“Is it, Ekta Kapoor? Then yes, she approached me and we talked about it once. Nothing went further than that. I have never thought of a biopic [on me] though there are a host of sports biopics being made. If there is time, then someone will make one on me. Hope people would be interested in seeing the film.”

Even though I did not have any expectations from this play but after watching the first episode, I was expecting it to be fast paced. Unfortunately, the story is moving forward slowly and some of the minor details leave me baffled every single time. Apart from that, there are some glaring flaws in the screenplay as well. The way Hamza and his friends ‘manhandle’ the ladies is not okay or cool!! Although the overall feel and theme of the play is filmy but showing these boys grab the girls and drag them wherever they want is completely uncalled for. Apart from this, Roomi’s complete aloofness when it comes to her sister’s frame of mind makes her come across as insensitive and dumb – which she is definitely not! Whatever happened to Siddiqui sahab’s illness? His illness has been used as an excuse, a majboori because of which Hamnah went ahead with the nikkah but after that no one even talked about his medical condition. Azeem’s character is still a mystery and at this point, I am feeling for him more than anyone else.
Hamza and Hamnah
Hamza and Hamnah’s sweet romance and love has not been given enough screen time. There are times when you feel that Hamnah is more scared of Hamza than she is in love with him. This mad love and ishq could have been translated on screen in a less aggressive manner. The way Hamza confronts or even interacts with Hamnah at the university campus is simply unrealistic. Hamza comes from an affluent family therefore this must be a well-reputed university with proper rules in place, watching Hamza getting away with bullying everyone and not being held accountable for it, makes no sense! The way he tore that page out of the register was simply unacceptable and watching him walk out and creating a scene after that was just plain ridiculous. Hamnah has wronged Hamza but there are times when you understand why Hamnah is scared of him and did not have the courage to share what was going on in her life.
In the beginning Hamza came across as the cool kid who took his love for Hamnah really seriously but after watching this episode it seems like he is just plain mad! Feroze Khan is definitely being typecast – Gul-e-Rana, Khaani and now this drama – all the characters he played were more or less the same. I would love to see him in a role which is more balanced. In Dil Kya Kare, he was another extreme. Hamnah has hardly any dialogues and her expressions remain the same in every situation since she is going through hell and that’s it! Ramsha Khan is a solid performer but so far the character she is playing hasn’t given her the opportunity to showcase her acting skills.
Roomi and Rest of The Characters
Roomi’s character is fun and cool but when she simply fails to acknowledge her sister’s feelings, she comes across as insensitive. Not once have we seen Roomi trying to figure out exactly what is wrong with Hamnah. Although she is a happy-go-lucky person who does not believe in falling in love but there is definitely a caring side to her personality as well. These sisters are close to one another, they share a room and they did share some jokes and emotional moments as well. The way these characters were introduced suggested that this was a close-knit family but apart from Hamnah’s mother, no one is bothered about Hamnah’s sudden silence and her passive mood. Azeem is another extreme who I hope would start noticing that his wife is not happy with the marriage! The scene covering Azeem’s meeting with Hamnah in the university was strange! Last time I checked, there was no such waiting area or ‘visiting facilities’ for students who were not living in the hostel. This scene did not work for me at all.
Alishba’s character and this track has done-to-death written all over it. In every other drama we have a good looking, educated girl from an affluent background who is so desperate to marry the hero that even after he gets married, she would gladly wait for the divorce so that they can finally be together!
Final Remarks
Tonight’s episode had some really important developments to its credit but they were not handled well at all. The characters have not been fleshed out properly. The background score at times can be excessive but there were some scenes tonight when the background score helped me understand what Hamnah was going through. The flashback scenes are not enough to make the viewers understand what Hamnah is thinking. It seems like Hamza will turn in to Mir Hadi after all! I am waiting to find out more about Azeem since so far he has been quite ‘patient’!

