People are getting affected in Pakistan due to coronavirus. The number of corona patients is increasing with each passing day. The virus spreads even by touching the patient, therefore, the public is requested to maintain social distance for some days. All the cities are locked down for fourteen days to control the situation.
23rd March, Pakistan Day was celebrated by staying at home. The parade and air show were canceled because of Coronavirus. But even being isolated, Pakistanis played the national anthem at their home and uploaded their videos on social media. The isolation stopped them from meeting but social media kept them united.
Like others, Pakistani celebrities also posted their videos while singing the national anthem with their families. Check it out!
Ayesha Omar:
Ayesha wore a beautiful white embroidered dress with a green necklace on Pakistan Day. She played a loud national anthem at her house and made a video. She also gave a message to all her fans that we have to stay united to fight against coronavirus. We all have to listen to our government and stay in isolation to save Pakistan.
Asim Azhar is a famous singer, so he sang Dill Sa on his guitar and uploaded his video on Instagram for his fans and followers. The time is tough right now, but soon we will get through this all.
Komal got emotional while singing the national anthem. She got live on Instagram and requested all her fans and followers to join her and show some love toward Pakistan. In the end, she requested everyone to stay inside the home and pray.
Junaid Khan and his son sang the national anthem while standing in the balcony to show love for their country. No matter what happens, we will always stand for our country. It’s our homeland and we will protect it.
Sarwat Gilani and Fahad Mirza have two incredibly cute sons who are naughty and fun-loving kids. The family made a video while singing the national anthem to show their love for Pakistan. Rohaan and Araiz, being kids, started making noise and laughed. Sarwat and Fahad tried to stop them but failed to do so. It was cute though.
The latest episode of Ishqiya laid the foundations for what is coming ahead. The story is moving forward gradually and it continues to be predictable. Hamnah and Romaissa both will be getting married in the next episode, hopefully. That is when the viewers will actually find out what Hamza’s grand plan is.
The Strange Love Triangle
Hamza’s interaction with Azeem tonight indicated that he wants to make Hamna uncomfortable and under constant stress by making sure he is a constant ‘threat’. Hamna continues to be confusing, the best thing about tonight’s episode was Azeem’s comment about her expressions, totally agree with him! This comment also indicated that the writer wanted Hamna to have these similar expressions throughout therefore Ramsha Khan is not to be blamed for the monotonous performance. Hamna’s half-hearted attempts to stop this marriage from taking place actually made sense since Hamza’s threat did not leave her with much of a choice. I couldn’t help noticing that Hamna is more worried about herself than about her sister. Even though she asked Hamza to keep Romaissa out of all this but the only reason she is quiet is that she does not want to get into trouble. Also, while talking to her friend she clearly stated that it was a no-win situation for her. She said that even if Romaissa gets married to Hamza, she will be the one suffering. That came as a surprise since it clearly suggested that she was not really looking out for her sister but was only dreading how this marriage would affect her. Hamna is also, still daydreaming about Hamza and has not moved on.
Hamza wanting to be best friends with Azeem showed how he wanted to make Hamna miserable by being close to her husband. At Hamza’s house, everyone thinks that Romaissa is the girl he was friends with all this time. Once Romaissa gets married, she will get one shock after the other, I can see that happening already. She has no idea what she is getting herself into. Romaissa likes Hamza and is excited about her marriage. The conversation she had with her father will also haunt her in the days to come because she will have to sacrifice much more than what she is expecting in order to keep her ‘promises’!
It is quite clear now that Hamna is really weak so much so that most often her reactions are subdued. This part of her personality makes her character just plain boring and somewhat annoying. She has not contributed actively to any of the developments. Although Romaissa is blunt and confident but she strictly believes that a girl’s parents decide who she is going to marry. Romaissa and her father’s relationship is sweet which makes the fact that she wants to do whatever she can to please her father, logical. Although her dialogues can sometimes be a bit forced but Hania Aamir’s performance is always on point. Azeem keeps you confused, it seems highly likely that very soon he will be sharing his troubles with his ‘friend’ Hamza.
Just like expected, Alishba was more than willing to force her way into Hamza’s life but gladly her father did not oblige. I am certain we will be seeing more of this desperation in the future too. The relationship all these leading characters have with their families continues to be the best part of the play. I am waiting to see if the girls’ family will be just as actively involved in the future too because very often we see that our leading ladies lose connection with their parents once they get married!
Final Remarks
Tonight’s episode of Ishqiya was a lot like the previous few episodes; slight progress in the story and so many scenes which didn’t have anything new to offer. This is going to be my last review of Ishqiya. I am going to review Pyar Ke Sadqay instead of this drama. The reason for this is that Ishqiya is predictable and it doesn’t give me a lot to discuss. The story isn’t new and the drama so far is slow-paced. All the actors have been performing well and I am still curious to find out how Romaissa’s track, in particular, is taken forward but I don’t really look forward to reviewing this play. Pyar Ke Sadqay, on the other hand, has a lot going for it. So, while I will be watching Ishqiya, I will not be reviewing it anymore.
Did you watch tonight’s episode of Ishqiya? Please share your thoughts about it.

