Hareem is doing her best possible to promote her movie and not only her movie but she is always urging the audiences to reach out to cinemas no matter what. No doubt she is the biggest cinema support at the time where there are few movies releasing in a year she always comes up with her production no matter how hard it takes her to be in the race. Sanam Jung has garnered a lot of appreciation for her acting skills and beautiful ethnic looks right from the beginning of her career as an actress. Sanam Jung started off as a VJ but later she appeared as a protagonist in Hum TV’s Dil e Muztar and that marked a brilliant start of her career. After that Sanam Jung worked in a lot of dramas that went popular with the audience. Sanam Jung then got married and hosted Hum TV’s morning show Jago Pakistan Jago. The story of Main Na Janoo is still in the initial stages and there is a lot more of revealing left to be done but I could not stop noticing how nicely dressed Sanam Jung is. Sanam Jung is playing the role of a subdued child who has always been treated unjustly at the hands of her father. Sanam Jung has given a perfect ethnic and rooted look to the character of Saira. She has mostly tied her hair loose and has relied on braids, which give her a very decent and well put-together look without showing too much of an effort. Sanam Jung has also kept her makeup minimal, which makes it easy to find her character real and relatable. However, Sanam Jung’s dressing has taken all the points and checked all the boxes. In Main Na Janoo, Sanam Jung has proved how simple of dresses can make one look absolutely stunning. Even though all of her shalwar kameez is simple and plain, it still works and looks beautiful. Sanam Jung has mostly gone for pastel shades and even for the darker colors, she has not relied on heavy prints. All of the shalwar kameez are pastel colored with complimenting laces. There is a little bit of self-embroidery on her shirts too which looks stunning. Sanam Jung has given a perfect look and styling to the character of Saira. At the moment Saira’s character is unmarried but we’ll have to see how her character will transition and look after her marriage happens.

Ohkay so, even though I am really happy with the ending that Meer Abru got, like it was a beautiful ending but I am still writing this review with a heavy heart. I so wish it hadn’t ended. It is like after ages we got to see a quality drama which had so much to offer. Meer Abru will remain one of my favorite dramas & I am definitely going to watch it again. I will congratulate the entire team of Meer Abru for the success of this drama & most importantly for making such a brilliant drama. If I had to describe the entire journey & drama of Meer Abru in one word, I’d simply say it was ‘perfect’ & yes, I am sad that this drama has ended.

So, now everyone from Murad family was adamant to get Meer & Abru married. Jamal thought they both had a great understanding & that they both were compatible with each other. It was interesting that all this while, it were only Saira & then Zaibi who knew that Meer loved Abru but the rest of the family members didn’t know. Jamal only suggested their marriage because he felt Meer would make a good husband to Abru, who was Saim’s widow. Jamal had seen the way Meer cared for Abru but he didn’t once feel that may be Meer was in love with her. Abru did reject the proposal but then it did weigh her heart down, she couldn’t really get over Meer. Yes, she was loyal to Saim but then Meer was always going to be her first love.
Maha came as a blessing for Abru. When she entered the picture before, she tried to ruin everything that Abru had but now, she was trying to do the damage control because she knew she was in the wrong. Haya & Waleed apologized to Abru & that was one emotional scene, especially when Waleed handed over his baby to Abru. It was beautiful how everyone slowly & steadily started seeing the good in Abru & they realized that she never wished ill for anyone, rather she herself was a victim of scheming & plotting. Just when Haya said that she was unforgivable, I couldn’t stop nodding my head but that is one thing I still stand by, she shouldn’t have gotten away so easily but then it is good that things wrapped up decently without much drama anyways.
Meer said yes to Maha’s proposal. At that point I did feel may be Saira was suggesting this to rekindle Abru’s feelings for Meer but she wasn’t the one who planned this. Saira eagerly wanted Meer to settle down & move on from the one-sided love that he had for Abru. I loved the way Sana called Meer immediately to confirm the news & then told him that she needed some time to convince Abru. That was the moment when Abru started feeling a little uneasy. That was the moment she recalled everything that both she & Meer had shared. Abru couldn’t take her mind off the things Meer had said to her, the way he confessed his love to her & the way he promised to be by her side. Abru knew it was too late & that was the first time she actually admitted that the news of Meer & Maha’s Nikkah made her lose hope.
