab Rana, Usama Khan, Yasir Nawaz and many others in 101 Talaqein. Sonya Hussyn and Zahid were last seen in the mega-hit drama serials Ishq Zah-e-Naseeb and Mohabbat Tujhy Alvida. Sonya Hussyn and Zahid Ahmed are really good friends in real life. Zahid Ahmed was recently seen in the show Choti Car Bara Star.

In one of the segments in Choti Car Bara Star Zahid Ahmed did a prank call to his co-star Sonya Hussyn. From its first look, the serial seems exact copy of the old Indian film Judaai and as it looks, Zahid is playing role of “Anil Kapoor” Sonya is playing Sridevi’s character and Mansha Pasha in Urmila’s character.

Although we cannot judge whole story from it’s first look, however, from its impression, the drama seems a complete rip off of the Bollywood film as the teaser is so obvious. Sonya’s acting is as over the top as Sridevi’s was in the film (the role calls for it).

Titled Tou Dil Ka Kia Hua, the play stars Ahmed as Saif, who’s a criminal, opposite Ayeza Khan of Pyarey Afzal fame. “It’s a very twisted and complicated love story,” Zahid Ahmed told Instep. “I’m playing the antagonist.”

The actor also informed that Tou Dil Ka Kia Hua also stars Sami Khan in the lead role and a few other notable actors whose stories are interlinked in the play.

“It’s going to be one hell of a play; the storyline is extremely interesting,” he shared. “Ayeza and I have started shooting for the play and it will air sometime in summer.”

In a recent interview, he talked about using drugs and said, “Yes, I have been into drugs. I have used hash a lot in my life and now Alhamdulillah I have quit.”

“There is enough drama in the world, the society has completely changed. Karachi is the second most popular city when it comes to marijuana consumption so we should talk about it. My sons are growing and in their surroundings, people use it because it’s common,” he said.

“In Islamabad, crystal meth is being sold in school campuses and crystal meth is death. The person who uses it dies in 2-3 years.”

Zahid Ahmed talked about drugs and said, “Why are we not talking about it? When will we talk about it? Why are you judging it as a sin? It is in our society and I have made a whole video on this topic on my channel. If you see youngsters they say that marijuana and hash are not haraam in Islam and it has no side effects.”

Talking about his experience, he said, “It’s my 10-15 years of experience and I want to say, if it has no side effect then it has no advantage as well. When I left drugs I felt a lot of change. “

“I can say when you are high it becomes damn easy to not give a damn about anything and because of this people use it. After listening to this, it must sound positive but if you see it from another perspective it is about ‘you are not giving damn about anything in life’. When you are high you are not giving damn about relationships and not bother about anything in life. You are detached, numb, and it is an easy escape from life. You stop growing as a person completely,” Zahid Ahmed added.

Zahid Ahmed advised the youth to think about this and stop using drugs because its harmful for your mental health and physical health.

The very talented and versatile Pakistani actor Zahid Ahmed was recently spotted in an interview with “Something Haute”.

Zahid talking about his recent project ‘Faryad’ mentioned that “In drama serial Faryad the base was the character not the story. You can’t hold the best of both, the story and character in every play, we just can’t. It is not possible to have the best story and best character for yourself in every play.”

“In Faryad I focused on this one fact that this guy is a disaster himself. He has no moral compass what so ever. I have played several twisted characters before but those characters twisted for a reason and this guy in Faryad has no reason”, he added.

Further Zahid said that “The message this serial will give to the audience is that upbringing of a child is a very important thing and if it goes wrong then there is very little damage control you can do.”

In a recent interview, Zahid Ahmed talked about his family. He shared the best thing he loves about his kids.

“I have two boys. I believe in life which is full of love and happiness. My rule is to stay happy and even I said to my wife ten years ago that despite any conditions I want to stay happy. So, now I and my wife deal with extreme love and understanding with our kids,” Zahid said.

“Due to this love, my kids are developing into good personalities. They are handling their school lives and everything so nicely that it makes me happy. I believe when they will grow, they will be very mature and balanced.  Being a father, I love to be with my kids. I actually play cricket with them,” Zahid shared.

“Won’t she gets jealous of your female following? When girls come to take selfies with you?” asked the host.

“No she she gives me the space, she has a big heart or my be she doesn’t concern herself for this, because if she start doing it, she might stress out. But because its been a while know so she has dealt with it.

Talking about his wife he said: “Alhumdulilah I have a gorgeous wife, she is tall, she is beautiful, she is successful, very enterprising; she has started her own business. She is software engineer from a very reputable school so she is a very empowered woman and I also like to give her that freedom that space that trust, our trust has been through so many stages that now we are settled with each other.I can go to any extent for her and she will do the same.

Talking about his children he said: “I have two boys. Because I believe in a life which is happy and full of love. We are dealing our children with much love an understanding.

Zahid Ahmed has started his Youtube channel where he shared how to be regular in Namaz and how we can get close to Allah (S.W.T) by offering prayers.

Before sharing his message, he cleared that he doesn’t care if people are going to criticize this video because an actor is teaching them how to be regular in Namaz. “It doesn’t matter if you’re an actor, doctor, mirasi or chef. It is the beauty of our religion that the purpose of life is to serve Allah and get close to Him,” he said.

In this world of chaos, many young modern Muslims are finding it difficult to pray five times a day. Zahid Ahmed suggested that no matter what pray five times a day.

“If you look at Namaz with this thought that you have to perform it because it is a sin not to perform or your mother have said so but the question is how to attach yourself to Namaz?”

He said, “One thing which gave me a hint was if you look at the translation of Surah Al-Fatiha it says, “God guide me towards the right path“.

The actor further shared in his video, “If you want to offer Namaz that power will be given by Him. You must have sincerity in your heart but the strings are in the control of Almighty Allah.”

Zahid Ahmed shared, “The ability to perform Namaz is given by Allah and we need to be sincere and ask from Him to guide us towards the right path.”

One of the most famous and talented Pakistani actor Zahid Ahmed was recently spotted in an interview with “Something Haute”.

Zahid Ahmed reveling about the ending of Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida mentioned that “I think the second last episode of Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida was aired last week. We are never sure about the number of episodes as an actor.”

“We just shoot the drama which we are supposed to do. After editing we never know the duration period of that drama. It’s never the number on the script. This script however consisted of 30 episodes probably”, added Zahid.

Further Zahid answering to the question of conclusion of drama said that “In the last episode the drama will be finished. Further I don’t want to give any comment about the ending of the drama.”

Zahid Ahmed in his recent interview with “Something Haute” revels about his upcoming projects.

Zahid says that “You might get to see my production work soon. I have shot a 45 minute episode for pilot series and it’s a complete story. The series ‘Black Mirror’ is my inspiration for that show.”

“It is an anthology story. Every episode has a new story. The first season consist of eight seasons. It’s completely a new content, nothing to do with love and relationships. Quite gripping content, thriller and mystery are part of this story. Every episode will lead a new star”, added Zahid.

Further talking about his film he said that “‘Ghabrana Nahe Hai’ my film with Saba Qamar has been shot 97%. We are planning to release on Eid-ul-Adha but it depends on Corona situation and cinemas opening. I’m very excited and hopeful for this film. I can say to some extend that you guys will really like this film. I haven’t signed any drama after Faryaad till now.”
