We all would’ve seen online English films but now Djuice Pakistan is going to release Pakistan’s very first online film. Djuice has stepped further into the world of digital communication and has come up with this interesting film called Oye Kuch Kar Guzar.

The Film starring Ali Safina, Uzair Jaswal, Ushna Shah, Mahjabeen Habib & Nayyar Ejaz will be releasing on 3rd December by Djuice Pakistan on their official YouTube account. The trailer of the film was released 2 days ago and it indeed looked quite promising.The Film is packed with romance,suspense and adventure!

HIP got in touch with the two handsome leads (Ali Safina and Uzair Jaswal) of the movie and found out what they think about this new initiative.

Uzair Jaswal revealed, “Oye! Kuch Kar Guzar revolves around the taboos of society and how you should follow your heart and do what you aspire to do. It’s linked to a youthful brand, djuice Pakistan. Youth is connected to the internet all the time, so it’s probably the best medium through which we can connect to a mass audience.”

“It’s the first online movie so let’s see how it goes. Despite the risk involved, it looks like a good investment and a step towards the future,” he further added.

Ali Safina had similar views about this new and exciting venture. “It’s a great opportunity! It’s going to be a global thing and will not just be releasing in selected cinemas, in just a number of countries. TV is going to be obsolete and YouTube is the future,” he told HIP

“Everyone needs to chill out and just connect to the internet. It’s a movie with an interactive medium. You have access to it on your very own cellphone, all you need is a good connection. ”

Revealing a little about the story, Ali Safina added, ” Oye! Kuch Kar Guzar revolves around my character Sherry who I can totally relate to. Sherry’s ambition to be a singer takes him to the most unforgettable journey of his life and his struggles are somewhat similar to my own. In him, I see how I was during my struggle phase”

There was a time when our Pakistani film Industry flourished like flowers in summers and then came the downfall. The downfall that lasted till a few years back when our film industry began its revival journey.

Chillar Force will be Pakistan’s first live-action superhero film for kids which will be another milestone for our film industry. Our film industry has started to explore all genres of films in the recent years and this is what was missing.

Auditions for the main cast consisting of five children was held all over the country and we are pleased to inform that a careful selection has been made of the leads. These five children will be trying to save Pakistan from different problems using their superhero abilities and skills in the film.

The audition took place between children of ages ranging from 8 to 12, and the selection on the basis of the 1 minute videos that they uploaded on YouTube. About ten thousand children ended up auditioning for the different roles in the film.

This film is being produced by Farhan Qaiser and is being formed under the banner of Persia film Productions. Along the children in the film, Ayesha Omar, Ahmed, Shafqat Cheema, Tipu, and Salim Miraj will also be working too.

The chosen children are given special dancing and acting classes. The part of the film that is to be shot in Karachi is under work these days, Balochistan and Punjab are the other provinces where other parts of the film will be shot at.

The budget of the film is roughly eight million which isn’t a lot. It is no surprise though as getting a good budget for a movie featuring children is quite tough. Farhan Qaiser is determined to complete the film despite all the obstacles and hardships that come in the way of the success of this project and we wish him all the best for this film!

The world is turning into a high-tech place where the imaginations of yesterday are becoming a reality of today. It was Hollywood initially that made the fiction look like a reality and gradually the trend was introduced in India too with Koi Mil Gaya, Kkrish, Robot and RaOne type of movies which were based on superhero idealogies and now it is Pakistan to catch up the race with its first Superhero Movie.

Been produced by Aamir Sajjad, Nation Awakes is the first superhero movie that enjoys a huge budget of 250 Million. Aamir  would also be seen in the movie with his acting skills. According to the producer:

 “The basic concept of the film is that it is not a normal superhero movie — we are trying to take a different route by exploring Pakistan’s current scenario,” 

The movie is said to be filmed in 12 different countries and would be a bilingual film, targeting English and Urdu as the real languages. As the movie revolves around technology, the characters of the movie are been developed using the latest technologies in US and  other countries.  Although nothing much has been revealed about the project yet, it has been disclosed that the music of the movie has been composed by Sahir Ali Bagga.

The director of the film, Umair Nasir Ali revealed that about 20% of the script is still incomplete and once done with it, the casting of the movie would be scheduled in April. The first teaser of the movie would be out by June as per schedule.

For fans of Sheheryaar Munawar, Syra Yusuf, Humayun Saeed and for anyone who enjoys a good superhero film, there’s good news: the makers of the film, Project Ghazi insist that this will be Pakistan’s first ever superhero film. Sheheryaar Munawar, Humayun Saeed and Syra Yusuf will be playing the lead roles. 40% of the film has been shot and it will hit the screens in 2017.

Nadir Shah, who mostly directs advertisements is the director of Project Ghazi which happens to be his first feature film. In conversation with Express Tribune, revealed, “It’s a story of an advanced soldier project and it spans over a period of 20 years.”

Ali Raza, the producer said,“Humayun and Sheheryar’s characters are equally balanced and compliment each other and they’re both playing superheroes.”

Adnan Jaffar is playing the antagonist while veteran actor Talat Hussain is also taking on an important role.

