Tonight’s episode of Pyar Ke Sadqay laid the foundation for future developments. Mahjabeen’s innocence and her reactions continue to be the most likable part of this drama. Abdullah appears to be much wiser in comparison to Mahjabeen. Both of them have their strengths and weaknesses, together they make an adorable on-screen couple. I am disappointed with Mansoora after watching this episode but I am glad that the writer is showing gradual changes in her character. Everything was shown realistically tonight, the performances never disappoint. Shanzay’s husband-to-be is turning out to be an annoying character, you wonder why she accepted this proposal since she was shown as a sensible young lady. The actor playing the role makes the character even more annoying if it really was someone with some ‘class’ everything would have made more sense. Apart from the excessive background score in the last scene and Shanzay’s track, everything about this episode was perfect.
Mahjabeen and Abdullah are Adorable
I loved the opening scene since Mahjabeen took the lead and rightly so! It is really amusing how Mahjabeen takes everything someone says to her so seriously. This is one of those character traits which actually worked in her favor tonight. She remembered what Mansoora said to her and because of that she has a new-found confidence. Her biggest insecurity was that someone might ask her to leave the house, now that she knows that no one can do that, she can exercise more control in her own way. Mahjabeen is all emotions yet she forgives so easily. Yumna Zaidi looked really pretty in the pink dress and her attempts to make Abdullah pay for his mistake were simply adorable. The excessive background score, however, was slightly annoying since this scene was quite long.
Abdullah was disturbed for some time but his attitude when he came back home suggested that he had a difficult time doubting Mahjabeen. Abdullah is naive and also gullible. He listens to Sarwar more than he should. He uses his own mind and often he draws the right conclusions but somehow he acts on Sarwar’s advice more than whatever he concludes himself. Bilal Abbas Khan has given such a convincing performance throughout. Yumna Zaidi and Bilal Abbas Khan’s on-screen chemistry is a big reason why their scenes are always a treat to watch.
Mansoora and Washma tried to ‘educate’ Mahjabeen and Abdullah in this episode. It is good that they have a lot of positive people around them who are always giving them sound advice. The romance it seems has started and it remains to be seen how soon these two truly fall for each other. It is great watching a love story which involves such characters, there is no ego at play, both of them are innocent and gullible at the same time. They have their strengths and weaknesses which makes both these characters appealing in their own unique way.
Mansoora and Sarwar
Mansoora yet again has gone back to being swayed away by her husband’s charm. She showed her discontent and also for the first time set some boundaries. Unlike before she did not sit back and watch Sarwar tell Abdullah what he should be doing but at the same time yet again she let her husband manipulate her to some degree. She was clearly hurt when Abdullah confided in her but her reaction was not as strong as I was expecting it to be. One thing is for sure, Mansoora does not show her actual emotions or even what she is thinking. She is much wiser now, something she said to Sarwar too indirectly but at the same time, she is choosing not to confront Sarwar, which is actually quite realistic.
The fact that Mansoora is completely smitten by her charming husband has been laid down well therefore it won’t be easy for her to change her attitude towards him completely overnight. I find Mansoora’s character more interesting than all the other supporting characters right now. It is a well-etched-out grey character, we don’t get to see such characters n our dramas often. Also, she picks her fights wisely knowing fully well that letting Sarwar go is not easy for her. Atiqa Odho has translated every single emotion impeccably on screen. The director deserves credit for making sure that the camera catches all of these emotions.
The change in Sarwar’s attitude after Mansoora shared her point of view with her showed that Mansoora could have things her way if she put her foot down more often. Sarwar acted naively yet again and he also manipulated his wife with the ‘step-father’ dialogue. No one has mentioned Abdullah’s position and the table he was given in the office. Mansoora did what she wanted to, she did not feel the need to ‘discuss’ this with Sarwar. Last week it seemed that she was only going to go forward but it will take something huge for her to take a big decision.
Mansoora’s dialogue about the house being her kids’ was my favorite tonight. It went to show that although she ended up falling for the wrong man, she is not foolish. She is wise enough to get a lot of messages across without directly confronting Sarwar. Her husband obviously knows how to win her approval. Sarwar definitely lives a sad life! Omair Rana never fails to impress. I am waiting to see if Sarwar will confront Abdullah at some point. Mansoora could have easily told him off without telling him that Abdullah shared this secret with her. Sarwar’s conversations with his mothers are being used intelligently as a means to communicate his true feelings with the viewers.
