Ali Zafar said that when he decided to work in Indian movies everyone told him that he will never be cast as the leading man in an Indian film because it has never happened before that a Pakistani plays the role of the hero in an Indian film. In a recent interview the Channo artist stated that,

“Two things that lie at the heart of our nation’s DNA are cricket and music and I am extremely fortunate to live these two passions in this lifetime. As exciting as it is to write, compose and to sing the official anthem for the third time, it was actually quite challenging given that last year’s anthem was such a massive hit,”

He further commented,

“I cannot explain how humbling it was to hear it play from every car, home and in every street when the final came home to Pakistan. In fact, when I was writing it, I wrote the entire chorus based on the vision, hope and dream of cricket returning to Pakistan and we are very fortunate that it did! Dil Se Jaan Laga De has been composed, written, produced and sung by Ali Zafar and is slated for an early 2018 release.

The legal battle between Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi has entered a new phase. Lahore High Court overturned a stay order on defamation case against Ali Zafar filed by Meesha Shafi. Meesha Shafi marked the occasion with a selfie with her legal team.

Ali Zafar has now come forward with a response and calls the new development ” a self-proclaimed victory”. He called the other side criminals and has said that he will come forward with complete evidence:

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is right around the corner. The anthem of PSL just released its official anthem featuring; Ali Azmat, Haroon and Asim Azhar with Arif Lohar.

Ali Zafar has big plans for this year, he has decided that he wants to make himself more accessible to the people of Pakistan who gave him the name he has today. Ali Zafar is going to do that by doing 50 live shows in 60 days.

While talking to Express Tribune Ali Zafar said,

“In the same period I also worked on 4 TV commercials. Music had recently taken the back seat for me but that’s not the case anymore. I am working on my next album which will be out this year.”

Ali Zafar also wants musicians to get together and work on different projects. He also wants to help these musicians reach that goal. He said,

“I want people to get together. Back in the day it was always like that. Musicians, artists and writers would sit together, discuss their work. That culture has sort of waned. I built a state-of-the-art studio in my basement for the sole reason. I call everybody to come, jam and have fun.”

Ali Zafar’s concert in Lahore last week was a huge success. It was attended by 5,000 to 6,000 people. Although it rained at the time of the concert but Ali Zafar and the crowd did not let the weather effect them. Talking to the media he said,

“This is the first time I have ever experienced something like this. While me and my band kept soaking in the rain, we kept on performing for the crowd who refused to leave and kept on dancing. I have never seen so much love — that even in the chilly winter rain, fans would stay to hear their favorite songs. One of the most memorable nights.”

Although he didn’t actually take any names, Ali Azmat did throw shade at fellow singer Ali Zafar and how, if he said something, Zafar could file a defamation suit against him.

Taking to his social media, Ali Zafar, however, didn’t file a lawsuit but gave a befitting and very hilarious reply to Ali Azmat.

“Zindagi mein koi bhee masla ho. #bhaeehazirhai,” wrote Ali Zafar on his Instagram.

“If there is any problem in your life, whether your personal, professional, if your event didn’t go well or your song didn’t do well, you don’t have to blame yourself because its me who is responsible,” quipped Ali Zafar.

“I have bloggers on my payroll. In fact I am behind Trump’s election,” added Ali Zafar further joked, adding how he has been entirely responsible for the hate campaign against PSL songs that didnt work.

Pakistani singer and actor who has drastically improved his acting career in India, Ali Zafar has turned into an irresistible icon with a huge fan following at both ends where lately, one of his Indian fans changed her name after Ali to show her love and dedication towards Ali. As per the reliable sources, it has been found that during a shoot in Bangkok, Ali got severely injured. The character he is portraying in the scene demanded a stunt to be performed and as his duplicate couldn’t be arranged, he decided to do the stunt himself. Ali got hit on his face and was taken to the hospital directly. It was fortunate enough that the damages were trivial and soon the actor was discharged from the hospital. Showing his willpower, Ali got back to the shoot directly and continued to work.

Ali Zafar will soon be seen with Parineeti Chopra and Ranvir Singh in an upcoming high budget Bollywood movie ‘Kill Dill’.

It is about ten years back that Ali Zafar was all known for his singing when his soundtrack ‘Channo’ made its entry in the chartbusters. Ali, who was cherished for his tuneful voice, then gave some playback songs in Pakistani Lollywood movies and after a series of trying luck in different domains, It seems like Ali has finally gotten what he ever wished for.

Ali Zafar is one of those very few Pakistani celebrities who are working with ‘respect’ in India. He was first seen in ‘Tere Bin Laden’, a comedy film where his acting skills as a comedian were first seen by the audience. He then signed a couple of decent movies including ‘Mere Brother ki dulhan’, London, Paris, New York’ and ‘Chashme Baddoor’. The actor has two more films lined up under the title of movie ‘Total Siyappa’ and ‘Kill Dill’.

What is new here is the latest reveal made by a reputed Indian Page where it has been revealed that Rohit Shetty is now planning to make the forth sequel of his ever running Golmaal series. Ali  Zafar has been casted in the said movie along with Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, , Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Tushar Kapoor.

It seems like Ali has finally succeeded in getting into the good books of Yash Raj Films and as per the latest Bollywood reveals, he will next be seen in an upcoming YSF ‘Kill Dill’ which is produced by Aditya Chopra and the cast includes Ranveer Singh, Pariniti Chopra and Ali Zafar.  Making the movie more interesting, this is going to be after a long time that the audience will see a Govinda as the villain of the story. He was last seen doing a negative role in Shikaari.

Pariniti Chopra, Priyanka’s sister has previously done a movie with Ranveer Singh in ‘Ladies versus Ricky Bahl’ and the two are now again ready to make the screen shake with their powerful performances. It would be really interesting to see Ali doing a major role.

The film will be releasing early in 2014.