She has kept the styling more or less the same where she has worn solid colored dresses with some dainty laces and has let the dupattas do the talking. This outfit is yet another example. It is a beautiful plain mustard color flared pishwas with bell bottom trousers. The golden lace is used as a finishing around the neck, on her sleeves and around the waistline as well as chest. The red jamawar stripe has also been added on the sleeves and the main article of clothing taking this dress to another level is the gorgeous dupatta. This dupatta is pretty similar to the white one but it is in mustard color. It is very obvious that the designer chose all these gorgeous dupattas and then made the outfits complimenting them. This dupatta also has gotta detailing all around the 4 borders and the bold pattern catches the eye.
The Turquoise Blue Dress:
What makes the entire wardrobe choices of Sarah Khan interesting in Deewar e Shab is that she has played with all the colors and has probably worn every basic color there is. The fact is that there’s not even a single color that has not looked good on Sarah Khan because all these beautiful colors have complimented her gorgeous skin tone to perfection. The jet-black hair also stands out a lot more against these different colors and makes her look stunning. Sarah Khan has worn this beautiful shade of turquoise blue in some of the scenes. It is a simple A line shirt with loose trousers. The delicate silver laces around her neckline and sleeves add a dainty and girly touch to the dress and then comes the beautiful net dupatta. The dupatta has mukaish detailing on it splattered all around, this is why the designer has picked silver lace to go on her shirt. This definitely is Sarah Khan’s color.

Sarah Khan’s wardrobe won’t be complete without a gorgeous black dress being a part of it. She wore this beautiful formal black dress in Gaitiara’s engagement scene. Due to it being a solid colored black dress, the detailing was hard to pick but in some of the moments when light reflected upon the sequins, the different textures and embellishment patterns stood out and showed how much detailing had gone into its designing. It was a beautiful chiffon black dress with self-printed fabric and then a lot of materials were used to add design over it. The sleeves of this dress look beautiful too. Sarah Khan wore a gorgeous shade of pink and it looked beautiful on her. Again, a solid color pink shirt with golden laces. It was a straight shirt that she paired with white churidar. The dupatta turned this simple dress into a semi-formal outfit. The pink sparkly dupatta itself is gorgeous with golden embellishments splattered all over it. The addition of gota tassels is another beautiful detail to it.
The Purple Dress:
This was another simple yet gorgeous outfit of Sarah Khan. All these different colors were not only refreshing to see but made her look beautiful as well. The purple dupatta is very much similar to the pink one. Sarah once again wore a solid colored purple suit with A-line shirt and loose trousers. It was a layered dress with one plain satin shirt underneath and the main article of clothing was the upper shirt with all the heavy designing, patterns and motifs. This is yet another solid colored dress that Sarah Khan wore in Deewar e Shab. What’s interesting about these designs is that anyone can get these dresses tailor made because the designs are simple made with such fabrics which are widely available across the country. Another interesting aspect is that the designer has used the laces to create different styles around the neckline and top portion of her shirts, it adds more variety to the design and stops the dresses from looking similar, despite the fact that the overall styling and theme is pretty much the same. She wore a flared pishwas in solid sky blue color and because the dupatta had silver detailing and lace around it, the designer used the silver laces on her shirt too – yet another example of simplest of outfit looking absolutely gorgeous.
The Bridal Dress:
Last but definitely not the least, the bridal wear of Gaiti Ara was beautiful too. It had bolder bigger patterns but it kind of suited the dynamics of Gaitiara’s life and surroundings. The hair and makeup definitely could have been better because the makeup artist decided to not go heavy handed on the eyes, whereas she had carried the dark eye look throughout the drama, this is the reason she looked a little bare in the minimal makeup look but the dress itself was beautiful. It was a gorgeous classic combination of maroon and off-white with metallic golden designs and embellishment all over the dress. She draped a dupatta on her head and carried the other one as a shawl on the shoulder. The off-white chiffon dupatta had a beautiful self-embroidery on it and it was finished with a beautiful border. The shawl had a beautiful spiral design. The velvet blouse had embellishments splattered all over and the lehenga complimented the off-white dupatta beautifully.

