By now, married has married more times than any other celebrity in Pakistan but what’s wrong with her marriage is that she never admits about it. Maybe, that is her secret of staying under 30 in even during her 40s. Salman in Bollywood claimed in Koffee With Karan a few years ago that he was virgin and that made us raise our eyebrows. I mean a 50 year old virgin? But atleast he never gets married secretly and then denies ever doing it. But Meera isn’t Salman Khan, so she can do it. It was after very long that Meera was in news because of her work. Yes, she is headlining Saqib Malik’s first film Baaji with Amna Ilyas, Osman Khalid Butt and Mohsin Abbas Haider supporting her with significant roles. But being in news for her job is boring for her. So, here she is in news again for her marriage with Attiq ur Rehman.

She filed an appeal at a Lahore session court earlier this month. It challenged the family’s court decision which had  taken place in May of this year stating that she was  Attique ur Rehmans wife and the nikahnama was genuine despite her claiming it to be fake . Apparently, court has rejected her appeal as her lawyer did not show up and Attique’s lawyer claimed that it only proves that Meera is his client’s wife and she has no evidence to prove it otherwise.

In India, they have Taimoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s baby son who is the most papped baby ever. In here, we may have many babies but there is one that can give strong competition to Taimoor is Taimoor’s son. I mean Danish Taimoor’s son with Ayeza Khan, Baby Rayan Taimoor. His teeth have just started to grow and boy does he look cute? Rayan just turned one year and his parents have given him a big birthday party already.

Little Rayan was accompanied to the party by beautiful mama Ayeza Khan who looked beautiful in black. Chaudhary Aslam Khan is one of the bravest officers we have had in Pakistan. The courageous man fought against terrorism and was martyred by the terrorists in Karachi in 2014. With about an experience of 30 years behind him, he challenged the terrorism prevailing in the biggest city of Pakistan and fought with it without thinking about himself or his own life. With a large number of movies coming out from our industry, biopics are also a popular genre. We have already seen biopics on the lives of boxing champion Hussain Shah and one on the life of Zenith Irfan which was released this year.

Now we will be watching a film based on the life of brave Chaudhary Aslam. Supermodel Zara Abid is the first name who has been finalized for it. This will be Zara’s film debut in the industry. Maula Jatt 2 is in news ever since it has been announced. It is going to be Waar fame director Bilal Lashari’s second outing as a filmmaker and it’s huge star cast makes us look forward to the film. The film will also mark Fawad and Mahira’s return as a romantic pair after Humsafar which proved to be a milestone in their career. It also stars Humaima Malik and Hamza Abbasi. Although, it seems to be a big film but one more big thing that can be associated with it is the controversy of copyrights infringement.

While the film has seen multiple delays and was announced long back, according to the team it will finally see the light of day on Eid ul Fitr 2019. I hope they do not delay it any further. Sometime ago director Bilal Lashari had shared that neither is it a sequel to Maula Jatt nor is it a remake. He also said that it is not even named Maula Jatt 2 at all. We wondered what else was it then?

Apparently, the producer of the original Maula Jatt has taken a stay order to stop Maula Jatt’s release as the film is his intellectual property. He said, “Had they seeked my permission, I would have considered giving them rights but they didn’t and it has disappointed him. He continued that the case would be fought legally as they have all the certificates and documents.

We can only hope that it might get released in time and everything is sorted before its release.

Although, she has said that she is waiting for the right script to come her way. She said that the two were in a relationship during their college days but had to end it because their education was  being affected. But with time they grew apart and Sarwat married someone else.

She shared that she is venturing into television production, “I’ve been thinking about what I would want to see as a viewer and I don’t see much of it today which is why I think I’m going to eventually start producing. Earlier we reported that Imran Abbas was in the US celebrating his birthday with his industry best friend Reema Khan but now he’s back in Pakistan. Brace yourself before we tell you what’s latest about this handsome actor. So it was initially said that Imran Abbas was doing Ram Leela. He had also said no to Aashiqui 2 which he also talked about in Sameen Peerzada’s show. He had also rejected a part in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Aishwarya Rai-Hrithik Roshan starrer Guzzarish. It was later played by Aditya Roy Kapoor.

But now according to Gulf News, what we hear is that Imran has been offered a new film Bollywood. It will be directed by Abhinav Shiv Tiwari. It is going to be an independent film. Although, Imran has not confirmed the news but there are chances that he may say no to this film as well due to the ban on Pakistani artists in India.  We can only keep our fingers crossed.

Imran is also a part of an international project called The Trojan Horse. He is  interested in starting his own production house, too. His drama Koi Chand Rakh opposite Ayeza Khan and Muneeb Butt is currently running on ARY Digital.

Well, we all know about the history of clashes between Pakistani governments and their institutions happening one way or the other. Pakistan is in a very tight space economically and we need help from the neighbouring countries and friends to come out of this. Since taking the office, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has been trying his best to take the country out of this situation. He has visited some friendly countries and has signed deals to help Pakistan cope with the economic crisis.

