Currently, Pakistani nation is mourning the huge loss of the comedy king and the amazing performer Umer Sharif. His death has made his fans sad across the world. We have seen a lot of prayers, wishes and efforts from everyone following his health and now after his death.

Recently, his first wife Mrs Deeba Umer Sharif talked about her husband. She has conveyed a heartfelt message for the people who came forward to extend their unprecedented support in this difficult times.

She thanked a few people who made special efforts including Murtaza Hashwani , Ahmad Shah, Malik Riaz, Reema and Tariq Shahab. She also thanked Sindh Government and Imran Khan. Talking about Umer Sharif’s fans, she said that she can’t thank enough, she said that she’s praying for those who prayed for her husband. Deeba said that people prayed a lot and all the people extended their overwhelming support but despite everything Umer has gone which was Allah Almighty’s will.

She further said that Umer Sharif needs everyone’s prayers now more than before. She said that he is being given bath and may all his sins wash away after that and may Allah grant him ease here after. She urged people to pray for Umer Sharif while crying. She also said that she didn’t forget the death of her daughter and now she had to bear this huge loss. She urged everyone to pray for Hira Umer Sharif as well.

Deeba Rizvi is a Pakistani film actress. She was born on 1 August 1947 in Ranchi district of Bihar in India . She was one of the leading film actresses during the 1960’s and 1970’s, well known for her romantic and tragic roles in Urdu and Punjabi films. Deeba Rizvi started her career as an actress in “Charagh jalta raha”. She received a “Nigar Best Actress” award for the Punjabi film “Sajna door diya” in 1970. Her smiling face and innocent look have given rise to the description “Pakistani Mona Lisa”. 

Deeba married camera man Naeem Rizvi in 1971 and left silver-screen for 10 years. She has been blessed with three children, two of them are also a part of media industry. However, financial hardships made her join film industry again in 1987 as character actress. 

Recently Deeba Rizvi got “Pride Of Performance” award. Her son Imran Rizvi shared some pictures of her mother while receiving the award.

Recently two films which were to come out were postponed including Project Ghazi due to technical issues and and Chain Aaye Na for getting a lot of backlash on its trailer. Now release date for another movie is announced.

Madiha Imam has managed to sink teeth into most of the roles she has done and ‘Dear Maya’ is no different. Her Bollywood debut film Dear Maya hit the theaters on June 1st and received positive reviews from the critics but opened slow at the box office.

Dear Maya got a low opening at the box office India, and managed to grab only Rs. 1.2 crores on Friday. According to Indian trade analysts, the film can perform better at the box office in coming days. However, the fate of Dear Maya is still uncertain.

Dear Maya follows the tale of a lonely woman who gets pranked by two teenagers, who make her believe that she has a secret long lost admirer! It is directed and written by Sunaina Bhatnagar and produced by Sandeep Leyzell starring Manisha Koirala, Madiha Imam and Shreya Chaudhary in the lead roles.

De Ijazat Mujhay is a new serial starting from Monday 13th October, to be aired each Monday and Tuesday i.e. twice a day in a week. Written by Seema Ghazal, directed by Faheem Burney, the show stars Sohai Ali Aabro, Farhan Saeed and Yasir Ali Khan in lead roles. Jal band fame singer Farhan Saeed is working for first time in a major drama serial.

Earlier former members of Jal band Gohar Mumtaz and Atif Aslam have also acted and now its Farhan Saeed’s turn to test his acting skills.

On 14th Sept,2013 Berger Paints Pakistani Limited organized a fashion show that was a huge success for Pakistan Fashion Industry. Famous designers Mehdi,Asifa & Nabeel and Fahad Hussain’s designs were displayed at this show.

This fashion show was held in Pearl Continental, Lahore. Dayan is a drama airing on Geo TV. The show has big names like Mehwish Hayat, Ahsan Khan and Hira Mani but its overdramatic style and extra-filmy story is what is making it a hit with the audience. The show is going through the revenge plot now as Nihaal is back as Misha and she is now executing her plans with banger music playing in the background.

Shabab was poisoned by her sisters-in-law and Misha took this opportunity. She made a video while the poison was being mixed but still served the tea to Shabab. Shabab nearly died but she is now back and Misha has shared the “report” of poisoning with her. She went ballistic and got her sister-in-law Zakia arrested. Zawar Shah was not even able to save his sister.

Dayan is a popular prime time drama serial on Geo TV, written by Fatima Faizan and Amber Azhar. It has been directed by Tere Bin fame director Siraj Ul Haq. The drama is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and is considered one of the grand productions of Geo Entertainment. The cast includes Ahsan Khan, Hira Mani, Mehwish Hayat, Osama Tahir, Shamil Khan, Sohail Sameer, Zainab Qayyum, Afsheen Hayat, Nayyar Ejaz, and Nida Mumtaz. So far, 29 episodes of Dayan have aired on Geo TV. In recent episodes, Nihal undergoes plastic surgery and a complete transformation and returns to Zawar Shah’s house as the nanny of her own child, Hunain. Surprisingly, no one in the household recognizes her. In the latest episode, even her mother fails to recognize her which sparks debate among Dayan viewers, who feel the creative liberties taken by the makers have become excessive and unrealistic.

Dayan viewers are quite angry at the makers for fooling the audience with obvious execution flaws. Many didn’t even buy Nihal’s mother’s blind reaction upon meeting her daughter. A social media user wrote, “Have they all gone blind? Are they suffering from black cataract that they’re unable to recognize Nihal?” Another commented, “A mother should be able to recognize her daughter immediately. She didn’t even know she had died — and they live in the same house. A daughter’s look can change, but not that much.” One viewer remarked, “She is easily recognizable, yet the mother doesn’t even recognize her own daughter. It’s a slow and poorly written story.” Another fan added, “Does makeup and a hairstyle change make a person look so different that even their real mother can’t recognize her own child? Zil e Huma is the daughter of the legend Noor Jahan. Her son Ahmed Ali Butt is also a big name in the industry today and he is a host, actor, and rapper. She is highly respected due to her mother Madam Noor Jahan and her work in music. Zil e Huma had four sons. Her eldest son Muhammad Ali Butt and his wife Ayesha Ali Butt run a very successful homegrown business in Lahore and she is known on social media as Ye Ghar Ka Hai.