Zara Noor Abbas is playing a lead role in the hit drama serial Ehd-e-Wafa. Her role has been comic for the most part. Now that the story is going ahead, her character is becoming relatively more serious. However, Zara Noor Abbas’ comic timing and her energy as Rani is being loved by the viewers. Ehd-e-Wafa is not one of those dramas which relies on the outer appearances of the characters therefore for the most part there is little focus on make-up. Since Rani’s role is more fun and colorful therefore Zara Noor Abbas has been seen sporting different make-up looks in the drama. This has to be her first drama in which she has sported formal make-up looks since otherwise she does not rely too much on make-up. In her brief appearance in Deewar-e-Shab too Zara Noor Abbas looked beautiful but in Ehd-e-Wafa she made a conscious effort to look her best.

Rani’s first appearance was in her classroom. This first appearance reflected her fun loving and happy-go-lucky personality. Since Rani loves make-up and she makes sure she is wearing plenty of it even when she is home therefore even in the college Rani had make-up on. Every time Rani appears on screen, there is sure to be a lot of colors which represent Rani’s personality. In most of the pre-wedding looks Zara Noor Abbas made sure she wore bright outfits and her make-up too for the most part was pleasantly bright. Seems like Waseem Badami’s show, Har Lamha Purjosh has become the birthing centre for a number of controversies these days. First it was Ali Azmat claiming Ali Zafar organized a hate campaign against the PSL V anthem, next came Sonya Hussyn denying she knew anyone by the name of Faryal Mehmood and now its veteran writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, who simply knocked off claims made by Sonya Hussyn who stated that she had rejected to play Mehwish in Meray Paas Tum Ho.
Answering Waseem Badami’s question about Sonya Hussyn rejecting Meray Paas Tum Ho because of Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s idealogy; the Pyare Afzal writer stated, “Even if she had accepted the role, the final ball would have been in my court because no director or producer can finalize the cast on my script without me having the final say.”
“Sonya Hussyn was never in my books for that role,” Khalil ur Rehman mentioned.
Khalil ur Rehman also stated that Sonya Hussyn hadn’t reached the calibre to do a script written by him. And that the reason she had rejected the script was entirely different to what Sonya said on air. “When Sonya met me in Lahore, I asked her whether she had refused my script and for what. Sonya had stated that when the role had been offered to her, Humayun Saeed hadn’t been cast as the male lead.”
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar also talked about Rehmat Ajmal and her disagreement with his idealogy even after being a part of his drama. “Since the drama had already become a big hit, Rehmat, wanted to earn more brownie points by standing out and making a different point. Had she agreed in the start, it would have been something else, but she promoted the show till the last day, only to disagree later.
Tonight’s episode of Ehd-e-Wafa focused more on Shahzain but just like all the recent episodes, all the tracks were taken forward. The preview of this episode had suggested that there would be a serious threat to Shahzain’s life but it appears to be that this is yet another tactic by him to win the elections. He continues to be the least likeable character and it would have been so much better if just like all the other boys, he too was trying to make a difference. This recent episode was just engaging as the previous few. Shehryar and Shariq’s scene was the most emotional tonight. This episode of Ehd-e-Wafa yet again highlighted how precious true friendships are.
The Friends
Shariq and Shehryar’s conversation in the beginning showed that Shehryar didn’t completely trust Shahzain. His observations about Shahzain’s constant attempts to take control made perfect sense. Shariq however has always been the one who has given Shahzain the benefit of the doubt. Shehryar continues to be the most level-headed character in the play but his emotional side takes over every now and then. While handling Shahzain’s case, he was completely blinded by his association with him and did not look at things objectively. His final decision was based on whatever he heard everyone saying as opposed to gathering concrete evidence and deriving conclusions from there. Saad called to ask about Shahzain even though he too had a lot to deal with at that time. Basically all the scenes covering their friendship went to show how special their bond was. It was sad to see that Shahzain was taking advantage of the situation. While talking to Waqar and his father, he made it quite clear that Shehryar had his back. Although he knew only too well that Shehryar would never do him such favors. At the same time, he used Shariq to give him the media attention he needed. All the conversations clearly showed that Shahzain had failed as a politician but was bent on contesting another election.