Meer was struggling, he knew what was happening was wrong but then he also knew that this was the only way to prove himself yet again that he never wished ill or didn’t want to snatch Abru by planning or plotting. Meer just gave up trying & this is why he told Waleed that Abru hated him, therefore he stood no chance. It was nice to see Waleed being a voice of reason for once, I wish they had shown his transition in a detailed manner, like it was only shown that the birth of his son did bring some change in him but what actually opened his eyes was Maha’s confession. However, they should’ve shown him reflecting on his own a bit too, but then he did what was right, so it’s all good!
Then came the showdown, Zaibi once again tried to tarnish Abru’s reputation but she was hit with reality checks. The best two things that happened in that scene was Meer refusing to get married to Maha & then Abru speaking up for herself for the first time. I loved the fact that they just didn’t show that circumstances turned into Meer & Abru’s favor & without saying anything they were brought together. Meer’s refusal showed it to Abru that he just couldn’t do that & he couldn’t live without her. Abru speaking up to Zaibi was again much needed because it showed that Abru was done taking the blame for things she never was responsible for. Abru had to speak up & I am so glad she did. This is why I have always loved Abru’s character, even though things were not in her favor for the longest time but she never once was a bechari, rather she kept on dealing with everything by putting up a brave face. It was beautifully shown that because Abru never did anybody wrong, things slowly & steadily started shaping up in her favor. Abru’s journey was a perfect example of doing good & the good following you, this is what summed up her journey. Waleed & Maha did take the responsibility for putting up an act but then I am glad they weren’t the ones who overshadowed it, rather it was made clear that this time around, both Meer & Abru took charge of the situation. Zaibi got away with everything a bit too easily, like she wasn’t humiliated but it’s all well when it ends well but I so wanted Jamal Uncle to give her a piece of his mind at least once but chalo, may be he pitied her for being miserable.
So, finally came the proposal, it was beautiful how before saying anything, Meer remembered Saim & gave Abru his reference, it was like even though Saim was not a part of their lives anymore but he had never left. I can not begin to explain how beautiful everything was & how perfect their minute expressions were. By the way, I do sob a little every now & then while watching different dramas but with this one, I was bawling my eyes out & had to rely on tissues, it just showed me that I was soooo in love with all these characters. I even cried when Waleed told Zaibi to stop & she apologized to Abru, like everything was just so beautiful. Abru & Meer’s teary eyes was just too much to handle. I loveeeeeeed every bit of this drama & then the last episode & then the last scene!!!
Closing Thoughts – Will Always Be My Favorite:
Meer Abru was such a beautiful journey. I am falling short of words & don’t really know where to begin but I will try. Firstly the best best best thing about Meer Abru was the pace, all the episodes were so happening & always covered one chapter of their lives. I wish all our dramas take lead from Meer Abru, like now that it has ended, I didn’t want it to end, this is how good this drama was. I never once felt bored rather I found myself waiting for the episodes every week. The characters were brilliant too, every character had so much to offer & they all were such dynamic & complete personalities. All the characters contributed in making this drama a complete package. Also, both the generations shown in this drama were just brilliant & had unique personalities. Be it Jamal, Ghazanfar, Zaibi, Saira or Ahmad, they were always there for their children and guided them perfectly. I wish they had shown Ghazanfar apologizing to Saira for his rude behavior but then he had changed too after Saim’s death so it is all good. I guess they didn’t go too much into the detailing which was good but then I am asking for all these scenes because it would’ve guaranteed a few more episodes. I loved Ahmad’s character too, he was such a good father figure to Abru & to all of his daughters. I was just fuming after seeing Faraz’s character in Khaas last night so Ahmad’s fatherly figure came as a breath of fresh air. He was always there to guide his daughters but never once imposed his decisions on them. He made them strong enough to fight their battles & make their own decisions. I always enjoyed his conversations with Abru, where he’d always uplift Abru, it was very sweet,
