I am really puzzled by the recent “harkatain” and messages of Aamir liaquat in his Ramzan transmission on express tv (not that there were no harkatain before but now they have increased 10 folds). After watching the video below, I was forced to think that there is really something wrong with his mental state. Is it a mere jealousy or extreme arrogance which is making him say all this or what else?? Having the knowledge about Islam, he should know that arrogance is strongly disliked in Islam. His behavior is really contradicting his claims to be a religious scholar.
I have not seen Fahad Mustafa saying anything bad about Aamir liaquat in his show or even claiming to be the best host. The most upsetting part is when these so called religious scholars totally ignore one of the most emphasized aspect of Islam: ikhlaqiat. All these commercial Ramazan transmissions are taking people away from the true meaning of Ramazan. Instead of spending time in ibadah,learning and doing good deeds, and asking for forgiveness from Allah (swt), people are busy watching these commercial shows and learning the tricks to win a mobile. I hope things change and our media start emphasizing more on the true essence of Ramazan.

Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed landed in a huge controversy when a video from the shooting went insanely viral. Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed were shooting for the song “Qubool” and they were seen dancing in Masjid Wazeer Khan, Lahore.
The video received a lot of hate and backlash especially from the religious genus of the country. The instant action was taken, Bilal Saeed also issued an apology, and that sequel was also removed from the song’s video. A case was also filed against Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed under the act of 295 for trampling upon the respect of the mosque.
According to the recent development judicial magistrate has issued the arrest warrants of Bilal Saeed and Saba Qamar. The arrest warrants of the actress and singer are issued for not showing up on court on the said dates. The arrest warrants of 6th of October has been issued.
Senior Tv actor Iffat Omar and Singer Ali Gul Pir are quite vocal on social media about different issues. Same has happened when the Meesha Shafi and Ali Zafar’s controversy arose. Both have spoken up against Ali Zafar after which he filed defamation case against both. Both have been facing court notices, now the court has issued arrest warrants and rejected the plea of exemption from appearing in court.
In a written order, the Judicial Magistrate has issued the non-bailable arrest warrants for actress Iffat Omar and Ali Gul Pir. The court also directed singer Meesha Shafi and Maham Javed to appear before the court at the next hearing.
The court has also rejected the plea of accused Leena Ghani and Fareeha Ayub and said that the accused are failing to satisfy the court regarding the exemption of permanent attendance while the FIA lawyer also opposed the plea of the accused for permanent exemption from attendance.
Court said that all the accused are failing to satisfy the court in this regard by not showing presence in the court . It is to be remembered that in the previous court trial Iffat Omar’s health also reportedly got deteriorated and she got fainted. In place of Meesha , her mother was appearing before court , in previous trials.
In March 2015, customs officials arrested supermodel Ayyan Ali at Islamabad airport, upon recovering $506,800 from her luggage. Ayyan later denied any role in money laundering. She was released from Adiala prison in Rawalpindi after spending almost four months in detention.
Today, a court in Rawalpindi issued arrest warrants for Ayyan in connection with the killing of a customs inspector who would have been a key prosecution witness in the money laundering case against her.
The court ordered police to arrest the accused immediately. Warrants have also been issued for others accused in the case, including customs superintendent Zargham and Dr Haroon.
Customs Inspector Chaudhry Ejaz Mahmood would have been the key prosecution witness in the money laundering case. Mahmood was in charge of the PIA cargo air freight unit (AFU) state warehouse at Benazir Bhutto International Airport in 2015 and was the person that took official custody of the currency recovered from Ayyan in March 2015. He was shot dead by two unidentified men last year.
The inspector’s wife told the police that some men threatened to kill Mahmood if he failed to make false entries in the official record to weaken the case against Ayyan and relieve her of the charges. Mahmood’s brother Chaudhry Riaz Afzal also recorded his statement before the police.
Ayyan was released but now, a Rawalpindi court has issued arrest warrants and according to the orders, Ayyan needs to be presented in the court within a month.
A sessions court in Lahore has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for host and actor Ayesha Sana in a cybercrime case. The arrest warrants were issued by sessions court in Lahore over the non-appearance of the Saiqa fame actress in the case. Her ex-husband Yousuf Baig has registered a case against Ayesha for defaming his family on the internet.
Yousuf claimed that Ayesha posted inappropriate photos of his wife and daughter on social media. She uploaded their private media on a website as well that “brought disgrace” upon his family. Consequently, the court directed Ayesha to show up for the hearing.
This is not the first time arrest warrants have been issued against Ayesha. In July 2020, she was booked for fraud, and raids were conducted in Lahore and Islamabad to arrest her. The case was lodged on the complaint of Ali Moin, who was associated with the real estate business. Ali claimed that Sana had borrowed Rs2 million from him and gave him a cheque that later bounced. Ayesha had family terms with Ali’s family and he had lent her money on several occasions, he added.
According to the Dawn, a sessions court in Karachi on Tuesday issued a bailable arrest warrant against Pakistan’s former captain Wasim Akram after he missed 31 hearings of a case he filed against Major (retd) Aminur Rehman and associates last August after he was involved in a road accident with the retired army man.
The major had drawn out a revolver and fired an open shot after his vehicle collided with Akram’s Mercedes while the former cricketer was returning home from the National Stadium.
Earlier reports suggested that the matter was settled between the two parties on the intervention of influential people in a few days. The sessions court has set the next date of hearing for January 17 and directed police to ensure Wasim makes an appearance. Wasim is currently in Australia for the Pakistan and Australia series.

Ayyan was arrested on March 14, 2015, on charges of money laundering after Customs officials recovered $506,000 from her luggage at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad before she could board a flight to Dubai. Her name was removed from the Exit Control List (ECL) on 23rd February and she left for Dubai. Now the court is calling her again and again and obviously she did not appear. First it was said by her lawyer that she was ill and now her mother is ill and she has to attend her. On this judge Sheeraz Kiyani expressed anger and issued warrants to arrest her and produce her in front of the court. The cort has called Ayyan 12 times now.

Army Major in Pakistan just showed what humanity truly is. A very sad and heart beaking incident took place in Nowshehra when a father resurrected the practice of pre-Islam. He tried to bury his baby girl just because she was a girl child. The father abandoned the baby but she had a better life written for her as she was rescued in time.
An Army major who was a part of the rescue team came forward and adopted the baby girl. Some reports are suggesting that the Major’s brother took in the baby but she will now have a family. She will receive all the love, affection and care that she deserves. They have named the baby Abiha Waqas.

The Embassy of India in Armenia organises annual Festival of Indian films during which most popular and award-winning Indian movies of that year are screened in Armenia’s – Moscow Cinema.
This year the Embassy was offered a list of films and Mom, a drama thriller, was chosen to be screened among other two films including Bahubali 2: The Conclusion and Hindi Medium.
Directed by Ravi Udyawar, ‘Mom’ follows the story of a mother who avenges a crime committed against her step-daughter. Sridevi’s producer-husband – Boney Kapoor said that the film’s story resonates with the people across the globe. In a statement he said,
“We are so very proud about how the movie continues to connect with the audience all over, especially Russia and now Armenia. Mom exemplifies that strong performances and superior storytelling can win hearts and transcend boundaries,”
The film was also released in countries like the UK, US, Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