Shariq and Shehryar’s scene was the best tonight. Through this scene, the viewers found out how their friendship started and how far they had come. Shehryar for the first time talked about Masooma and the viewers found out how guilty he felt. Although, it was apparent that he felt guilty the day after he told Masooma off but this track was not given enough screen time until now. Ahmed Ali Akbar yet again performed exceptionally well and Wahaj Ali was equally convincing in all the scenes.
The Love Stories
Saad and Dua’s love story has taken a new turn after marriage. Dua has to be the brave and patient wife who will have to endure a lot since she married an army officer. Dua is also expecting her first baby, a development which confused me about the timeline. I find myself rooting for this couple and would like to see Saad and Dua together till the end. Raani’s love for Shahzain has only grown and even though he has his flaws but clearly Raani accepts and loves him for who he is. Raani has always been shown as a strong and confident woman and now she is using her strength to protect her husband. Shahzain it seems is not only fooling his friends but he is lying to Raani too and in a way using her!
Shariq and Ramsha are going to get married soon! This definitely came as a surprise since they always came across as good friends and there hasn’t been a single romantic moment which covered this love story. Shehryar finally told Shariq about Masooma and the preview of the next episode showed that Shariq is going to help them get together…definitely waiting for that to happen.
Final Remarks
With Shahzain’s latest plan, the story yet again has taken a turn which could lead to SSG’s break up one more time! If Shahzain really is lying and he planned all this to get the voters’ sympathy and to make sure that Waqar and his father supported him then he truly does not deserve good friends or a wife like Raani! The scenes covering Saad and Dua’s track in the preview were well put together since it was difficult to figure out what is going to happen next. There have been so many dialogues which suggested that Saad will get martyred but I really hope that does not happen. Tonight’s episode of Ehd-e-Wafa laid the foundations for what is coming ahead, I am waiting to see where Shahzain’s track is headed.

The opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 was a big flop. People were highly disappointed with the below-average opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony was directed by Indian director Shubhra Bhardwaj and along with her 132 Indians are also in the organizing team.
PCB hired Indian organizers for managing PSL and this is trending on Twitter. People are furious about hiring Indians to organize a Pakistani event.
Waqar Zaka took to twitter and raised his voice. He posted a video and captioned, “We need a reply #PCBJawabDo , open ceremony k liya why Indian? Why they will make Pakìstan look big on international scene ? @ImranKhanPTI @TheRealPCB @ArifAlvi sharam karo indian k sath selfies , why u r so accessible for Indians?”
In his video message, he said, “I got to know something about PSL and I want to show you a list in which there is not even a single name of Pakistani.”
“I am saying, in today’s time when people from media are not having jobs. I am asking from the Government of Pakistan that why these Indians came to Pakistan?”
He questioned, “Have you forgotten the incident of Kashmir?”
He further added, “Our artists have been thrown out from India, they are treated badly in India. Just think the problem of Kashmir is going on and no Indian will want that any Pakistani event must get hit.”

Famous brand Gul Ahmed has come under fire after copying the designs of different artists. First, they copied designs of artist Shehzil Malik who is a proud feminist and designer.
Shehzil Malik posted, “Ah, today its Gul Ahmed who have stolen my artwork. One is literally my display picture on their kurta, the other is my Brown is Beautiful artwork. Are these design teams not aware that they are stealing from a local artist? I am at a loss.”
The renowned brand later apologized and took down the clothes from their collection. They issued an official apology and promised fair compensation as well.
