After a while, Mani and I became the main characters of the College Jeans and did it for 6 months. Then, I got a Sarmad Khoosat play for Geo. I did another Geo and APlus drama and quit acting. I left acting due to payment issues. Now I am back with Fairy Tale”.

He further added, “It is difficult for outsiders to get work, or survive in the industry, especially if their family is conservative too. My family was quite supportive and thankfully I didn’t face any difficulties. My journey is so far smooth. Talking about getting his first project, he said that he got a short film which was directed by Sohail Javed, followed by Green Entertainment’s Grey but these two projects didn’t give him the break he was looking for. Talking about Ishq Murshid, Faraz said, “We were doing a drama at the Arts Council, we invited all the known media figures and Geeti from Momal Productions was one among them. A group of boys then requested me to arrange an audition with Geeti which I did for them. I wasn’t interested in giving audition because I shifted to Malaysia because of my wife’s job. We went and gave auditions, I also gave audition on my friend’s request. After a month, I got the call. I didn’t go to Malaysia after I heard Farooq Rind’s name because I knew him well. I gave multiple auditions for Ishq Murshid until I fetched it, it was a difficult process because I was replaced after two days of shooting because of my hair. They were particular about their imagination for Faraz. They wanted proper curly hair and I had wavy hair. Well, Farooq rind took a stand for me but still I changed my appearance and made a look which they wanted. Once the shooting started, Farooq rind came to me and said, ‘this is your place, grab it’.

Talking about his camaraderie with actor Bilal Abbas, he said, “Bilal never made me feel that he is super star. He’s easy to work with, he is so helpful, especially, if he knows that an actor is doing a great job and the character is good, then he wants the actor to be given ample screen time. She is a brilliant music composer and singer who has gotten nominations for her song love. Arooj Aftab (born March 11, 1985), is a brilliant Pakistani vocalist, music composer and producer, her music genres are minimalist, jazz and neo-Sufi idioms.

While talking about the main and most favorite character of the drama “Meenu” Saima shared that Meenu is inspired by a real-life character which is Misbah Nausheen the writer.

The son of Imam e Hassan RA. He joined the battle of Karbala with his uncle and was martyred in the battle.

Qasim RA was the son of Hazrat Imam e Hassan RA and stood with his uncle in the battle of Haq against Batil at the mere age of 13.

The son of Imam e Hassan RA who stood with Imam e Hussain in the battle of Karbala.

The ones who stand by the Haq and the ones who cannot be killed by a sword!
