TV series “Meray Dost Meray Yaar” launched in 2019 and premiered on Geo Entertainment. Featuring Asim Azhar, Syra Yousuf and Haroon Shahid, the series ran on YouTube as well. A second edition was in the works for quite some time. With an ensemble cast, “Meray Dost Meray Yaar 2″ launched earlier this week amidst a star-studded event. The cast includes Asim Azhar, Hania Amir, Ali Hamza, Usama Khan, Mariyam Nafees, Hamzah Tariq Jamil and Asad Siddiqui. They are certainly a treat to watch together on screen.

Recently Fuchsia Magazine had a little chat with two of the stars from “Meray Dost Meray Yaar2”, Usman Khan and Mariyam Nafees.

Usman and Mariyam talked about the series. Answering to the question that why they selected these roles which are given to them in series they revealed, It’s a different kind of story and is close to reality.

The series is directed by Mehreen Jabbar.  It’s written beautifully, directed beautifully, the music is amazing and so is the cast, says Mariyam Nafees.

Furthermore, Mariyam added that “My character is a mast malang type of girl, wearing Afghan jewelry and stuff like that”. Usman’s character is based on a cool boy, who is dressed in all black.

Mariyam and Usman are not a part of music group in the series. The triangle is between Mariyam, Asim Azhar and Hania Amir. Usman is Mariyam’s best friend and a cousin of Asim. 

“Meray Dost Meray Yaar”, the title song of the series is favorite of Usman and Mariyam among the other songs. 

At the end they mentioned that it was a lot of  fun working with Asim and Hania, we had a great time together.

Zara in her interview accepted that Zebaish was a mistake. 

Zara started off with that “People have given me immense love and appreciation to what I have done in my carrier. Zebaish, somehow was also a success for me, I’ve learnt much from this project, I got to know my weak points which I will try to improve next time. Audience did not liked my character, I’ll try to prove myself in my next projects”. 

Furthermore, she added that “The moment drama went on air I realized that this was not my strength and the team didn’t fit well”. Nepotism was not the reason behind Zebaish’s failure, says Zara.

Zara could not connect with her character, she could not develop understanding with her script and director. 

My audience expects a lot from me which puts me in pressure to do a lot more in my coming projects, Zara further added.

The things which Zara learnt from this mistake is that she will not work with her family members for some time. Secondly she learnt about her craft. The main thing which she learnt is to understand the script which plays a very important role while playing a character.

Famous model Alyzeh Gabol shared her health condition as she has been infected with Coronavirus and she has isolated herself at home.

More than ten days have passed and she updated about her health condition. Alyzeh Gabol wrote, “Day 10- Not a very pleasant experience but Alhamdullilah doing alot better today with all the prayers & love I’ve been receiving.”

Srha Asgr is a beautiful young talent who is captivating the hearts of people with her phenomenal acting as a supporting role. She had a dream of becoming a director since childhood but she ends up becoming an actress. Srha gave a start to her career during her studies which she later completed in 2018.

Recently Srha was seen sharing her everyday makeup look on a YouTube channel “Hum Spotlight”. 

 While starting off with makeup Srha mentioned that she is not very much into makeup, the makeup she have in front of her is all that she have, except some shades of lipsticks. I just take 10 minutes for my everyday makeup look, says Srha. 

Firstly Srha applied foundation on her face by Fit Me. Secondly she used a contour kit to hide her chubby cheeks. Srha says that the best thing about contour kit is that it helps you to hide your double chin. After contouring her face she moved on to contour her nose.

When Srha finished up with contouring she applied her favorite cream blush on using her hand. 

Brown color from an eyeshadow palette was used by Srha for her eyebrows. For everyday makeup she uses brown and pink color eyeshades. 

The best part for Srha is her eyelashes. “My eyelashes are straight enough, I curl them many times before and after applying mascara to give them heavy look”, she added.

Last thing was applying lipstick by Atika Odho, which she gave Srha on the set of Pyaar Kay Sadkay. Peachy shade of lipstick was worn by Srha. 

Furthermore, she said that this is all I do whether it’s a function or a normal gathering.

Nimra Khan is a Pakistani actress and director. Khan made her acting debut with a brief role in comedy series Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga. She is known for her leading role in several television serials including Meherbaan, Uraan, Khoob Seerat and Mein Jeena Chahti Hoon . In 2016, Khan made her film debut with Blind Love.

On 21 August 2014 she was seriously injured in a road accident. Her car got hit badly by a van while she was coming back from her shoot. Her right leg fractured from five different points. Doctors were not able to fix them immediately as there were a few clots in her brain. She got married on 19 April 2020 in Karachi and her husband was a police officer in London.

Few months after her marriage Nimra Khan removed all the pictures with her husband from the Instagram. People have been speculating since then about her marriage but she stayed silent on this matter.

Shahzad Sheikh is son of veteran actor Javed Sheikh. Shahzad Sheikh has been a part of a number of hit serial including Qurbaan, Tabeer, Dewar e Shab and many others.

Shahzad Sheikh is currently starring in drama serial Raaz e Ulfat which is a typical three wheelers story. Irtaza and Mushk are madly in love with each other whereas evil Sahiba didn’t leave any table unturn to make them drift apart.

In the latest interview Shahzad Sheikh revealed some details about Raaz e Ulfat. While talking about the reservations he had with this project he said that most of the times reservations are not about the story, most reservations are on sentences and the body language of hero.

Talking about the latest the latest shocking events that took place in drama he revealed that deep down Irtaza knew that Mushk hasn’t done any thing wrong. But the thing that punched him the most was that even after he warned Mushk not to meet Sahiba and Nomi she still met them and secondly, his parents were now questioning his choice.

He also revealed that when Irtaza will come to know about Mushk’s wedding his reaction will be worth watching.

Popular actor Usman Mukhtar is known for his selective choice of work and his work is always appreciated in several drama serials. He is currently playing the role of Dr Haris in drama serial Sabaat alongside Sarah Khan.

Usman Mukhtar is severely bashed as he started a Q/A session on his Instagram where he responded to his fans queries. One of the fans criticized his character in drama serial Sabaat and called it ‘boring’.