The controversy does not end here another artist Ali Gul from Gul Khan Truck Art posted another case of plagiarism. Gul Khan Truck Art is well-known for producing design for home decor brand that represent beautiful cultural artwork of Pakistan
Ali Gul took to social media and posted, “Bringing another fresh case of creative plagiarism! Since it is not an Indian copy, the brand decided to copy our logo as is (because it’s a Pakistani brand and they are powerful) on one of their signature series without taking our consent or even having the courtesy to give us any credit for inspiration at all.”
He accused that Gul Ahmed has copied their logo and wrote, “Our brand, Gul Khan Truck Art Art is an endeavour to revive truck art locally and internationally, we have put in tremendous amount of effort in bringing it to an acceptance level. Gul Ahmed has copied our logo and printing it on their clothing line! Only we know what it has taken to build it! The creative and production team at Gul Ahmed has simply copied it! Not only this is ethically wrong but it also is a food for thought for all of us, why can’t we come up with original aesthetics! I’m sure Gul Ahmed is paying handsome salaries to the teams behind this, but it really is a question mark on their competence.”
He further added, “It’s highly disappointing not only from creative aspect but also for a mainstream brand such as Gul Ahmed to not be able to follow ethical practices and diluting SMEs efforts. Such a disgrace! We want this removed and demand a written apology before we take it up legally! Just because it’s a small brand does not imply we do not have voice! Please help us in anyway possible! Share so at least there is a direction for setting ethical practices and stopping creative copy paste!”

Ohkay so, how do they do this every single time? Giving the viewers one amazing episode after another. This episode for me was like a full fledged, complete, wholesome package where they covered so many aspects thoroughly. The lowest of Husn e Jahan to a similar situation that Qalb e Momin & Momina are faced with. The thing that I have always loved about the story of Alif is that in every single situation, there’s a similarity between the characters & their tracks & it rang true in this episode as well because just the way they showed Husn e Jahan’s downfall, they were also showing the downfall of the personal equation that Momina & Momin shared. Brillianttt!
This Episode Belonged To Kubra Khan & Saleem Mairaj
I usually give credit to the actors & performers at the very end of every review but I feel like I can’t wait any further, therefore I will start by saying that this episode belonged to Kubra Khan. In every single scene, she conveyed the emotions of Husn e Jahan & took the viewers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions – from emptiness of a mother to half-hearted attempts of an actor – they showed it all & Kubra Khan conveyed all the emotions phenomenally. As much as I was getting irked by the coverage Mumtaz Begum was getting in this episode, I was totally in awe of all the scenes of Kubra Khan because she showed what Husn e Jahan was going through. Well done Kubra Khan!
Sultan started off by filling new pages for Momina & he decided he had to close the chapter once & for all. Husn e Jahan made the right decision because as a mother & as a selfless mother at that, she once again put Momin ahead of her. She never wanted to part from her only son, but she had to because she knew this was what’s best for him. The entire conversation covering the concepts of Halal & Haram earnings were impeccably written by Umera Ahmed – those dialogues were not only realistic but soulful & the kind which actually is going to leave every single viewer pondering upon them.
Sultan always had an answer to every single question of Husn e Jahan, sometimes he would give her a false hope, sometimes he would uplift her morale by encouraging her & negating the general notion of people around her but for the first time, Sultan couldn’t figure out an answer to Husn e Jahan’s question ‘beti ko Husn e Jahan banaoge Sultan?’. Indeed! Sultan could not even think of it but yes, it did highlight the fact that for Sultan, this field & everything related to it was purely based on hardwork & for him, he got paid for his expertise – therefore he never really put much thought into it & did not approach it with the same perspective as Husn e Jahan because he never felt the need to. As far as Husn e Jahan was concerned, she had an awakening & this is why, everyone around her was finding it hard to understand where she was coming from because they were stuck in a rut & were pretty satisfied with the kind of life they were leading. That entire conversation, I repeat was soul-stirring & simply perfect!