Now coming to the younger lot, each & every one of them was just so special & perfect in their own way. Saim was such a beautiful character. Haya & Sana were like typical younger sisters where one of them was rebellious & the other one was wise & compassionate. Waleed was a spoiled brat but then he realized his mistakes & overcame his shortcomings after Saim’s death. Meer was always a difficult character but then he also had his calling & he was changed for the good. Abru’s love made Meer go through all sorts of emotions, he experienced hatred, jealousy, envy, anger, but then, he came to realize that one thing that always stayed constant was his love for her. Abru, I am sure I won’t be able to do justice to this character so I will just say that she was simply perfect. We never really get to see characters like these who are so strong-willed & just right, no matter what they do. I must say this was another beautiful dimension added to Abru’s character that because she raised her sisters like a mother figure, it was like she matured a bit too early after losing a mother. May be that’s why Abru’s character was shown to be this way where she knew she had to be a role model to her sisters, she had to be strong for them that is why she had trained herself to be just right all the time. I so wish they had shown Sana in the last scene too, like she was there for both Meer & Abru & she was the first one to know that Meer loved Abru so much, so I actually missed her presence in the last scene especially.
Mirza Zain Baig, Srha Asghar, Rabya Kulsoom, Saad Qureshi, Jia Ali and all the actors were simply brilliant in Meer Abru. Now coming to the show-stoppers of Meer Abru – Sanam Chaudhry & Noor Hassan, I am sure they are very proud of their outstanding & phenomenal performances. They should be because they poured their heart & soul in these characters & if it wasn’t for them, I am sure this drama would’ve never made this kind of impact. I must say Meer Abru has to be the best choice of Noor Hassan & Sanam Chaudhry’s careers so far & they were beyond perfect. The director of this drama Furqan Adam should be proud of himself too & I wish he gives us another brilliantly directed drama soon. I will also talk about the background scores they have used throughout the drama, they were different & they added so much emotion & feel to every single scene, be it the instrumental music, the OST or even the Alaap, I feel these background music also made me a bit too emotional because they were used just so aptly. Ah! I am so sad this drama is over, also I am upset that the last episode was durated for 34 minutes whereas usually the episodes are 38 minutes long. I so wish they had added those extra 4 minutes to show us Meer & Abru’s life after their marriage, some nice moments to make us feel warm & fuzzy, sigh! Ohkay so, this episode of Khaas was superb. It was intense, it was just perfectly executed. There are so many emotions and so many underlying thoughts of the characters which have been conveyed brilliantly. Khaas is actually living up to its name & is turning out to be quite Khaas. I will definitely take my words back & I will say that this drama is not aam anymore. I am really glad that the writer chose such a complex subject & wrote it in such a simple manner. The director Danish Nawaz has done wonders to the script of Sarwat Nazeer & this drama just keeps on getting better & better!
Saba Is All Alone:
Saba once again found herself in a deep pit. Ammar once again put her in a tight spot & made her look like a culprit in front of her father. Saba has not once said anything to anyone about Ammar, she has dealt with this entire baggage herself so far. Saba did speak to Ammar’s parents but that too was her desperate attempt to save this marriage. Saba has not even said anything but she is being constantly reminded by everyone around her that it is she who is wrong. It is her fault that she sees faults in Ammar. Saba didn’t even say a thing but her father was yet another reminder to her that she was all alone in this battle & that she will not find any support from anywhere whatsoever. Saba was once again told to put up with everything in the name of marriage & not only that, she was clearly told that she was wrong even if she was being slightly irritated with Ammar. Saba has actually understood that she is going to lose in an attempt of making people believe that Ammar was not as ideal as he has posed to be.
Salma has done what she came in contact with Ammar for. She has finally proposed because she has seen that he is not only unhappy, but he is there for her all the time. Salma knows that Ammar is the kind of person who will not back out, only to prove himself. Salma is divorced & she sees Ammar as a perfect “option” to settle down once again. Ammar has also welcomed Salma with open arms & he has made it obvious to her right from the beginning that his wife holds no importance in his life, that is why Salma got the edge & the courage to propose marriage to Ammar.
