The Drama serial Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin which is based on human trafficking has recently received a notice form PEMRA for showing content which is not according to the standards set by PEMRA. Yumna Zaidi who is playing the central character in the drama has finally opened up about the notice issued by PEMRA to Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin.

“Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin is a very special project. The aspects on which the makers have thrown the light are very important and we need to talk about them, we should think about them. I don’t understand that how PEMRA issued a notice on content. Whenever I do a cause-based project I just think that it will be the “Sadqa” of my acting I don’t look at other things. I have already mentioned it. But it made me very upset that what does the team of PEMRA wants to allow. If we don’t talk about the issues of government schools, streets and villages then we will just watch the news and it will be a piece of real news that this happened to a boy and it happened to a girl. If we are making content on something just let it go through at least” Yumna continued “We cannot always make saas-bahu serial we also make romantic dramas and when we give shelf space to so many things, some little space must be given to it as well”

The ever gorgeous and accomplished Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi was recently spotted in an interview with “Fuchsia Magazine”.

Talking about working internationally Yumna mentioned that “I got many offers to work internationally but working internationally means that you should have a good and solid content to work. Offers do come but there should be something impactful”.

“It’s nothing there yet, I want to work hard to achieve such success of working internationally. At least I’ll try for it”, added Yumna.

Further Yumna said that “I believe that I have polished my skills given to me by God with time and I want to polish them more and learn more as time passes. I want to work internationally and I’ll definitely make it one day with my hard work and talent”.

The talented and beautiful actress Yumna Zaidi has impressed the audience with her brilliant performances.

From playing the role of a next-door girl to strong characters, she has done it all.

Yumna Zaidi in an interview talked about the person who is behind her successful career.

She named actor Affan Waheed behind her first television break.

Yumna Zaidi shared, “He was the one who introduced me to the industry. He is a good friend of my sister.”

While praising Affan Waheed, she said, “He is a very nice person a wonderful human being.”

She further said, “My first serial aired on ATV when I was in 8th class. He used to give me pick and drop service from the sets to home.”

Yumna Zaidi has a suggestion for Affan Waheed, she said, “He is a really good actor. Affan Waheed should do more negative roles.”

Affan and Yumna have worked together in Guzarish that aired on ARY Digital in 2015.

Yumna Zaidi is the most versatile actress in Pakistani drama industry right now. She has been impressing us with intelligent choice of scripts, strong performances and her professionalism. In a recent interview with Maliha Rehman Yumna Zaidi revealed that playing the character of Bakhtu on screen was not easy as she used to wear very baggy clothes and there was no-makeup on her face. Facing the camera in bare face and in such a non-glamorous role is not easy at all. She definitely took a risk in doing a role with zero makeup and where she was not looking dreamy which is normally loved by the audience.

Yumna also revealed that shooting Bakhtawar was not easy as they shot in crowded places ad markets and she would have some people from security around her when she played Bakhtawar and no-security when she played Bakhtu. Yumna shared that she also realized how difficult it would be for a woman who actually goes through such difficulty.

Talented artist Yumna Zaidi has won big at 19th Lux Style Awards. For her performance in drama serial Inkaar, she received the award for Best TV Actress – Viewer’s Choice.

Yumna Zaidi, being the most humble person thanked everyone who helped her in the journey.
