Many young faces have been joining the industry and trying to make a mark for themselves. Aina Asif is one such actress who started out appearing in mainstream projects not long ago and now she is impressing everyone. She has played some important characters in dramas like Hum Tum, Pinjra and Baby Baji and now we will be seeing her in a lead role in the drama Mayi Ri.

Aina Asif has been impressing everyone and people have high expectations from her. Her drama Mayi Ri has some strong cast members including Maya Khan and Nauman Ijaz and she is still managing to shine bright.

This is how the internet is responding to her new projects:

Aina is gathering a lot of love and appreciation from netizens and people are predicting a bright future for Aina ahead:

Senior actors have largely been ignored by our industry in many aspects. We generally see that there are no good roles written for that age bracket, neither is something fresh ever added for their tracks. They are largely ignored in the award categories and just lurk in the background among the gliz and glam of the industry. Many of our senior stars have complained about the disrespect they get from the youngsters. Many a times these things just keep happening and everybody ignores them. A scenario like that happened with Munawar Saeed who is playing the role of father in baby baji, a very senior actor with hundreds of projects to his credit.

Baby Baji’s cast was promoting their drama on Nida Yasir’s show and Munawar Saeed was not only largely neglected by the host but netizens think that Nida was disrespectful towards him as well.

The incident occurred several times as can be seen in these clips:

Netizens reacted strongly to Nida’s behaviour towards Munawar Saeed and here is what they had to say:

Saba Qamar is one of the biggest stars in Pakistan. People love her for her talent, her choice of projects and her bold no-nonsense personality. Naturally, people are interested in their favourite star’s life and want to know what is happening there.

During a recent interview with Something Haute, Saba Qamar revealed that she is in love indeed but she wants to keep things private this time as once before her marriage was announced and things did not go as planned. This led to a lot of negativity and trolling. So this time Saba is not sharing anything publicly.

Check out Saba Qamar’s revelation:

Netizens advised Saba Qamar to keep things private this time as evil eyes can strike while some as usual went into trolling mode:

Fahad Mustafa is a famous name of Pakistan , now a days he came into news regarding his statement on “Making Money” .

A Netizen schools Fahad Mustafa on his controversial statement regarding “Just Making Money” from the industry.

A social media page on Instagram with considerable following criticised Fahad Mustafa on Instagram.

The page creator said that he admired Fahad Mustafa’s work in Jeeto Pakistan a lot . The admin praised Mustafa on bringing smiles on people’s face through his gifting, that he does in Jeeto Pakistan.

The page has posted a picture of graveyard while tagging Fahad Mustafa and wrote,

” I fail to understand how did the world change so much in just few years. Why are we forgetting that we will all end up here. No matter how much we earn from corruption, robbery, cheating, we will have to leave it all in this world when we head over on our new journey. ”

The creator of Instagram page further wrote,

“I hope islam wins and shaitan loses and we can make this world a better place to live and secure our future together.”

He then tagged the actor in his post and said,

” @mustafafahad26 I hope you read this post. I watch every single episode of jeeto pakistan and I respect you. Even though I know you are just doing your job and giving gifts from other peoples’ money to poor. But still the smile you bring on everyone’s face is too sweet.”

The thing that actually offended many of the fans of Fahad Mustafa is, the way he defended his controversial dramas and said ” “I am only here to make money” .

Fans got really sad on his statement, and same was the person who conveyed his message through his post.

The cybernaut further said that,

“I wish your life moto was more than just making money. If even one house is ruined because of watching your drama. You will have to pay the price in this life as well as hereafter.”

Also fans did not fathom his logic , justifying the content he is continuing to produce and feel no remorse on it .

Netflix has grown over people all over the world. You can watch your favourite shows and movies anytime you like and it is not super expensive either, making Netflix and Chill the most used motto these days. Netflix has produced a lot of good shows recently and with the company venturing in Pakistan, we have seen many of our dramas and films making it to the Netflix too. According to the latest news, Netflix may produce its first ever Pakistani show and the lead actor will be Zahid Ahmed. Zahid is in London these days and while talking to BBC, he revealed that he is in talks for being cast as the main actor for a show Netflix will be producing.

The news is extremely exciting but we will have to wait till it gets confirmed!

Heeramandi is the latest Netflix series that is trending in India and Pakistan. The series is directed by ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it is based in Lahore before Independence. Heeramandi was a passion project for the director and it took several years and several cast changes to finally be released in the form that it did. At some point Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Imran Abbas were also meant to join the cast. The series is out now and it is getting mixed reviews.

