“The major collapse in my marriage was his mother, she had a problem with my music. We lived together for 5.5 years and after that we parted our ways. Iqrar ul Hassan and three members of his team were tortured by officers of a federal agency. Iqrar ul Hassan has sustained severe injuries but is out of danger. He and his team were beaten because they exposed the corruption of an officer.

Journalist community and celebrities have come out in support of Iqrar ul Hassan and has condemned the attack on his life. They have asked the government to take action against the involved elements. Five officers have been suspended after the debacle.

News Anchor Iqrar ul Hassan who is a household name due to his show Sare Aam has been attacked and beaten along with his team. The anchor has allegedly been attacked by Director IB Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan and his team for exposing an IB officer’s corruption with video proofs.

The anchor was immediately rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in Karachi where he was given first aid and is out of danger now according to the doctors. Iqrar came on a video shared by fellow anchor Waseem Badami where he explained that one of his shoulders is dislocated and he has also suffered a rib fracture along with an abnormal ECG report as he was given electric shocks.

Zara Tareen who worked in his written play Mushk said that her character was disappeared from drama due to Covid but netizens are sane, they didn’t buy this reason, she said that her work was discontinued and she was labeled as a rude actor with tantrums on demand of basic accomodation, she further said that producers refused to respond her calls. Zara said, “It was a very important character and they were just trying to dumb it down, which I resisted so they came up with a reason to get rid of me. This happens a lot, it’s not just with me.”

Talking about this big accusation, Imran Ashraf said that he was unaware of any controversy or insecurities of Zara, he said, “writing for Zara is a pleasure, she aces her scenes so easily, Zara! I request you to say ‘Yes’ on my script, next time when I will be writing” he refused to reply to the other question, “if there were any such insecurities that really happened?”, he further said that he won’t reply more.
