The reason behind deleting his Instagram account is that he is going follow a path of spirituality. Alizey Feroze Khan, who is wife of Feroze Khan posted a picture with her husband and wrote, “May this spiritual journey brings more faith in your life and serve the purpose.”
On the work front, Feroze Khan is soon to make his silver screen appearance in the upcoming film Tich Button. The film will release across Pakistan on Eid ul Fitr 2020.

Shabnam Majeed revealed the reason that her husband has a connection with his ex-wife and it is difficult for Shabnam to live with him anymore.
The pictures of Wajid Ali with his ex-wife has gone viral. After 14 years, Wajid Ali is again in love with his ex-wife and this is why Shabnam has filed for khula.
“I am upset over the fact that my husband is in contact with his ex-wife. Their pictures together have also gone viral,” Shabnam Majeed said.
The singer further added, “I am mentally drained and it is difficult for me to live with my husband anymore.”

Hina Javed shared, “A heartiest congratulations to my lovely sweetest sister and an amazing actor @sanajaved.official on winning the best actress award for her outstanding performance in drama serial Ruswai. The hard work you put in to portray the character of a rape victim that showed the pain and struggles they go through was so convincing that whoever watched it felt that pain as well. May Allah grant you all the success and happiness till the end of time. I love you.”
The Ruswai actress thanked her sister and replied, “I love you thank you so much. Couldn’t have done this without your love and support thank you for always being there for me my cutest sister.”

When it comes to women, I feel like women are getting targetted in media.”
Mubasshir Luqman said, “It is not gender-based whether it’s male or female’s picture it is wrong.”
Juggun replied, “Women are getting targetted one after another video is being leaked. These girls have their families. Being a woman it is very difficult for me to digest that anybody releases their own private pictures. I can’t believe it.”
According to the host, People are fond of videotaping themselves, people are fond of getting the photograph, they want people to see them and when they realize that these things have an adverse effect then they sort of step back.
On which Juggun replied, “When people make their name in media they do it after a lot of hard work. You know that we earn when a good brand comes to us we earn a lot and no brand takes such people whose private videos and pictures have been leaked. So no actor or actress destroy their career by their hands.”

