“Working culture is different. A few though yet major differences are there. Over there they don’t believe in creating sets at all. Every location is a real location. The makeup is also very natural. It doesn’t feel as if it is some shoot happening but like a real life thing, it’s so natural. After working in Pakistan I realised that realism is very important. The real incidents that they focus on are executed well in their shows,” said Sara speaking to Pinkvilla.

“I have met so any people out there who love India for its beauty and culture. They love Bollywood. In their cinema halls, most of our Bollywood movies run while on their TV sets, our shows are always playing.”

When asked if she faced problems in Pakistan, Sara replied, “I never faced any tension or stress at work. You know, my producers out there were very considerate considering I was the only Indian out there. I got more respect because I was an Indian.”

She then shared her unpleasant experience with an immigration officer and shared that the officer said, “When Mahira Khan was not let go off easily in India and was deported from the Indian airport at Delhi, so why should we let you go off so easily.”

“That was the only incident that happened at the immigration counter, else nowhere did I face any kind of comparison or was held against the happening with Mahira Khan in India. In fact, outside, they all took every care of me. You know, I have been going to Pakistan for 6-7 months. This is my second show out there. The way we were unaware about a lot of things and relied on news channels, similarly, over there, people weren’t aware of the scenario faced by Mahira Khan and Fawad in detail. They too relied on news channels. I used to travel after 15 days to both the countries and see that things were pretty normal here and there as well,” she added.

In an interview Momal Sheikh shared how she found out about her pregnancy during the shooting of Mushk and her tough journey. Talking about her journey of Mushk, she said, “I was pregnant throughout and they had to rush some scenes towards the end. I had a proper tummy in my engagement scene with Adam. When I started working I was not pregnant and things happened it was not planned. Then there were problems with dates I was so nervous because it was a big project. I was emotionally shocked at how will I do it.”

She further shared, “I was happy that my second baby is coming but then there was Mushk. On the other hand, I worked so much on myself character-wise and just 20% of the shooting was done and I found out I am pregnant. I told them we have to at least complete my character before baby bump starts showing up. Then Corona happened and I had to take care of myself because I was pregnant. It was the toughest journey but I had to do it but then strict lockdown was imposed and time was going and I was gaining weight. So everyone supported me and took care of me. It is not an easy job because this is our profession you have to work with your life journey.”

It is time to give all your smartphone fun a pause for a while as there will be no more Whatsapp, Viber, Tango and Skype services available on your smartphones/tablets/laptops because they are under a ban of 3 months, as stated by Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah.

Making his point clear while talking to media about the news, Information minister Sharjeel Memon stated that as per the reports revealed by the intelligence agencies, Terrorists and criminal elements are using these networks to communicate after the targeted operation was launched. It is highly difficult to trace the communication channels been established by the VoIP softwares; hence, the service will now be blocked in Sindh for a period of 3 months.

It is to be remembered that this is nothing new for the countrymen here as it is almost more than a year that YouTube was banned in Pakistan which is, still giving a tough time to the students, technicians, workers, in general, people of different niches, differently.

It is challenging to comment about the positivity to be expected out of the decision just taken but there is one thing for sure, Pakistanis who previously found themselves connected to their loved-ones abroad will now have to spend a great deal of money in establishing communications.

WhatsApp, World’s most used instant messaging application with over 1.5 million users has a news for specific Android and iOS users. According to the latest update in the FAQ section of WhatsApp, from February 1, 2020 onward the application will stop working on the mobile phones running on Android 2.3.7 or older versions of the operating system. Similarly, iPhones running on iOS 8 or lower will also find WhatsApp not working on them anymore.

According to WhatsApp, they will not be developing features which will be supported or run by older operating systems, as a result of which some of the features might stop working abruptly. Therefore they are advising users to update their Android and iPhone mobiles to newer operating systems, to be able to use the instant messaging application. WhatsApp does claim that not a lot of users will be affected by this change. Also, those users who will still be using the older versions than Android 2.3.7 and iOS 8 will not even be able to create new accounts or re-verify their existing accounts.

‘For the best experience, we recommend you use the latest version of iOS available for your phone”, WhatsApp mentions on its support page. Also, WhatsApp will no longer be available on all Windows phone operating systems after December 31, 2019. The company has mentioned that WhatsApp might not be available in the Microsoft Store after July 1, 2019 either.

WhatApp recommends switching to newer versions to be able to enjoy and use Facebook owned instant messaging platform efficiently.

Lately one of the Pakistani website revealed that the rock star Atif Aslam only charges 8 lac for one song in Bollywood. Where as one of his biggest rival Honey Singh charges 15 lac. On the other hand Arijit Singh takes 13 lac and Mohit Chauhan charges 7-8 lac.