So, Nida was shattered & she tried yet again but was returned without a hope. Nida thought all that she found out was enough of a shock for her but she had no idea who the person it was that Fakhir was in love with. Nida tried really hard to make Fakhir love her but she failed. It is at times interesting to see similarities between Ammar & Nida, even though Nida is still naive & innocent but at times she does remind that she is Ammar’s sister after all. She can be just as rude or cold as him but still, she is nice. It is one of the strengths of this drama that the writer has added so many shades in all the characters, they all seem well-rounded & well-etched out.
Saba knows she has no one to talk to, that is why she once again relied on Fakhir. Fakhir is just being there for Saba, he listens to her, advises her & then, he lets her know that she is not wrong. This is the only thing Saba needs to hear at this moment to get going & to face everything that Ammar is putting her through. Saba just takes Fakhir as a friend & she has no idea that he has feelings for her but now Nida knows. So, Nida finally found out that Fakhir is in love with her sister in law & Ammar’s wife Saba. That scene was so intense, like right from the beginning when Nida steps in Fakhir’s home, that is where it all started at & it was done so so well, everything, every angle, even the background music was apt. I actually thought Nida will create a havoc but she stayed silent, may be she wants to know from Saba or she wants to inform Ammar. This thing will obviously turn against Saba. Nida will make an issue & she will support Ammar in his decision of marrying Salma because Nida will then say that if Ammar was cheating on Saba, so was Saba cheating on Ammar too.
Saba & Ammar had yet another fight & Ammar once again put her down. Saba is done getting belittled & even though she fights, it has been realistically shown that Ammar’s words keep on scarring her. So much so that Saba has slowly & steadily started to feel that may be what Ammar says about her could be right & there could a possibility behind her being mentally unstable. It is one of the best aspects of this drama where it is being shown that the words carry so much of value & they actually can scar you so much. Ammar’s demeaning words have not only hurt Saba but they have shattered her confidence, they have literally changed her entire personality but still, no one understands her ordeal.
Closing Thoughts – Brilliant Performances:
Overall, this episode of Khaas was brilliantly executed. I must say both Ali Rehman & Sanam Baloch were beyond brilliant in this episode especially. Sanam Baloch has definitely redeemed herself as an actor in this drama & this episode especially. The scene where Saba spoke to Fakhir while crying was brilliantly acted by Sanam Baloch. Ali Rehman is on a whole new level of comfort in Ammar’s character, I am sure no one else could’ve done this role better than Ali Rehman. It is good to see that Ali Rehman got to showcase his acting skills & he has done a wonderful job too. Haroon Shahid & Anam Gohar are doing a great job too. Even though Anam Gohar still seems a little awkward at times while delivering dialogues, it still goes with her innocent character. Hira Tareen has given a perfect treatment to Salma’s character. Sarah Khan posted one of her pictures from her upcoming drama “Sabaat” in which she looks different from her regular appearances on television. Sarah Khan is usually seen in traditional attire in dramas and she is most often seen playing the role of damsel in distress.
Well, looks like things are going to change in that department because according to her the character she will be playing in her upcoming project is anything but that. What caught people’s attention was Sarah Khan’s weight loss. One of the followers commented that she had lost a lot of weight and must be only 42 kg. (Adrianflux) Surprisingly enough, Sarah Khan actually replied to this saying that she had not lost any weight and she still weighed 60 kg. She also said that this was not a joke.
She did not stop there, Sarah Khan also explained that she looked thinner in this picture because people were so used to seeing her in loose kurtas but this was not her, this was the look she thought would be best for the character she was playing.
Some of the people also thought that the picture was edited especially from the waist. It is really bold of Sarah Khan to disclose her weight like that!

