Sonya Hussyn mentioned that ” I have no idea that this drama was inspired from a Bollywood film, I haven’t scene the film before either”.

Sonya was upset with the channel because the way they released the teaser was wrong. “The teaser was not released the way it should be, It was actually giving a look of movie rather than a drama”, said Sonya.

After facing a lot of controversy Sonya was forced to watch the movie. “Storyline and plot are borrowed from the film but things are very different from the film. The reactions, the relationship between husband and wife was not elaborated in the film as it is in drama” says Sonya.

Sonya further mentioned that ” I get upset when people without watching the whole drama and story starts controversy”.

Sonya Hussyn is a brilliant Pakistani television and film actor who has been performing amazingly well in the dramas and film. Sonya Hussyn’s film Daadal is releasing this Eid Ul Fitr. Recently, her drama Tinkay Ka Sahara has ended which was loved by fans. Lately, Sonya Hussyn appeared in Aan TV’s show Aan Ramzan in which she described her feelings of gifting house to her father.

Talking about it, Sonya said, “I think, I decided to gift the house to my parents from my early age but you can only think to buy property in Karachi, it took a lot of time, it took me ten years to buy the house for my father, I did this venture secretly, I bought everything as per my parents choice, I used to ask my parents’ choices about house and I tried to buy a house as per my parents’ choice”

Talking about her feelings while gifting the house to father she said that it was a priceless moment, she said, “I think parents are the only people who think that children’s achievement is their achievement. We all cried at that moment”. She further said parents of our generation keep a distance with kids but obviously love is always there.

Back in 2015, when actress Faryal Mehmood was a new comer and a tad bit overweight (more than the trending heroines of the industry) she was subjected to a lot of mean comments and bullying by directors and actors of the industry. Faryal Mehmood’s new drama serial “Bechari” had started on PTV Home and Sohail Javed and Sonya Hussyn criticized Faryal’s character openly.

In the same chat, Sohail Javed and Sonya Hussyn used abuses for Faryal Mehmood who highlighted them by sharing on her social media.

Faryal then put Sonya Hussyn and Sohail Javed both in their places by calling tem out openly.

This whole spat resulting in Faryal Mehmood quitting Farwa Ki ABC. However, things eventually died down and both Sonya and Faryal continued with their career.

But now it seems, a bigger controversy is about to arise, as only yesterday we saw Sonya Hussyn refusing to acknowledge she knew anyone with the name of Faryal Mehmood who existed in the industry. The very same Faryal who she had made fun of openly on her social media.

Perhaps Sonya did this delibrately to avoid saying anything about Faryal or maybe she does not want to acknowledge her existence as Faryal recently replaced Sonya in Faysal Qureshi’s Sorry: A Love Story. Faryal is yet to reply to this pretense put up by Sonya Hussyn. As bold as Faryal is, she is also rather mature and a very sensible actress. And maybe she’ll just let it go, and not roast Sonya about her deliberate pretense.

“yes, I was sarcastic on the name and type of dramas that were being made, but unknowingly, I wrote about it that too in general, then Sohail Javed also commented and wrote about it, later, the matter was only discussed on platforms, I didn’t meet with Faryal after that but on awards’ night she was being so nice, if she would have not given me the confidence that night, I could have not spoken anything there. We really had a great interaction that evening”, added Sonya.

She also talked about winning PISA, Sonya said, “It was an emotional moment, it came to me unexpectedly, so it was big. I don’t know why award came late to me. I think jury just watch prominent plays and announce awards”
