Aamir Liaquat Hussain left this mortal world today. The news shocked everyone and public and celebrities alike flocked to the internet to react to the sad news. Aamir Liaquat has stated a few weeks ago that he is heartbroken and his caretaker has also said that he did not feel okay today. Aamir Liaquat started feeling unwell today after 10 a.m. and was taken to the hospital when he was unconscious.

The real cause of death has not been disclosed as of yet and reportedly a postmortem will be performed. But initially it has been established that he has died of natural causes. His caretaker has come forward with a statement. He has told the media that Aamir Liaquat was fine till about 10 a.m.
He also revealed that Aamir Liaquat was feeling unwell since last night. He was constantly saying that he will die. He talked betrayal of his ex-wife and planned to travel to Islamabad today. Aamir Liaquat’s family members were not with him when he died. The area’s shopkeepers called the ambulance to take him to the hospital.

In a very sad, shocking and an unbelievable incident today, Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain passed away. The host was found dead in his room. Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain was shifted to hospital in deceased condition. According to his servant, he was not feeling well last night but he refused to go to the hospital.
The 49 years old host was living his life alone in his home. The host and anchor was also dealing with a lot of social media scrutiny and other social pressures.
Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain was sad over the haters and trollers and those who didn’t render their help towards him. Often times, he hinted about his death too, he gave messages to friends and family to come over and meet him. He posted a last video message on his Instagram in which he conveyed his painful message to the people who used to criticize him and hate him.
The videos words gave a few meaningful messages to the people who hated him, he said, “The glorious haters, why are you jealous of me, you are jealous and yet you talk about me”. He said that why the people who are victorious & glorious are jealous of him, “not a guide neither a big name, why the people of glory, are jealous of me”, said Dr Aamir. According to police, the body of the deceased will be shifted to Jinnah Hospital or Civil Hospital for post-mortem after which the body will be handed to the immediate family.

A video is recently making rounds on social media which shows a braveheart driver Faisal rushing his oil tanker away from the city to save lives after his oil tanker caught fire at a petrol pump in Quetta city. Faisal drove the burning oil tanker which was laden with more than 44,000 liters of fuel, despite the flames all around for almost 2 kilometers.

The second last episode we had all been waiting for finally aired tonight. Jahangir, Mahir’s father, was definitely the star of the show in this episode. Mahir has fallen from grace, which is actually unfortunate because he was such a likable grey character. Hadiqa Kiyani translated the subtle changes in Mehru’s attitude superbly on screen. The way Mehru reacted to the information Babar had to share was quite contrary to my expectations but also in line with her character. However, this episode was not as happening and powerful as I was expecting it to be. The dialogues were well written and unlike the previous episode, this one focused completely on Mehru and Mahir. I was expecting Mehru’s character to come into its own eventually but that did not happen even tonight. Mahir and Narmeen’s mother continued giving the kind of advice and support which was disappointing, to say the least. The last scene of this episode did suggest that Mehru had made up her mind. Dobara has, for the most part, been an entertaining drama and some of the dialogues were meaningful as well. The overall content of the drama could have been slightly more meaningful given the subject matter and how it started.
Irreparable Damage
This episode opened with Narmeen’s mother teaching her how to make money out of her marriage with Mahir. While her mother cares about nothing but financial gain, Narmeen seems to be more sensible. She has questioned her mother more than once but is still going along with the plan. She is greedy but not greedy enough to be completely ignorant of her wrongdoings. She has not justified her actions even once but is not holding back when it comes to putting the plan into action. The scene covering Mahir and his mother showed that even though Mahir needed his mother’s support, he kept on reminding her about her own actions in the past. Also, the way she discusses Mehru’s age with Mahir suggests as if Mehru is 60! That’s probably how old she feels Mehru is compared to her son.
One of my favorite dialogues was the one covering Mehru’s state of mind and intention behind her welfare project. Even though Mehru’s journey has disappointed me in many ways but her kindness has always stood out. This was also such a good message put forward in a subtle and sweet manner. I have to admit that Hadiqa Kiyani’s portrayal has played a major role in making Mehru likable. The ways she carries herself and delivers her dialogues make all the difference. Adeela and Jahangir’s conversation in this episode was endearing as well. Adeela’s perspective toward life and everything else has changed for the better. There was a time when she used to be extremely insecure and bitter. Tonight, she asked Jahangir to not only meet Naheed but also forgive her. Like the main characters of this drama, this side track also shows how important it is for people to forget their past and move on with life. If people continue living in the past, they ruin their present experiences. Mahir and Mehru’s conversations in one of the previous episodes also centered on that.
Jahangir has more faith in Mehru than his son! He gave Mahir a reality check once again. The way he addressed Mahir with the utmost respect (until he tested his patience) without compromising on the basic essence and purpose of the conversation made this scene even more wholesome. Jahangir did not let Mahir blame his upbringing for the decision he was about to take. I couldn’t help but think that more than once Mahir has blamed his parents for his wrongdoings. It all made sense before but at this point, his failure to take responsibility for his actions came across as a lame excuse and not a logical reason. Shabbir Jan always makes such scenes an absolute treat to watch since he makes sure that Jahangir’s character comes across as honest and genuine. He is also always persuasive without raising his voice. He is another character that has come a long way! Jahangir and Naheed’s meeting ended with Naheed thinking about the impact of her words on her son.
Mahir and Mehru’s scene at Madiha’s dholki could have been far more subtle. While it is realistic for someone to pass such an ageist comment once, watching those girls go on and on about it and that too so loudly was not convincing at all. Mehru yet again chose to ignore and this time around Mahir did not tell them off either. If Mahir had heard someone say all this a few months back, he would have confronted them for sure. Mehru did not think much of Narmeen’s presence in the office but gradually she realized that Mahir did not feel the same way about her anymore.
Final Remarks
Bilal Abbas Khan and the writer Sarwat Nazir made us fall in love with Mahir’s character and now both of them have successfully managed to make the viewers fall out of love as well! Mahir’s character has been a disappointment in more ways than one, Mehru definitely deserves better. The preview of the last episode suggested that Mehru will let Mahir go without any protest; I hope that the drama ends in a meaningful manner. Right now, I am not rooting for Mahir and Mehru at all but I am definitely looking forward to Mahir paying for his thankless and selfish attitude. Mehru will obviously handle this with as much grace as she has handled everything else but she should not forgive him if he eventually comes back.