Peer e Kamil on the other hand is a superhit Urdu novel written by Umera Ahmed. The novel is considered a cult classic and it was later released in the English language as well. Salar Sikandar, the main character, is the dream man of millions and that character single-handedly has more fame than many of the heroes combined.

Peer e Kamil has now crossed paths with Heeramandi as the novel was featured in a scene of the series. The problem however, came about that Peer e Kamil was written in 2004 while the series is based in the pre-independence era.

Umera Ahmed herself also noticed the thing:

Here is how the audience is reacting to it:

Pakistan’s shining star, Hadia Hashmi at the age of eight gained immense love and recognition from the audience with her melodious vocals in Nescafé Basement song “Bol Hu“, along with Soch the band. Hadia received praises from people all around the country and across the borders as well.

Khalil-Ur-Rehman crossed every boundary after he blatantly abused his fellow panelist in a live show. He made the most derogatory comments on the character of Marvi Sirmed who is a well-known feminist, analyst and activist.

The anchorperson of the show, Ayesha Ehtesham not even once tried to stop Khalil-ur-Rehamn fo being rude but rather she stopped Marvi Sirmed for speaking in her defence.

The anchorperson Ayesha Ehtesham received backlash from social media for doing injustice. She has come forward and apologized for hurting her viewers.

In a tweet, she said, “What happened yesterday in my show was an extremely sorry state of affairs. I could not imagine things will turn out to be so rough and abusive.”

“I was completely taken aback which might have affected my ability to condemn abusive/sexist remarks there and then,” she added.

She explained that she could not stop both the parties due to a lot of screaming and shouting and she apologized from her viewers.

Earlier this week Pakistani celebrities have officially started a trend online demanding royalties for the artists with the hashtag #GiveroyaltiesToArtists. Both senior and junior artists working in the entertainment industry have participated in this movement and shared the same hashtag on their Instagram.

The Royalty payment issue came to light when Veteran actress Naila Jaffery, who has been fighting cancer for six years, posted a video, in which she has appealed to the television channels to at least pay the royalties to the actors on reruns of the projects. Later on, She received support from a lot of her colleagues working in the industry.

The public had mixed opinions on the trend started by the media fraternity. Some of them bashed celebrities on asking for their royalty payments because they didn’t have much knowledge about the term Royalties. On which Ayesha Omer gave a crash course on the literal meaning of Royalties to her fans on Instagram as well.

Let’s have a look at netizens’ opinions shared on different forums on social media.

So, the dramatic version of speech put forward by Nehal Hashmi, makes you wonder Nava Ayan Soneya?

“The one you judge is the son of our Prime Minister. You will not be spared (To Whom It May Concern). We will reduce the space for you and for your family in the country”

This is what Mr. Hashmi had to say in his melodrama of a speech during his address at Youm-e-takbeer event in Karachi.

https://youtu.be/5ZzYzHU8sGA

After the Gullu buts, we have Mr. Nehal trying to tell who the nation is dealing with and interrogating the Prime Minister is definitely not a good idea but little did Mr. Nehal know that his own actions would cause his suspension.

While Mr. Hashmi goes on threatening, we see a man with expressions those of Maula Jutt , standing at the back, reminding us of Sultan Rahi and the threats given gave a fair representation of a Pakistani movie from 90s.

This has been such an unlucky move by Hashmi, causing him a great deal. Immediate actions were taken against his speech, for it raised a lot of questions on JIT and judges involved in investigation. The information minister Maryam Aurengzeb, while calling the speech Hashmi’s personal opinion, confirmed his suspension as a senator and that the show cause notice has been issued to Hashmi.

Imran Khan, declared the threatening speech as a shameful act while Khursheed Shah, the opposition leader said that the supremacy of the institutions is being questioned which will not be allowed.

Loyalty serves as the best characteristic in a politician but Mr. Hashmi’s loyalty caused him enough trouble. That is what we call “tough luck “.

On the other hand Neha rajpoot was also questioned about the accusations on which she responded “Lol it’s easy to point out fingers at people who stay quiet, well there is always two side to a story just because someone is quiet doesn’t mean they are wrong. I’m amazed at how whenever something comes up it’s so easy for people to put on at models calling them homewreckers and totally disregard housewives who when their husbands are away for long, they cheat left, right and centre and then blame the man for moving on. I rest my case here and I wish her peace and love.”
