Fawad Khan is the talk of the town right now as he is back on Pakistani television. Pakistan Idol is the show that has brought some great music talent to the forefront. Many talented singers are performing on the show. Fawad Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zeb Bangash and Bilal Maqsood are in the judges panel and they are giving good critique to the performances.

Pakistani award shows have not really evolved much since they started happening consistently with Lux Style Awards. From past ten years he was working with Geo TV, though for a short duration he also joined ARY television. Aamir Liaqut Hussain also served as minister of religious affairs in the cabinet of former dictator General Parvez Musharaf, after being elected as Member of National Assembly in 2002 on ticket of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). However MQM revoked his membership after his alleged television program against a religious minority.
On television Aamir Liaqut Hussain got fame mainly from programs of religious content like Naats,Aalim Online, Ramazan Transmission, Special transmission on Shabe Miraj, Shabe Barat and Lailatul Qadr. He also hosted a game show named Inaam Ghar earlier this year. As per Geo TV all these programs and transmissions made records of viewership and television ratings, some made records at Pakistan level while some were Asian records. Aamir Liaqut was part (host) of eight hour transmission of Geo News which targeted Pakistan Army and Secret Agencies in April 2014, which caused suspension in license of Geo News.
Aamir Liaqut is son of Begum Mehmooda Sultana (Ghosia Begum) and Sheikh Liaqut Hussain while his Grand Father (Naana) Sardar Ali Saabri was also active in Pakistani movement. Aamir Liaqut also heads a welfare organization named Mehmooda Sultana Foundation named after her mother. Aamir Liaqut is married to Bushra Aamir and has one son and one daughter who live in Dubai.

Express media house might be successful in news field but its entertainment channel has not been much successful to attract viewers. Maalik is an Urdu film released on 8th April 2016. The film screened for three weeks before formally banned by first the Sindh Censor Board and later the Federal Censor Board. The producer and director of the film Aashir Azeem went to High Court to challenge the ban where the hearing is still in progress.
Aashir Azeem the producer/director of the film announced to release the film outside of Pakistan on 26th August 2016, in Gulf Countries (UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain), Australia, New Zealand and United Kingdom.
However as per Urdu Daily Jang, the Federal Ministry of Information, Mass-media Broadcasting, and National Heritage has ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to stop any effort to export the print of the film abroad. In order to screen this film outside Pakistan its print must be exported following the due process. But this new order of the Federal Ministry of Information will impact the planned screening of the film outside Pakistan.

Maalik (مالک) is an Urdu film released on the 8th April 2016. The highlight of the film is the comeback of Aashir Azeem to almost after two decades. Aashir Azeem earned fame from the PTV Quetta center drama Dhuwaan (دھوّاں) in 1994.

A gas leakage caused explosion in a house in New Karachi area of Karachi, killing one child and injuring six others.
The magnitude of the blast demolished the two-story house. According to area residents, people are forced to use cylinders due to gas shortage in the area.
Some people used to collect gas by connecting the lines coming in the cylinder. At night, the gas accumulated in the cylinder and got filled in the house, which caused an explosion.
Nida Yasir invited an eye specialist Dr. Harris Shehzad to her show and asked questions which were very helpful for those people who wear lenses. The expert at the show shared that there was nothing wrong with using lenses regularly. He said that lenses can be used for up to 10 hours daily provided that the people using the lenses take proper care that they are being used properly. He shared some tips which are easy to follow and can prevent eye infections and other problems.
Dr. Harris said that the best option was to use disposable lenses, the ones which can be used daily and discarded. If this was not possible then the person using the lenses should ensure that they are used for only as long as it is prescribed to use them. Over using the lenses after their due period is one of the main reasons people get eye infections. He also said that the minute a lens starts irritating, it should be changed whether or not the time period has passed.
He also shared an incident in which a female patient slept with her lenses on and as a result she got such a bad infection that she could completely lose her sight.