Iqrar-ul-Hassan did not make it big purely by chance. He actually always had the desire to do something that would earn him both respect and fame. He was completely clueless as to what he was going to do in life but he was sure that it was not going to be anything run-of-the-mill. Iqrar also was a great debater, that is something he excelled at right from the time he was in school. When he joined Government College, Lahore, his debating skills were polished even more and he got a much bigger platform to showcase his skills. From there on, Iqrar was not just another student. He became a known debater not just in his own institution but all around. That was the first step towards making it big and that urge has not gone even now.
Interest In Singing
Apart from debating, singing was also Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s strength. He used to sing just as much as he used to take part in debates back in his college days. According to him, he was so interested in polishing his singing skills and was so keen in the field that his parents were constantly scared that he might end up pursuing it as a career. Since there was great pressure from the family that he should not even think on those lines therefore perhaps that was never an option for him. Otherwise, there was a chance that perhaps he could also be a singer.
How He Met His First Wife
Iqrar-ul-Hassan was a student of 4th year when he met his first wife Qurat-ul-Ain Hassan. Iqrar was asked by one of the private schools in Lahore to coach their debating team when he was a student in Government College, Lahore. When he went to coach the team there he met Qurat-ul-Ain who was at that time teaching in that school. These two did not even talk for weeks after they met for the first time but gradually they started chatting and then when Iqrar used to go to coach the students, they got a chance to spend more time with each other.
Iqrar and Qurat-ul-Ain both had great interest in Urdu literature therefore initially their conversations centered around Meer Taqi Meer and other leading Urdu poets. This was the common area of interest. In the beginning Iqrar respected Qurat-ul-Ain more than anything else because she was a teacher and he was only a student. At that time, Iqrar did not even believe in falling in love. His definition of love changed when he fell in love with Qurat-ul-Ain and they got married.
6 Months of Hard Work at PTV
Iqrar was a student when he applied in PTV for the post of a newscaster. For 6 months every day he had to sit for hours and practice how to read the news. He was accompanied by other experienced newscasters who sometimes guided him and at other times, he simply sat there and practiced without anyone even paying attention. He was not paid for this at all. There were many people who questioned him and wondered why he was putting himself through this ordeal. Iqrar wanted to do whatever he could to get his big break and therefore he persisted. Eventually he got a job as a newscaster at PTV after 6 months. Even then, the first time he was to go on air, he was so scared that he wanted to run away. Iqrar believes that all the training at PTV helped him later on with his career. He only used to get paid 250 rupees for reading one bulletin in PTV which was not enough but he thought he needed to start from somewhere.
Joining ARY
Iqrar joined ARY when they asked young people to audition if they thought they had what it took to take up the job of being a newscaster. Out of 1000s of people who applied, only 2 were chosen from Lahore and Iqrar was one of them. At the same time, the auditions were being held in Karachi and that is when Waseem Badami was among the candidates who were chosen for the job. That is when Iqrar’s career took off and he instantly got a job in Dubai which paid off well too.
He Always Wanted a Daughter
Iqrar-ul-Hassan and his wife always wanted a daughter. When his wife was expecting her first child, both of them had already decided what they were going to name their daughter since it was their wish that their first born should be a girl. However, when they found out that they were going to have a boy that is when they decided that they were going to name him Pehlaaj.
Believes In Equality Among Men and Women
Iqrar-ul-Hassan was raised in a household where boys and girls were treated equally. Iqrar’s sisters were never expected to serve him food or even iron his clothes. He was an independent teenager who did his own chores. This is the reason why Iqrar firmly believes that men and women are equal. He believes that it is not a woman’s responsibility to do the house chores but men should also contribute. When Iqrar and his wife were residing in Dubai, they used to divide household chores since his wife too was working. Iqrar used to cook and do the dishes. Iqrar-ul-Hassan revealed in a latest interview that he was offered a lot of commercials by leading brands but he rejected all these offers. Apart from the extensive work Iqrar is doing for ARY and on his own, he also recently started his own business. He bought a franchise of a famous restaurant and brought it to Karachi. Iqrar still feels that there is so much more that he needs to achieve. He says that for him, this is only the beginning. Pakistani International Screen Awards 2020 happened last night in Dubai. Many Pakistani celebrities were spotted at the red carpet and were really excited about the night full of fun and glamour. The ceremony aimed at honoring some of the most deserving Pakistani artists in the entertainment industry.
