Apart from phenomenal expressions and performances by Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed’s character Danish has been standing out for his performance in the 11th episode. Humayun delivered spot on, whatever was required from Danish after he discovered that his wife had cheated on him and now had decided to leave him for good.
Taking to his social media, Humayun Saeed penned down a heartfelt thank you note for all his viewers.
“Humbled, greatly, greatly humbled by the outpour of love and appreciation following last night’s episode of Mera Pass Tum Ho. Can’t thank Allah enough for the overwhelming feedback and all the praise. Thank you Khalil Sahab for writing such beautiful lines. Thank you Nadeem Baig for the impeccable direction and thank you my co-stars, Ayeza, Adnan and little Shees (who is playing Rumi) for allowing me to react as I have to your remarkable acting,” wrote Humayun Saeed on his Instagram.
Adding further that the overwhelming response had made him feel as if he had given the last episode of his career, Humayun Saeed stated, “Thank you all for your unwavering support over all these years and especially for all the words of kindness for my act of Danish. Need your prayers for my future projects.”
Humayun Saeed was especially praised for his expressions and his acting following the scenes where Shahwar showed Danish pictures of his wife in a pink night dress. Humayun’s expressions as Danish were enough to convey Danish’s pain and the dialogues the scene had were simply beautiful, heartbreaking to say the least. Viewers have been pouring praise and adoration for the actor and the entire team of Meray Pass Tum Ho, more so after last week’s episode.

English is a really hard language to learn as one word can have different meanings, can be pronounced differently and even spelled different. For example, bear and bare sound the same but have entirely different means and necessarily used in the same context. Most people can’t speak English fluently but learning the language perfectly can help secure good jobs all around the world. Once you’re dedicated to learning the language, you’ll pick it up in no time at all.

You can read any kind of novel, whether it is sci-fi, romance, etc. Novels are not only interesting but the way they portray a story can help you into creatively writing English as well. On the other hand, experienced journalists and writers contribute to the daily newspaper which means we can pick up everyday sentences and learn the gist of grammar, punctuation, etc.
Look up meanings of new words in the dictionary
When you hear or read a new word, look up the meaning in the dictionary and try incorporating it in your everyday sentences. Many words have synonyms which can easily be used interchangeably and make one sound way more smarter.

An efficient and fun way to learn the language is to trick yourself by listening to the language and thinking about what the words mean, you can further fit them into sentences and than search them up to see whether you were right or wrong with the meaning.
Take online courses
Enroll yourself into online courses for better understanding on the language. Taking an online course will mean the same as being in a classroom, you’ll have material to study, tests to give and so on. This will keep you motivated and passionate to get a fine grip on the language.
Make it a routine to speak in English everyday
To get fluent in the language, make it a routine to speak in English everyday preferably to people who can’t speak Urdu so you don’t switch between languages. This way you’ll be talking continuously in a flow which will improve your speed alongside making you fluent in English.
Play English word games
Playing word games such as Scrabble or completing crossword puzzles will get you thinking about English words and their meanings. Playing games is a fun activity to boost your confidence in the language and you’re much likely to learn English faster.

We all love experimenting with skin products and makeup. But how many of us are aware of the components inside them or the different uses of various products? Not many, I’m sure. Here’s a list of skin and makeup facts and hacks you should know about:
Lead is a dangerous chemical element which can cause a lot of health problems and even death. Lead can be found in most cosmetics such as lipstick, foundation, etc. Popular makeup companies such as Maybelline, Revlon, etc have been exposed to having lead in their products.
The USA has no laws regarding safety of cosmetic products such as labeling them “cruelty free” or “not tested” on animals which means a lot of products maybe incorrectly labeled. You never know what you’re putting onto your skin.
Coconut oil is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and contains Vitamin E along with healthy fats which help to make skin smooth. Coconut oil helps remove makeup faster than micellar water, which is a makeup removing cleanser.
Oil based creams and foundations contain a large number of components that clog pores and take a longer while to penetrate into the skin thus making skin feel heavier and greasier. Oil based products are mostly recommended to individuals with dry skin and not oily skin. Silicone based foundations act as a built in primer which control shiny skin and give one a mattifying look. You can achieve a smooth finish with this type of foundation. Water based foundations are perfect for oily skin as they control oils, do not clog pores and allows the skin to breathe. They also give a very natural finish to your skin.
Olive oil contains useful vitamins A,D, E and K which penetrate deeply into the skin and cleanse it. Olive oil mixed with lemon juice and applied to the face for half an hour can also help in achieving fresh, glowing skin.
If you have run out of eye primer, applying white pencil as a base for your eyeshadow can enhance the color and make it pop. White pencil can also be used in the inner corners of the eyes, on the brow bone and inside the waterline for bigger, fuller eyes.
When applied to the skin, vaseline forms a thin, impermeable film. Thanks to this, the dermis does not lose it’s moisture. Some people even use vaseline as a moisturizer when they have dry skin. It also protects broken and injured skin against bacteria and other germs.