The actor playing Shanzay’s is really irritating! It would have been good if someone like Omair Rana was playing this character. The writer through this track is obviously trying to show that in a way Shanzay is being punished for telling Abdullah off. Now she has someone in her life who does not value her and thinks she is not good enough. Honestly speaking, I feel that Shanzay was only being honest with Abdullah, and in a way she did him a favor. She was however insensitive at times therefore the writer is probably trying to show that what goes around comes around. I find this track slightly immature so far but I am waiting to see how it progresses in the future.
Final Remarks
Pyar Ke Sadqay is my favorite drama right now because of its beautiful characters and scenes which are almost always meaningful. Every episode has some substantial development. The preview of the next episode was enticing. Looking forward to the effect Washma’s words have on Abdullah. I am also wondering what Sarwar’s next move will be.

Whether its a damsel in distress or an iron lady, Ayeza portrays each character with a flair of her own. She recently owned the negative character of Mehwish in the iconic drama serial Meray Paas Tum Ho.
However, despite being such a successful television actress, Ayeza Khan has never really looked towards films. She didn’t do any opposite her husband Danish Taimoor and expresses no future plans for doing a film.
Although the reason might have changed for Ayeza now, but her initial response about why she never did a film, from a show has made Ayeza stand on a pedestal for all her fans.
Talking to HSY, Ayeza stated,” I love films, those totally commerical ones where there’s singing and dancing and the heroine also wears those lehenga and choli, and I would never wear such clothes myself.”
Upon enquiring by the host why she wouldn’t wear clothes like that Ayeza added, “I don’t like them and also because our audience wouldn’t like them. They wouldn’t want to see me like that.”
The talk show also revealed that Ayeza had been offered two Bollywood films and she turned them down saying, “What I cannot do here, why would I go it somewhere else?
Currently Ayeza Khan can be seen in ARY Digital’s Thora Sa Haq oppostite Imran Abbas and Geo Entertainment’s Meherposh alongside husband Danish Taimoor.

The drama enjoyed a lot of fan following and appraises all over the world as its seasons are already available on Netflix. However, the Pakistani government took a major step in broadcasting its seasons on its official channel PTV with it Urdu Translation. Just a few days of its being on-air, the Pakistani Audience could not resist but to fall in love with it, completely.
Having been said so, let us now talk about the lead role of Ertugrul which is played by Engin Altan Düzyatan. Engin Altan was born in Turkey on 26th July 1979 and was fond of acting on stages since he was young. It was for his love for acting that he participated in all the events of his school and officially studied theatre from Dokuz Eylül University.
Engin is now all known for his unavoidable powerful role of Erugrul but that’s not all. He has done many movies with his debut on the television series Ruhsar. Ohkay so, this was quite an intense episode of Ye Dil Mera. Finally, it is that stage of the story where everything is falling in its place but is being revealed at the right time. In this episode in particular, I felt I enjoy the to & fro between the past & the present. Now when we all know that the drama is about to end with only a few episodes left, it is coming out as a proper approach of the director to unveil everything slowly. Yes, there is no denying to the fact that this drama actually could’ve ended without the filler episodes & unnecessary prolonging but at this moment, it feels that every episode till it ends is going to be a good one. Oh, did you all know Farhana Khala could sense that Ali Baksh will do everything in his might to stop an interaction between her & Nargis Bua?
Farhana Khala Knew Ali Baksh Would Sever Her Ties With Nargis Bua
The surprising part of this episode was the scene where suddenly Nargis Bua & Farhana Khala came together out of nowhere. I think they should’ve at least shown a scene where they had spoken to each other with Farhana telling Nargis Bua that she is coming to Pakistan from Amreeeeeeeeekkkkka. The way their timings matched seemed more like a coincidence & felt out of the blue. Nargis Bua herself was on her way to Islamabad from Sukkhur, so they shouldn’t have shown that she met Farhana Khala just like that. Later it was figurable that Nargis Bua went to the airport to pick Farhana Khala up & then she wanted to go see Meer Farooq to tell him everything about Ana. Farhana Khala’s dialogues were so repetitive that I actually lost count of how many times she discussed that Ali Baksh or even Meer Farooq would make sure Nargis Bua doesn’t stay in touch with Farhana.