Along with celebrities, many fans were there to support their television heroes at the awards. Many of them gave a breathtaking performance on the stage and stole the limelight. Those who miss the awards night, here is a list of winners from last night:
Ohkay so, this was one of the best episodes of Alif. It was all about experiencing the emotions that Qalb e Momin & Momina Sultan were going through. This episode was more like a feeling, something that has to be just felt & absorbed. It was magical, it was beautiful, it was like this artistry & a beautiful painting that one just looks at completely mesmerized.
Momin & Momina’s Equation
Momina has moved on but it seems Faisal the opportunist is trying to rekindle her feelings for him. All of a sudden, Momina has made Faisal proud, another instance where Momina was forced to see Faisal’s true colors & yes, she did not waste any time in reminding herself about the things that she had heard from him back then. More than Faisal wanting to tell everything to Momina, it seemed he was actually trying to learn whether he still holds the same place in her heart or not. Momina’s cold response did send him a message loud & clear but the Faisal that we know is obviously going to come back & try harder.
The shooting of Alif began & Momina started seeing Qalb e Momin in a completely different light. Slowly & steadily, her perspective about Momin is changing & she is unable to figure out what is it that is drawing her closer to him. Momina is focusing on her project, but it is also a fact that she appreciates Momin’s presence. She notices how his eyes are locked on her. Momina knows that just the way she sees Husn e Jahan in herself, Momin was also seeing Husn e Jahan’s memories coming to life every time he looks at Momina.
Qalb e Momin was also unsure why he was unable to draw a difference between the fact that she was Momina & not Husn e Jahan. The bitterness that Momin & Momina had towards each other had subsided but now, they were growing comfortable with each other’s presence. Momin was going out of the way for Momina & she was liking the attention. Momin settled everything by apologizing, it went to show that he had changed & he actually regretted his past decisions. Momina has moved on, the fact that she gets to see the difference in Momin firsthand has also helped her a lot with her decisions. The dialogue where Momina stated that she doesn’t live in the past seemed to be coming from the misery that she has seen her parents facing due to Jahangir’s death & not being able to come out of it. She has seen what living in the past does to you, maybe this is another lesson that Momina has learned from Jahangir’s death.
Momin would’ve never thought that all that Momina would settle for would be two white roses. Momina has also accepted Momin’s feelings but there’s a lot that’s left to be said. At this point, Momina feels sympathetic towards him because she knows the miserable life that Qalb e Momin has led as a child. This has allowed her to feel for him. Momin has no idea that he doesn’t need to carry a facade in front of her. She once again beautifully tried to ask him whether the boy in the script was Qalb e Momin, but he didn’t give it away. It was interesting to see Momina knowing about all the things Qalb e Momin was keeping from her!
Momina & Master Ibrahim’s conversation ended up being a turning point in Momina’s behavior towards Momin. She learned that she was being judgmental & probably harsh in her approach towards him, it allowed Momina to bring a shift in her perspective. Umera Ahmed should be given full credit for time & again shedding a light on the fact how people should be more focused on themselves rather than going around judging people for what they don’t know. Momina who sees Master Ibrahim as a practicing believer was shocked to see him admitting his mistakes & being afraid of judging someone else. This changed Momina’s thinking. Their conversation was absolutely sweet & all the scenes of Momin & Momina that followed were equally beautiful too.
Magical
This episode of Alif was more like a feeling. It was magical & I still have a smile on my face because it was absolutely sweet. The chemistry of Hamza Ali Abbasi & Sajal Aly was phenomenal. It was understated but still obvious. The way they looked at each other & smiled was absolutely sweet. Sajal Aly looked as beautiful as a dream in this episode in particular, no wonder why Qalb e Momin could not take his eyes off Momina. Hamza Ali Abbasi & Sajal Aly’s performances in this episode where so much had to be conveyed with just facial expressions were exceptional, they made it so easy to understand all that was running through Momin & Momina’s minds. It was a treat seeing their relationship evolve & grow. The preview did suggest some rough patch though which I am dreading but I am sure that’s going to add more depth in their equation. Haseeb Hassan has directed this drama like a dream. Every single frame, every camera angle beautifies the scenario & then the way he has captured the emotions of the characters, it is phenomenal. Pakistan International Screen Awards 2020 were held in Dubai last night. This was the very first time these award functions were conducted. It is unfortunate that they were surrounded by controversies where the organizers didn’t give up a proper protocol to a lot of celebrities who they committed to bring to UAE to make a part of the event. A lot of renowned celebrities accused the organizers of PISA 2020 for false advertisement. However, a lot of celebrities joined hands to make this function a success.

