Saroj Khan the leading Indian choreographer passed way yesterday.

Saroj Khan had choreographed many iconic songs whose dance steps are still followed.

In her career of over 40 years Saroj Khan choreographed more than 2000 songs.

Saroj Khan’s family migrated from NWFP to Mumbai during partition times. Saroj Khan got married to a dance choreographer B. Sohanlal at the age of 13 whereas her husband was 43 years old at that time. Later she got separated and re-married a Muslim businessman Sardar Roshan Khan in 1975. Together they have a daughter.

In an interview Saroj Khan shared how she converted to Islam. She said: “My original name was Saroj Kishanchand Sadhu Singh Nagpal, I met my husband, fell in love and we got married. I got converted to Islam not because of my husband’s love but because I love Islam.”

“I used to see kids praying which Hinduism was lagging. I myself went to Jammia Masjid and converted to Islam, they even asked my whether your are converting because of any pressure or free will”

Saba Faisal is a powerhouse of talent. She is a versatile actress and she is a true thespian who molds herself in every character that she plays. In the recent episode of G Sarkar Saba Faisal opened up about her struggles in the industry.

Saba shared that her journey in the industry was really tough. She said that she had artists like Saba, Samina, Rubina, and Shagufta in front of her. Saba said that she always used to think that she would never be able to attain any place in the industry. Saba Faisal shared that she always use to see that where her name comes in the end credits and it was always placed somewhere down, which was really disappointing for her. But she never said a word because she didn’t want to show her distress. And now her name is placed at the deserving position. Saba said that she has suffered a lot and with a lot of patience after which she has attained this place in the industry.

Saba Faisal is one of the most loved senior actresses in the drama industry. She is a part of all the big projects and her fans love her not just for her performances but how she carries herself in her personal life as well. She is a mother to three kids and she is also a mother-in-law. She recently married off her son Arslan Faisal in a lavish ceremony and brought home her daughter-in-law Nisha Talat.

She shared that she chose her daughter-in-law and how difficult it is for a mother to do it these days. The quality she wanted in her daughter-in-law was that she should be a person who listens to and obeys the elders at home and that is what she found in Nisha.

Saba Faisal in her latest interview with “Fuchsia Magazine” revealed the secret of managing her married life with work.

“I have sacrificed a lot for my work. I used to live like a queen in Lahore, but when I came to Karachi I used to live in a flat and I had to do everything on my own. The most important thing in a relationship is trust. I trusted my husband a lot and same from his side so the things became quite easy for me. You should respect each others opinions and advice to maintain a strong and happy relationship”, said Saba Faisal.

Saba Further mentioned that “Relationship is not about saying, you have to do a lot of effort. You have to make them realize about your presence”.

Advising to the male community about balancing relationship Saba said “Patience is the most important thing you should have in yourself but unfortunately the young generation does not understand this. You have to trust and tolerate each other. It’s not only the wife who should respect her husband, husband should also respect his wife because if there is no respect in a relationship then nothing is left behind. Whatever you listen about something you should end it there, there’s no need to clarify everything every time”.

Saba Faisal is a dynamic lady. She started her career as a program announcer and then she became a news anchor. She later on transitioned towards acting and she has not looked back since. Saba Faisal is also among a few senior stars who have a strong social media game. She is very active and she is always sharing new content with her fans.

Saba was a guest on Juggan’s Ramadan transmission and she was asked how she became famous on social media as she has far more followers than many of her contemporaries on Instagram. Saba said that people know what they are working on. They are familiar with the dramas or films that the celebrities are doing. What they actually want to see is a glimpse of their personal life and that is what Saba shows them.

She revealed that actors did not tag her in their pictures when she had less followers back in the day. She now does the opposite and always tags the newcomers to help them in their career.

She was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai and she shared something very important that artists often forget.

Rubina Ashraf was asked her thoughts on artists living a five star lifestyle while working and later on being destitute when they retire. Many artists who had great lifestyles were seen waiting for money when they became sick as they did not save anything during their careers. Rubina shared how she avoided that fate with good planning.

She shared that if she earns 100 rupees, she wants to spend only 25 but due to inflation it turns 50 but she saves the other 50. She has always been great at financial planning and she believes in saving for the rainy days. She shared that this has been her style since the very start of her career.
