In a recent interview, before Faryal and Daniyal Raheel’s marriage, Faryal was seen talking about her fears and her past with Samina Peerzada and open up about what made her run away from relationships.
Faryal shared how she was the one commitment phobic in a relationship. “I am the one who runs away or breaks up a relationship because I have rarely seen stability in my life. I cannot even commit with a project that demands 50-60 days. I’ll work faster and I can work in months but I cannot commit because it scares me.
“Whenever I dated, I ran away whenever I saw a red flag. I just don’t want any drama in my life because there has already been so much drama,” said Faryal referring to her tumultuous past.

Faryal then opened up about Danial Raheal and how he handled her. “I have to give a round of applause for Danial and how he handles me. The way he talks to me, I run away from things. I shut him out, trying to run away from things, but he’s there,” shared Faryal.
“The problem is commitment, because when someone who knows about your past in detail and if they use something from it, I just want to get away from it. There is so much anger inside me, I cannot take that all out so I become silent,” added Faryal further.
Faryal also shared a lot about her commitment phobia and then added how Daniyal and his family especially had brought some stability in her life.
“I now have a man who really loves me. I even love his family. They’re so amazing. Its something I’ve wanted all in my life. They give me stability. His mother is so good. I love her. She understands me,” said Faryal while talking emotionally about Daniyal and his family.
Adding further Faryal shared how Simi Raheal always took her side and made Daniyal see her position. She also stated that it was Simi Raheel who made her realize that she had to choose herself over everything else.
Faryal and Daniyal recently tied the knot during quarantine. On the work front, the actress will next be seen in Faysal Qureshi’s film Sorry: A Love Story.

In a sad turn of events, veteran Pakistani drama actor, Tariq Malik, passed away on Thursday. Initial sources report Malik’s cause of death to be a heart attack. Although he had been diagnosed with typhoid and coronavirus as well.
According to family sources, Malik had tested positive for coronavirus a week ago and was undergoing treatment at a local hospital where he died of cardiac arrest on Thursday.

Talking about his family he said, “I was not going to become a designer, my father was a politician and people in my family go in the Army or do CSS. My family was patriotic and I wanted to be too but I wasn’t interested in all that.”
“I wanted to do something else for Pakistan but I lost my eyesight. When my eyesight came back, I could only see red for some time. You might have noticed red colour in my collection because for me red is the colour of life,” HSY added.
HSY praised his mother and sister and said, “After lots of surgeries, I got my eyesight back and my mother and sister supported me a lot emotionally. After that accident, my life was finished. It was dark in my heart it was dark around me. I could feel the sadness around me.”
HSY decided to become a designer after recovery. He shared, “After recovering I told my mother that now I want to live my life and do things on my own. It wasn’t about designing clothes it was about beauty. I want to make things that make other people look beautiful. I want to be around colour and create things with me in my mind couldn’t see before.”

“People often say that I end up taking the role of women who cry a lot. I don’t know why such sensitive topics fall in my lap, but they do. However, when I read Ghalati’s script and talked to Saba Hameed (the director) in detail, I realized that this was about a woman who took a stand,” said Hira.
“There are very few women who are vocal while there are more who stay silent and bear everything with patience. But this was different so when I read the script, I said, I’d do it because it was so beautifully written,” added Hira.

“Affan and I discussed it together and said this would be the death of Do Bol because we’d be separating in this drama. Nobody breaks their hit pair. Fawad Mahira didn’t do that and I believe Sajal and Ahad won’t do it ever either, but Affan and I did, because the drama gave away a strong message,” said Hira about the pairing in the drama and how it affected the audience.
Hira added that she believed if something was giving out a positive message, whether it was an ad or a drama, she would do it for the sake of spreading something important, something that mattered.