Hira Mani wore a blingy straight gown with a slit to PISA 2020. Hira Mani is new to these award functions and this is why she is exploring her styling and getting comfortable at the idea of making a statement. This time around, her outfit was beautiful and not over-the-top. It was a simple straight gown which sat beautifully on Hira’s frame. Pakistan International Screen Awards were conducted for the very first time. They were held in Dubai, UAE on Saturday February 7, 2020. This marked the beginning of new award functions to celebrate and acknowledge the work that the Pakistani entertainment industry has been producing. The beginning of these awards wasn’t ideal and it surrounded many controversies. A lot of famous celebrities came to the forefront and spoke about how the organizers kept them in the lurch and after using their names to promote the show, they did not get back in contact with them. The organizers however went above and beyond to create the hype of the award functions and also circulated the pictures of some Pakistani celebrities who were flown to Dubai on a private jet. A lot of celebrities were not a part of the event but there were quite a few big names who not only attended but participated to make these award functions successful. What the future holds for these award functions is still a question mark, however a lot of famous Pakistani celebrities gathered to make the very first PISA Awards a star-studded event.

Went Over-The-Top Only To Look Bad?
Meera Jee wore not one, not two in fact three outfits throughout the event. It goes to show that she was ready to go through the hassle to make a statement but she couldn’t. She wore a peach gown designed by Aleena and Fareena when she was leaving for the award function. This satin strappy gown was absolutely unflattering on her. She wore another outfit for the red carpet which was a creation of Asma’s Collection. It was a blingy jumpsuit topped with an overall, which she draped over her shoulders, again this pick did not do any justice to Meera Jee’s personality. Meera Jee wore a red saree during the award ceremony, which was probably the only outfit that complimented her. Apart from her Red Saree, the other two outfits were a poor choice. Meera Jee also went for a very nude makeup look which did not suit her at all. A pale foundation, minimum makeup on the eyes and nude peachy lipstick didn’t look good on her and made her look like she had bouts of vomit due to food poisoning right before the event. Wrong Shades of Yellow!
Someone should seriously ask how Momina successfully makes every color look bad? Momina went for an unflattering shade of golden yellow. It was a partly off-shoulder gown which only accentuated her waistline. Momina looked uncomfortable walking with such a heavily flared gown in almost all the videos of the event that circulated on social media. Momina has gone a bit too lighter with the hair color which makes her look washed out and is not a good look on her. She looks like all the shades of yellows poorly merged together on a paint palette. We look forward to seeing Momina on one such event where she will not be making a desperate attempt of copying a Barbie Doll because she is past that age. Better luck next time Momina!

Scourer, Towel or a Blanket?
Noor Khan is usually one of those gorgeous young girls who can rock any look. She has a perfect height and physique to do justice to flared long gowns but not sure what went wrong. The maroon gown was a hybrid of towels and blankets? Or maybe it was made to look like a scourer so that the gown could also sweep the floors clean as she walked. Maybe Noor Khan was feeling cold so she decided to pick up the warmest fabric to save herself from the flu and fever? Just a lot of maybes that pop in our head everytime we see Noor Khan. For an actress so young and gorgeous, not sure why she went for this look. Better luck next time Noor!

Ushna Shah hit two birds with one stone. We are pretty sure after the event was over, she draped this gown over and slept peacefully because it was made out of a blanket. Ushna’s hair and makeup was basic but done right, she looked gorgeous however, the bustier of her gown was too tight and she was seen adjusting it every second as she walked the red carpet.Must have been uncomfortable, we are sure. Slitty Saree
Sadaf Kanwal wore a Sana Safinaz saree with a modern twist to it. There was a huge slit on the side of her saree which gave a room to her legs for easy walking. The overall styling that Sadaf opted for was tacky. It seemed her hair and makeup was rushed and she didn’t have much time on her hands to properly dress up for the event. Her silver saree was draped lousily over her and it just wasn’t a good look. Better luck next time Sadaf!

Zaid Ali has reiterated that he loves to make people laugh and smile no matter what he does. We are pretty sure this was the thought that ran through his mind when he got an invitation to attend PISA 2020. He definitely contacted Mama Bear and asked her for a spare bed sheet stored in one of the trunks at her place and voila! This is how his suit came into being. In a recent interview, Sonya Hussyn put the entire blame on her stylist for dressing her up for the award functions. She stated that if it was for her, she’d show up wearing Shalwar Kameez. I guess, it’s about time that Sonya walks the talk, wears a shalwar kameez on award functions and before doing that, fires her stylist who makes her look this bad at every event. What is exactly happening on Sonya’s head? She looks like a 2D version of herself in a tightly draped retro saree which actually looks unflattering. It looked like Komal Rizvi was ecstatic after she got an invitation for PISA 2020. She decided to do everything she has ever wanted to on an award function but she ended up doing too much. Her outfit was unflattering and just not right. A heart-shaped cutwork on her bustier and ruffled netted bottom? There was also a break in the ruffles so that the plain net could break the monotony of the design, it is unfortunate that the designer put so much effort into making this gown work which was just not the right piece to begin with. Komal also went for an extended double wing liner, too desperate I see. Better luck next time Komal!

