Talking about joining the showbiz he said, ” I wrote a theater play for collecting my fee, Khalid Butt liked my play, he did our auditions in which I got rejected and my friend got selected but he never got permission from his father which opened the door for me ”

Adding further into it he said, ” I had Nida Kazmi with me in the theater play, she said you are a good actor , my mother Sahira Kazmi is doing casting for an upcoming drama Zaib-un-Nisa, so you can just come over to PTV ” .

Mohib further told, ” Nida took me to PTV studio where I saw the whole reading session of Sania Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui, I read my lines and I got praise from Sahira Kazmi ”

” Sahira told Adnan to see and learn from me, Adnan then stood up and hugged me and that’s how I am here, I didn’t have to do that much struggle “, added Mohib.

Pakistani actor Mohib Mirza and Amina Sheikh were married for quite a long time but recently Mohib announced that they have been separated. Mohib revealed the news of separation in Bol Nights with Ahsan Khan. Fans were quite sad over this news.

Mohib Mirza while talking about his childhood trauma, mentioned that “Once, I went to a swimming pool with boys who were quite elder than me. I saw them wearing shorts, taking shower and then jumping into the pool. What I did was, I jumped into the deep end of the people. I was quite young and I didn’t even knew how to swim.”

“I was drowning and I literally had no idea what to do as it was my first interaction with water. Fortunately someone noticed me and took me out of the water and saved me, otherwise, I would not have survived. It is actually a childhood trauma, whenever I go in water that flashback hits me, that particular sight comes in mind”, added Mohib Mirza.

In this episode, Sarmad Khoosat welcomed Mohib Mirza to the show. I liked the intro where Sarmad talked about Mohib Mirza’s ”kaam ki ana’‘ – Mohib doesn’t say yes to every project that comes his way. He spoke with disdain about the current state of TV dramas. He is also not happy with the fact that our dramas rarely show positive male characters and most dramas focus too much on negativity and bechari aurat issues. ”Ab mardon kay masaail bhi dikhaain.”

Talking about his film, Teri Meri Love Story, Mohib Mirza said that it is a romantic comedy because these days, in a whirl of problems and issues, the last thing people want is to pay to see a movie that is too depressing or too preachy. ”Mujhe koi peghaam nahe dena, bohat peghaam dediye, ab log thak chuke hain.” Since there’s a multitude of dramas that do little to make people smile, he wants to work in comedy dramas and movies that serve to entertain people.

Mohib Mirza’s shout-out to his mother was the best, especially when he said, ”Thankyou mujhe paal pos kar 6 ft 2 inches ka karne kay liye.”

Mohib Mirza is an actor who works on his own terms and according to him it’s the same case with his personal life. He’s married to Aaminah Sheikh is at the peak of her career. On his selection of films he said, ” Bachana fared well while TMLS struggled to get its act right with the audience. The audience shouldn’t be blamed for disliking a film. Personally I felt, TMLS had a good script but something went intrinsically wrong with the technical support i.e. colour grading and sound until the final screening. Lack of promotions was also a cause for its debacle. As for Arth, it was completely Shaan’s visualization from start to finish. As an actor, I surrendered myself to him and completely trusted his vision. Each film has its own destiny, maybe the hype around the film was missing or it wasn’t the right time to release it. As an industry, we are still in the experimenting zone and it is really unfair to label a film a hit or a flop. It’s a tough phase for the actors, distributors and filmmakers.”

On why does he take so long to appear on Tv, he replied, “I took my time to wait for a good script instead of grabbing just any project, just to stay relevant. I got a lot of lead role offers these past few offers but the characters just didn’t appeal to me. The plots were getting repetitive and there was nothing new. I truly believe that an actor should and must evolve with time and the offers I was getting didn’t align with that. Deedan, on the other hand, has given me an opportunity to prove my versatility. I have worked really hard on it and have broken quite a few stereotypes through it. I couldn’t have asked for a better comeback project.”

These days, Mohib Mirza is winning hearts left right and center with his performance as Hatim in ARY Digital’s Dushman-e-Jaan. However this isn’t the first time Mohib Mirza has delivered a commendable performance. “I won’t name but I’ve been approached by top directors for films that I had to reject. According to the directors I was perfect for the role if only I could lighten my skin tone by getting whitening injections. And I being myself, simply rejected the roles saying if that was my selection criterion for a director, I simply couldn’t work with them,” shared Mohib.

Mohib also shared that he had never felt bad about rejecting such top scripts but instead challenged writers and directors who worshipped fair skin to travel with him to Europe and America where he said people absolutely loved our brown skin tone.

On the work front Mohib Mirza can be currently seen in Hum TV’s Dil Ruba and ARY Digital’s Dushman-e-Jaan.

Mohib Mirza is coming back to the silver screens with his movie Ishrat: Made In China. He was last seen opposite Saam Saeed in Bachana. He is producing and directing Ishrat too and the first spell of the film is complete.

Mohib Mirza’s Ishrat is going to be an action-packed comedy and we are going to see many stunts. Mohib Mirza is performing his own stunts and during one of those shots, he got severely injured. Mohib Mirza refused to present award on the Hum Style Awards 2016 for free.  Mohib has simply said No to Hum TV Network that he will not be presenting any award at the show just thinking that it will be a great honor rather the channel should be paid for it.

According to the Bachaana star, the award show is being sponsored by a huge telecommunication brand, then why the channels expects the channel expects the celebrities to do work for free or for the sake of feeling honored at the ceremony. Therefore, it is always exciting news when a drama is announced that promises to be something new and different. Mohib Mirza and Sana Javed will be pairing up for an upcoming drama serial titled ‘Neeli Zinda Hai’. Produced by Six Sigma for ARY Digital, Neeli Zinda Hai is said to be a drama serial of the suspense-thriller genre.