Eyeshadow shields are a gamechanger in the beauty world. Eyeshadow shields can help achieve the perfect winged eyeliner, prevent eyeshadow fallout from ruining your foundation and give you crisp application of your eye look.
The color of lipsticks vary person to person because we all have different colored lips. To achieve the exact color of the shade of the lipstick, apply concealer to your lips to make the color stand out and pop and give it the exact color it is.
Store your creams and lipsticks in the fridge to make them last longer when it’s warm outside.
Weddings can be hectic, stressful and what not especially for the bride to be. She is beginning her new life and there’s a hell lot of chores that need to be done way, way in advance before the big day. Here’s a guide to help you get you get your wedding preparations in order:
Finalize dates well in advance
Once the rishta has been done, ask your parents to finalize the marriage dates well in advance (atleast six months before). This is because you’ll have a plethora of tasks you need to complete before the wedding. Also, if you have guests coming in from abroad, you’ll need to let them know so they can get their holidays and tickets sorted.
Get your venues booked asap
Venues get booked up really fast especially if your wedding is being held in the ‘shadi season’. Get a quick look at venues which will accommodate all your needs such as space, convenience, and the most important good food.
Make a to do list
Being the bride, you absolutely need to have your to do list in check. Write down everything you need before the big day, on the actual day and after the days of the wedding. This way you won’t be forgetting anything. Keep updating things as you keep remembering them. Also cross out all tasks you have completed which will help you relieve the stress off your shoulders.
Do a market research of clothing
Doing a market research of the clothes you’re deciding to get made for the actual wedding and the days after that will immensely help you lower down your expenses. Say if you see a design somewhere and it costs a lot of money, try finding a similar design elsewhere at a different price. You can also get replicas made from Liberty Market or Anarkali. Also, don’t get a lot of fancy clothes made for your bari, it will only be a waste of money. Instead buy semi formal or casual outfits which you will be able to wear again and again.
Swap gold for artificial jewellery
Ditch the gold or diamond jewellery for artificial jewellery instead. Trust me, no one can tell the difference if you’re smart enough to know the right place to get your artificial stuff from. They look as good as real stuff.
Relax at your favorite spa
Weddings can be hectic especially for the bride. Many salons and spas offer a variety of bridal services which can help you relax and unwind before your big day. Choose one which fits your budget and makes you feel like the queen you are!
Host family get togethers especially for dance practices
After you’re married, you won’t get to spend the same amount of time with your family like before. Host family get togethers and get your cousins, phupos, chachas, tayas, khalas and all to have fun filled dholaks. Get your playlist ready as well and coordinate dances so you don’t have to worry about the perfect performance on the main day.
After watching yet another episode of Ehd-e-Wafa which failed to hold my interest, I actually sat down and tried to figure out exactly why a drama I had so many hopes and expectations from did not turn out to be as interesting as I was hoping it would be. This episode wasn’t all bad, it had some cute moments and some funny scenes but lately I have been having a really difficult time connecting to the characters on a deeper level. So far, the reason for this is that Ehd-e-Wafa was promoted as a story of friendship “dil ka dil se hua hei Ehd-e-Wafa” yet the friendship between these boys ended so bitterly. Also, just like many other viewers out there I was expecting all the four boys to be the focus of attention yet clearly Saad and Shahzain are taking the lead. The connection which was established with these four boys was based on their friendship and love for each other yet that is one part of their lives which is clearly over for now. Also, I was expecting this drama to be more like Alpha Bravo Charlie in which the entire focus was on the training and the journeys of the boys as part of the armed forces but it seems like the writer is going to show their journeys in different fields of life. All of these changes would have been great if the story was not all over the place and if the relationship of all these boys with their families was explored a little more.
Ehd-e-Wafa has the same issue which Aangan had – the screen time has not been divided properly and the story definitely does not have the flow which keeps you looking forward to more. Shahzain’s track is putting me to sleep – it is neither entertaining nor meaningful. Saad’s track is interesting but it leaves a lot to be desired. This track gives you a few emotional moments and is the only reason why I tune into this show now. Zara Noor Abbas as Raani is cute but her scenes too are getting repetitive.
Latest Developments
Shahzain did not change his mind after all and was seen convincing his mother to go to Dua’s house with his proposal. Shahzain’s way of getting back at Saad shows his narrow-mindedness but thankfully he will soon change his mind after he falls for the vibrant and witty Raani. There were some words from Shahzain’s dialogues which were censored in this episode and there were quite a few conversations which focused entirely on Shahzain’s plans to marry Dua. Raani on the other hand likes Shahzain and will most probably win him over soon. Shahzain is definitely not a likable character and so far his track has been more confusing than anything else.
