She further shared, “You never know sometimes your drama is successful and other times it is a flop. Nothing in life is easy.”
Talking about her struggles, she shared, “I have worked very hard whether it’s my personal life or work life. When I had to live separately from my family it was very difficult because living alone is not easy. You have to take care of yourself because nobody is there to take care of you.”
“There was a time when my family was in a financial crisis and I was the only daughter who was earning that time.”
She talked about her father’s health condition and shared, “So I got to know that my father is not well and he has to go through a surgery which was pending from quite a long time so I transferred money to him. I couldn’t go because I was busy at work but then I went to meet him. I had major differences with my father but when I reached there he was telling everybody that Hina has paid money for my surgery and even he said that ‘I have two sons but my third son is Hina and she is my support’.”
Hina Altaf defines this as success and said, “This is a success for me and it is for everyone when a girl stands behind her parents and support them. That one sentence of my father made me strong. It is everything for me.”
Here is Hina Altaf’s journey:
Dushman e Jaan Episode 1 to 8 – An Overview
Ohkay so, writing of Sarwat Nazeer, director of Amin Iqbal & production of Six Sigma Plus; Dushman e Jaan is a soap opera which started airing on ARY digital on May 28, 2020. Dushman e Jaan’s story is in the initial stages, therefore every episode has a lot to offer because the plot & characters are being established. It is the kind of drama which has taken the viewers by surprise because of the unexpected twists & turns that came along. The drama which seemingly started on a simple note has now turned into a murder mystery & now with the case being filed & opened, it is promising to be more intense & engaging.
Cast & Characters
Hatim (Mohib Mirza) comes from an affluent but dysfunctional family. He is the only son of his parents Mr. & Mrs. Kamal (Imran Peerzada & Saba Hameed) but unfortunately, he grew up seeing them being an unhappy couple who had different ambitions & wanted completely different things from life. In this regard, Hatim found himself to be lonely & because his parents never had the luxury of time to spare for their only son. He has learned all those things which he is now trying hard to unlearn. Over the years, Hatim who seemingly carried a facade of being a sorted, strong & level-headed individual basically has harbored a lot of fears, complexes & shortcomings which have now become a part of his personality. Hatim’s character is layered & complex. He is quick to judge & feels entitled to form an opinion about others, especially women without even knowing them.
Ramsha (Tooba Siddique) the eldest daughter of the family takes the responsibility of keeping her family afloat. With her father Ehsan (Irfan Khoosat) becoming disabled & youngest brother Rameez suffering from kidney failure, Ramsha decides to bear the financial burden of her entire family. Ramsha also has a younger sister Rubab (Madiha Imam) who provides her relief & takes care of smallest things related to her because she acknowledges the hard work her eldest sister Ramsha does for all of them. Ramsha has grown to be thick-skinned, the circumstances shaped her character in such a way that she had to become self-sufficient, self-reliant & practical. Her entire family feels a lot for her because they know she is doing more than she should for each one of them. This humble family is all about love, respect & being considerate towards one another, which is heart-warming.
Ramsha happens to be engaged to her maternal cousin Zaheer (Mubarak Ali) but seeing the responsibilities she has towards her family, she decides to call the engagement off. A brief moment that she has with herself shows that she actually wanted to get married but because she put her family & their needs ahead of her, she had to take this decision keeping practicality in mind. At this stage of her life, she could not afford to walk away, leaving her family in the lurch, fending for themselves. Zaheer’s parents Abid (Mohsin Gillani) & Nighat get him engaged to Rubab. Zaheer wanted to get settled but Rubab is definitely not someone he wants to spend the rest of his life with, this is why he gets married to his colleague Rukhsana (Farah Tufail) & puts his parents in an awkward position!
Story So Far
The most interesting aspect of the drama definitely was Ramsha’s character & the way it was etched out by Sarwat Nazeer. Ramsha was selfless when it came to her family but she also knew how to walk on eggshells because the world outside the vicinity of her humble abode was very harsh & cruel. Ramsha always stayed dignified & chose to live life on her own terms. This is one attribute of hers which set her apart from the rest & probably also made her a recipient of undue judgments from the likes of Hatim!