Yes! Shanzay is a loser and she is taking the entire plot of the drama down with her. When and how she turned into a loser is still a mystery but this newfound loserpan is responsible for the story going down a path that is clichéd to the core. Two women fighting over a man, one if modern and clever, the other one old-fashioned and innocent, never thought Pyar Ke Sadqay would take such a turn. This entire scenario has been-there-seen-that like a million times written all over it. Mahjabeen is the saving grace of Pyar Ke Sadqay. Her character is adorable and amusing at the same time. Even in this ridiculously clichéd situation, Mahjabeen’s scenes make you laugh and fall in love with her a little more! No matter how ridiculous things get Yumna Zaidi and Bilal Abbas Khan’s performances continue to keep you engaged and looking forward to more.
Right now, there are a lot of loopholes in the script and the fact that some of the more sensible characters have suddenly disappeared makes it quite apparent that the writer wants to prolong the conflict. Although I am utterly disappointed at the recent turn of events since there were so many more interesting possible scenarios that could have been shown, Mahjabeen and Abdullah make this drama bearable.
Shanzay Is a Loser
This scene was laughable for so many reasons. Shanzay has conveniently been turned into a loser in order to add conflict in the story and make the viewers root for Abdullah and Mahjabeen. So, Shanzay still thinks that Abdullah is a loser yet she is dying to get married to him! If she was 13, her present state of mind would have made perfect sense. Not only is she much older but she was a really sensible and confident girl as well. First, she chose to get married to someone who wasn’t even remotely likable then even before she got a divorce she thought she needed a backup! The backup is a guy she does not even think is worthy of her. If Shanzay has low self-esteem the viewers should have been informed about it so that all this desperation made more sense.
I was expecting Shanzay to fake the suicide but as it turned out she actually tried to take her life for the ‘loser’! That does make Shanzay the biggest loser in the drama but while Abdullah’s character has been well-established in all these episodes, Shanzay sudden loserpan is simply unexplainable and yes I just can’t get over it! For now, this loser is taking the plot forward with her desperate ways. Shanzay sole mission in life right now is loser lrke ke dil se ekloser lrki ko nikalna! Yashma Gill’s acting isn’t helping either, it makes it even harder to take the character seriously.
Abdullah’s Promises
Although Abdullah is being extremely unfair, gullible, and foolish at the moment, understanding why he is letting the loser and the manipulator get the best of him is easy. He made a promise to Mahjabeen and tonight he also promised Shanzay that he will marry her. He has always been shown as someone who gives in to pressure easily. He is in love with Mahjabeen therefore promising to be with her was something that came straight from the heart. He made that promise to Shanzay simply because he was being pressurized left, right and center! Bilal Abbas’ expressions said it all when he made the promise! He is like a child who is being forced to do something he does not want to do.
Abdullah’s decisions and actions have been frustrating but everything he does is always in line with his character unlike Shanzay who is simply not the same person anymore. Sarwar once again played a major role in convincing Abdullah that he had to marry Shanzay. Shanzay’s father played his part as well! He is back to being the ‘cool and unreasonable’ dad! Abdullah does not want to leave Mahjabeen and if given a choice he would never marry Shanzay. In my opinion, his character is way better than all those other male leads we see in such dramas who are intelligent people yet they fall for the other women like they are naive. At least, in this case, we know that Abdullah has certain weaknesses and Sarwar knows how to manipulate him.
Mahjabeen Is a Darling
Mahjabeen’s scenes tonight were the best part of this episode. Right now she is the wisest and the most likable character in the play. She can sense what is going on and like a good wife she is trying to do whatever she can to please her husband. Even though she can be so sensible at times, she can’t help saying the most inappropriate things! I am glad that the writer retained the innocent and spontaneous part of her personality because without it Pyar Ke Sadqay would have been difficult to sit through at this point.
Mahjabeen’s dua was the highlight of this episode. The way she reconsidered what she asked for made me laugh so hard. It was a nice way of asking Allah to help her by doing something not-so-nice to Shanzay!! Yumna Zaidi nailed this scene, she is amazing as Mahjabeen.
What Is Mansoora Thinking?
Mansoora made a brief appearance in this episode but his scenes suggested that she was thinking about something. The scene in which she was shown sitting on the table with the papers in front of her made me wonder if she was doing something in the background that might prove to be a game-changer. I am waiting to find out.
Final Remarks
The preview of the next episode was promising, I really hope that the story takes a different turn next week. Mahjabeen will finally speak up and it seems like Mansoora will be back in action too. This episode had quite a few scenes and scenarios that made little sense but even then Mahjabeen and Abdullah kept it engaging enough. In one of the scenes, Abdullah mentioned that Mahjabeen knew about Shanzay’s proposal and in the next one Mahjabeen was asking about Shanzay’s marital life, that was confusing! I am looking forward to the next episode and despite the shortcomings, I am enjoying watching Pyar Ke Sadqay.

“I was in school when a competition by Pantene was held there. My aunt told me to put in my name there and I did. I was underage so I ended up as the first runner up. It was there that I met Akif Ilyas and Fahad of (citrus talent) who suggested that I should act,” shared Ayeza.
Ayeza further added that later after she did an ad, did she receive her first offer. “I did an ad for Warid with Reema. It was after that that I was approached by Nina for Hum TV, who only remember me through my ad.”
Ayeza Khan’s career has seen a sharp incline after her marriage to actor Danish Taimoor. However, even before that Ayeza Khan had stunned with her performances in various plays. Her recent drama Meray Paas Tum Ho won Ayeza critical acclaim for her role as Mehwish.

Recently, news went ripe that actor Naveed Raza had tested positive for coronavirus. Naveed Raza, his daughter and his wife all suffered from the disease but have now thankfully recovered. And after recovering as a service to the nation and considering his responsibility, Naveed and his wife shared how they recovered from COVID-19.
“The fatality rate of coronavirus in Pakistan is only 2% which means 98% of the people suffering from coronavirus in the country are recovering,” shared the husband wife duo, adding that they had felt mild symptoms without the high fever.
Naveed and his wife both shared how they had completely lost their sense of taste and smell completely. “Our daughter showed her symptoms on the 8th day after testing positive. She only got a slight fever and flu,” shared Naveed.
Naveed stressed that his family had closely monitored each other and their oxygen saturation and heart rate. “My wife had breathing problems so had to nebulize her. We also religiously used calcium supplements, herbal teas, steam and also kalonji. We avoided antibiotics and all sorts of excessive medication,” shared Naveed.
Lastly Naveed shared that no two person show the same symptoms therefore “it is extremely important that you monitor yourself and get help with your symptoms.”