Saad told his mother about Dua and although their conversations for the most part were written well but Vaneeza Ahmad’s performance was strictly okay. Her dialogue delivery was quite plain whereas Ahad Raza Mir acted really well in these scenes. It was however good to see a few scenes covering their bond. Dua too came to the park hoping she would get to meet Saad which means that she likes him now. It would have been nice to see Dua and Saad meeting a few times before Saad left for the Academy. Saad joined the military academy and contrary to expectations he was actually ready for all the drilling. Saad’s scene with his father was sweet, he finally got the hug and the ‘approval’ he was looking for. When Saad was with his friends, he went along with everything they did and enjoyed it too. His scenes in this episode however showed that he took life more seriously now. That incident at the college changed Saad more than anyone else since he is clearly afraid of upsetting his father more than ever now…which makes me wonder if Saad was always a ‘good boy’ with a bad company! Perhaps that is why it was easier for him to cut all ties with his friends.
Some of the scenes at the academy were funny and others made me feel for the boys. Some of these scenes also had been-there-seen-that written all over them. My favorite scene from this episode came at the end since I was wondering why these boys were being forced to speak in English. I liked the officer’s dialogue about how life will change for these boys after a few years. Saad’s new friend has an interesting background, his acting is organic and it seems like he might form a special bond with Saad in the upcoming episodes. This track definitely needs more emotional moments to make it more relatable.
Final Remarks
Tonight’s episode of Ehd-e-Wafa just like the previous one had its high and low moments. The visuals and the locations were stunning as usual but the story so far is not taking off. Overall, this episode of Ehd-e-Wafa failed to impress. I am highly disappointed by the fact that two of the boys are the chosen ones especially because Shehryar and Shariq had such interesting personalities. Their backgrounds too made me inquisitive, I definitely was looking forward to seeing more of them. Shehryar will make an appearance in the upcoming episode and Shariq it seems will be shown only after he gets somewhere in life.
How many of you watched tonight’s episode? Do share your thoughts about it.

Ohkay so, this was another beautiful episode of Alif. I feel I am falling short of words right now. It is absolutely amazing that the drama-makers have given the viewers such a drama which touches their heart. Umera Ahmed is Umera Ahmed for a reason, she knows what she is talking about. She knows what she wants to say & how to say it as well. I don’t even remember how many times while watching this episode I felt a lump in my throat & found myself getting teary-eyed. They have portrayed emotions with such beauty & finesse that it sets Alif apart. What I love the most is that while they show people struggling in their lives, they always make sure to bring their emotions to the forefront & this is what strikes a chord every single time. Each & every scene of Alif is perfectly compiled where it has so much to show & offer. Hats off Team Alif for bringing such a perfect drama to the table!
Meaningful Conversations:
Abdul Alla & Master Ibrahim’s meeting was one of my favorite scenes of this episode. It was detailed & just enough to let the viewers know where they met, what sort of relationship they share & the ship that Master Ibrahim has sailed in the past. I loved seeing how Momin’s Dada Jee; Abdul Alla, after feeling helpless went to see Master Ibrahim & confided in him. It was like he needed this catharsis & because he could not bring himself to talk to Momin about all the things that bothered him, he decided to share it with the one who he knew will understand his feelings. Master Ibrahim was once a shoe designer, he was living his life to the fullest, making money being an artist but then, his life changed & Abdul Alla played a huge part in bringing him back to his roots. Master Ibrahim is still very much in touch with his artistic side but he has changed his direction & he is far more content & happy.
“Insaan ko har tarhaan ke raaste pe chalna hota hai, sirf seedhe raaste pe chal ke to koi apne Rabb tak nahi pohanchta”, who would’ve said & known it better than Master Ibrahim. Abdul Alla also knows exactly what Ibrahim’s life was before & how everything has changed, but yes, being a helpless grandfather who wants what’s best for Momin, he could not help being worried. Momina & Abdul Alla saw each other. That brief moment was enough for Momina to know that he was someone very important for Master Ibrahim & she will later find out who he actually is.
Momina & her friend’s interaction was another beautiful moment of this episode. Her friend knows exactly how hard things are for Momina already, that is why she wanted to do something that would help Momina get to the auditions. Momina is talented & because life has not been favorable for her or her family, she underestimates her talent. Momina wants to, but she fears dreaming big & this was elaborated in the conversation that she had with Jahangir, still hoping to do soaps & dramas. It is beautiful how everyone around Momina sees the potential in her, they are always more confident than her. It explains how when circumstances are tough, the one going through the crisis stops seeing the skills which they have been blessed with. Momina lives in fear, she has so much running through her mind & that is why, she has let this fear overshadow everything else. Momina finally got selected & I really dread that a start of something great might in other terms turn out to be a huge personal loss for her? I so hope that does not happen though. Jahangir is the only driving force in her life, he encourages her, he motivates her, he is her brother, her friend, her partner in practice sessions – I hope nothing happens to him!
Momin was taken back to his childhood. I loved how it was explained that your circumstances in childhood shape your future. Momin grew up in a setting where he was very much aware of how he had to differentiate between right & wrong but because everything around him was what his definition of ‘wrong’ used to be, while despising it, he ended up doing all of that himself. Momin is being tested by the Creator & he has no idea. Young Momin saw his mother doing all that he never liked, he saw his mother dancing in front of men, he saw her spending time with strangers – Momin noticed all of that but his tender age did not allow him to see how helpless his mother was, how she didn’t want to do all of it but she was being pushed. Another attention to detail that I enjoyed watching was how they showed that slowly & steadily Momin’s clothing changed, everything around him changed – it was because Husn e Jahan decided to get back to work & then she started providing these luxuries for her family & child, while feeling dead inside.