Hatim happened to be a co-owner of the firm Ramsha worked at, therefore he & Ramsha got to interact a lot after her immediate boss went on a business trip. Hatim being a typical spoiled brat uses Ramsha to get out of a sticky marriage proposal situation that his parents had set for him & that’s when Mrs. Kamal sees something different in Ramsha feeling she might be the right person for Hatim. The way writer Sarwat Nazeer showed that despite being in a very dire situation, Ramsha chooses to side with the truth & does not take advantage of the deal that Mrs. Kamal proposes to her to bring her son Hatim closer to her, was a masterstroke. It is a rarity to find characters like Ramsha in Pakistani dramas & this is the reason, she was a breath of fresh air. The conversation that Mrs. Kamal & Ramsha had with each other, opening up about their fears, troubles & insecurities was one of the best conversations of this drama so far. It showed how two strong women were consoling each other & not only that, they understood their fair share of struggles.
Hatim & Ramsha both do not really have a good opinion regarding one another initially but after their regular interactions, they both start seeing each other in a very different light. Ramsha softens up to Hatim & Hatim learns that he was quick to judge her & she is more than what he perceived her to be. Unfortunately, Hatim misconstrues Ramsha’s niceness & assumes the change in her behavior is because of the amount his mother paid to her. That’s when Hatim lets the emotions get the better of him & he drops her off in the middle of nowhere. Sadly, after becoming a victim of physical violation, she ends up getting killed.
Dushman e Jaan’s script has been written in a typical Sarwat Nazeer fashion; it is simple but has its intense & gripping moments. Most of the times the scripts that are very straight-forward & have a few characters with strong personalities are enough to click with the audience & grab their interest. Dushman e Jaan’s strongest points are the twists & the turns that no one saw coming that too in the initial episodes. From this stage onward, the story is going to become predictable with Hatim & Rubab coming across each other, but the plot has been established in such a manner that it is already going to keep the viewers hooked because there happens to be an eye-witness who will eventually unveil Hatim’s indirect involvement in Ramsha’s death.
The Promising Aspects
Dushman e Jaan has offered a lot to viewers in the initial episodes, there are some sweet moments shared by siblings, some harsh ones shared by the unhappy couple. The depression of a man who is now left with nothing but regrets & he knows how his actions have led to a harmless girl losing her life. The more Hatim learns about Ramsha & her struggles for the sake of her family, the more he finds himself guilt-stricken. The writer has skillfully shown the impact the relationship of the parents & house dynamics leave on a child & how it then affects others & the society in general. Hatim on his own did not see any faults in him & he failed to acknowledge how he let the bitterness of his parents become a part of his personality that he mirrored it in his routine & daily interactions with others.
Hatim is now full of regrets & his mother is trying to do everything to bring him closer to her because even she realizes the time she has wasted & the damage her negligence towards her son has caused. Unfortunately, Ramsha won’t come back but now Hatim has to pay the price & do what it takes to redeem himself. Hatim is now going to get in touch with Ramsha’s family but will he be able to confess anytime soon, that is yet to be seen. I also feel Rubab’s character will emerge to be stronger, it is only now when she will be pushed to her limits, she will learn how much she can endure. She grew up seeing her sister Ramsha being so resilient, therefore it will be interesting to see Rubab evolving & turning into a stronger character.
The plot of Dushman e Jaan does remind me of Bollywood’s movie Tum Bin a lot, but there definitely are a lot of differences with the shift in the characters & their respective roles. Tooba Siddique was phenomenal as Ramsha, in fact it won’t be wrong to say that it was because of her character as well as her strong portrayal that I got interested in watching Dushman e Jaan. Mohib Mirza has done wonders as Hatim & he has outdid himself. I find it hard to remember any performance of Mohib Mirza in the past being this convincing & strong. The story is well written & the drama is well directed. The only fear is that stories like these should not drag & I hope the pace remains consistent – with Dushman e Jaan airing 4 times a week, that won’t be the issue unless they reduce the number of episodes per week. At this stage, Dushman e Jaan is definitely a drama that should be watched because of the quality content & beyond brilliant performances of all the main leads. The story is now going to be all about Hatim’s journey from regret to redemption, let’s see how it goes. Please share your thoughts about Dushman e Jaan.
