Because of the tensions between the two countries, Asim’s song was re-recorded by Sachet Tandon and was featured in the film.

However, Asim Azhar did receive credits for his contribution in the film and was mentioned as an official part of the film’s music.

A video that recently went viral on social media showed the singer cum actor Asim Azhar, a youth sensation, was hurled a shoe at during his concert in Gujranwala, Punjab.

The video that went viral showed a shoe flying towards Azhar but missing him by inches and hitting his guitarist instead. However, nothing was actually clear in the video and one couldn’t really make out what had been thrown at the artists.

Following the incident which took social media by a storm and the troll brigade went to work, Asim Azhar recently uploaded a video clarifying the incident and explaining what had exactly happened.

The video shows a mock performance where something is hurled at Asim as he performs and a fake reporter rushes in as soon as it lands. While Asim realizes its a cap that looked like a shoe, the fake reporter creates sensational news about Asim being hit by a shoe during a concert.

The singer cum actor then clarifies that what landed on him during his performance was a cap that looked like a shoe and nothing else. He further showed his fans the evidence as well and told how the team collected the items that were left after the performances either on the stage or at the venue. Asim called out his fans to look into the matters before jumping to conclusions.

During an interview with HSY,  Asim Azhar disagreed with Hadiqa Kayani being a legend. He said that legend is such a big word and a legend is the one who influences the masses.  This news was spread on social media making all the different meanings from Asim’s statement So Asim took to twitter to clarify the statement that he had made and explained what he was actually saying.

Asim tweeted, “I have recently come across a statement that I made on a TV show recently floating around regarding me not considering Hadiqa Kayani Ma’am a legend. PSL 5 is just round the corner and preparations are in full swing. Following the pre-match hype, like every year the officual PSL anthem was released. Produced by Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, the latest PSL anthem, Tayyar Hain, featured Asim Azhar, Ali Azmat, Haroon and Arif Lohar on vocals; and although this one did turn out to be catchy number, people aren’t really happy with it.

Instantly after the song was released, comparisons to previous PSL anthems were made with a number of people criticizing the latest version for being un-exciting.

And perhaps this pained the singers who invested their time and hard work into producing the song. Asim Azhar who partly sang the song alongside Arif Lohar, Ali Azmat and Haroon, recently took to his Twitter to apologize to fans who had been criticizing the recently released PSL anthem.

“As a crazy cricket fan, I really understand the importance that cricket and PSL hold for my fellow Pakistanis. With that being said, I’m sorry to those fans, whose expectations I couldn’t meet. I know you guys wait long enough for this time of the year. But everyone tried their best, tried to do something different and out of their comfort zone with only good intentions for the love of the country and cricket, And to those who are enjoying it, thank you for the love. And again, I’m sorry to the ones disappointed. Trust me, being a cricket fan, I get it,” wrote Asim on his Twitter.

He added that PSL anthems were not a competition and that all anthems belonged to Pakistanis.

“Sure, you have all the rights to like and dislike but please understand we all do this for the same cause, for the betterment of cricket, PSL and most importantly our Pakistan. All the anthems of PSL are OUR anthems. If you don’t like a certain one unfortunately, you have others to enjoy them as well,” stated the singer cum actor.

Asim ended his apology note stating that people should refrain from making personal remarks or degrading comments just for the sake of a few likes. The Tera Woh Pyar singer however added that he wasn’t talking about the memes because they were fun.

The heartthrob Singer Asim Azhar has taken the internet by storm with his latest track “Habibi”. Not just in Pakistan, but Asim’s song “Habibi” received praises from across the border as well. Within 3 weeks the song has crossed more than 6 million views on Youtube.

Yesterday, Asim Azhar posted a video clip with Dubai based content creator Adnan Zafar aka Ken Doll on his official Instagram account. The video shows Asim and Adnan jamming on song “Habibi” together for a latest TikTok project.

Soon after posting the video on his Instagram account, Asim deleted the post. Asim taking to his Instagram story apologized from the audience for uploading a video song on the eve of first Muharram. Asim stated that he avoid posting during first 10 days of Muharram but he didn’t realize and missed the date.

Pakistani web series Churails is the talk of the town and has gained attention around the globe. It received positive response from the audience while as some even criticized it due to its content.

After its release, a Twitter user highlighted similarities between an opening scene of Churails with French illustrator Malika Favre’s artwork.

However, the director of Churails, Asim Abbasi didn’t clarify the matter earlier but after a month he has explained the whole thing.

He said that as soon as he got to know about this he reached out to Malika Fevre. “A few weeks ago the issue regarding the plagiarism / usage of an illustration created by French artist Malika Favre in Churails was brought to our attention. We immediately reached out to Malika to take necessary measures to rectify the situation.”

“I would also at this point like to clear the name of our animation creator, Studio Rokhan  @rokhan_official of any wrongdoing. Due to an oversight by the production house, the animation studio was provided the said artwork and given the authorization to use it @rokhan_official of any wrongdoing. He further said, “My silence on this matter was due to the production house needing time to complete the corrective process, which it now has. I strongly believe that the rights of all artists must be protected and upheld at all times and would like to personally apologise for this oversight.”
