Chalay Thay Saath, is an upcoming Urdu film produced in Karachi. It will be the debut movie for Syra Shehroz and is shot in Gilgit Baltistan and Karachi. Though Syra Shehroz made a cameo appearance in the film Ho Mann Jahan released in January 2016, Chalay Thay Saath is the film she is appearing in a lead role.

Chalay thay saath is about family, relationships and the value of friendship.  Its first look is revealed today. The name of the male lead is not yet made public but news are that a Chinese actor is playing the lead role opposite Syra Shehroz.

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani is a 2015 Pakistani comedy movie which was directed by Nadeem Beyg and was co produced by Humayun Saeed. JPNA was a huge success so naturally it’s sequel JPNA 2 is anticipated to be one of the top runners in 2018.

The sequel will be starring all the cast of the prequel with the exception of Fahad Mustafa replacing Hamza Ali Abbasi, earlier this month we heard rumors of him pairing with Syra Shehroz but when Mawra sealed the deal for the feature film we had a lot of questions.

Sayra Shehroz when asked of her role in the movie said this:

“I rejected the film because I believe my role was not substantial. Nadeem Baig is one of the finest directors we have in the Pakistani film industry, but the role I was offered didn’t amount to what I had in mind, so I politely declined and told Nadeem bhai that I won’t be doing this role in JPNA2″

She also added:

“Nadeem bhai and I will definitely be working together in the near future.”

Sayra Shehroz made her debut with Chalay Thay Sath which didn’t do so well on the box office, while her other feature film Project Ghazi has been delayed for some technical difficulties.

Mawra Hocane on the other hand will be making her debut in Pakistani film industry with JPNA 2 and we wish her good luck.

Syra Shehroz revealed the good news of her pregnancy while talking to the Sunday magazine. When asked what was Syra’s reaction when she found out about her pregnancy Syra said “I was ecstatic! I have always wanted to be a mother at a young age, so it was perfect timing!” Syra also said the best part about being pregnant was “You get to eat everything! And everyone pampers you so much. I love it! Shehroz has been very caring and thoughtful throughout. Having nothing to do and watching yourself bloat up is tough though.”

Syra Yusef said that in the beginning of her pregnancy she was craving “pickles, chaats and everything sour and spicy, but now towards the end I have developed more of a sweet tooth.” Syra Yusef admitted that it would be hard to go back to work after the baby but “I will be able to manage InshAllah.” Syra Yusef also shared that the best advice she got during her pregnancy so far was from her gynecologist who said “Only discuss your pregnancy with three women: your mother, your mother-in-law and me. We want what is best for you. Everybody else is going to tell you what a traumatic experience it is and you don’t want that.”

About her character, she says, “I will be playing the role of Resham, who’s a doctor by profession. People have these preconceived notions about doctors being serious or very stuck in their ways but she’s not like that. She’s very fun loving and adventurous and the story is about her and her friends taking a trip up north.”

The producer, Beenish Parvez tells that the film’s like a travelogue but about everyday people like you and me. “The dialogues are very real, the story will start off on a lighter note and get a bit more dramatic as time will go by but still rooted in reality.

The cast of Chalay Thay Saath includes Behroz Sabzwari, Shamim Hilali, Mansa Pasha, Zhalay Sarhadi, Faris Khalid etc.

A new web series is coming out soon. The story revolves around four close friends who are uniting after a long time of 7-8 years. The web series will have 7 episodes. It is directed by Murtaza Chaudhary and produced by Waqas Rizvi. The web series will be released in the first half of October.

This mini web series is giving us major Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani vibes and we are super excited for it.

The rumours started spreading about Syra and Shahroz Sabzwari getting divorced in December.

The rumours were declined by the couple and they revealed that they separated from each other for six months.

In March, the couple decided to get divorced due to irreconcilable differences. They also requested everyone to respect their privacy.

After their divorce, the rumours started floating about Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari’s relationship.

They were spotted many times together and people started calling Sadaf Kanwal ‘a homewrecker’.

All this was happening but Syra didn’t share anything on social media or talk about Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari’s relationship.

However, after a long time, her Instagram post says something about her current situation and how she is dealing with the divorce.

Syra Shehroz has had bit of a tumbling journey as she ventures into the big screen. First her Project Ghaazi in which she plays the role of a scientist was shelved and will hopefully be releasing in December. Then it was announced that she has been replaced by Mawra Hocane in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, and that arose a lot of curiosity. However, Syra herself has answered this question in a conversation with Instep. 

Here is what Syra had to say about opting out of the much anticipated sequel;

“Simply, because after reading the script I knew I didn’t want to play that character. I’m all about experimenting and challenging myself but it’s got to be substantial and I didn’t think it was.”

Now this gives rise to speculation that the character is merely a filler, but only time will tell.

Syra and Shehroz are one power couple. Syra has done some wonderful work in the past. Shehroze’s Bisaat e Dil is on-air on Hum TV and people are loving it. They both danced together at International Pakistan Prestige Awards this year in London and won us over. They were looking all prepared to appear in a romantic film together and guess what they are actually doing a film together.

So far the title has not been decided. Syra and Shehroz often share bts photos and call it a sairoz film. That’s a cute name, we must say. It is written and directed by Omer Esa Khan, the unnamed films is being made in collaboration with Bluesteel Films in Bahrain. The last spell of shootings is currently underway in Bahrain and is expected to be finished in another month. The film will tentatively be released on Eid-ul-Adha in 2019.

The film is a story of unconditional love between two youngsters who have to part ways owing to their circumstances. It has an Indian actor Ankur Rathi playing an important role in it while the other cast members include Shahzeen Rahat, Aaadi, Mohi Abro, Sabeena and Amir Qureshi. This would be both Syra and Shehroze’s second film.

Hum Awards powered by Q mobile dazzled Karachi last night, from all sorts of style statements we saw on the red carpet to aesthetic performances it was wowzah. That wowzah level of entertainment looks so effortless on the T.V screen but it really isn’t. Celebrities go through arduous rehearsal sessions just to make that annual event a night to remember.

On one such arduous session when both Asim Azhar and Syra Shehroz were totally exhausted both physically and mentally they had a minor trifle.

The argument started when Asim had been waiting for twenty minutes for his rehearsal to start since the management had given him that time but the choreographer was still busy practicing with Syra.

Everyone started persuading Asim and requested him to wait a little bit more and meanwhile have a cup of tea or something. To which Asim said that they should’ve told him they weren’t free when Asim had contacted them earlier to confirm the timings to which the choreographers were apologetic. Asim insisted that he has no free dates in the future so he must rehearse today he also said he’d contact the management and let them know what’s happening down here to which Syra said “You really don’t need to throw a fit over this” Asim countered this with “I’m really not throwing a fit” after which Syra walked out.

“Syra and I have today, on account or irreconcilable difference, decided to end our marriage,” wrote Shahroz on his social media.

Adding further and requesting privacy in this time, Shahroz added, “Our only hope at what is a difficult time for each of us is that both of us can continue to be the best parents possible for our daughter and hope that she will continue to enjoy and reciprocate the love and respect to which she, and both her parents are entitled to.”

Syra too posted a similar message on her social media, requesting privacy and hoping the duo continued to be the best parents to their daughter.

Syra and Shahroz’s daughter Nooreh, was born in 2014. The almost six year old child has been a constant fixture on Syra and Shahroz’s social media and is very adorable.