Keep Supporting,
Cheers,
Zahra Mirza.

Sabaat Episode 11 Story Review – Realistic
This latest episode of Sabaat showed some character development and laid down the foundations for the much-needed progress in the story which we all have been waiting for. Hasan and Anaya finally got married. The ceremonies and everyone’s reactions were covered convincingly. This entire episode had a realistic feel to it. Miraal’s madness continued, her father was manipulated into siding with her yet again but the best part of this episode was Hasan and Anaya’s sweet relationship. The romance and their mature personalities made their scenes a treat to watch. Usman Mukhtar will finally make an appearance next week therefore all those viewers who initially tuned into this drama for him must watch the upcoming episode!
The Wedding
I really enjoyed watching a traditional wedding on-screen with the joota chupai and doodh pilai perhaps because the weddings we watch in dramas nowadays are covered differently. This entire wedding had a real feel to it, from the preparations to the actual function, it looked like these were scenes from an actual wedding. Anaya’s father’s fears were in a subtle manner translated on screen. It was also good to see Hasan’s father going ahead with everything genuinely until Miraal set the room on fire! This step by Miraal was extreme but it made perfect sense. Someone like her would actually do whatever it took to take things in her control.
In the previous episode, the viewers were shown how Miraal was losing her grip. In this episode, we watched the aftermath of everything she had been feeling for weeks. First Hasan and then Ali, she was more desperate than ever to show everyone what she was capable of doing if things did not go as she planned.
Hasan handled the situation in a mature manner. His character growth is much more convincing and likable now. Miraal’s father seems is actually scared of her now and does not want to face her ‘wrath’. Every time her father makes such decisions to please her, he gives her more control. That is how he must have contributed to making her the monster she is. Hasan covered up intelligently and ultimately with his mother’s support whatever Miraal did had little impact on their relationship.
I absolutely loved Mawra Hocane’s performance tonight especially when she was left alone after everyone rushed to call the rescue services. Anaya has always been shown as a sensible young lady therefore the fact she was willing to be more flexible made perfect sense. Anaya and Hasan’s scenes in her house showed that all they needed was each other to be happy, no big ceremonies. Their relationship also shows how easy it is for someone to be happy if they choose to enjoy little things in life, like a conversation or an interaction with someone you love. Hasan was equally lovable when he decided to go to Anaya’s place with her family members instead of his own car. These small gestures added more meaning to their scenes.
Miraal’s Madness
Miraal’s madness continued in this episode as well. The preview of the next episode made it quite clear why she was shown going crazier than ever! On the one hand, we have characters like Hasan and Anaya who find happiness in everything, and on the other hand there is Miraal who is constantly finding reasons to hate people. She is full of hatred and is simply incapable of loving anyone at all. Her friend is turning out to be her biggest supporter and that is obviously the only reason that she is with her all the time!
Miraal’s meeting with Ali’s mother showed how difficult it was for her to let go and move on. She really needs professional help, I am waiting to find out how she ultimately ends up getting the helps she so desperately is in need of! When Miraal was headed towards Ali’s house her thoughts suggested that she saw herself as the ‘victim’! I hope Miraal’s character development in the upcoming episode is worth the wait since for now, Miraal’s character lacks the layers needed to make it more appealing.
Final Remarks
Tonight’s episode of Sabaat was entertaining overall. Anaya and Hasan make a cute on-screen couple. It was also good to see Hasan’s mother playing an active role within the family set up since for the longest time her character did not have screen presence. I am sure many of you are looking forward to the next episode because of obvious reasons ;) I just hope that Usman Mukhtar does not make an entry in the last scene!

6 Pakistani Dramas That Are Copies of Bollywood Films
Pakistani drama industry has been ruling the hearts of the viewers for decades. Pakistani dramas have a huge fanbase in India and those who have always loved the sound of beautiful Urdu language have always enjoyed watching Pakistani content. The popularity of Pakistani dramas is unparalleled because it elaborates the realities of life and struggles of regular people in such a manner that it makes it very easy for people to relate to what is being shown, irrespective of the sides of the border they are at.
