Former first lady of Pakistan Begum Kulsoom Nawaz passed away earlier this week due to her cancer. Her funeral was held in London before she was brought to Pakistan where she had another funeral and was buried in Lahore yesterday. Irsa Ghazal took a break from television in mid 1990’s and made a comeback in 2008-2009, and now she is regularly appearing in dramas in character roles like ‘Rishtay Kucch Adhoray se’ and ‘Kahi Unkahi’.

Ismat Tahira’s son Shah Sharabeel is a director and producer in theatre mainly serious theatre. He has produced and directed many theatre plays like ‘Tom, Dick and Harry’, ‘You only marry twice’.

Recently Faysal Qureshi said on his show that he does not believe in totkas for losing weight but he did not really demean anyone. He also supported what he said with logic which made perfect sense. Nida Yasir however it seems took Faysal’s comment about morning show hosts making a fool out of people by recommending these totkas personally.

Although Nida did not address Faysal directly but the timing of what she said was such that one can easily presume that she might have been giving Faysal a reply. While talking on her show about the effectiveness of herbal remedies she supported her claim with some personal experiences. She said that she meets people all the time who criticize her for recommending herbal remedies because they believe that such remedies are useless.

In Sanam Baloch’s latest episode of her morning show which airs on SAMA TV she brought in an expert to educate people on how to heal their dry cracked heels naturally. She stated that potato is a natural organic bleaching agent it can be used to not only get clear skin but it also has healing effects on wounds as cracked heels often turn into wounds.

She further added that for a manicure we dip our feet in water and afterwards apply so many creams in order to get results but potato can give you same results without all this fuss.

Explaining the procedure she said that make a potato paste using water and raw potato not a boiled one. Take two tablespoon of this paste and add it in the tub you would be dipping your feet in later. Then add one teaspoon of baking soda and one tablespoon shampoo. In the end add some water and keep your feet in it for five minutes. Afterwards just clean your feet.

To keep your cracked heels from getting infected wear socks and do not walk without shoes.

Actress Mizna Waqas came on Nida Yasir’s show and shared stories about her father and how much love she had gotten from her father.

Mizna shared that his father married twice. Mizna and her two other siblings are kids from the first marriage while her father also had two kids from his second marriage. Mizna shared with Nida Yasir that her household had a very normal feeling. There was never any rivalry among the two wives of his father or among children. Many people cannot even guess that they are the children of two mothers as they get along so well.
