In show , Momal talked about the hard time they had to go through as a broken family . She said , ” In our childhood we only used to hear what people used to talk about our father and his second and third marriages”.

” Despite separation , our mother always kept us close to our father and his close relatives, oftentimes, people ruthlessly used to say to us that they haven’t heard our mother’s name , also that our father is married to someone else , our mother never told these things to us “, Momal kept on saying .

Momal further said , ” We were always taught to love our father’s family by our mother , she always kept us connected with our father’s family ,she was such a strong woman , she made us strong but now she has become a little emotional and sensitive ”

Momal’s mother burst into tears while listening about her sacrifices for her family.

Momal’s mother said , “I always did this for my self” , she started crying while saying this as well.

Momal said , ” she loved my father Javed Sheikh despite his affairs and marriages and even after divorce and I often ask her what kind of love is this ? ”

Momal said , “we never lived with father but when I was getting married , I asked him to come home, I said ,’come otherwise I am not going to marry’ ” . The whole narration by Momal made Sonya Hussyn teary as well , Sonya came and hugged Momal’s mother for a while.

With the release of her Bollywood debut, Happy Bhag Jayegi just around the corner, Momal Sheikh, in an interview with Dawn Images talked about her experience working across the border.

”I was very fortunate to sign up with a good team and fine actors. Many concepts were rather new to me since film is very different from television. The platform itself is a very challenging ground and makes you push yourself very hard.

I loved taking up the challenge and I’m excited to have had the opportunity to work with such sophisticated equipment and deliver to a much wider audience.”

Javed Sheikh is also a part of the film. ‘‘Yes, my father and I shot a couple of scenes together. He is my mentor, my counselor and obviously my critic as well. I knew he would guide me and judge my work honestly. I’m grateful that I had him by my side during my first Bollywood venture.”

About the character she is playing, ”I am playing the role of Abhay’s fiance, Zoya. An entrepreneur of a fashion house, Zoya is a strong-willed girl and holds her ground. She is confident and mature as is reflected in the way she eventually handles the odd situation she has to deal with. I don’t want to give away too much but I will tell you this: you will be surprised by a few twists in the story, especially when Zoya plays a vital part in deciding who Happy will eventually settle for.”

Momal Sheikh gave a shout-out to her stylist, Ankita. ”My stylist was Ankita, who worked with me throughout the movie and I must take this opportunity to thank her for her patience and professionalism.”

Nader said that according to him it was their baby’s luck that Momal was offered that film and he told her that. He pushed her to do the film and said that every child brings his luck and you have gotten the film due to their baby’s lucky arrival.

After Humaima Malick and Mahira Khan, Momal Sheikh is set to make her mark in Bollywood. The Pakistani actress will soon be seen in Tanu Weds Manu director Aanad L Rai’s next.

A source revealed that the makers of the film had discussed the script with renowned Pakistani actor and Momal’s father — Javed Sheikh when they were looking for a Pakistani actress to portray an “important” character in the upcoming film, reports Hindustan Times.

They instantly decided to cast Momal when they came to know about her.

“When Aanand and Mudassar Aziz (director) discussed the film’s script with Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh, who has acted in Bollywood films like Namastey London (2007) and Om Shanti Om (2007), they informed him that they were looking for a female actor for an important role in the movie,” the source said.

“When they came across Javed’s daughter, Momal, they offered her the film,” the source added.

One of the directors of the film, Aziz confirmed the reports saying, “When we met Javed saab, he didn’t mention Momal to us. It was a surprise to come across her during one of our meetings. We immediately decided to get her on board.”

Momal will star alongside Abhay Deol and Diana Penty.

Momal sheikh who is acting with Javed sheikh, Dianna Penty,Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill in an Indian film is making all the cast members happy at the set of “Happy bhag jayegi”

According to Ali fazal the cast member of film, it was Momal Sheikh who had a very positive energy and joked with all the cast members. According to the cast members she was like “mehfil ki jan.” She shared the culture and lifestyle of Pakistanis with the cast members, something which cast members were not familiar with.

Momal will surely turnout to be a successful heroine but thanks to her for projecting the positive image of Pakistani individuals across the border.
The father (Javed Sheikh) and daughter (Momal) Bollywood film “Happy Bhag Jayegi” will be released on 19th August.

Momal is a beautiful Pakistani actress turned producer. The very talented Momal Sheikh and Shahzad Sheikh were lately spotted in a show “Time Out With Ahsan Khan”.

In a recent show Shahzad Sheikh revealed that Momal made a lot of money during Covid time. “She has opened a business on Instagram. I have been sitting at home all the day during Covid, a whole year and she made as much money which I can’t make in a whole year.”

“Sometimes she was selling diapers, sometimes milk. She involved her son as well in this work and then she charged double for it. This is what Momal was doing during the Covid time”, added Shahzad Sheikh.

Momal Sheikh is the daughter of Javed Sheikh and sister to Shahzad Sheikh. Coming from a family of stars, Momal was able to establish herself as a bankable actress and she has been a part of many good projects that she chooses with conviction and style. She is married and a mother to two beautiful kids. Momal’s husband Nadir is very supportive of her career and he has stood by her throughout. Momal was a guest on FHM podcast and shared that she was the first one to fall in love and she even followed her husband abroad to pursue him. She added that she actually left her chance to go and meet Sahrukh Khan and so many Bollywood stars just for Nadir. It happened when her dad was shooting for the star-studded song Deewangi from Om Shanti Om.

She shared that she was going to London after Nadir when he father offered her to come to India and meet SRK but she decided to go after her own Shahrukh and went to London instead of meeting SRK.
