Selahaddin Eyyubi is a grand period series co-produced by Pakistan and Turkey. Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Dr Kashif Ansari, Ahmet Faruk Bakacak, Dr Junaid Ali Shah are the producers of the project Saelahaddin Eyyubi.

The Project is a period series like Magnificent Century or Ertugrul which will be based on the life of Muslim leader Sultan Selahaddin Eyyubi. The grand making of the project had already been started in Turkey with magnificent set of Damascus city. The set has been constructed on 200 acres area. The Mosques, Bazaars palace and houses are being build in it. The grand set is giving vibes of older times. The set makers briefed that they have been doing paper work for the project since last four months. They also said that the Mosque they have made for the series will remain active even after the shooting will be ended. The mega production drama has a huge cast and crew. The 24-year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Pakistani activist, Malala Yousafzai tied the knot on Tuesday with her long-time partner Asser Malik in a private Nikkah ceremony at Birmingham in the United Kingdom (UK). The activist shared pictures of her intimate wedding ceremony on her official social media handles.

For the ceremony, Malala wore a traditional ensemble by a well known Pakistani clothing brand “Zaaviay”. Malala’s Nikkah attire was from Zaaviay’s formal collection “Haniya”. Our very own Bhola and our favorite actor, Imran Ashraf, is finally making his big cinematic debut with the Mohammad Ehtehshamuddin directorial film Dam Mastam.

The film will be produced by Adnan Siddiqui and has been written by actress Amar Khan, who is also playing the lead opposite Imran Ashraf in the film.

While talking to Reviewit about his film debut, Imran Ashraf shared, “My character has a lot of performance margin and I will again try to bring across an acting oriented hero in this film. It is a strong script and Mohammad Ehtehshamuddin as the director has me excited already. Although I had a lot of film offers in the past, but perhaps this was it so I said yes to Dam Mastam, which I hope turns out to be a good entertainer.”

Sharing more about the film, Imran Ashraf added, “Dam Mastam cannot be classified into a single genre. It is a romantic comedy but also an intense drama and an emotional love story.”

The music for the upcoming has been composed by Shiraz Uppal, Azaan Sami Khan, Bilal Saeed and Shani Arshad, raising the bar of our expectations already high.

There have been a lot of speculations about Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s wedding dress ever since she got married to Mahmood Choudhry last month. Recently designer Wardha Saleem was spotted in an interview with BBBC Urdu. “Neither did we use a gold wire nor did we put in diamonds on this dress,” said the designer Wardha Saleem, laughing as she spoke to BBC Urdu.

Wardha said that her brand uses the most decent designs for bridal dresses. She revealed that Bakhtawar’s bridal dress contained the most high-quality and decent material from local markets in Pakistan. “Bakhtawar’s chiffon was handmade locally. As a brand, we make use of the best local material [for bridal dresses] available in Pakistan,” she said.

When asked whether she felt nervous on designing the dress for Bakhtawar’s big day, she said it wasn’t true. “You can say we were excited and not under pressure,” adding that the team enjoyed working on the dress knowing how much confidence Bakhtawar had on their brand. Wardha referred to Bakhtawar as a “dream bride” for any brand, saying that in the very first few meetings held between the two to discuss the dress, Bakhtawar told them that she didn’t have any doubt on their capabilities.

“We did hold a few discussions on the customization of the dress,” she said. “However, Bakhtawar never interfered in our work. It took 45 craftsmen to work on Bakhtawar’s bridal dress, they spent a massive 7,000 hours in making the dress. The reason why this dress took so long is because it is handwoven and we used the finest material available. We worked on it for 7 months and for two to three months, we worked double 24 hour shifts,” she added.

Wardha mentioned that after one or two meetings, our approach was so strong that anything else wasn’t needed. “It often happens that when bridal dresses are being made, clients often ask their designers to send them pictures of the dress. However, I personally think this happens when clients do not trust their designers. I think another reason this happens is because everyone has dreams about his/her big day and they want everything to be perfect. However, Bakhtawar wasn’t like that at all and trusted us completely,” said Wardha.