The scenes that covered the pressurizing of Mumtaz Begum were very important to showcase how Husn e Jahan’s mother did not leave any option for her than to go into hiding by faking her death. As much as I did not enjoy those scenes, I totally understood their purpose because nothing in Alif has been purposeless or has been included without a reason. Those scenes showed the build-up that was making it very hard for Husn e Jahan to survive in that environment. Husn e Jahan’s mental & emotional state was deteriorating, she was already traumatized by the fact that she had to send Qalb e Momin far away. The scene that came right after Qalb e Momin left where Husn e Jahan spoke about doing few scenes in the film to earn some money caught my attention because it was so evident how empty Husn e Jahan’s eyes were, like she was done crying for her son, however she was not over it yet she was just trying to move on & do what was expected from her.
This entire episode also showcased the pressures Sultan faced & how he stood by her side, through thick & thin. That one moment where Sultan invites Husn e Jahan to his place, it was as if he almosttt confessed his love to her but he couldn’t bring himself to say that & the way Saleem Mairaj acted in that scene, especially those minute expressions – this episode actually belongs to Saleem Mairaj as well. At that moment I felt for him a lot, it was like he knew Husn e Jahan was already in pain, so he didn’t want to add more to her woes. He was enduring everything coming his way but nothing could waver his support for Husn e Jahan. Surraya’s conversation with Sultan was actually very sweet too because it showed how big hearted she was to not only acknowledge as well as accept the fact that her husband was in love with another woman & she didn’t have any problem with that because she could see how hard things were for him as much as they were for Husn e Jahan. It is interesting how the journey of Sultan started off as someone who was just a side character but it has now evolved into one of the most substantial characters at this stage of the story because he is the only person who can untangle the ties of the past & give a clear picture. It looks like Sultan is still keeping his promise, even after so many years of Husn e Jahan’s death. He is still not letting anyone know that Husn e Jahan didn’t die & he didn’t kill her – she chose to go into complete seclusion so that she could live her life on her own terms.
I am so glad after covering so much of Husn e Jahan’s journey & showing such an intense scene of Sultan & Momina where he broke down in front of her, they immediately changed the mood & then the rest of the episode focused on Momin & his feelings for Momina. It was such a shift in the mood & kind of made things easy because the scene was strategically & intelligently placed right after such an intense scene where Momin’s misunderstanding was cleared. I loved how there was a tone of humor in that scene too because Daood was hesitant but still decided to be blunt about Momin’s behavior & Momin was probably for the first time embarrassed at his irrationality
Momin’s In Loveee
The entire scene which showed Momin’s developing feelings for Momina was absolutely beautiful. While listening to the soundtrack, he couldn’t get her out of his mind, those flashbacks – the way they were used actually brought a smile to my face. It was so sweet to see how Momin was missing Momina & couldn’t stop thinking about her – about all their interactions from bitter ones to the good ones & those moments where she took his breath away because she looked absolutely gorgeous. For all the hopeless romantics or probably hopeful romantics too – that scene definitely is going to be their favorite – it was my favorite from this scene as well.
One Word: Brilliant
This episode of Alif has changed my mood completely & I am actually feeling so happy, I don’t know if this is how I should be feeling after seeing Husn e Jahan’s pain but I am glad that the misunderstandings are clearing up. The preview also promised a meeting between Sultan & Momin, which I am sure is going to be intense & will be making everyone await the episode eagerly. This episode was not only brilliantly directed but the crisp & to-the-point editing has also added more charm to Alif. The way they play with the emotions of the viewers by switching between the scenes, changing the mood is absolutely brilliant & makes it such a wholesome experience. The dialogues overall in this drama have been meaningful & soulful but the ones in this episode especially were on some other level. Thank you Umera Ahmed for shedding a light on these sensitive yet important subjects in your dramas. This episode definitely belonged to Saleem Mairaj & Kubra Khan. Yes, at times it is very difficult to understand & decipher the dialogues of Husn e Jahan but while watching this episode, I thought to myself that this kind of dialogue delivery sets Kubra Khan apart & it makes her acting unique. She is very much in her element but has given her absolute 100% to this character. Saleem Mairaj won the viewers over with his measured acting, especially those minute expressions which showcased Sultan’s despair & his helplessness of not being able to say a word to Husn e Jahan about his feelings for her – simply brilliant. PSL host Ahmed Godil came under fire after he gave a statement that he was not allowed to play songs of Ali Zafar at PSL opening ceremony. In his interview, he supported Ali Zafar and also said that the harassment case on him was never proved.
