A lot went on in the year 2022 and as usual for Pakistan cricket and politics remained on top but it was great to see not one but three Pakistani films among Pakistanis top searches on Google!

Bollywood is known for its big film families who have been ruling the industry since the partition and their generations after generations have been leading actors and actresses of the films coming out of their cinema. Pakistan mostly has not followed the trajectory with most people diverting away from films after their parents were huge successes and later on the industry simply went down. But the biggest star of Pakistani cinema who has stood by films however in shambles the industry has been is Shaan Shahid and he belongs to a big film family.

Shaan’s father Riaz Shahid has been a big name of the industry in his times. He was a very successful producer and writer with films like Zarqa and Bahisht on his filmography. Shaan’s mother Neelo Begum is also one of the most successful actresses of Pakistani film industry. Shaan himself has done over 500 films and he is still ruling the cinema with his latest release Zarrar getting good feedback.

Shaan is a father to four daughters, one older and then triplets. His younger daughter Nooriya Shaan Shahid is also into acting and shared the impact of her father being a superstar on her.

The Manchalay Ka Sauda actor will soon going into the cancer treatment at Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital. Firdous Jamal’s son and actor Hamza Firdous took the news to his Instagram. He has also requested prayers from fans. Hamza Firdous also said that his father’s fans, colleagues, friends and sons are with him in this difficult hour.

Hamza Firdous wrote, “My father is going into a Cancer recovery treatment at Shaukat Khanum. Babrik Shah is an actor who made a name for himself in films and has been in news a lot at the peak of his career. He is the son of veteran actor Tariq Shah. He has not been working a lot these days but his family has a big name in the film industry. Babrik Shah just went through a very dark phase in his life. He lost his little four year old son after drowning in a pool. Though initial reports that came into the media were that little Zaviyar Shah lost his life after drowning in the water tank of the house.

Babrik Shah has talked to Neo News and shared that the news of drowning in the water tank are fake. He revealed that there is a nursery in front of his house where there was an illegal 9 feet water tank in front of his house in a nursery where his son drowned. The tank had no security measures.

He further revealed that he did not notice that the child has went out of the house. After 10 minutes when he went to check, he had drowned. He tried to do CPR and instantly took him to the hospital but the little one was no more. Babrik Shah has revealed that he has made the man close that water tank but he is not pressing any charges against him as this would not bring his son back.
