Case No. 9 was a suspense-filled Pakistani crime drama series that aired on Geo Entertainment. The show was written by Shahzeb Khanzada and directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain, who previously directed Khaie. The series was produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and featured a strong cast, including Saba Qamar, Gohar Rasheed, Amina Sheikh, Junaid Khan, Naveen Waqar, and Faysal Quraishi.

Last night, Geo TV aired the finale episode of Case No. 9, which received an overwhelming response from fans. The actors are now sharing gratitude posts following the show’s success. Saba Qamar, Faysal Quraishi, Naveen Waqar, and Junaid Khan all shared posts after the wrap of the series.

Saba Qamar shared an emotional post in which she said she won both her cases today—one in real life and one in reel life. She referred to Naeem Hanif, who had made accusations against the actor.

Saba wrote, “I won both cases, Case No. 9 and Case No. 0 (Baseless). I am not here to criticize or accuse anyone; I simply wish to share a thought that matters deeply to me.

As a society, we must learn to be kinder and more responsible. Women should be supported in their success, not questioned, disrespected, or brought down by false stories and unverified claims. True progress lies in lifting each other up, not diminishing one another. There was a time when false statements were made about me, followed later by an apology. While apologies are important, we must ask ourselves: should a woman’s dignity ever be compromised in the first place without facts or verification? This awareness is essential. I say this with grace and sincerity: respect for women is non-negotiable. I stood by the truth, and that is why justice prevailed. May we all choose truth, empathy, and fairness. This message comes from a place of positivity, integrity, and authenticity.”

Case No. 9 is a crime drama that has marked anchor Shahzeb Khanzada’s debut as a screen writer. The drama is harsh and close to reality. This is the story of a rape victim Sehar Moazzam and her story tells us what this society does to a rape victim. The show is 8 episodes in and it is raw, hard-hitting and it is also showing how Pakistan’s justice system works.

The latest episodes of Case No. 9 shows a mother and daughter’s heart wrenching reactions after she becomes a victim of rape. The helplessness, pain and trauma portrayed by Saba Qamar and Hina Bayat shook the audience. Women who watched the scene were crying and felt shaken by how real it all looked. Both the stars were able to show how painful a rape victim’s journey is.

Tonight, Geo TV aired the final episode of Case No. 9. In the last episode, Kamran planned to leave Pakistan but was arrested by the police while sneaking out of his house. Kamran was sentenced to 25 years in prison, while Inspector Shafiq and his subordinates, who helped him, were also punished.

Viewers are praising the satisfying closure of the drama. Many feel that Bukhari was equally a culprit and should have been punished. One fan wrote, “Case No.9 was an intense and thought-provoking drama that realistically showed how the justice system can destroy the lives of innocent people. The performances were natural, and the story kept you hooked.” Another wrote, “It was a great ending. It should happen in reality too, so that people don’t commit such crimes.” One stated, “Manisha was the real heroine of Case No.9. Her picture should be on the cover of Case No.9. She was the strongest and most inspiring character.” Fans demanded Bukhari’s punishment as well. A viewer wrote, “Kamran Lawyer should get punished along with Kamran. His court licence should be cancelled, and he should be banned from entering the court.” However, a few viewers felt that the drama ended in fantasy. A fan wrote, “The drama started with a real social issue but ended in fantasy. Kiran providing video evidence made the whole plot feel unrealistic. Those 30 episodes on COURT, Binish, Bukhari, and the police…? In the end, the writer and his wife took all the credit. Unreal, but still, it was a brilliant script.” Read comments:

” I’M MARRIED! ❤️💍

Never would I thought that I would come to Pakistan and fall in LOVE. Not only with a country and it’s people, but one very special individual in particular.

My whole life I searched for him. My soul mate, my companion, my best friend.

Before I came to Pakistan, I surrendered my need to find someone. I made a pact with God, that if I had to spend the rest of my life living for only Him, and loving myself, without needing someone to “complete me”, SO BE IT.

I finally knew deep down that I’m ENOUGH. And I didn’t need anyone to make me whole.

It’s a funny thing surrender; the moment you do, you are gifted 10 times over. Divine says, give up your desire for your needs, for what I have in store for you, is much Greater.

And it was true!

Not only did i find my soul partner, I found my best friend. The one who I will cherish and continue to love more deeply everyday. Someone whom I can share every detail of my life with without guilt or judgment, who challenges me, who continuously pushes me to be a better person. The one who loves me unconditionally and has patience and compassionate grace for my journey. The man who lights up my life and inspires me every single day with his love and actions. Someone who compliments me perfectly.

Our love was written in the stars. There was a subtle familiarity and connection I had never felt and more , it’s as if we had lived a thousand lifetimes before.

