In my house, there’s a clear rule: no personal gadgets before the age of 15. Yes, they have fixed screen time for YouTube, but not on a personal phone. Most parents don’t even know what their kids are doing online. Considering how algorithms work, anything can pop up at any time. Now, teenagers are being trapped in so many harmful situations because of these devices. Children are getting murdered, and parents are unaware of who came into the house and took their lives. She passed away while still a child—it’s truly heartbreaking. I’m not blaming anyone, but as parents, we must take responsibility.”

My role in the play is of an ordinary dehahti larka who inspires to be someone very influential.”

The drama serial will air on HUM soon. Hira Salman will also be seen playing a different role in the play.

Ahsan believes the this book is his first step in fulfilling a promise he made with himself to fight against child abuse after learning of prevalent it is in Pakistan. He hopes to bring a positive change in not only Pakistan but across the globe too.

He confessed that writing is not an easy job for him,

Writing in tough; Up until last year, the idea of writing a book wouldn’t even have crossed my mind. Udaari and my study of the crime changed all that. I felt that I had the moral responsibility, not to mention a burning desire, to write about a problem that affected me in the deepest possible manner. All of us need to work towards protecting our children from abuse. They deserve that. The book is a step that I am taking as a citizen to help eliminate child sexual abuse.

We wish Ahsan best of luck for the book and appreciate his efforts to bring a positive change in our world and help those who cannot raise their voice of the topic that is considered as a ‘taboo’ topic in our society.

Many Pakistani actors have crossed the border recently to widen their horizon. All these actors keep on stressing that art knows no boundaries. Ahsan Khan also revealed in a recent interview that he had been offered three Bollywood films. One of these films was delayed and he is busy finalizing everything for the second film. Talking about the script he said that it has some religious characteristics too. Ahsan Khan has also signed a drama which has been written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.

Ahsan Khan has been in the news a lot nowadays for helping a homeless man and he continues spending time with homeless people, feeding them and telling their stories.

Ahsan Khan is not only talented, but this time he is going to be tri-talented. The actor is gearing up to ace singing, acting and dancing all together in an upcoming Musical, titled Ishq, in London.

Ishq is based on the all time favourite folklore, Heer Ranjha, in which Ahsan Khan will be playing the lead. While talking to a local publication house, he said:.

“It’s a Sufi/Pakistani musical and it’s going to be mostly in English. The story is an adaptation of Heer Ranjha, the main reason being that the play is a celebration of 70 years of Pakistan and [hopes to spread] the Sufi message of love and peace.

“Basically we are promoting the lighter side of Islam, which is much, much needed these days. It’s the first time that Pakistani theatre is happening in London.”

The play will come along with three to four songs, in a backdrop of a village, in Punjabi to highlighten the Heer Ranjha affect. The Udaari famed actor further revealed the story line as:

“The legends of Heer Ranjha tells the story of a romance that created revolutionary uproar. An adaptation of that love story, Ishq combines classical and modern dance with a unique blend of poetry and fusion music.”

Ishq will be performed at Sadler’s Wells Theatre London from 7th-9th September .

Khan is born in London into a family of five siblings: an elder brother, two elder sisters and a twin brother, Yasir Khan. He’s the only one to have gone into acting from his family.

In an interview, Ahsan Khan shared how his twin brother gets angry when somebody approaches him and calls him Ahsan Khan.

On asking upon ‘does your twin brother ever pretend to be you?’ Ahsan replied, “Not at all, my twin brother does not like this attention at all. He is like a normal, casual guy who lives in London, he does not live here. You know how kids-people are over there they are a little more straightforward kind of people. People here are usually a little bit courteous. So whenever someone approaches him and says, ‘Oh, you are Ahsan Khan, what are you doing here?’ He reacts in a very bad way. He asks me, ‘what is with you? people keep on coming behind me’.”

Furthermore, he shared, “My brother is a little heavier than me. I am heavy too but he is a bit heavier. He is not in the field so he does not want to maintain. So people usually approach him and say, ‘you have gained a little weight, what has happened with you?’ So he really dislikes this but obviously he is my brother he is an amazing guy and plays along as well.”
