She has ruled the world of dramas for four decades now and she is a confident and outspoken personality who never shies away from saying what is on her mind. Film writer Nasir Adeeb did a special show on Bushra and he praised how talented and resilient she is. He is impressed by her work and wishes to work with her at least once in his life.
Nasir Adeeb shared that he always wanted to work with Bushra Ansari in a film. She was however never comfortable with the environment of film industry and refused a character that he pitched her back in the day. He still has several characters written for her which he would want her to perform.

He also spoke about how Bushra Ansari criticized him harshly after the Reema Khan controversy but he respects Bushra as she is a woman who will always stand up for others and he respects that.
Nasir Adeeb is a veteran Pakistani film writer who has crafted the stories of numerous hit Pakistani films. His famous films are Jungle Ka Qanoon, Jarnel Singh, Sher Khan, Thakur, Dushman, Silsila, Qalandar, Maula Jutt and The Legend of Maula Jatt. His film Maula Jutt, starring Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qureshi, made him a timeless star of the Pakistani film industry. He is currently garnering recognition due to his famous podcast for Suno TV in which he reveals facts about Pakistani film industry and actors.
Nasir Adeeb recently appeared in Shaan e Sahoor with her daughter Zoya Nasir. In the show, he opened up about his daughter’s stance regarding his viral statement about Reema.
Talking about it, Nasir Adeeb said, “She made me realize that it was a mistake, and I am proud of the fact that she supported Reema on whatever I said, although, I never intended to hurt anyone. I also apologized for it. However, what made me most proud was her attitude that she supported the other party. I am her father, but I am also a human being who commits mistakes. Although, I don’t believe in spreading lies, I always spoke truth but now I understand that not every truth should be shared on TV.” Here is the link to the video:
Zoya Nasir also said, “It’s a channel where my father works. He goes there and talks, his speech is recorded there and he comes back. At that time, we used to have a very contained environment like our drawing room. Nowadays, there is a fact checking on internet, so we have to be careful while speaking, as things stay on the internet forever. Pakistani film industry has seen many ups and downs like the country itself. There was a time when Punjabi film industry was the most successful in country and we saw many big blockbusters coming out one after another. Actors Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qureshi were the dynamic duo loved by everyone and they were the main faces of nearly all the films that released during those times. Nasir Adeeb was the man behind the iconic dialogues uttered by these two in many films.
Nasir Adeeb is one of the most successful film writers in the film industry and hold the world record for writing most feature films. He shared that he has a double Masters from the University of Punjab. He always wanted to become famous and once he heard that getting a Nishan e Haider can make you famous. Thus he went to get admitted into the Pakistan Army. He got selected alongside one of the most powerful men in Pakistan’s history.
He passed the test with who later on went to become the Chief of Army Staff General Parvez Musharraf. Nasir always wanted to be famous and was told getting a Nishan e Haider could make him famous. He was then told by Parvez Musharraf that one has to die (martyred) in order to get Nishan e Haider therefore Nasir dropped out from there.
He then went on to become one of the greatest writers in Pakistani films!
Nazia Hassan is the Queen of pop and her charisma is as great today as it was when she was performing in her prime. The world lost her when she was very young and that is counted amongst the biggest losses Pakistan has faced. The starlet had a famous duo with her brother Zohaib and they both rocked the South Asian region. Her marriage to Ishtiaq Baig is however considered a very controversial topic.
Nasir Adeeb spoke about her marriage in his latest program. He revealed that she got married to a Karachi based businessman Ishtiaq Baig. He used to call it a love marriage but according to Nazia it was an arranged one. Nazia’s mother was supportive of this union while her father always opposed it. She was diagnosed with lung cancer soon before getting married. She was able to fight it but the doctors told her that she may never have a child. A miracle happened again as she gave birth to her son.

Nasir Adeeb also revealed that the real problem in Nazia Hassan’s marriage was her husband stopping her from making music. It is also said that Nazia was his third wife and he had already gone through two divorces which Nazia did not know about. Nazia Hassan has also spoken about getting abused during the marriage, an allegation that Ishtiaq Baig denies.

Nasir Adeeb also had advice for men who marry successful actresses. He said that these men need to learn how to live with such a successful woman and not treat them like an expensive commodity that they just wanted to earn and decorate in their homes. This is his advice:
Nasir Adeeb also revealed that Nazia Hassan was not buried for 5 months as there was a case about her alleged poisoning. She was though declared to die of natural causes by the court and she was then buried.
Nasir Adeeb is a brilliant Pakistani scriptwriter. He is popularly known for writing Punjabi films for Lollywood. He holds a record of writing maximum number of film scripts till date. He wrote many novels as well, in 1979, he wrote Maula Jatt. Nasir Adeeb says that he wrote Maula Jatt against the system and that’s why it became massive hit and narrative is hit till the date. The film had a stellar cast of that time which included Mustafa Qureshi & Sultan Rahi.
Nasir Adeeb recently appeared in The Super Over with Ahmed Ali Butt, in which he disclosed about the amount he demanded for Maula Jatt, on a question, “What amount did you demand from Sarwar Bhatti for Maula Jut?”, Nasir Adeeb revealed that he got approximately 7 thousand rupees (in 1979) for original block buster Maula Jut.
Ahmed Ali But then asked, “And how much did you demand from Bilal Lashari?” To which Nasir Adeeb said, “I demanded 10 lacs from Bilal Lashari but he gave me 15 lac rupees for writing the script of The legends of Maula Jatt”.