In the most unsuspected place I found, a love so rare, so profound. God gifted me you and you to me, to reflect back His Divinity.

To truly find our life’s sacred calling, our souls emerge hearts exalting 💓

My bestest friend, companion, motivator, inspiration, my heart my soul, my LOVE

Fans are of the view that even a (foreign) critic has sighted the amazing chemistry between the two actors but no Pakistani film maker and director cast them together, they cast Mehwish with Humayun Saeed and Fahad but not with Fawad, public demanded a serial of the two actors together. Here are a few comments.

It’s easy, isn’t it? The smile is familiar, no? And the eyes, too. Yes, you guessed it right! It’s Resham.

Celebs’ childhood pictures are always are a treat to their fans, and the same goes for Resham. Her childhood pictures are on social media, and we think she was beautiful even then. All dolled up as a perfect girl of her times, tying a hair band as women used to, with a perfect haircut, depicting her fashion sense for the 90s era.

Born in 1980, Resham is a Pakistani film and TV actress and model. She made her acting debut with film Jeeva in 1995. She continued to work in Pakistani films until the decline of Pakistani film industry in the 2000s. She, then, made her comeback with Swarangi in 2014. Currently, she is acting in a supernatural drama series, Naagin.

Today, Resham has come a long way. Despite her age, she still looks young and beautiful as she was.

Call it her maintenance or fashion sense, she still looks like a young fashion diva, who has more sense than many other young talents in the industry. A western look or a traditional one, she knows how to slay it and she is perfect at it.

Sheheryar Munawar started out in the industry as a leading man and since then we have seen him evolve into a writer, producer as well as a director. Sheheryar is expressing his art through different mediums and people are falling in love with his choices. He is also making good choices with television scripts and his recent stint as Major Usama in Sinf e Aahan warmed everyone’s hearts.

Sheheryar was a guest on Fuchsia where he was asked if he in real life could marry a widow like Major Usama did in Sinf e Aahan. Sheheryar gave a very logical and non-diplomatic answer to it. He shared that it would not matter to him if a woman is a widow if he feels love for her but if there are kids involved in the situation, he would be more careful.

Sheheryar talked very candidly as he said that his answer would not be a polished version of what everyone wants to listen to. He said that when you marry a widow who has children, you have to become a father to the kids and you need to be ready to take upon the responsibility with sensitivity.

Listen to Sheheryar Munawar on if he could marry a widow like Major Usama did or whether he would have reservations:

In our orthodox Pakistani society, the friendship between males and females is still unacceptable. The majority of people believe that men and women can never be friends. The question is asked by many and most of the time the answer remains the same. Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar one of the most famous and controversial writers of Pakistan, who is accused of being a misogynist, recently in an interview talked about the friendship of girl and boy in the light of his experience.

“Always remember one thing and I openly say that there is nothing like the friendship between a girl and a boy, that is a white lie. It is the biggest lie of this world. Both of them are ambushing, especially men” he continued “Those girls who get involved in girlfriend boyfriend activities they bang in walls at the age of 35 or 40”

The interviewer asked “why love has become so low-priced?

“It is being made low-priced. when you started becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, which means the girls have become available. Once girls were not available and they had charisma, you people have lost that charisma” said Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar

After delivering a critically acclaimed family drama with Cake, director Asim Abbasi is now all set to tap the world of web series in Pakistan.

Taking to his Twitter, the director, announced his web series Churails, which as he says will shatter a number of stereotypes in the society.

“Hojayein tayaar, khwateen aur hazraat. Especially hazraat. Jald arahi hain kuch rangeen Churailein, aapki deep-rooted misogyny ki band bajaanay,” states the caption.

Earlier Asim Abbasi shared how it had been a very tough experience for him to create the web series.

“500+ script pages, 150+ locations, 100+ characters, 75+ days of principal photography…. And finally it’s a wrap!
Thank you to everyone who was a part of this insane journey – a journey that broke all of us into a million little pieces, physically, mentally and emotionally. I don’t know if the blood, sweat and tears will show on screen or if the end result will be what we had hoped it would be or if our audiences are even ready for this narrative… But this much I do know:
a) hundreds of people have worked tirelessly for better part of this year, to help craft and visualise this story and I am indebted to each and every one of them.
b) every female character in this series will kick some serious douchebag ass and be shamelessly unapologetic. Just like the good lord intended,” wrote the director on his Instagram.

Currently talking to Images, Asim Abbasi also added, “I am super excited about Churails. It has been creatively such a liberating experience for me, to tell this story as unabashedly as it needs to be told. The web series is expected to release on an international platform, most probably in the first quarter of next year. Cast will be revealed in due time.”

The much-awaited film starring Amina Sheikh, Sanam Saeed and Adnan Malik, Cake is near its release. The official trailer for the film is out and we have to say it looks interesting.
