Eid is considered a lucrative occasion for the film business. Due to prologned holidays films released on Eid generate good revenue. But this Eid there are very few Pakistani films lined up for screening. Sultanat is the only film with higher production quality, the rest are quite inferior nothing much to look for to.

. It is a high budgeted movie, produced by Aslam Bhatti, written by Syed Parvez Kaleem and directed by Syed Faisal Bukhari. The cast of the film includes Aslam Bhatti, Javaid Shaikh , Sila Hussan , Deepak Shirke,Akashdeep Saigal, Shweta Tiwari ,Zainab Qayyum ,Nayyar Ejaz ,Shabbir Jan ,Mustafa Qureshi and Mona Lizza (Sara Loren). The cast include some big names from Pakistan and India. Syed Faisal Bukhari the director is famous for making commercial masala films and dramas. His earlier two films ‘No Paisa No Problem’(2002)  and ‘Bhai Log’ (2011) had done average business, though Bhai Log performed much better than No Paisa No Problem.

Artist Sara Loren has done an item number in the film. The film is shot in Bangkok and Dubai, while post production and music is completed in India. From trailer it looks a pure formula masala film. It is the story of some Don type Aslam Bhai played by Aslam Bhatti who is also producer of this film. The film is produced under the banner of AB productions (Aslam Bhatti productions)

Earlier Aslam Bhatti has also produced a high budgeted film ‘God Father The Legend Continues’ in 2007 to launch himself as a film hero, but it failed at box office as Mr. Aslam Bhatti was terrible in leading role. The cast of ‘God Father The Legend Continues’ consisted of  indian and pakistani actors; Vinod Khanna,Meera,Arbaaz Khan,Ajab Gul,Mikaal Zulfiqar,Shafqat Cheema,Aslam Bhatti,Hrishitaa Bhatt,Maria Khan,Atiqa Odho,Preeti Jhangiani,Kim Sharma,Mehmood Akhtar,Amrita Arora and Aslam Bhatti. Sultanat is a Hum TV drama serial which aired daily at 9:00 PM. The drama serial has been written by Noor Ul Huda Shah. It has been directed by Shah Hussain and it is an MD Productions presentation. The cast of the drama serial Sultanat features Saba Faisal, Humayoun Ashraf, Maha Hasan, Syed Muhammad Ahmed, Ahmed Randhawa, Usman Javed, Sukaina Khan, Imran Aslam, Nimra Shahid, Nargis Rasheed, Mahnoor, Tania Hussain and others. The story of the drama revolves around the parents of girls who were being manipulated by their eldest son-in-law.

Today, the last episode of the drama serial Sultanat aired on Hum TV at 9:00 pm. Fans didn’t like the conclusion of the drama. The Sultanat viewers are of the view that they were watching the drama to see a happy ending between Waseem and Maham but Wasim ended up marrying Mehru which was unfair.

Drama viewers were not expecting this ending, a few are saying that the drama makers wrapped the show abruptly because of the budget issues. The Saltanat fans are expressing their anger at the worst ending of the drama. Sultana Siddiqui is one of the biggest names in Pakistani entertainment. She is a veteran from PTV and she is also the founder of Hum Network, one of the biggest media networks in Pakistan. Sultana Siddiqui, also known as Sultana Apa, is a Pakistani media mogul, television director, and producer who is the founder of Hum Network Limited. Sultana Siddiqui is an active director of Hum Network Limited and the president of Hum Network Limited. By virtue of that she became the first woman in Pakistan to establish a TV station.

Sultana Siddiqui while talking about the comments being added on drinking and smoking scenes in drams mentioned that “I was always against of showing such clips of drinking and smoking in dramas. The dramas which were produced under my production house never showed such kind of clips, but then the producers and directors started to insist me that they need to show these clips of smoking and drinking, so I allowed them”.

“I allowed them to show such clips but I used a tag line “Smoking And Drinking Is Prohibited”. I was the first person who did this. PEMRA sent me a notice praising me for this act, added Sultana Siddiqui.