The arts and cultural exchange is always good for countries because it easily shows people the societal norms and values of the country. It also promotes a different image of the country and allows people an insight into Pakistan and the lives of Pakistani people. Over the years, Pakistani drama-makers have succeeded in making a name for themselves, they have come up with one good script after another which has impressed the viewers and left an impact. Pakistani dramas are highly appreciated and widely watched all over Pakistan, but now with the ease of online uploads, the viewership has transcended the borders and citizens of India are always seen appreciating Pakistani dramas and content as well.
This puts a lot more responsibility on the shoulders of Pakistani writers and drama makers to come up with better and different subjects, concepts and stories in order to continue to impress the vast number of viewers who look forward to the quality content. Pakistani drama writers have proved their mettle by coming up with such scripts that are relevant to Pakistani dynamics, however over the years, there have also been some of those drama-makers who have resorted to an easy way out and have straight away copied the content from Bollywood movies to turn them into a Pakistani drama.
There are a handful of concepts which are tweaked in order to come up with a story, whereas the baseline remains the same. This is why at times some parts of different dramas and stories end up being similar to other dramas or movies. However, when everything ends up looking similar, it turns out to be a blatant case of copying and plagiarism. One fails to understand that at this stage where Pakistani drama industry is growing, making a name for itself and is touching new levels of success with each passing project, why do the drama-makers feel the need to copy or lift the ideas from Bollywood movies – that too which have been widely viewed by the vast majority of the Indian as well as Pakistani audiences.
Here are those Pakistani dramas which are inspired from Bollywood movies:
Noor ul Ain
Noor ul Ain aired in 2018 on ARY Digital. This drama was written by Edison Idrees Masih and it did not take the viewers a lot of time to figure out that the entire story, main theme as well as the characters were lifted from Bollywood’s superhit movie Saathiya, released in 2003. What shocked the Pakistani viewers the most were the big names that were associated with this project. Names like Sarmad Khoosat, Imran Abbas, Sajal Aly, Marina Khan – one failed to understand why did they all agree to do a project which was a copy of Bollywood movie Saathiya?
Saathiya’s story was different and relevant to the youngsters who fall hard in love, this is why it was a superhit movie of the time. The story of the movie was such that it was fit to be shown within the span of 2 – 3 hours but to turn it into a 24 week saga, with the character of Noor ul Ain as plain as ceiling and as emotionless as a rubber duck did not do the viewers any favor. The writer tried to give it a Pakistani drama touch by adding a character of negative chachi who brainfeeds Noor ul Ain to get married behind her parent’s back but that also did not cover up the fact that it was a copy. This is the reason this drama, despite the dream team, did not make an impact.
Dil Banjara
Dil Banjara was written by Faiza Iftikhar and aired on Hum TV in 2016. Dil Banjara’s entire story was a copy of Bollywood’s Blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayeinge which was released in 1995. Story of a girl who belongs to a conservative background but goes on a trip abroad, meets a guy, falls in love with him despite being engaged and eventually after all the obstacles and hardships that stand in their way, she eventually gets married to him. The writer tried to add another angle by showing that the guy too had commitments to his cousin who loved him and got paralyzed in an accident but it was just a side track which did not conceal the striking resemblance of Dil Banjara’s story to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayeinge.
Cheekh
Cheekh was written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and aired on ARY Digital in 2019. Cheekh drama did well in terms of popularity in Pakistan but as the promos started releasing, it did not take people a lot of time to figure out that the story of this drama was lifted from Bollywood’s classic Damini which was released in 1993. Damini was a blockbuster movie of its time and left such an impact that the viewers still remembered it and knew the entire theme of Cheekh was copied.
It was a story of the struggles Damini goes through when she challenges the powerful and files a case charging their son of raping the member of the house staff. In Cheekh, the Pakistani version, it was a friend who wages a war against her brother in law for harassing and killing her best friend, although there was no rape case in this drama. Cheekh’s star cast ended up contributing a lot towards its success and the drama ended on a high note, but to this day, the fact remains that the story was not an original idea and was very much copied from Bollywood movies.
Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida
Mohabbat Tujhe Alivda has been written by Abdul Khaliq Khan and is going to air on Hum TV on June 15, 2020. Although this drama has not even started but the promos have been enough for the viewers to see that it is a blatant copy of Bollywood’s superhit movie Judaai which was released in 1997. Judaai was a star-studded movie with a very different theme where a wife makes a deal with a girl to get her married to her husband for a hefty amount of money.
Judaai has been widely watched and liked by both Indian and Pakistani audiences, therefore to come up with a dramatized version of the movie after so many years is still a bad idea. In the promos alone, it is evident that not only the story is a copy but Sonya Hussyn herself is trying to copy the antics of Sri Devi who played the role of Anil Kapoor’s first wife in Judaai. Mansha Pasha is playing the role of Urmila Matondkar and Zahid Ahmed of course is Anil Kapoor in this copied version of the story.
Izteraab
Izteraab drama was written by Amna Mufti and aired on Hum TV in 2014. It was a copy of Bollywood’s movie We Are Family which was released in 2010. The story of this drama revolves around a terminally ill mother of two and because of the current situation, the man of the house gets married so that the step mother can look after his children and family after the wife passes away. We Are Family itself was a copy of Hollywood movie Step mother but in that drama, the man introduces his girlfriend to the family. In Pakistani drama, the supposedly helpless man finds himself getting attracted to the young girl who cooks delicious food and gets married to her behind her wife’s back. Eventually things work out in his favor because the first wife gives in. The drama did not attain much popularity but got known for being a copy of a Bollywood movie.
Koi Nahi Apna
Koi Nahi Apna aired on ARY Digital in 2014. It was a story of an unhappy wife who eventually takes separation from her husband and leaves the daughter with the father. That’s when the entire angle of a single father kicks in. This entire concept of Koi Nahi Apna was a copy of Bollywood’s Akele Hum Akele Tum, which was released in 1995. The only difference was that in the drama, the couple had a girl, whereas in the Indian movie, Amir Khan takes care of his son single-handedly. The drama as well as the movie ends on the note of the couple reconciling and living happily ever after.
These are the Pakistani dramas the stories of which have been copied by Bollywood movies. Do you think Pakistani drama writers should take inspiration from Bollywood movies or should steer away from blatant copying and plagiarism? Does it help the Pakistani drama industry grow in any way? Feel free to share your opinion in the comment section below.

#Wahiyat Dramay is Trending Number One On Twitter For All The Right Reasons
There was a time when Pakistani drama Industry was over-ornated in fabricating Iconic dramas like Tanhaiyan, Dhoop Kinary, Ankahi, Waris, Dhuwan, Alif Noon, Anghan Terha and many more, these drama haven’t lost their ethos till now and are still loved by people more than many of our new age conventional dramas.
If we look 10 to 15 years back we will still found dramas like Bezuban and others throwing shades on taboos of our society. These dramas had fecund content and a pragmatic message to convey.
Talking about the current content proposed by our dramas we sadly add here that there are a few factors that are ruling our drama industry which includes sister rivalry-factor, Talaaq-factor, Dusri Shadi-factor, Thappad-factor and Zalim Saas/Bahu-factor, these factors almost sums up most of our dramas.
What is the impact of these dramas? What are they promoting? Is this all we have to show? Every year there are hardly a couple of dramas that promotes something lone, rest all are same.
Recently the teaser of drama serial Jalan are released. The teasers clearly indicated that the plot revolves around a stubborn girl falling in love with her very own brother-in-law. The drama is criticized a lot by the public. People are now raising the question that what culture these dramas are promoting.
There are a lot of the senseless dramas running on our Television and side by side there is Ertugrul with a strong message and a brawny story line delivering a constructive message. Why would people not love such a drama? There are no two truths in the fact that Ertugrul makes more sense than majority of our dramas, which is why it is loved by the public as well.
Our nation is now fed up with all such baseless drams, we really want dramas that are constructive and meaningful not the same vague and vulgar dramas this is exactly what the latest trend of twitter say. #واہیات_ڈرامے is the trending number one on twitter today.
Here we have a few tweets of people representing their thoughts about our drama culture.