Senior Vice President of ARY Films, Irfan Malik, revealed some details about the project. “Neeli Zinda Hai is a thriller-suspense-horror kind of a drama. By horror I mean it is more of an anticipatory horror instead of the usual supernatural one. It is an interesting story and the project is quite challenging for us as well”, says Irfan Malik.

Neeli Zinda Hai is written by Adeel Razzaq and directed by Qasim Ali Mureed. This project promises to be a different genre for the audience of Pakistani dramas. The show also stars Sonia Mishal alongside Mohib Mirza and Sana Javed.

This is the first time Mohib Mirza and Sana Javed will be pairing up for a project together. Mohib got much praise for his drama serial Dushman-e-Jaan earlier this year. According to Irfan Malik, the show has already started shooting. So far the shoot has been going on well, leading the team to be quite confident about the project.

If you recite Kalma and accept Islam, you will definitely go to Jannah, it is a known fact and the biggest benefit of Islam. I accepted Islam and hid it for three years. Also, I started visiting Molvi Faheem Sahab, who used to talk about Allah’s message. I was taking interest in Allah’s message and my real source of inspiration was Saeed Anwar, when I was ready to accept Islam, he made me recite the Kalma and took me to Molvi Faheem, I actually got Inspiration from Saeed Anwar because he became a practicing Muslim who followed the Sunnah properly, although, he is a born Muslim but he became a devotee. I recited Kalma from Saeed Anwar. I had to hide it for good three years, I actually used to make cross after making a century because I was instructed to hide it from people.

He further said, “After I accepted Islam, my family was angry with me, my community got angry with me, they are still angry with me and I don’t mind this thing, obviously, I was part of them and changed my religion completely, initially, my parents were angry but father was a simple man, he said, ‘its okay, if you have accepted Islam’. My father also accepted Islam before dying, I went to him, he recited Kalma, it is Allah’s biggest blessing that my father accepted Islam. My mother was also lucky enough to have accepted Islam. My wife also accepted Islam by choice after proper learning. He also said that he grew beard on the wish of his mentor.

He further said, “I think that cricket came into my life as a purpose, because it paved my way towards Islam”

Just two days prior to Pakistan’s T20 World Cup semifinal game against Australia, keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan had to deal with a tough situation. However, he has now explained in detail his journey from being diagnosed with the chest infection to his recovery and return to the field.

Rizwan had reportedly developed a severe chest infection just before the T20 World Cup semi-final and had to spend two nights in a Dubai hospital in its Intensive Care Unit for the treatment. In an interview with Pakistan Cricket Board, Rizwan said that it was just an ECG in the beginning, for which he had to leave the hotel when he started feeling unwell before the crucial match.

He said that in order to keep his family calm, who were accompanying him at the hotel, he told them that he will be back with them after getting an ECG done. “But I was breathless by the time I reached the hospital,” said Rizwan. He said that his condition was not well and the doctors had told him that both his oesophagus and respiratory tract were blocked. “They were not telling me anything and saying that I will get well by the morning,” said Rizwan.

The cricketer said at this point, he asked a nurse about his condition and she told him that “both his oesophagus and the reparatory tube would have burst if he got 20 minutes late” in reaching the hospital. The nurse told Rizwan that he would have to remain hospitalised as long as the doctors would advise, he added. Rizwan said that the medical team performed different kinds of tests but he kept himself convinced that “this test or that test would make him better.”

He said that the doctor told him that he wants him [Rizwan] to play semi-final for Pakistan. “This gave me a boost,” said Rizwan, adding that one encouragement from the doctors made him take two steps towards the recovery. Rizwan said he was a bit “dismayed when the doctor told him that his condition was not stable enough for him to play.”

“I hadn’t played the match at that time but if something had happened to me after the match, I wouldn’t feel bad because it would be for Pakistan,” Rizwan said he told the doctor. Rizwan said that he was in pain but now the Almighty has made him well.

Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Irfan has been accused of involvement in corruption. The bowler represents Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League and also played in the game against Peshawar Zalmi, clinching two wickets. Irfan has not been suspended by the board, and will continue to play until the final orders.

Earlier, there were some media reports that Mohammad Irfan was also expelled from PSL and he was being sent home. However, following the PCB’s announcement that Irfan was not suspended, the left-arm fast bowler travelled with his Islamabad United teammates to the stadium for the match against Lahore Qalandards.

In case you didn’t know, Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif, the players of Islamabad United franchise (same as Irfan) were also suspected to be involved in corruption. Earlier reports suggested these two were also provisionally suspended and sent back home after receiving an order under the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Anti-Corruption code. .

An official of PCB confirmed Geo News, that three players Mohammad Irfan of Islamabad United, Zulfiqar Babar of Quetta Gladiators and Shahzaib Hasan of Karachi Kings were questioned by the PCB’s anti-corruption unit.

“As a part of the investigations, Mohammad Irfan was also questioned. He does not face any immediate suspension. PCB’s ACU has also questioned Shahzaib Hasan and Zulfiqar Babar. They will continue to play the PSL,” said PCB in a statement.

According to Express Tribune, a total of six players have been involved in the misconduct, although only two of them have been currently identified. Apart from Islamabad United, players from the Lahore Qalandards and Quetta Gladiators teams are being investigated for the same. Their names will be confirmed once the whole investigation is complete.