Momin was keen to find his answers & he was so sorted that he also had a plan of action set in case he did not get the reply from the Creator. Young Momin would have never thought that all the things that he said to his friends will end up being his future. Momin actually is upset, he is sad, he is not happy because Allah did not reply to his letters & then his surroundings played a huge part in turning him into this arrogant successful director of this age. All the scenes that covered younger Momin’s ordeals & surroundings were brilliantly done. They actually did take us in the past & gave away all those details that were necessary to put things into perspective & complete the entire picture.
Abdul Alla prayed hard for Momin. They finally had a conversation & Momin thought he had all the winning arguments but his Dada obviously outbid him. For the first time Momin was forced to leave the argument & turn his back because even he did not have the answers to his Dada’s questions. Momin is right, everyone knows him, his Dada is right too – Allah knows him. I loved loved loved the conversation they had about ‘arrogance’. It highlighted the concept of projection, Momin saw exactly what he himself is in his Dada’s argument – arrogance. It is a done deal that Abdul Alla must have left but he has made Momin curious. I am not sure if this is the reason why Abdul Alla used to seek Husn e Jahan’s forgiveness – the flashback of Taha (Ahsan Khan) asking him the same question that Momin did about ‘seedha raasta‘? Is it that Abdul Alla did not approve of Taha & Husn e Jahan’s marriage because Husn e Jahan was an actor & because Taha left, Abdul Alla felt guilty? I can not wait to find out the truth but oh yes, no spoilers please!
Neha & Momin’s conversation was interesting too. Momin actually is emotionally invested in this relationship & he actually can not understand why Neha is being so pushy about Zufi? It was a minute expression but Hamza Ali Abbasi was phenomenal when he showed Momin finding it hard to believe that Neha was putting Zufi above him. He is Qalb e Momin, someone who is so used to being everyone’s priority, the first, the one & only, that for a moment he could not really accept what was happening to him & that Neha was saying all these things to his face!
Closing Thoughts – Perfection:
This episode of Alif was nothing short of perfection. All the actors have breathed life into their characters & this drama is an experience in itself. While watching their exceptional performances, I always look out for those minute expressions & I enjoy them the most. Manzar Sehbai was the star of this episode for sure. The way he got overwhelmed at the thought of Momin being lost was absolutely brilliant. Saife Hassan in that scene was equally brilliant too. The way he normalizes himself when Momina walks in was such a treat to watch. Sajal Ali was absolutely adorable as the underconfident Momina who was finding it hard to believe that she got selected. She also felt a little shy at the fact that she was in a 4-star hotel, it was all so amazing to see. Oh yes, her audition scene was another highlight of this episode, what a performer! Pehlaaj Hassan is another breath of fresh air in this drama – his scenes are heavy but his innocence gives so much relief. Pehlaaj Hassan has played the role of younger Momin with such finesse that both him & Haseeb Hassan deserve credit for getting such kind of acting channeled out.
I loved Qalb e Momin’s winning speech where he was thanking himself for the hard work, Hamza Ali Abbasi has nailed Qalb e Momin’s arrogance. That scene was so perfect & amusing where Qalb e Momin was showing off his victory & Abdul Alla left thinking it wasn’t worth his time. Kubra Khan looked gorgeous in this episode but yes, I loved her in those scenes more where she was with her son, being his mother. The supporting actors are doing a wonderful job too, Sadaf Kanwal & the actor playing the role of Momina’s friend are really good as well. This episode was absolutely beautiful. Umera Ahmed has written some brilliant dialogues – every single conversation is so meaningful which depicts the inner struggles of a believer with such clarity, simply amazing! Haseeb Hassan definitely should be very proud of himself for directing Alif so brilliantly. When the time comes, it won’t be wrong for Haseeb Hassan to thank himself for such an amazing direction – just like Qalb e Momin did, lol! Please share your thoughts about this episode of Alif.
Torte torte talluq ko nibhate jao – this one line from the OST of Meray Pass Tum Ho sums up what we saw in tonight’s phenomenal episode. This episode was so overwhelmingly emotional that it is actually difficult to pen down my feelings immediately after watching it. Humayun Saeed’s powerful performance was the highlight of this episode. He nailed every single expression and owned the complicated emotions his character went through tonight, completely. Nadeem Baig deserves an award for executing every single scene in the most perfect way possible. The background score tonight was used so intelligently that it actually added to the impact and meaning of all those significant and poignant scenes which could easily have been lost in translation. The camerawork was beyond impressive, the director made sure that the cameraman captured every ounce of emotion with his lens. Nadeem Baig has directed this drama in such a way that you really get transported to another world and find yourself feeling for Danish. Tonight, I am sure just like me everyone else also felt all those powerful emotions which Danish fought with throughout. Tonight’s episode was terribly upsetting because although we were all anticipating that Mehwish was eventually going to leave Danish but no one could have imagined that Danish was literally going to hand over his wife to another man because he was sure that being with Shahwar would make Mehwish happier than she had ever been with him. Once again, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has shown the unimaginable! The dialogues tonight were so beautiful, deep and meaningful.