Pakistani actors are known for their powerful performances and versatility all around the globe. While giving interviews however, there are very few actors who are not calculated and even if some of these actors are spontaneous, their personalities and stances don’t always impress you. So, while someone can be a great actor on screen, their personalities may or may not impress the viewers when they are their actual self while giving interviews. There are some Pakistani actors who intentionally hold themselves back while giving interviews and then there are those who are not only eloquent but also inspiring. Their personal stories and their outlook on life makes their interviews so special that you can’t help watching them again and again.
I must add that the person who is taking the interview also has a big role to play. Asking relevant and intelligent questions and giving the guests the time and space to say whatever they want to, makes a huge difference. I love watching celebrity interviews, Haroon Rashid and Samina Peerzada are two of my favorite hosts since they genuinely want to know more about their guests and listen to them calmly, giving them the level of comfort they need in order to open up.
Imran Ashraf Redefines The Term “Hero”
Imran Ashraf has worked hard to get where he is today, he always comes across as an extremely grounded and honest person in all of his interviews. His statement regarding the definition of a hero and how he looked at his ‘work’ clearly is the reason why he managed to get this far. Whether you are in showbiz or you are doing any other work, the right approach can do wonders and through his statement Imran Ashraf proved just that. The honesty with which Imran Ashraf accepted the fact that he had been struggling for 10 years and the fame he was enjoying today was nothing short of a dream come true is also rare. Imran Ashraf surely has redefined the term ‘hero’ in more ways than one, not only by giving this statement in the interview he gave to Haroon Rashid but also by actually playing a character which in no way fit into the more accepted definition of a hero and winning everyone over completely.

Everything Imran Abbas said on Samina Peerzada’s show reintroduced me to an actor who I have been watching on screen for years. For the first time, Imran Abbas revealed who he truly was and I must say that every little detail about his life, his losses and the lessons he had learnt over the years completely changed Imran Abbas’ image in my mind. This was the kind of interview which truly was an eye-opener. Although, this entire interview is a must watch but one of my favorite parts was the one in which Imran Abbas talked about the constant struggle he faced in his daily life, what he wanted from life and how he could now see how superfluous this world was. Imran Abbas lost his sister to Cancer two years before he gave this interview and it seems like that tragic loss greatly influenced his thought process. His choice of words and the way he expressed himself was also another reason why this interview left a lasting impression.
Nadia Jamil Exposes Her Vulnerabilities & Strengths
Nadia Jamil is not just a great actress but she is an even greater human being. Anyone who follows her on twitter, would know what kind of an individual she is in real life but her interview with Samina Peerzada was hands down one of the most impactful interviews in recent times. She opened up so comfortably, there is/was never any fakeness about her and I especially loved the honesty with which she shared every little detail about her life. This entire interview is full of statements and stories which sadden and inspire you at the same time. Nadia Jamil is one of those very few celebrities who actually talked more about her own shortcomings and coping mechanisms than about other people or the society. Her positive and practical approach coupled with her strength, makes her not only a survivor but also a fighter.
I am sharing this entire interview here because I feel all of it is worth watching. The genuity with which Nadia Jamil shared all these details was the highlight of her interview. A mature, sensitive and loving soul – Nadia Jamil definitely deserves to be heard.
Hira Mani Choosing To Converse In Urdu
Pakistani celebrities have very often spoken English in interviews even when they were clearly not comfortable doing so. I have personally witnessed stars struggling to speak the language even when they had the choice to speak Urdu. There is also this general impression in our society that people who can converse in English are more polished and educated. Hira Mani is one of those few celebrities who openly admitted that she would much rather give the interview in Urdu because she wasn’t comfortable speaking English. Although, the host Haroon Rashid’s Urdu isn’t impressive and he himself prefers to ask questions in English but Hira very confidently told him that she wouldn’t even have come to his show if she didn’t have the option of answering these questions in Urdu. Choosing to opt for the language of preference and saying all this openly are two different things. I think Hira Mani set a really good precedent there which I hope will be followed by other celebrities who are more eloquent when they speak Urdu. Hira Mani also mentioned that she has no complexes and she learned to accept herself and show who she actually is to the world a long time back. I hope all those celebrities out there who are very often seen speaking wrong English in fake accents in interviews will follow suit.