In wake of these events, the Prime Minister is in China to sign some deals and help to further strengthen the economy. During his address, the National channel of Pakistan PTV broadcasted his address with Begging written on it instead of Beijing. This was counted as an error as it was aired for some seconds before getting corrected. Now the managing director of PTV has been removed due to this. The decision was approved by the Minister of Information, Fawad Chaudhary. Here is the notice:

Pakistani feature film Cake had a very different vibe overall. The film had a strong script, beautiful cinematography and some of the very best performances. The story of two sisters who are entangled in the web of this world and its complications, Cake since its release has made a mark with the audience and critics alike.

Cake has screened at several places and has been a favourite since its release. The new achievement came when Cake won the award for the Best Feature Film category at the South Asian Film Festival held in Montreal. Adding another feather in its cap, Cake has also been sent as a submission for Best Film In The Foreign Language category for Oscars. The final results will be out in January.

The other film that became the recipient of an award is Salam-The First Nobel Laureate. It is a documentary made on the life of Dr. Abdus Salam who is the first Pakistani to win an Oscar and that too in the category of Physics.

Both the films have achieved big and are totally deserving for the accolades they have gotten!

Karachi Se Lahore is a successful film franchise after Jawani Phir Nahin Ani and Na Maloom Afraad. It is funny and always manages to make bucks at the box office. The original cast starred Shahzad Sheikh, Ayesh Omer, Shahzad Sheikh, Javed Sheikh, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Yasir Hussain and Ashir Wajahat. The film successfully returned with the second installment featuring Saba Qamar oppossite Yasir Hussain in the lead roles.

It was announced sometime ago that the film would return with its third sequel called Karachi Se Lahore 3. Kubra Khan was to star opposite Farhan Saeed in the lead role. But we reported lately that Farhan Saeed has said no to the film. He said, “I would never want to commit to something I can’t give my full attention to.” Farhan is apparently busy with the concerts but here is the twist in the story. While Farhan says he has said no to the film, Wajahat Rauf has something else to say.

Wajahat has denied that Farhan was ever a part of the film. He said that the team was in talks but he was never finalized. Wajahat said “We are still searching for an actor for the role and will be announcing the complete cast in a few days time.” Our bad that we won’t be able to see Farhan in films anytime soon. Let’s see who gets the lead part in the film, now.

Karachi Se Lahore was one of the first few films that kept the revival of Pakistani Cinema kept going. It was a sweet light-hearted film which was liked the by the people as well as critics. It told a story of a couple who realize their love for each other when they head from Karachi To Lahore. The second installment marked ace actor Saba Qamar’s debut into feature films. It told a story of Moti played by Yasir Hussain beyond Lahore.

Sometime ago, the third installment was announced with Farhan Saeed and Kubra Khan leading the film as the original cast comes back. But seems like Farhan is not doing the film anymore. He said, “I was offered the lead in Karachi Se Lahore 3 with Kubra Khan but unfortunately I had to opt out because of my music tours and concerts that I had already committed to.

He continued, “I believe that an artist must pour his/her heart and soul in every project, and I would never want to commit to something I can’t give my full attention to. The decision to not go ahead with the project is because of my clashing dates. I wish the team good luck and wish they do really well.”

Sameena came on Sanam Baloch’s morning show and she talked about everything. She started from her childhood, her meeting with Osman Peerzada, her ambitions of doing chartered accountancy, her foray into arts and of course how could she not speak about her most loved possession? Her daughters. Sameena has two daughters, Anam Peerzada, the older one and Amal Peerzada, the younger one.

When her second daughter Amal came into this world she asked the doctor about the gender of the baby and she recalls the the Dr said the warmest thing she could ever hear. The doctor said that the most precious gift a mother can give to her older daughter is a younger sister. Sameena said that it made her day.

They were four siblings and after their parents’ separation they all grew apart for some reason. She said she is a kind of a person who would always keep everyone tied in relationships. I was told to avoid gym if I want to keep my arm.”

He continued,”I hated every second in bed just eating and lying down! I made up my mind that when I get out of bed, I will be in a better state. I started walking again 2 miles daily! I believe in the law of attraction and positive energies that actually gave me the will to achieve my goal and got me where I am today. Otherwise, it was impossible. During this situation, I went through a stressful breakup. I cannot forget that night where I was in a state of depression. Eventually, the #LawofAttraction helped me alot in achieving my goals. Aditi Singh is an Indian actress who made her debut in Pakistani industry with Javed Sheikh’s Wajood. The film did not do well on the box office due to extreme competition but Aditi visited many shows to promote her film and make quite a fan following in Pakistan too. Aditi said that the debut in Pakistan is her step towards going global and she wanted to do more projects here if she could get.

Aditi is now all set to perform in another Pakistani film and this one will be an item number. The upcoming film which is titled as Chaa Jaa Re is a sports film and Aditi will be seen shaking a leg in the movie. This will be the second project for Aditi after Wajood and let’s see if she gets more and more movies in Pakistan or not!