Danish and Shahwar’s Meeting
This was one of those meetings which the viewers are not going to forget for a really long time. From the time Danish entered the office to the time he left, every single moment was extremely powerful. Once again while Danish had absolutely no idea what was going to be the outcome of this meeting, Shahwar was composed because he had everything planned beforehand. Danish is an emotional person who believes in unconditional love while Shahwar’s moves are always well calculated. He firmly believes that everything and everyone can be bought while Danish couldn’t care less about money. The difference between the approaches of both these men was more obvious tonight in this meeting than it ever was before.
Humayun Saeed’s overall look in this scene was completely in line with everything his character was going through. He deserves all the praise in the world for a job brilliantly done. Shahwar’s intentions were quite clear when he made Danish listen to his conversation with Mehwish and made him look at those pictures. That was the defining moment and the fact that all of this was shown in such detail made the entire scenario easy to understand even though there was nothing simple about this situation.
The scene that was covered while Shahwar was talking to Mehwish was one of my favorites tonight. In this scene Adnan Siddiqui’s expressions clearly showed that even though Shahwar had planned everything so well but he couldn’t help being extremely shocked by Danish’s reaction. The person who was so used to being in control of everything actually felt clueless for a few minutes. Shahwar’s reaction to what Danish said after listening to his conversation with Mehwish suggested that he did not like being surprised even if such a surprise was in his favor. Also, it seemed like he would have liked it more if Danish reacted in a more dramatic manner. He clearly wanted to hurt Danish so bad that he would end up leaving Mehwish out of anger but Danish left Mehwish because he was sure that she will be happier with Shahwar. What an unexpected turn of events, simply mind-blowing.
Mehwish’s Overconfidence and Lack of Guilt
Mehwish’s attitude tonight was also shocking even though the past episode already revealed that she had made up her mind but even then Mehwish’s blatant disregard of Danish’s feelings showed just how much she trusted Shahwar! She no longer even feels sorry for him! In such a short span of time Mehwish was so sure that Shahwar was going to give her everything he promised. Although Mehwish is extremely selfish and materialistic but at the same time you can’t help but notice just how naive she is! She thinks she is clever, she called Danish a kunwei ka mendak tonight because he refused to strike a deal with Shahwar but she did not question her own actions even for a second. She did not even think about the consequences of her actions before and even now she isn’t thinking what can happen if things don’t go as planned. Sometimes too much confidence in your own judgment can be lethal – Mehwish will learn that the hard way.
Danish had confidence in the relationship and these two shared therefore he did not doubt her even when he could clearly see that she was acting strange but tonight when he found out that being with Shahwar makes Mehwish happy, he decided he needed to let her be happy! This was an extremely difficult decision and it seemed like there were times when Danish was hoping that Mehwish will perhaps change her mind.
Danish and Mehwish’s scenes made me dislike Mehwish even more and it won’t be wrong to say that I will be watching this drama to see Mehwish suffer perhaps more than to see Danish happy!
Final Remarks
This episode belonged to the writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, the director Nadeem Baig and the phenomenal actor Humayun Saeed. After Dillagi, this has to be Humayun Saeed’s most powerful performance. Ayeza Khan has underplayed her character which is why there are times when you wish she would not hold back. Adnan Siddiqui did exactly that he was supposed to tonight. I have to say that although his character is relatively easier to translate on screen but Adnan Siddiqui has nevertheless performed really well. Danish’s scenes with Rumi once again were beautifully written and acted-out. The child star playing Rumi’s role is a sweetheart. Tonight’s episode of Meray Pass Tum Ho was exceptionally powerful in every way.
The preview of the next episode showed that Danish will divorce Mehwish and Shahwar’s dialogues revealed more about his personality. How will Danish cope with the trauma of this ugly betrayal? What is next in store for Mehwish? I can’t wait to find out!

Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Ali are a young and sensational power couple of Pakistani showbiz industry. They both had everyone rooting for their real life couple the moment they shared the screen together as Dr. Asfand Yar and Dr. Zubia. Since Yakeen Ka Safar days, everyone wanted them to be together because their on-screen chemistry was perfect and they made such a cute couple. It was around that time when Ahad and Sajal got together and started giving hints to their fans that they were in a relationship.
Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Ali have a massive fan following based on the immense talent that they have. Sajal Ali has been a part of the industry for a longer time as compared to Ahad and she has paved her way due to consistent hard and quality work. It won’t be wrong to say that Sajal Ali is one of the finest actors of Pakistani industry where her acting skills are unparalleled. Ahad Raza Mir is comparatively new but he has carefully picked up such quality products that helped him in standing out and proving himself as an actor. Together, both Ahad and Sajal are a powerhouse of talent. The fans were overjoyed when Ahad and Sajal announced the news of their official engagement. After the announcement, people have gotten used to seeing them together and all of their interactions on social media are closely followed because people can not get enough of how amazing both of them are.