Zara Noor Abbas Talks About Body Shaming
Zara Noor Abbas’ statements about body shaming and the honesty with which she expressed her true feelings regarding all those comments she got when she was overweight were a breath of fresh air. Hearing Zara Noor Abbas talked so confidently about an issue most actresses shy away from and most importantly her approach towards how the criticism affects the celebrities or people in general was right on point. Her perspective that using ways which were problematic or desperate was wrong. I especially liked what she said about not letting people determine what you choose to wear. The best part was when she admitted that when someone body shames you, it isn’t motivating but it hurts. Admitting that the criticism made her cry and it was difficult to handle it, is something which most celebrities would not admit publicly. This I believe people need to hear, body shaming is bad, it hurts people even those people who appear to be confident and are famous. Zara Noor Abbas’ take on body shaming was my favorite part of this interview.

Mental health is no joke but still celebrities are making ignorant comments about it.
Hocane sisters are famous for their work in industry and they have pretty good following on their social media accounts but recently, the Hocane sisters appeared on a morning show to launch their clothing brand, things were going pretty well until the host started talking about mental health and depression. Urwa and Mawra made ignorant statements about mental health.
‘We keep hearing people have depression or some mental disease and its all because of food, no other reason’- said Urwa
“It’s what you put in your body”, added Mawra, nodding in agreement.

Mawra defended her statement through her Instagram by posting a Google screenshot which says: “If you eat lots of processed meat, fried food, refined cereals, candies, pastries, and high fats products, you are more likely to be anxious and depressed.”
We can only hope our celebrities take charge of their mistakes because mental health is no joke!

Team of Paray Hat love didn’t show up in Aplus’s morning showThe paray hat love team refuses to come on Aplus morning show at the very last moment.
Farah Sadia, the anchor of the show seemed angry and sad over them refusing at the very last momemt. The paray hat love team didn’t even bother to inform the management of the team on which Farah had to randomly call guests and invite to safeguard her show time. It was really an unprofessional behavior of the actors that we didn’t expect from them because this is regarded as being un professional and embarrassing. We urge to the team to soon plan to visit the Aplus morning show ik nae subha to control the damage.
Firdous Jamal has been under the radar for stating his opinion and passing remarks on Mahira Khan lately. Firdous Jamal’s words did not sit well with Mahira Khan’s fans and supporters. Where a lot of celebrities came in support of Mahira Khan, Momina Duraid also went one step ahead and announced banning Firdous Jamal. Momina Duraid said she was ashamed that Firdous Jamal was a part of this fraternity and that she will not work with him again. Mahira Khan tackled this issue with maturity and shared a handwritten letter where she promoted love and positivity.
This entire fiasco started on Faysal Qureshi’s morning show Salam Zindagi which airs on ARY Zindagi. Faysal Qureshi was showing pictures of different actors and taking remarks of Firdous Jamal and Hamza Firdous. Where Firdous Jamal did say good things about others, he stated what he wanted to about Mahira Khan. According to Firdous Jamal, Mahira Khan was a mediocre actor and he said she was a model. Firdous Jamal also continued to say that Mahira Khan was overaged to play the role of a heroine. He stated that Mahira Khan should now go for older roles. Faysal Qureshi at that point did not say anything only due to his respect for Firdous Jamal but now he decided to share his perspective. Faysal Qureshi appeared in BOL Nights with Ahsan Khan and that is where he stated what he did not like about Firdous Jamal’s statement.
According to Faysal Qureshi, he did not like anything that Firdous Jamal said but because he was a guest on his show, he could not say anything to him to make him stop. Faysal Qureshi said that Firdous Jamal should not have commented on Mahira Khan’s age because that was wrong on so many levels. Ahsan Khan did however let Faysal Qureshi know that his response at that time didn’t suggest that he was not pleased to hear whatever Firdous Jamal was saying but in his defence, Faysal said he had to stay quiet out of respect.

Maya Ali has been giving teasers about the song Balma Bhagora on her Instagram account but now the video was released and people are not sure what to say. This video has been getting mixed responses. The song Balma Bhagora is sung by Aima Baig and it is only a promotional song of the movie.