Alyzeh Gabol also wore a creation of Sana Safinaz. It is hard to believe that one after another bad designs that made it to PISA’s worst dressed list came from Sana Safinaz. The only good thing about the dress was the color but other than that, it was an eyesore. The silhouette was of such sort that made it very confusing to figure out the anatomy of Alyzeh Gabol. The tissues ruffled on one of the shoulders was also a disturbing look. Better luck next time Alyzeh!

Butler In Town
What is actually happening on Umair Jaswal’s coat? The green patched borders on the coat are catching the eye but for all the wrong reasons. He looks like he is very proud of looking like a properly dressed butler and for his dedication, he scored an award. Umair Jaswal should also try to experiment with his hair, this Johnny Bravo hairstyle has been out of fashion for more than a decade. Aima Baig wore a dazzling and sparkly gown to the PISA Awards but it looked like she didn’t go for the final fittings before the event, because it was clearly not her size. Aima did try hard to downsize it by buckling a belt around her waist but the neckline, the sleeves, the shoulders, nothing sat well on her petite frame. It was a sparkly velvet navy blue gown which looked too much for Aima to handle. It was a bit mature choice for someone as young as Aima and the fact that she went for a casual styling with her basic hair and makeup also didn’t harmonize the overall look. Ali Zafar is someone who knows what looks good on him and he usually always picks up such outfits that he carries with grace but this was so not that case at PISA 2020. Grey plain trousers, white dress shirt, black bow-tie and blue velvet coat? What is happening? So many colors merged into one outfit makes it look like all of these pieces were just mixed and matched to give Ali Zafar something to wear the very last minute before he had to show up at stage for his performance. Fauzia Amaan wore a plain black saree which was a creation of the infamous Umar Sayed. The saree itself was made out of a plain black chiffon but the piece that was supposedly going to amp up her look was the crows nest that she draped around her shoulders. Zara congratulated all the artists who won the award and apologized to those who were unable to attend due to mismanagement.
The Ehd-e-Wafa actress shared, “A cup of coffee and a few thoughts. First of all my heartiest congratulations to everyone who won an award lastnight and enjoyed a show with their fans in Dubai lastnight. And my heartiest apologies to everyone who was not there lastnight and felt disappointed and disrespected for their names being used and commitments not fulfilled.”
She talked about how artists are sensitive towards these matters and said, “Artists all over the world are extremely sensitive people like myself and take everything to the heart. They love being loved and love entertaining people with their art and craft. However, I would urge you all to be more compassionate to each other as fellow actors and support each other in what we all do for the love of our country and art.”
She went on clarifying, “Everyone who travelled here had no clue of who would be eventually present here or not present here. We all as a fraternity will always stand together in the good the bad and the ugly. Award shows and get togethers like these are a celebration of art and our industry as a whole. Let’s all respect that and also respect each other’s opinion.”
Zara Noor Abbas also requested people to stop comparing celebrity looks from the awards show. “And hey, let’s stop comparing to who wore what and how better they wore it. Who showed skin and who showed a personality. Let’s all welcome diversity and differences.”

After a long time, perhaps maybe after more than a year, we have a film’s teaser that has amazed us right from the word, Go! Yes, we’re talking about none other than the teaser of upcoming film “Tich Button” that has made us go wow. Although we don’t know the gist of the film yet, but the cinematography looks amazing and of course the cast nail their parts, as it appears from the teaser.
The teaser shows Sonya Hussyn paired opposite Feroze Khan while Farhan Saeed and Iman Aly play the second couple. The male leads appear to be brothers or best friends while the female leads too seem to be sharing a close bond. The film’s location spans the gorgeous locales of Punjab in Pakistan and Turkey.
The one dialogue delivered by Farhan, “Suna hai jab pyar hota ha Banda aapey se bahir hota hai,” gives us a hint of action in the film as well. After having seen Farhan Saeed nailing comedy and romance, it would be good to see him in action as well and judging from the few shots in the teaser, we’re sure, Saeed won’t be a disappointment.