Ahad and Sajal do not believe in putting everything related to their relationship out there on the social media, however they both are always seen supporting and rooting for each other. We often get to see Ahad Raza Mir appreciating and praising Sajal Ali for whatever she does and can’t get enough of how cute they both are. Let’s take a look at the top 10 cute moments of Ahad and Sajal.
Zubia Rooting for Asfand Yar
It doesn’t matter if it is on-screen or off-screen, both Ahad and Sajal are always appreciative of each other’s talent and acting skills. Sajal Ali took it to the social media to request her fans to vote for Ahad Raza Mir as the best TV actor for Yakeen Ka Safar. It was during the initial days of their budding relationship and people could not stop wondering if this support meant something else and fortunately, as time progressed, their wish came true. Now when we look back, it was actually quite cute of both of them to ask their fans to support their co-star.
Things Get Cuter With Mama Mir In The Picture
It was absolutely sweet of Sajal Ali to not only be happy for Ahad Raza Mir, but also acknowledge the feelings of his mother for him. Sajal Ali could totally relate to how Mama Mir must be feeling because she herself witnessed her own mother doing exactly the same for her. Sajal was immensely happy for Ahad but what made her happier and emotional was how she saw Mama Mir cheering for her son. It was absolutely cute seeing Sajal taking it to social media and sharing a very beautiful mother-son moment that she witnessed.
The Couple Photoshoot
This was way before Ahad and Sajal announced their relationship officially but the news of them being together was already out. People wanted to know so much more but Ahad Raza Mir expressed his love for Sajal in a unique way. This photoshoot of Ahad and Sajal could easily pass as a couple shoot, both dressed in formal bridal ensembles, looking like a gorgeous couple, admiring each other. This is exactly what Ahad did, he explained how he was admiring Sajal in this photo. This beautiful picture means so much more now and Ahad’s caption is an open declaration of his love for Sajal’s uniqueness and beauty. This picture has us wondering what a beautiful bride and groom they will actually make on their wedding day.
Behind-The-Scene Fun
This picture was taken on the sets of drama serial Aangan when Ahad and Sajal, as a real-life and reel-life couple were having a fun moment during the shooting. Their expressions are super cute and it is obvious that Ahad is making Sajal laugh. Their expressions are super sweet and it can be clearly seen how Sajal is looking at Ahad with so much love.
Praising Sajal’s Beautiful Eyes
If you are not following Ahad Raza Mir, you need to do it for the way he captions his pictures. Ahad and Sajal are looking absolutely beautiful together, posing for a picture but Ahad’s caption gave a meaning to it. He took a moment to praise Sajal Ali’s beautiful expressive big eyes and we couldn’t agree more. Sajal is absolutely beautiful and it is always special to see how Ahad appreciates her.
Picture Perfect
Just seeing Ahad and Sajal together in one frame is enough to make you smile but Ahad Raza Mir’s captions act as an icing on the cake. He always puts things into perspective by sharing what was actually happening when they were photographed. This is a shot taken during their recently released TV commercial and Ahad is talking about Sajal being his partner in crime. The hashtag is funny and cute and leave us wondering if they did steal the biscuits or not?
Family Vacation
This was when right before their engagement Sajal was on a family vacation with the Mir’s in Canada. People could not stop appreciating how cute Sajal looked while having an ice cream but the reason why they could not stop talking about it was when they spotted Ahad Raza Mir in the background and yes, he was having an ice cream too. This was when people really got interested to know what was happening in their lives. Sajal looks super cute, doesn’t she?
The Announcement
On June 7, 2019 Ahad and Sajal took it to their social media handles and gave their fans the biggest surprise that they were waiting for. They announced that with the blessings of their families, they were officially engaged. This picture is not only beautiful but the fact that they both were now a couple was super special as well. Ahad and Sajal are definitely one of the most loved and cherished young couples of Pakistani showbiz and this is the reason why their togetherness is appreciated so much by all of their well-wishers and supporters. Almost all the celebrities active on social media also congratulated the couple and gave blessings to them on this beautiful picture.
Cutest Caption Award Goes To Ahad
This was again a shot from the TV commercial that Ahad and Sajal did together after their engagement. Although the setting of the commercial was all about a couple enjoying an evening tea and snack together, Ahad’s caption gave it an even better meaning and people could not stop going gaga over the cuteness of the two. We love these captions and want Ahad to continue with these for sure.
Merging Swag and Cuteness Together
Ahad Sajal and Ahad’s younger brother Adnan wished everyone Eid Mubarak. They posed together wearing sunglasses as an accessory. This picture was cute because they posed as a family and had enough swag because they made sure to throw that in as well. We can’t help notice the amount of cuteness and gorgeousness in this photo.
This concludes the Top 10 Cutest Moments of Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Ali that we have witnessed so far. We definitely hope we get to see a lot more moments like these. We wish love, light and happiness to Ahad and Sajal.