10 Best Scenes From Recent Pakistani Dramas 2020
Pakistani dramas have always been popular because of how close they are to reality and portray such scenarios which strike a chord for the viewers. The scenarios and situations presented are as such that each and every viewer at times find it very easy to relate to what is being shown and they often see their life story or similar experiences that they have had being elaborated in dramas. This aspect has been of utmost importance in Pakistani dramas where the talented writers and drama makers bring the touch of reality in every drama and don’t show any such scenarios which are not a depiction of what actually people go through.
The story of every drama is elaborated with the help of scenes and scenarios, this is how the story is carried forward and shows the skill-set of the drama makers. The factors that make any scene work are emotions that they evoke in the viewers, good dialogues, the entire setting and also the build up towards the turning point of the story. In recent dramas, Pakistani drama viewers and fans have come across some of the best scenes which were engaging and became unforgettable due to the way they were executed.
Let’s take a look at the 10 best scenes from recent Pakistani dramas:
The Confrontation Between Meer Farooq Zaman & Humera (Ye Dil Mera)
This was one such scene of Ye Dil Mera that will be remembered for a long long time because of the impact that it made. The display of acting in this scene by Adnan Siddique and Zarnish Khan is praise-worthy. They actually made the viewers understand what was running through their minds. Meer Farooq Zaman tried to harass Humera, the one who was his first love. Humera had moved on and after coming across Meer Farooq Zaman once again, she knew she made the right decision of not accepting his proposal in the first place. The refusal in the past followed by another refusal in the present made Meer Farooq Zaman cross all the limits and although he went to plead his case, he pushed Humera to detest him even more. This scene between Humera and Meer Farooq Zaman was nail-biting. Zarnish Khan outdid herself, making this one of the best scenes of the entire drama.

Praying For Guidance (Kashf)
This scene from Kashf was definitely one of the best scenes from all the episodes that have aired so far. The prayer of Kashf was well-worded and Hira Mani’s performance made it look so sincere and genuine. Kashf knew what she was getting into and after seeing how people were putting her on such a pedestal that she was not worthy of, Kashf decided to pray as well as remind herself yet again that she had no power over anything. The spirituality followed by the truth in Kashf’s speech made this scene beautiful and memorable.
The Deal Between Ramsha & Hatim’s Mother (Dushman e Jaan)
Ramsha’s character in Dushman e Jaan was a breath of fresh air. She was head-strong and opinionated but what set her apart was her sense of distinguishing between right and wrong. This is why she found herself in such an awkward position where although she came to make a deal with Hatim’s mother for a handsome amount of money which again she wanted for her family, she could not find herself stooping so low. This was one of the best moments of Dushman e Jaan where instead of making a deal, then and there, Ramsha not only reminded herself about the wrong she was about to commit and instead she made things right by promising Hatim’s mother to help her get close to her son. The dialogues in this scene were written beautifully, it showed how two women were sincerely promising to help one another.
Shanzay Giving a Piece of Her Mind (Ghalati)
In this entire drama, Shanzay’s character succeeded in leaving an impression. She was unapologetically honest and this is why she did not hesitate in showing people a mirror based on the accurate observations she made about them. Shanzay got married into a family which was already in a messy situation but unfortunately, because all the children followed their mother’s lead, they found themselves in a deepest pit as the days passed by. Shanzay knew she could not undo whatever had happened but she did not mind showing them a different perspective every chance she got. She was head-strong and independent but she also showed that she was not selfish because she genuinely wanted her husband’s sisters to not ruin their lives by making wrong choices. All the scenes of Shanzay giving a piece of her mind to her in-laws were some of the best ones from the drama and this one is no different.

Amaan Telling The Truth To Noor ul Ain (Ye Dil Mera)
There is no doubt about the fact that both Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly have given phenomenal performances in this drama. It is due to their pairing that Ye Dil Mera has reached the level of popularity and success. The story of this drama has been different but the acting of Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly has taken it to another level. They have shared some of the strongest scenes in this entire drama but this one is going to stay with the viewers for a long time because this was ‘the moment’ when Noor ul Ain finds out about her father and all the grudges her husband Amaanullah has against Meer Farooq Zaman. The ambiance created in this scene was another tick to make this scene one of the best from the drama.

