Famous Pakistani film industry actor Ejaz Durrani dies. Ejaz Durrani was Madam Noor Jahan’s ex husband. They together have three daughters Hina Durrani, Shazia and Nazia Ejaz. He was a big film director and producer as well. He worked from 1956 to 1984.

Madam Noor Jahan was a part of his production house for a longer time but later on the couple got divorced. Ejaz Durrani was the first ever hero who had a diamond jubilee film to his credit. His song Wanjhli walarhea was super famous. He is mostly known for his film Heer Ranjha.

The Drama serial Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin which is based on human trafficking has recently received a notice form PEMRA for showing content which is not according to the standards set by PEMRA. Yumna Zaidi who is playing the central character in the drama has finally opened up about the notice issued by PEMRA to Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin.

“Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahin is a very special project. The aspects on which the makers have thrown the light are very important and we need to talk about them, we should think about them. I don’t understand that how PEMRA issued a notice on content. Whenever I do a cause-based project I just think that it will be the “Sadqa” of my acting I don’t look at other things. I have already mentioned it. But it made me very upset that what does the team of PEMRA wants to allow. If we don’t talk about the issues of government schools, streets and villages then we will just watch the news and it will be a piece of real news that this happened to a boy and it happened to a girl. If we are making content on something just let it go through at least” Yumna continued “We cannot always make saas-bahu serial we also make romantic dramas and when we give shelf space to so many things, some little space must be given to it as well”