The Pakistan International Screen Awards aka PISA 2020, was held yesterday in Dubai. The management team of PISA has received severe criticism for mismanagement and disrespecting celebrities.
Many stars including; Nabeel Zafar, Osman Khalid Butt, Ali Safina, Nadia Afghan, Ahmed Ali Akber were nominated first and then the management team failed to make travel arrangements for them. Celebrities came forward and slammed the team of PISA.
Yasir Hussain took to Instagram to share his opinion regarding this matter. He requested the team to be more organized and next time facilitate all the nominated stars.
Furthermore, he also requested celebrities to be more understanding as this is the first time PISA is happening in Dubai.

In a rather sad turn of events, veteran Pakistani actress Nighat Butt passed away on Friday 7th February 2020, after a prolonged illness.
According to reports, Nighat Butt had fallen severely ill after her husband’s death four years ago and had been living in extreme poverty. Nighat Butt, although had been promised aid from the government time and again but nothing had worked out in this regard. Following her poverty, Butt, couldn’t even pay the rent of the house she had been living in.
Nighat Butt had been severely ill since a few years and finally succumbed to death on Friday, 7th February. The showbiz industry has expressed grief and shock over the sad demise of the veteran actress. Butt has been laid to rest in Lahore.

On first November it happened with me till then to now I am praying five times a day. Apart from this, I am praying in many other ways,” she said.
She talked about her new hobby and shared, “I have started doing calligraphy, I didn’t know how Allah gave me this idea. I also do painting which I used to do for a very long time. My painting has improved by the grace of Allah.”
Rabi Pirzada also talked about how FIA is dealing with her case and said, “FIA assured me that two people were from Lahore and there was a total of six people from Pakistan and they were paid. There were more people in Dubai and they were paid too. Those people detected these people. FIA also said to me that, ‘Rabi do not go in detail as it can be threatening for your life’. So, life is dear to everyone. Those people who did it and those who still have it and share the data I am not going to take any action against them. I am out of all this and now their case is in Allah’s court.”

A horde of celebrities, the likes of Adnan Siddiqui, Hareem Farooq, Umair Jaswal and Hira Mani amongst others have already reached Dubai and are busy rehearsing for the main event. However, there has been a miscommunication of sorts with a few senior celebrities of the fraternity who were promised to be flown to the venue for the award ceremony.
Nabeel Zafar, Nadia Afghan, Adnan Shah Tipu and even Hina Dilpazeer, actors who had been nominated in various categories at the award show, are still in Pakistan while the organizers of PISA have stopped all sorts of communication with them.
Trying to clear away his and his fan’s awaiting him in Dubai for the awards, Nabeel Zafar recently took to his social media to share how there had been a huge miscommunication and mis-commitment on behalf of the PISA organizers.
“Dear fans and friends,
For the last couple of days you guys saw me being advertised and nominated in an Awards show ‘Pakistan International Screen Awards 2020’ for my performance in Bulbulay. Its a recognition that I feel has been given to me by all my fans who like my work in Bulbulay. I was approached by the organizers through their PR company Bodybeat and requested to attend the show in Dubai on Friday, 7th February 2020. Like me there were many of my colleagues and renowned actors who were asked for documents to travel today. Now suddenly the organizers have stopped their communication and put us in deep confusion as many of you in Dubai have been asking about our appearance in the show. This is total mis commitment as our names were used to promote the Awards show and now such an unethical move by the organizers is simply embarrassing. Such a move is an insult to me and many other artists who were contacted and committed to travel. It will also bring a bad name to our industry specially in front of people who have bought tickets to the show. To all the people who are expecting us in Dubai, Let me categorically inform you all that I will not be a part of the show,” wrote Nabeel on his social media.
Apparently Nabeel isn’t the only one who fell prey to the company’s miscommunication fraud. Veteran actors like Nadia Afghan, Hina Dilpazeer and Adnan Shah Tipu were also scammed. Their names used to market the award show and them not flown to Dubai for the show as it is.