Nargis Bua also had some repetitive dialogues up her sleeves. She actually told Farhana about Ana being in trouble. Once again, Nargis Bua is doubting Amaan without even giving any sort of consideration to the fact that Amaan is entitled to avenge his family’s murder because Meer Farooq is the murderer. However, it is understandable that at this stage she is only concerned about Ana’s well being because she thinks Amaan is going to stoop to Meer Farooq’s level & harm Ana.
Amaan finally confessed that was in his heart for Ana. He wanted her to have clarity about his intentions while still bearing in mind that he is not lying about Meer Farooq & is going to do everything to destroy him. Ana’s situation is perplexing but still, it is unfortunate that even at this stage of the story, she has not shown any mental growth. Even after a few episodes, I am still figuring out how she is going to prove her father’s innocence with her nose as red as a pinocchio & while being disconnected with the rest of the world. It is not like the evidence of Meer Farooq’s innocence is going to fall from the tree in her lap & she gets to marofy it to Amaan’s muh – another repetitive dialogue of the entire drama. Ana still thinks her father is going to rescue her & protect her, however she should’ve dwelled more into the thoughts that ran through her mind after she had a dream & recalled everything Meer Farooq used to say to her to make her forget what she saw – basically lying to her & telling her what she saw had nothing to do with the reality. A little reminder: Farhana Khala knew Ali Baksh or even Meer Farooq would severe her ties with Nargis Bua if they found out.
Amaan got ahead with another plan of his to bring Meer Farooq down. This was probably the last thing he had against Meer Farooq before revealing his real identity. The testimony of Mrs. Humayun was enough to shake Meer Farooq further. He was already finding it hard to deal with the fact that Ana was missing & now on top of that, Amaan played his cards well. This is the sheer mental & emotional torture that Amaan must’ve been planning for ages & with Meer Farooq committing yet another henious crime of framing his employee, Amaan must’ve gotten a hold of all the details to use it to his advantage. Also, did you know Farhana Khala was scared & made sure to let Nargis Bua know that Ali Baksh & Meer Farooq were not going to allow them to be in touch?
The Highlight of The Episode
Amaan appeared out of nowhere in front of Meer Farooq to re-introduce himself. That scene was definitely the highlight & one of the best scenes of the entire drama. Ahad Raza Mir & Adnan Siddique both were phenomenal in that scene. Amaan knew what he was saying while making sure that Meer Farooq understood each & every word of his. He was clear & loud so that Meer Farooq doesn’t misconstrue or assume what he was hearing wasn’t the truth. Meer Farooq now understood that Amaan has his reasons & he, in no way is going to backtrack. He has started the war & he is going to make sure he sees the end of it. Meer Farooq didn’t even beat around the bush & told Ali Baksh everything because they both knew that Amaan was Mani & the names he mentioned were of those who were the victims of their mercilessness & brutality.
The episode surprisingly took another exciting turn when Nargis Bua connected the dots & figured out that Amaan must’ve taken Ana to Daryabagh. Nargis Bua also knows that Daryabagh’s the place that both Amaan & Ana have in common, therefore she knew her instinct couldn’t be wrong. It is anyways good that Farhana Khala is going to be with Nargis Bua. It will also give her some support in dire times like these because being a vulnerable old lady, she would’ve never gotten to Ana on her own. It is like history is repeating itself where Nargis Bua was always with Nilofer Baji & now she is with Farhana Khala. At first Nargis Bua didn’t believe in sharing the secret but now when she will get to spend time with Farhana Khala, she will obviously be reminded of Nilofer’s misfortune & she will eventually end up telling her all the secrets because Nargis Bua will see the sincerity & eagerness in Farhana to know about her sister’s death.
Final Thoughts
This episode of Ye Dil Mera has perfectly set the tone of the closure this drama is going to get. Now all there’s left for the viewers to know is how actually Nilofer died & the actual scenario which Ana keeps on seeing through her dreams. Sajal Aly definitely has performed to her full potential as Ana, she has even made some of the emotional scenes memorable because of her phenomenal acting, however when it comes to the character of Ana, it remains unimpressive. Yes, she has been raised in such an over-protective environment but after being married to Amaan, she should’ve shown some growth. Her character needed some evolving which didn’t happen & probably wouldn’t even matter at this stage of the drama because now it is purely about Amaanullah & Meer Farooq. Ahad Raza Mir & Adnan Siddique were flawless in their portrayal & display of emotions in tonight’s episode. Good to see Abdur Rehman Baba will be making an entry in the next episode as well.