The Cutest Apology (Pyaar Ke Sadqay)
Pyaar Ke Sadqay has wowed the viewers and fans of Bilal Abbas Khan and Yumna Zaidi. The kind of performances they have given to elevate the level of this uniquely written script dealing with such a sensitive subject is unprecedented. Yumna Zaidi is one of the finest actors of the Pakistani industry and Bilal Abbas Khan has already proved his mettle in such a short span of time, this is why their hard work and brilliant performances have made Pyaar Ke Sadqay what it is. This scene happens to be one of the best scenes of the drama because of the beauty with which the emotions were conveyed with Abdullah apologizing to Mahjabeen and showcasing how much he loved her.
The Promise Between Hassan and Anaya (Sabaat)
This was one of the sweetest scenes of Sabaat. Although the story of Sabaat mostly revolves around Hassan’s sister Miraal but the few scenes for which he gets the coverage, they are enough to make the viewers smile. The love story of Hassan and Anaya had an unusual start but it was interesting to see how gradually they both fell for each other. In this scene, Hassan decided to make Anaya understand that he should not be punished for the unpleasant behavior displayed by his father. Hassan’s genuine and sincere plea wins Anaya’s heart and they both make a promise. Although this sweet moment is ruined by Miraal but in the end, the assurance Anaya gives to Hassan while completely ignoring Miraal was the best part of this overall best scene.
Hatim’s Regret (Dushman e Jaan)
This is not the first time when Mohib Mirza has played a negative role but in Dushman e Jaan he has impressed the viewers to no end. He has embraced the character of Hatim to the T and has done justice to all the shades of his personality. Hatim is a disturbed lonely child who comes from a dysfunctional family, therefore he has harbored a lot of inner demons that he finds himself fighting with all the time. Hatim is guilty of seeing things from his perspective and not giving Ramsha a chance, therefore what has happened to her has a lot to do with the wrong decision he took in a spur of the moment. The regret, pain and aguinsh of Hatim was phenomenally conveyed by Mohib Mirza, making it one of the best scenes of Dushman e Jaan.
Aiza Standing Up For Her Sister (Bikhray Moti)
In times like these where it has become quite common to see damsel in distress in every other Pakistani drama, everyone loves an opinionated female lead, standing up for the rights of the oppressed and calling spade a spade. Bikhray Moti is in the initial stages but the character of Aiza is enough to make it promising. She is someone who can not stand oppression in any shape or form, this is why every time she saw her sister giving authority to her husband over her, it riled Aiza up. Her sister was in an abusive relationship and ended up losing her life, but when she was alive, Aiza did all she could to extend her support to her elder sister; even if it meant coming face to face with her brother in law to tell him off.
Sisters In Law Consoling Each Other (Kashf)
The story of Kashf is different and has caught the attention of drama buffs. There are a lot of aspects that have been brought to the forefront in this drama, but the one that makes the viewers connect to the characters on a personal level is by showing their struggles. The writer of this drama has also broken a stereotype by showing that two sisters in law can also be of an emotional support to one another. They can help each other in times of need and feel for each other. This equation shared by Dilshad and Ayesha in the drama serial Kashf is not only refreshing but perspective altering as well.
This completes the list of 10 best scenes from the recent Pakistani dramas. Which one of these dramas are you following? Did you enjoy these scenes? Feel free to share your opinion in the comment section below.

While everybody told her it was impossible to find her phone, I gave her hope that she’d find it and luckily at that very instant, she did,” shared Yasir adding that they had gone back to their hotels after that and he had dropped Iqra back alongside Saheefa Jabbar Khattak and Hira Mani.
Yasir then confided in Iffat Omar that he had known that very moment that Iqra was the one for him. And they had begun to hang out together in Houston.
“Although even Iqra knew about it, she didn’t accept it until very late,” said Yasir adding that he had been immensely impressed by Iqra’s mother and her nature and thought that she would be very much like her.
“I clearly told Iqra that I intended to make it official with her. We have an age gap of 10-11 years so it wouldn’t look good if I dated her and took her out on dates. So I straight away proposed and it was accepted,” added Yasir stating how he, being the expressive one had been the first one to express his liking to Iqra.
Iqra and Yasir together make an adorable couple and look very beautiful together. Currently the duo can be seen in ARY Digital’s Jhooti.