Our film industry is definitely in a better shape than it was before. We’re churning out films left right and centre. However, there’s still something amiss. We don’t have quality content. Our audience flocks to the cinema only to return disheartened with what they see on the screen.
At times big names of the industry fail to create a film that captures the masses. There’s glitter, there’s glamour but often the content is missing. The storyline dawdles and fails in the middle. And so, our films barely perform on the box office.
But perhaps this is about to change. With a new breed of writers and actors taking over the cinema industry in Pakistan, we’re certain we’ll have good films that not only earn big on the box office but also leave a mark on the audience in the future.
For now, we have high expectations from the Amar Khan and Imran Ashraf starrer Dam Mastam, slated to release next year.
Imran Ashraf and Amar Khan both can be called the Dark Horses of the industry for having attempted unconventional roles in their span of careers. Imran has tried everything from playing negative shaded characters to donning the chracter of an enunch and also a mentally challenged individual. What is more inspiring is the fact that he has aced each and every one of them. Meanwhile Amar Khan, whom we saw make her debut with Adnan Siddiqui’s drama Ghughi, again went on and tried on some unconventional roles.
In her first play, Amar shunned a glamorous image for a village girl and for her next, she outright went to play a ghost ‘dayan’ as she was called. Amar’s substantial performance as Nilofar brought her into the limelight and considering the way she’s currently acing playing the modern woman Alizey in her drama Dil E Ghumshuda, we can say, we’ll have a film with a performance oriented cast.
Also, with a director like Ehtehshamuddin at the helm of Dam Mastam, we can expect the film to run high on the performance and substantial content, something our films generally lack.
Amar Khan shared, “Its time for our film’s content and daredevil performers are given the front runner over the safest bets we’ve been making. Our film would be a visual treat but with a good text for the viewers.”
Adding further about the emphasis on the film’s content as a writer, Amar added,” Our film industry is reviving for now and people yet aren’t frivolous when it comes to films. We have seen how our films fail to get more numbers once they’re into their second third weeks. Even the films with our top stars do not attract masses much after the charm has worn off. Also the critics and film reviewers often stress that the focus needs to be on content and therefore with this film we’ve tried to do that. Again, the decision will be up to the audience and how they take to Dam Mastam, but yes, this isn’t a run of the mill story.”
A Mohammad Ehtehshamuddin directorial and written by Amar Khan, Dam Mastam will be produced by Adnan Siddiqui and Akhtar Hasnain under Cereal Entertainment. Alongside Imran Ashraf and Amar Khan in the lead, the film will also feature Sohail Ahmed, Saleem Mairaj, Adnan Shah Tipu and internet sensation Momin Saqib in pivotal roles.
In this day and age, Pakistanis are still obsessed with looking fair. This obsession stems from a result of post colonialism. Being fair and white automatically meant being priveleged, rich and wealthier than others. Whitening creams and soaps promote the idea of being beautiful and at par with superiorty.
This internalized form of racism is known as Colourism. Colourism is a prejudice or discrimation against individuals with a dark skin tone, typically among people of the same ethnicity. How shocking is that!
Although many believe the quest for looking white, fair and “beautiful” came from the post colonial era, the roots can be traced even earlier to the Hindu Caste system where the upper class, Brahmin enjoyed the luxuries of life while staying indoors and thus were fair; on the other hand, the lowest class Shutras worked hard outdoors thus getting dark skinned.
Priveleges are mostly prefered and are awarded to members of society with lighter skin, while dark-skinned individuals lack privilege.
While colourism made people dislike and develop a hatred to themselves, skin lightening compaines immediately took advantage of this while reaching new heights of success with various creams, soaps and treatments.
But it is extremely sad how many people are unaware of the hazardous effects of these creams. Such products contain chemicals which contribute to epidermal thinning (thinning of the skin), contribute to pigmentation in the long run, skin swelling, hypopigmentation, itchy skin.
The most dangerous ingredient in the creams is that of mercury. Mercury can damage a person’s nerves, reduce brain activity, damage your liver and kidneys. Also anyone who comes in contact with you while you use skin creams which contain mercury can get mercury poisoning through you.
If you’re dusky, you’ll instantly be frowned upon and told to get some whitening treatments done else you won’t find a good rishta or a good job. But if you’re fair skinned and white, you’d be promoted more in a well reputed job or be eligible for good rishtas. It is the case where the color of your skin is an indicator of what you can and should be able to achieve in life.
Although Pakistanis have a sheer hatred towards the West, it is upsetting to see how they are inspired to be more and more like them especially in the choice of skin color.
These same myths about beauty are mirrored in whitening cream ads as well, and contribute to the oppression of women since women cannot reach their full potential when they are busy striving towards impossible, and even unhealthy standards of beauty.
It is indeed upsetting to see even celebrities from our own entertainment industry endorse such products which promote fair and white skin. In the recent past, Sajal Aly, Mawra Hocane, Bilal Ashraf and the likes have been promoters of a fairer and clearer skin.