Sultana Siddiqui, the President of HUM Network Limited, which is one of Asia’s largest and most successful TV networks, also known as Sultana Apa out of respect in the industry. I am in a hurry to do my wish list because I think that I have very little time remaining, so, in that hurry I want to cover all the topics which bother me, especially which are harming our society and no one has the courage to talk on that. Earlier, I discussed it with Mehreen Jabbar, I told her that I want to do all these dramas before I go. Besides this, I want the youner lot to learn about the technical things like we used to know as producers, we were literally taught each and everything in PTV. I want the technical team to be super efficient in their work”

Talking about death, she said, “yes, I think about death and I am not afraid of it because I am at a certain age where I have to be prepared for death. I am not afraid of death, I told Duraid and my children not to cry when I die and Duraid instantly said, ‘Why? I will cry’, I urged my kids to remember me in good words, talk about my successful things after I leave this world. For me acceptance of the expected events is normal. I do think on these lines”.

Sultana Siddiqi is an iconic figure of Pakistani media industry. She is the only female head of a media house when she established HUM TV networks a decade ago.

Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt was the remake of Sultan Rahi’s blockbuster Punjabi movie Maula Jatt, which was popular worldwide. The script of the original film was written by Nasir Adeeb, and it was produced by Muhammad Sarwar Bhatti in 1979. Yunus Malik directed the original film. In recent years, Amarah Hikmat and Bilal Lashari attempted a star-studded remake of Maula Jatt with the same writer and it turned out to be a successful venture. The cinematography was inspired by Hollywood films and it did a great business.

Lately, Sultan Rahi’s son Haider Sultan criticized the modern remake of Maula Jutt. He also announced that he is soon making Son of Maula Jut.

In the Samaa TV podcast, hosted by Ukasha Gul, he said, “The remake didn’t do justice to the original movie, although it was a good production. They filmed it in a Hollywood style, which was a plus point as it boosted their business. I think the character didn’t suit Fawad Khan. It was a role meant for a strong person, a man of honor and integrity, but Fawad didn’t stand out in the film. Mahira Khan’s character could have been given to an authentic Punjabi Jatti. Sultan Rahi is a veteran actor of Pakistan and Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum producer just made an analysis on his career. He has worked in over 600 films and he is the biggest name of Pakistani cinema. He was the original Maula Jatt and he has worked in both Urdu and Punjabi films. The action packed gandasa films also started in his era and reached their pinnacle.

Sukoon was an ARY Digital’s prime time drama serial that ended today. The drama was written by Misbah nosheen. Siraj ul Haq was the director of the show who also directed Tere Bin in the recent past. The cast featured Sana Javed, Ahsan Khan, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Sidra Niazi, Atiqa Odho, Usman Peerzada, Laila Wasti, Nida Mumtaz, Qudsia Ali, Adnan Samad Khan and Aehsun Talish. Siraj ul Haq has come up with another drama after Tere Bin. The latest one Sukoon stars Sana Javed and Ahsan Khan as leads while we have Khaqan Shahnawaz, Sidra Niazi, Atiqa Odho, Usman Peerzada, Laila Wasti, Nida Mumtaz, Qudsia Ali, Adnan Samad Khan and Aehsun Talish in the support cast. The drama will be a love story with loads of drama and romance which is Siraj ul haq’s signature. It is written by Misbah nosheen and its first episode aired last night.

Looks like we will have a love triangle between Annie aka Sana Javed, Hamdan aka Ahsan Khan and Raza aka Khaqan Shahnawaz. The leads have collided already and our heroine is a bag of innocence and beauty. The OST is making everything magical as Sukoon by Hassan and Roshaan was a hit already. Introductions are made and now the story will move forward.

Talking about his character, Nauman said, “People have given feedback that the character has ended soon, they said that it could have given more time, I also gave a suggestion to the makers about the character that it should have disappeared instead of being killed”

“I told them that he could have gotten escape as he was an influential man but it couldn’t happen, because it was already a published novel and they could not change it”, added Nauman.

Talking further about it, he said that the drama is believable except the fact that an unknown don gives all his wealth to an employee, but otherwise it was believable, people accepted it because it was story of a common man.

Talking about Ahmed Ali Akbar’s acting he said that Ahmad Ali Akbar was phenomenal in his role throughout.