“You’ve never seen Saira like this before. Sheheryar has worked really hard and he has come out looking really good; like a young, modern super soldier.”

“We strongly believe in Pakistan and the revived cinema of Pakistan. The superhero genre is owned by Hollywood. They’re the ones who started this and they’re the ones we would like to land closest to, if not be exactly like them.”

“We want to do justice to the first Pakistani attempt. And I am sure Nadir will agree that while making this film, we faced many challenges because there’s no history of superhero movies in Pakistan. Hollywood films belonging to this genre have a track record of 80 years.”

A great deal of hard work went into the making of costumes. “We really had a great team. No one’s really done costume work like this in Pakistan before and we had to do everything from scratch. So it was difficult to design costumes in which actors could do stunts while being able to breathe normally.”

“First, we made designs. Then we made concept art and later found the right vendors. Then we had a team which tried out several versions before we actually got to a functional piece which not only looked good but was wearable as well.”

These people clearly know what they are doing – they shared that the actors had to undergo 3D scanning for the masks they’d be seen wearing in the movie which were created by a 3D printer. For a quality superhero film, the special effects have to be top-notch and the producer and director promise special effects of the highest standards.

“One thing that motivated us was that when we were travelling across Pakistan, we’d see superhero merchandise from all over the world but nothing from Pakistan. So it’s time. And I hope we can complete this project and present it to the audience in a grounded way.”

The producer hopes to make Pakistan proud by taking on a genre not explored before by Pakistani cinema.

Pakistan will be hosting it’s first ever awards honoring the extraordinary men of Pakistan. This will be taking place on a national scale, organized by popular body spray brand “Bold”. The Bold Men Awards is an initiative to celebrate men who make Pakistan proud, establishing the only platform to exclusively honour men. Especially those in the field of sports, comedy, news and other categories.

According to a press release, “The Bold Men Awards is an initiative to celebrate all men who make Pakistan proud.” The awards also aim to establish the only platform to exclusively honour men working in various fields.

Hasan Rizvi, CEO Bodybeat Events & PR, shared his thoughts. “I’m so proud to be involved in the conceptualisation of Pakistan’s first Men Awards,” he said, which was fine had he stopped there. But then he proceeded to say, “We have been recognising women a lot on media lately and while it is important to empower women, it is no excuse to ignore the rest half of population who are serving the country in various fields. Bold has taken a great initiative to show support for the talented men of our society.”

He continued, “Our brand represents men who make us proud and through these awards, we want to tell them how honored we feel that they represent Pakistan. Roadies is a highly popular Indian reality show known for its adventurous and competitive format. Reality shows are always taken open hands by the audience despite of the fact that from where these reality shows are been aired or who is participating in it. Pakistan’s ace javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has once again made Pakistan proud by winning the gold medal in the Paris Olympics 2024. It was a historic win for Pakistan. Total seven Pakistani players took part in the Paris Olympics and Arshad Nadeem managed to grab a gold medal in the final quest of the Javelin Throw in the Paris Olympics 2024. His throw was 92.97-metre long. His second highest was also 90 metre long. The ace Pakistani Javelin thrower launched a throw of 92.97-meter in his second attempt which was enough for him to secure a gold medal because no one launched this much long throw in all the rounds. India’s Neeraj Chopra secured second position and won silver medal and Grenada’s Anderson secured third position, he won the bronze medal.

Well, the whole nation was awake to see Arshad Nadeem winning the Gold medal and almost everybody was rooting for his win ahead of 14th August. Arshad Nadeem himself was happy after winning the medal and also shared his message with Pakistanis. He thanked Allah, his parents and Pakistanis for their prayers. Film-makers from China and Pakistan have announced that they will jointly produce a movie on international trade cooperation.

Director of the script writing committee of the China Television Artists Association, Wang Haiping said that the film will be named The Journey. It will showcase stories of Chinese businesses participating in the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

At the first Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) film festival held in Qingdao, Wang added,

“The intimate friendship of the people from the two countries will be highlighted in the film.”

Being the script writer, he said that the film will be based on real life stories.

Chinese and Pakistani parties will cooperate in script writing, shooting, post-production and screening of the movie. Filming is expected to begin in early 2019.

As a major cultural exchange activity following the recent SCO summit, the five-day film festival has attracted films produced in the past two years by 12 countries, including 23 vying for the film awards and 55 slated for screening. Getting nominated in Emmys is a big feat. No, not big – a huge feat! And this time, not one, but two Pakistan-born international actors have made it to the list of nominated.

Beginning with Riz Ahmed, he has been nominated as a Lead Actor in a Limited TV Series or TV Movie category for his performance in HBO’s The Night Of. Ahmed played the role of a college student, Nasir Khan who gets wrongfully accused of a murder. The Night Of has also received a nod for the Limited Series Category.

World Cup 2023 is taking place in India and yesterday Pakistan played with India in Ahmedabad. The city was going to be harsh towards Pakistanis due to their track record of Islamophobia, being a stronghold of BJP and that is what unfortunately happened. Pakistan and Indian are traditional rivals and whole world knows that. Whether its in sports ground or any other field of the world when the competitor is from our neighboring country the heat between the two spikes up naturally.