After his statement in favor of Ali Zafar, Ahmed Godil has been suspended by PCB. He has released a video and wrote, “Congratulations everybody! Jeet gaye ap log.”
“We have truly failed as a nation! Thank you PCB for this humiliation and not being man enough to own all the faults and mishaps and then telling me not to even clear my stance on the controversy created because of you! Wow, how cool of you!”
Godil said, “Doston, Aj se ek awaz hamesha hamesha ke liye bund hogayi! Allah Hafiz.”
In his video message, Ahmed Godil said, “I am officially not part of PSL and PCB. I have just have one question that this big ceremony was just done by Ahmed Godil?”
He shared, “Blame those who did this. I have become a victim of cyberbullying and when I needed my organization to which I worked for 2-3 years, that same organization has suspended me. Now, the same organization is asking me about my interviews in favor of Ali Zafar. Why shouldn’t I do this?”
“I am an artist, I am a host and Alhamdulillah people have always appreciated me for my work,” PSL host added.
He blamed the organization for not giving him the whole script and not informing him about his performance.
In the end, he requested people to support him in his difficult time as his career is ruined now.

Back in 2015, when actress Faryal Mehmood was a new comer and a tad bit overweight (more than the trending heroines of the industry) she was subjected to a lot of mean comments and bullying by directors and actors of the industry. One such example is when actress Sonya Hussyn and director Sohail Javed, made fun of Faryal in an open chat on social media and Faryal tossed them the same bait answering their meanness in the same tone.
Faryal Mehmood’s new drama serial “Bechari” had started on PTV Home and Sohail Javed and Sonya Hussyn criticized Faryal’s character openly.
In the same chat, Sohail Javed and Sonya Hussyn used abuses for Faryal Mehmood who highlighted them by sharing on her social media.
Faryal then put Sonya Hussyn and Sohail Javed both in their places by calling tem out openly.
This whole spat resulting in Faryal Mehmood quitting Farwa Ki ABC. However, things eventually died down and both Sonya and Faryal continued with their career.
But now it seems, a bigger controversy is about to arise, as only yesterday we saw Sonya Hussyn refusing to acknowledge she knew anyone with the name of Faryal Mehmood who existed in the industry. The very same Faryal who she had made fun of openly on her social media.
Perhaps Sonya did this delibrately to avoid saying anything about Faryal or maybe she does not want to acknowledge her existence as Faryal recently replaced Sonya in Faysal Qureshi’s Sorry: A Love Story. Faryal is yet to reply to this pretense put up by Sonya Hussyn. As bold as Faryal is, she is also rather mature and a very sensible actress. And maybe she’ll just let it go, and not roast Sonya about her deliberate pretense.
Who doesn’t know about West Indies cricketer Darren Sammy? Well, he is one of the most loved international cricketers in Pakistan.
The famous cricketer is all set to become an honorary citizen of Pakistan next month. He will also receive the Highest Civilian Award by President Arif Alvi.
A Twitter post by PCB Media reads, “President of Pakistan Arif Alvi will confer the highest civilian award and honorary citizenship to Darren Sammy on March 23 for his invaluable contribution to cricket in Pakistan.”

Darren Sammy is the first-ever cricketer to receive the honor. This request of the honorary citizen was pushed by Peshawar Zalmi franchise owner Javed Afridi.
Javed Afridi requested the President to consider Sammy for honorary citizenship because he is the most devoted cricketer and loved by all.
The West Indies Cricketer is currently in Pakistan to participate in the Pakistan Super League 2020, where he is leading Peshwar Zalmi.
