Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday crossed the 40,000 mark after a gap of around 10 months as the KSE-100 index closed at 40,122 points with a positive change of 836 points. A total of 361,655,400 shares were traded during the day, whereas the value of shares traded stood at Rs13.75 billion as compared to the previous day’s value of Rs11.9 billion.

Last Episode of Khandani Kitchen featuring Mahira Khan was aired a few days back.

Khandani Kitchen was a cooking show whose episodes were released on digital platform YouTube. Khandani Kitchen proposed a unique concept. The film industry of Pakistan might seem like it’s all full of glitz and glamor from the outside but the inside story is always different.

Two of the senior members of the industry have recently talked about what goes on behind the scene and we bring it to you.

Humayun Saeed told Dawn, Images:

“There are young actors who have barely made a place for themselves but who will arrive late or demand that a certain kind of car is enlisted to transport them to and fro from shooting locations” “If we are traveling, they will require a certain hotel for their stay even though the producers themselves may be staying elsewhere. The demands go on and on and as filmmakers, we try to fulfill many of them and keep things professional. But when stars create difficulties we are unlikely to work with them in our next project.”

Yasir Nawaz also talked about the struggles he faced while shooting his movie, Wrong No where his two leading ladies had some issue with each other:

“They refused to talk to one another and had these frustrating preconceived notions about each other. They’d come to me cribbing about each other and I’d have to iron things out,” the director-producer had revealed.

“It’s a problem with the new generation of actors. They start thinking too highly about themselves even though their careers have only just started out.”

While talking about young stars complaining about their scenes being cut, Humayun Saeed said:

“Experienced actors sometimes have a sense of what will work on screen and what won’t, whe. working with younger scriptwriters or directors, they frequently make suggestions that are taken into serious consideration. It may not have anything at all to do with internal politics, especially in ventures financed by big production houses.”

The trailer of upcoming Pakistani movie ‘Punjab Nahi Jaongi’ has earned phenomenal response and it gained more than 1 million views in a day after its launch.

After the theatrical trailer release of the movie in Karachi on 5th July, the lead actors Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat headed to US for the promotion of their movie.

Both actors have been lately spotted at  APPNA Convention, Orlando, USA, where they were found promoting ‘Punjab Nahi Jaongi’.

Reframing the limits of cheapness and bold shoots, Humayun Saeed’s and Mahnoor Baloch’s latest movie song has been leaked in the social media which reveals all the filth of the movie ‘Main Shahid Afridi hoon’, or may be just a glimpse of it.

The song “Masti main doobi raat hai”, a song which has been pictured on Humayun Saeed, Mahnoor  Baloch and Mathira is an item number which has been shot in a bar. Giving it a typical bar-touch, most of the ladies are seen wearing two-pieces only and making it worse, their deep necks are further exposed to camera intentionally. The country which is known as an Islamic republic state seems to have forgotten the ethical boundaries that it should have followed.