This strife runs in our bloods at some level it is count of how much patriotisms we have in our bloods. Since the tension between two countries is so high so from many years we haven’t seen India and Pakistan facing each other in cricket grounds unless until its an international tournament. People miss those passionate days of India vs Pakistan series.

Recently, the traditional nemesis Pakistan and India came across each other in a unique sort of competition. This competition was to register the name of winning country in Guinness World Records.

Muhammad Rashid was representing Pakistan and S.Navin Kumar was representing India. They both had to crack walnuts with their heads in a minute.

It was a nail biting match and eventually Muhammad Rashid making the nation proud won the match. He cracked 254 walnuts from his head in one minute whereas S.Navin Kumar cracked 239 walnuts.

Selahaddin Eyubi is an upcoming grand historical series co-produced by Pakistan and Turkey. The producers of the series include Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Dr. Kashif Ansari, Ahmet Faruk Bakacak, and Dr. Junaid Ali Shah. This period drama will feature the life of Muslim leader Sultan Selahaddin Eyubi. The series will air on TRT 1.

The recordings of the series have been started. The main lead character is being played by the Turkish actor Uğur Güneş who debuted with TRT’s famous Turkish series Ertugrul. The drama is being shot on the impressive set that replicates the ancient city of Damascus, covering 200-acre area. This set includes mosques, bazaars, palaces, and houses. The series has an extensive cast and crew.

The trade between Pakistan and Saidi Arabia will be increasing after the visit of Saudi crown prince to Pakistan and alongside that cultural exchange, will be increased between the two countries too. Saudi Arabia is going through a major image transformation in decades as women have been permitted to drive and cinemas are now open to the public again after years.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has announced that Pakistan will be playing a role in increasing arts in Saudi Arabia and we will also be exporting our dramas to the country. This is what he said during a press meet:

“We have well-reputed performing art academies in the country and as Saudi Arabia is focusing on establishing new academies for performing arts, we would want to extend the support of our artists including actors, film directors as well as calligraphers. e are also working on arranging Arabic dubbing of local TV dramas that will soon be exported to Saudi Arabia. In addition, we also expect Saudi Airlines to include Pakistani dramas as part of their in-flight entertainment content.”

There will be a cultural mela arranged in Saudi Arabia too for Pakistanis living there where they can come and enjoy different arts!

The Wagah border came into existence at the time of Pakistan’s Independence and partition. Pakistan became a new nation and Wagah, a small village found itself on the world map for its famous ceremonial border between India and Pakistan. It is also referred to as the Berlin wall of Asia and has an iconic, political, and historical importance. The most interesting thing about this border is the flag lowering ceremony that is held everyday at dusk. It attracts thousands of people from both sides of the border and foreigners as well.

Pakistan is set to hoist the eighth largest flag of the world at Wagah border as reported by a local news channel.

This flag is to be installed in the  in the park adjacent to the Wagah border  The dimensions of the flag would be 400 feet high and 120 feet wide.

This flag will play an essential role in boosting the spirits of the Pakistani that visit the border for the parade.India and Pakistan are known as arch rivals and Wagha is the place where the show of passion and power takes place from the side of the patriotic citizens of both the countries.

According to the PIA assistant director , the machinery is at work to remove the trees from the place where the flag is planned to be erected.

posted the happy news of her daughter’s arrival on Twitter on August 30. “Allah SWT has blessed me with a daughter Alhamdulillah,” she wrote.

T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 has started in the United States of America. Well, the group matches between the teams have already been started. Pakistan has played its match with the USA and lost it after delivering poor performance. Today, the match between the two important teams of Asia, India and Pakistan has been played. The crowd witnessed a thrilling match with a jam-packed stadium.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. In the first innings, India lost back-to-back wickets, losing 7 wickets in 15 overs with a score of 96 runs. India gave a target of 120 runs to Pakistan, which Pakistan could not complete in twenty overs. The Pakistan team lost the match by 6 runs. Pakistani players could not even chase a modest target of 120. Despite having wickets in hand, the team couldn’t reach the target, and India won comfortably. Pakistan is not going through a great time in any way and now we are getting struck by the loss of one athlete after the other. We have just lost a tennis player and a football player and now Pakistan has lost yet another young player and this was a huge tragedy due to the way it occurred. This time it was Judoka Fiza Sher Ali who passed away during an ongoing event.

Prime Minister’s Youth Talent Hunt is taking place nowadays where athletes are being hunted from all over the country. Fiza Sher Ali is a judoka from Peshawar. She was also taking part in the trials and sustained a head injury during the event. Fiza fell during the game and Rescue 1122 officials were there to aid her. She was also taken to the hospital but she succumbed to her injuries.

The Pakistan Judo Federation also mourned the loss of this youngster and the nation is sad as this is another loss of talent. The Youth Festival participants are also sad about this incident. May Allah grant Fiza Sher Ali a place in Jannah and may her loved ones find peace!
