The news of Humayun Saeed playing character of Dr Hasnat Khan in popular series “The Crown” is making rounds on social media. Right after the announcement, people started taking interest in him. Dr Hasnat Khan is a British-Pakistani heart surgeon who was practicing at London’s Royal Brompton Hospital back in Nineties.

Dr Hasnat Khan made rounds in news after having a love relationship with Lady Diana in 1995, they were in relationship for two years. It was rumored that Lady Diana broke up with Dr Hasnat after she met Dodi Al Fayed and his family on a holiday, Diana used to call Dr. Hasnat “the man of Gold”. She also developed soft corner for Dr Hasnat and wanted to marry her, according to friends Diana used to love him by heart. Diana’s close friends also reported that she called him the “True Love” of her life and described him as real soul mate. Dr Hasnat also disclosed that Diana had also communicated their relationship’s matters with Jemima Goldsmith who was PM Imran Khan’s wife at that time.

After parting ways, Diana made headlines with Dodi Fayed who was an Egyptian film producer, both Dodi Al Fayed and Princess Diana died in a road accident in Paris in 1997. The life journey of Lady Diana ended in 1997.

Arooj Aftab is a 37-year-old Pakistani who started her music career from Lahore, she studied at Berkeley College of Music, USA and has released three solo albums so far. She is a brilliant music composer and singer who has gotten nominations for her song love. Arooj Aftab (born March 11, 1985), is a brilliant Pakistani vocalist, music composer and producer, her music genres are minimalist, jazz and neo-Sufi idioms.

Arooj Aftab learnt to play the guitar and started developing her voice through deep listening to various musicians such as Begum Akhtar. In the early 2000s, Aftab was one of the first musicians to use the internet to promote her music in Pakistan, her renditions of “Hallelujah” and “Mera Pyaar” went viral and earned her recognition among her fans.

Lately, Arooj Aftab has come into the news after fetching the nomination in Grammy awards. The Recording Academy has nominated Arooj Aftab for two Grammy Awards.

While talking about the main and most favorite character of the drama “Meenu” Saima shared that Meenu is inspired by a real-life character which is Misbah Nausheen the writer.

Eheshamuddin revealed that he as supposed to play Torah Khan which was later made immortal by Paras Masroor. He had asked at the time that he does not look like a Pathaan at all but when he came to know of the character’s back story, he got excited and wanted to play it but the dates could not be managed as he was making Udaari at the time and he lost that role.

The character of Salahuddin Ayyubi has been played by a Turkish actor Ugur Gunes.

The auditions for upcoming Pak-Turk joint drama series Salahuddin Ayubi are being conducted by the producers in which four popular Pakistani actors have made their place. The drama will feature the life of the great Muslim leader – Salahuddin Ayubi who was also known as Saladin in West.

Ushna Shah, Adnan Jilani, Farhan Agha, and Ayesha Omar, were the first actors who convincingly made their way to the series. The first round of auditions was held in Lahore and Karachi. It was reported that over 6,000 experienced and new actors applied for auditions but only 62 were selected for the drama. The series will be shown in Turkey and Pakistan at the same time.
Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed, Dr Kashif Ansari, and Dr Junaid Ali Shah are the producers of the drama along with their Turkish partners.

Adnan Siddiqui also said, “I am excited, I can feel it in my bones that this particular series will do wonders for Pakistanis.”

Yeh Dil Mera actor further added, “It will be opening doors for Pakistani actors in the international market and the only way we can penetrate the international market is through Turkey.”

Turkish producer Emre Konuk, owner of Akli Film also tweeted “A contract has been reached between Akli Films and Ansari & Shah Films regarding the upcoming Pak-Turk joint series.”