Abid Ali’s death was a huge blow to the entire Pakistani entertainment industry. The veteran actor was an asset to Pakistan, and of course a dear father to his daughters.
And so, when the veteran actor passed away, despite having lived apart from their father for most of their lives, his daughters were devastated with the loss. Despite not being able to meet him due to a number of family differences, Iman Aly, Abid Ali’s eldest daughter, shared how her father’s death had shaken her to the core.
In a recent interview with Iffat Omar, Abid Ali’s daughter Iman Aly revealed the real reason behind her father’s death and the ordeal they had to go through not being able to know about their father’s worsening condition.
“We didn’t meet him much after his second marriage and nobody ever told us anything. Had he been living with us, we would have taken him for regular checkups because he had a liver problem many years ago, when I was still too young. Perhaps his problem had gotten worse because he hadn’t had regular checkups,” said Iman while talking to the host.
Adding further how she thought her father didn’t want to bother them with his health issues, Iman stated, “We met on my wedding and it was the first time in years that I really got close and bonded with my father. Then my younger sister got married and perhaps he thought it was best to not disturb our lives.”
Iman also said that they hadn’t been informed about their father’s condition. “We weren’t even informed. My dad was in Lahore, at my aunt’s house, getting himself treated at Shaukat Khanam. It was a month from my wedding and when we met him later, his condition had gotten worse.”
“He seemed a bit week on my wedding but I assumed it was work load since he had been doing too many plays. Then I got busy after my wedding. I met him on Eid and after two weeks he was in an absolute worse condition. We were informed at the very end. ”
Iman recounted the painful incident about how her father’s second wife had never welcomed them to his house in Karachi and how she took his death body away without allowing them to see him for the last time.
“When I reached, dad’s wife had already send his death body to the mosque. They didn’t let me in but one of my friends intervened and insisted that his daughters had the right to see him, at least for the last time,” a visibly pained Iman shared.
Iman Ali also confessed how the entire incident had taken a toll on her and she still couldn’t sleep well because the visuals of her lasting meeting with her father haunted her.

She started her career as a model and became a renowned model within a short period of time. After that, she joined the television industry. She worked in famous Urdu dramas and movies and earned a lot of love, respect, and appreciation from the audience.
Iman Ali recently gave an interview on Say It All with Iffat Omar. She talked about her personal and professional life, the struggles and hurdles she faced to earn this position in the entertainment industry.
Iffat Omar showed her some pictures of famous celebrities of Pakistan and she had to share her opinions about them. If they were not actors then what would they be? This was the game and Iman had to share her thoughts. Iffat showed Fawad Khan’s picture to which she started laughing and said that they gave their debut together. Both of them were from different fields, Iman was a model and Fawad Khan used to do a play named Jutt and Bond. So their first interaction was not good! Iman further added that he used to tell cheap and stupid jokes to everyone. So according to Iman Ali, Fawad Khan would have been a failed stand up comedian if he was not into acting.

The only thing we can do is keep out hands and mouth clean. Maintain a social distance and stay isolated for some days. Many countries are locked down due to this virus. The virus is being spread in different cities of Pakistan now. It all started from Sindh, but slowly by slowly, it is spreading in different areas as well.
Companies, schools, universities have announced work-from-home to all their employees to keep them safe from coronavirus. But people are not taking it seriously. Mufti Muhammad Naeem is suffering from this virus.