It is pertinent for us as individuals to love ourselves, no matter what our skin color is. If we do not start doing that today, we would not be accepted by others as well.
Feroze Khan and Hania Amir walked for Sadaf Fawad Khan. Fawad Khan’s poetic narration played in the background, and the couple walked in and stole the limelight of the evening.
Hania Amir looked perfect, and Feroze Khan had eyes on her.
While most celebrities walk out expecting applause and interaction with the audience, Feroze and Haina came out hand in hand, just gazing at each other.
The night became more special with the fact that Fawad Khan was sitting in the front row to support his lovely wife. Next to Fawad Khan, Asim Azhar was sitting to support his real-life babe.

Winter is fast approaching as it is already starting to get chilly in the evenings. While some people prefer to stay cozy in bed, others wish to fully enjoy the winter season doing various activities, here’s a guide for you to enjoy upcoming winter season:
Eat garma garam seafood
Seafood is all the more yummier when eaten in winters. Devour some delicious masala fried desi fish from Bashir Dar Ul Mahi or take a trip down to Kasur for lip smacking fish.
On the other hand, if you’re not a desi fish fan, you can always have some walaiti fish from any of Lahore’s restaurants. To be honest, Cafe Zouk serves one of the best ones out there.
Have chinese
Aaah, winters and chinese. One of the best combinations ever. Piping hot soup served with fish crackers is exactly what one needs in those chilly winter days. Mandarin Kitchen in Lahore is one of the best places to go for chinese. The eatery nos has two location in Lahore that is DHA and Gulberg.
Stock up on dried fruit
Ufff, winter season is all about dry fruit. Crunchy chilgozay, peanuts, almonds and what not. Just scoop a handful every now and then and keep munching. But it’s so expensive so be sure not to waste any at all.
Eat them niharis and hareesas
Delicious hot niharis and hareesas served with lemon and dried onions on top is just the most amazing winter food to ever exist. Muhammadi nihari and Amritsari Hareesa are the pioneers of this special food, so be sure to visit them once.
Host bonfire and BBQ parties
Winter is nothing without hosting or attending atleast one bonfire or BBQ party. Invite over family and friends for a fun filled winter night with mazaydaar BBQ. Those delicious kebabs, tikkas which one makes themselves on those steaming hot coils never beats the ones eaten in restaurants. To top it off, you have a bonfire going on with music to dance to.
Go for morning walks in the fog
Yes, we know you can’t see much in the winter fog but isn’t that just the beauty of it? Walking really slowly in the morning and pushing through the fog whilst listening to music without a care in the world. Hayeee thandi hawayein!
Attend as many shaadis as you can
Winter season and shaadis go hand in hand, as soon as December approaches, lo and behold shaadi season starts. If you think staying in and being cozy is the best option, think about all the yummy food you can get like BBQs, piping hot jalebis and not to forget kashmiri chai. So get up, get dressed and get going!
Take a trip to Murree and beyond
Summers and winters are the only times people get to holiday in various locations. While people have more time in summers thus they can go abroad, winters comparatively give lesser time to take that step. So why not go local and travel to Murree and beyond. It’s cool, cozy and just the perfect family spot to enjoy those 2 weeks off from school and work.

She is greatly inspired by Benazir Bhutto and her struggles. Mehwish said the younger generation needs to know more about the great Benazir Bhutto.

“Come and see for yourselves what a peaceful country and what a peace-loving nation we are. We are famous for our hospitality around the world.”
She believes in speaking truth even if she gets no offers from Bollywood. She shared, “I’d rather speak the truth and not get cast in their films. This is not something that I’ve said right now. I’ve been saying this all along. Maybe because of the current crisis, this has amplified so much. This has been my stance since day one.”

As winters are just round the corner, the wedding season is beginning in full bloom in Pakistan. November and December are perhaps the most jam packed months for weddings in the country and of course we absolutely love them.

Khalil-ur-Rehman, after writing scripts for television and films, has made his directorial debut film Kaaf Kangana. The story is about an Indian girl Eshal and Pakistan boy Ali Mustafa who fell in love with each other. It’s a love story that started in 1947, and comes to the present with a bit of Kashmir.
Eshal Fayyaz is a ravishing Pakistani model and TV actress. She is an intense model who has worked with all the best form originators of Pakistan. As an actress, she is known for her lead role in dramas like Abro and Hatheli.
One fine day Eshal got a call from Khalil-ur-Rehman, and was offered a lead role in his debut film. Nida Yasir invited the whole team of Kaaf Kangana on her set where Ayesha Omar and Khalil made fun of Eshal.
Nida asked Eshal to tell something about Ayesha’s character to which she said that she liked one of Ayesha’s lines and would like to repeat. Ayesha instantly said, ” let’s see who she will say”.
Khalil and Ayesha laughed at her accent and body language. Eshaal said ”Punjabi accent” with a style on which Ayesha and Khalil laughed and copied her, making her embrace on the live show.
She had enough of bullying from her co-stars. She cried while talking about her dad, but it’s not like that. She felt bad that her own director and colleagues are making fun of her on a live television show.
