Iman shared earlier that she does not sign up for many projects because of her disease. As she was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai, Iman opened up about the difficulties she has to face due to MS. She shared that she felt blind at one point in her journey and now she cannot use her hands properly for the last 1 and a half years as they remain numb. Iman also shared that she has slurred speech which is the reason for her not giving many interviews. Iman also revealed that she forgets things while she is talking which makes things difficult for her during live interviews.
Abid Ali’s death was a huge blow to the entire Pakistani entertainment industry. The veteran actor was an asset to Pakistan, and of course a dear father to his daughters.
And so, when the veteran actor passed away, despite having lived apart from their father for most of their lives, his daughters were devastated with the loss. Despite not being able to meet him due to a number of family differences, Iman Aly, Abid Ali’s eldest daughter, shared how her father’s death had shaken her to the core.
In a recent interview with Iffat Omar, Abid Ali’s daughter Iman Aly revealed the real reason behind her father’s death and the ordeal they had to go through not being able to know about their father’s worsening condition.
“We didn’t meet him much after his second marriage and nobody ever told us anything. Had he been living with us, we would have taken him for regular checkups because he had a liver problem many years ago, when I was still too young. Perhaps his problem had gotten worse because he hadn’t had regular checkups,” said Iman while talking to the host.
Adding further how she thought her father didn’t want to bother them with his health issues, Iman stated, “We met on my wedding and it was the first time in years that I really got close and bonded with my father. Then my younger sister got married and perhaps he thought it was best to not disturb our lives.”
Iman also said that they hadn’t been informed about their father’s condition. “We weren’t even informed. My dad was in Lahore, at my aunt’s house, getting himself treated at Shaukat Khanam. It was a month from my wedding and when we met him later, his condition had gotten worse.”
“He seemed a bit week on my wedding but I assumed it was work load since he had been doing too many plays. Then I got busy after my wedding. I met him on Eid and after two weeks he was in an absolute worse condition. We were informed at the very end. ”
Iman recounted the painful incident about how her father’s second wife had never welcomed them to his house in Karachi and how she took his death body away without allowing them to see him for the last time.
“When I reached, dad’s wife had already send his death body to the mosque. They didn’t let me in but one of my friends intervened and insisted that his daughters had the right to see him, at least for the last time,” a visibly pained Iman shared.
Iman Ali also confessed how the entire incident had taken a toll on her and she still couldn’t sleep well because the visuals of her lasting meeting with her father haunted her.

The latest news is that the shooting of this movie is in full swing nowadays in Karachi. The shooting of this movie will be completed by January after which it will go through the post-production phase. The movie is produced under the banner of MiRaqsam media.

There is too much body control for visuals as an art form to flourish here.’ Clearly, Poora Chand will not be a main-stream movie since it is penned down by Sarmad.

Manzar Sehbai made his film debut with 2011 with Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol opposite Humaima Malick, Mahira Khan, Atif Aslam and Iman Ali for which he won Lux Style Awards and SAARC Film Awards. In 2013, he appeared in Academy Award nominated film Zinda Bhaag opposite Amna Ilyas and Naseeruddin Shah, which was critically and commercially successful.
The movie is directed by Anjum Shehzad who has given us hits like Khuda aur Muhabbat, Talafi, Satrangi, the tarang telefilm ‘Armaan’, Mirat-Ul-Uroos and many more. He has also bagged two Lux Style Awards for best director for ‘Pehla Chand’ and ‘Woh Tees Din’. Anjum has proved his mettle from time to time and we can surely expect excellent direction for this movie.

Iman Ali is not seen on talk shows very often but whenever she comes to a show she is always very honest while answering all the questions. Iman Ali could not be a part of Sanam Jung’s show in which Fahad Mustafa, Aly Khan and Anjum Shehzad came to promote their film Mah-e-Mir. Today she came to the show and she shared many things about the film and her personal likes and dislikes. Iman Ali is considered a style icon and many people love her for her talent and beauty. Iman Ali on the other hand doesn’t think she is very pretty. Talking on the show she said,
“I don’t think I am pretty. The camera and the directors make me look beautiful otherwise I am just like any other girl. I never got any kind of plastic surgery done to my face because I don’t like it. We see many actresses nowadays whose lips have gone from being small to medium and then extra large! There was a time when people used to appreciate models with full lips but now everyone has them unnaturally.”
Iman Ali also loves food. She loves to eat and cook food. Quite surprisingly she is not like any other diva, she said,
“I don’t like shopping. I enjoy staying at home. I have complete faith that your success or failure depends on Allah but I believe that one should always do things which they think they can excel at.”
Talking about her character in Mah-e-Mir she said that it was a very mysterious character. She said that she took this role and this project only because of Anjum Shehzad because he is a gifted director. She said,
“This was supposed to be a small film, the sort which is made for showing in festivals but Anjum Shehzad’s direction has made it grand and now we are promoting it and showing it on national level.”
Iman Ali also said that she is very selective about the projects she works in. Iman Ali is also the make-up artist for the film Mah-e-Mir. She said that her favorite look in the whole film was the one in the qawali song because she was wearing minimum make-up in it. Talking about herself she said,
“I have never posted selfies or pictures of myself on social media because I don’t love myself so much!”

Well, she appeared on The Talk Talk Show, which is hosted by Hassan Choudary, In the show, she talked about her experience at the set of her film Tich Button, Iman Ali said, “Nothing has changed in the industry, actors are always treated roughly, I came back after a long time, I thought things have changed. I thought I was sick and now I also have become a star as well so the production house will take care of me but it didn’t happen, we worked in extreme poor conditions. There were no vanity vans, It was winter season and things were not up to the mark even the heaters were not working there. We worked in difficult situations while filming Tich Button”. Iman Ali has opted out from the film Main Punjab Nahi Jaon Gi. As already known that Mah-e-MIr star was going to share the big screen with Humayun Saeed in his upcoming film Main Punjab Nahi Jaon Gi but Iman Ali confirmed that she has changed her decision. The reason behind Iman leaving the film is still not revealed .
I am sure it is not only me but many others who wanted to see this great couple on the screen. According to source Humayun Saeed has confirmed the news if Iman Ali leaving the film is true but he also said that she will be doing another project with him. so at least the couple is not lost .
Humayun also shared that’s its Mehwish Hayat who has replaced Iman Ali in the film,well good luck to her as her latest film Actor in Law is already a big hit.
The shooting of MPNJ will mainly take place in Karachi and Lahore and also in Romania. Where as the star cast oft he film includeAhmed Ali Butt, Samina Peerzada and Saba Waseem. MPNJ is being directed by Jawani Phir Nahi Ani director Nadeem Baig and written by Sadqay Tumhare writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar. The film will also star Ahmed Ali Butt, Samina Peerzada and Saba Waseem.

“Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is going to work exclusively for Six Sigma Plus for the next 3-4 years. Our production house will use all it has got to ensure that his dramas are shown on every channel and his scripts get the best treatment.”
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar also said that he had always wanted to work with Six Sigma Plus and he always considered the production house his very own. We are waiting to see what this collaboration brings for the viewers.