5. Nimra Bucha/Ms Marvel:
Nimra Bucha is also a part of Ms Marvel and up till now the only character we saw in the trailer. Nimra Bucha is already a trailblazer and has made the country proud yet again.
6. Ahad Raza Mir/Resident Evil:
Resident Evil is a superhit franchise based on Zombie Apocalypse. It has been made into a series for Netflix and none other than our very own Ahad Raza Mir will be seen in the project. The picture above is his first look from the series which will debut on Netflix on July 14 this year.
7. Asif Raza Mir/Gangs of London:
Asif Raza Mir has played Asif Afridi, a drug lord in season of this BAFTA winner series and he is all set o return to his role with a season. Good or bad, we are finally seeing Pakistanis playing Pakistani characters.
8. Sajal Aly/What’s Love Got To Do With It?:
Sajal Aly will be seen in Jemima Goldsmith’s What’s Love Got To Do With It? The film will be releasing in cinemas on 27th January 2022. This will be Sajal’s Hollywood debut who has already wowed fans with her talent in Pakistan and India.
9. Joyland:
Joyland, produced by Sarmad Khoosat, directed by Saima Sadiq and starring Alina Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Sania Saeed, Rasti Farooq and Ali Junejo among others not only became Pakistan’s first entry to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival but also got a10 min long standing ovation at its premiere and two awards including Jury Award, the second highest honour at Cannes besides Palme d’Or. Joyland did make Pakistan proud.
10. Arooj Aftab/Grammy:
Arooj Aftab made the nation proud as she became the first Pakistani ever to win a Grammy award. She also performed at the white house.
11. Aik Hai Nigar/Septimius Award:
Aik Hai Nigar, a film based on the life of Pakistan’s first female general, General Nigar Johar won the prestigious Septimius Award in Netherlands for Best Asian Film.
The year 2022 has indeed put Pakistan on the radar of International forums with our content and stars shining bright with their talent.

Yumna Zaidi and Merub Ali are famous for playing sisters in the recently aired popular drama, Sinf-e-Aahan. People loved their chemistry as on-screen siblings. Since then it seems their friendship has grown stronger and now both seem like best friends. Sinf-e-Aahan is Merub Ali’s first drama. Yumna has a lot of well-known dramas under her belt. She is considered as one of the most talented television actresses of recent generation. She has won several awards for playing diverse range of versatile characters. Some of her most famous drama serials include Aap Ki Kaneez, Ishq Zahe Naseeb, and Ishq-e-Laa.
Yumna and Merub recently did a photoshoot together for the clothing brand, Rang Rasiya. The duo did a shoot for their lastest Eid Collection’22, Muskan. They both seemed to have a good time while doing the shoot. A behind the scene footage shows them sharing a friendly banter, however people have criticized them for the language being used in the video and the manner in which the two were addressing each other. Yumna was also seen giving Merub an artificial flower in the video to which Merub says that maybe Yumna gave her the artificial flower because she thought Merub was fake. People also criticized Yumna’s weight gain and asked her to get a fitness trainer. People made comments on the way they spoke to each and how Yumna seemed to have gained weight and looked on the chubbier side.