Balma Bhagora has garnered 400K plus views on Youtube ever since its release 3 days ago. Balma Bhagora did get the attention that the team of Paray Hut Love was looking for but people are underwhelmed with everything that they got to see. The editing and special effects of the video are also being heavily criticised. Maya Ali happens to be the main dancer of the song but surprisingly, Zara Noor Abbas is getting all the love and not Maya Ali. Maya Ali has worn a revealing dress; a skimpy backless blouse and a lehanga with a slit, which is paired with long boots? Maya Ali has put in a lot of effort but she still hasn’t been able to wow the viewers because it is obvious that the entire focus was on her looks and dressing but not on the dance. Maya Ali has gone for grungy makeup look with wavy hair and the entire look is making her look like a hot mess. The song which is promoted as a dance number has so much going for it but the dance and choreography itself is the least impressive. A thing known as synchronization was unknown to all the dancers of this song and it is not an appeasing visual. Balma Bhagora seems like a cheap copy of any Bollywood song. Maya Ali clearly lacks that screen-presence, zest and energy.
Shehryar Munawwar is trying to brag his swag but it is still unclear what he is trying to do. Ahmad Ali Butt and Zara Noor Abbas happen to be the saving grace of this song because their screen presence, expressions and energy is on-point. Rachel Viccaji along with other members of the cast are also briefly seen in the video and the impact they have made is just like their screen-time – brief.
Maya Ali must not have thought that the song that she is going to be the face of, will get Zara Noor Abbas more love and appreciation for it. Viewers of the song can not stop comparing the two and unanimously, people are more pleased with the fact that Zara Noor Abbas is decently dressed and looks far more graceful than Maya Ali. People also can’t stop commenting on Maya Ali’s weight loss and the overall look.

These two episodes also covered more of the rishtas and family dynamics. Nain’s character and the way Zahid Ahmed has translated it on screen continues to be the only likable aspect of this drama. Nain took the lead throughout and once again proved that his physical disability was no match for his mental strength. He does not lose his grip over things and even when he is not in control he knows how to turn things around some way or the other. Saira’s character has been written well, it isn’t entirely clichéd but Sanam Jung’s dialogue delivery adds extra bechargi which is not needed at times. Sanam Jung has failed to highlight the strengths in her character. All this talk about rishtas for four weeks now has been monotonous but I am definitely more interested in the Nain/Saira track particularly because of Nain and Zahid Ahmed. Neehat on the other hand is a weaker character, which is why we didn’t see him pursuing his case the way Nain did.
Nain and Saira
Although Nain is receptive and intelligent but even then he failed to understand that Saira does not like him the way he does. This entire development however was shown quite convincingly. Saira has always been going to him with her problems, he has been in love with her for the longest time and now that he sensed Saira’s sadness, he thought that getting married to her and being her companion would be the best ‘solution’ to all her worries. Saira’s discussion with him about feeling worthless ended up making him think that she needed rescuing.
Nain is also very sure that he is quite capable of making Saira happy and obviously has no idea that Saira loves someone else. The only aspect of this entire development which wasn’t the least bit convincing was that Nain’s mother was never told that Neehat liked Saira and wanted to marry her. Saira on the other hand felt offended by the proposal and she felt that she lost the one friend she had. I also liked the way she told her father what she wanted and expected from him and everyone else. It is definitely good to see Saira voicing her true concerns every now and then but like I said, Sanam Jung has underplayed this character to the extreme. Even when Saira is shown taking a stand for herself and her mother she sounds extremely scared, this character should have been portrayed on screen with more confidence.
Neehat and Saira
Saira was eventually pressurized into saying that she did not like Neehat and was not interested in getting married to him. Neehat was shown trying to persuade his mother to let him meet Saira whereas Nain did so with a lot more confidence without thinking twice. I am thinking now that Affan Waheed’s look goes well with his character since he has been shown as an immature man who is hopelessly in love but is quite helpless.
Final Remarks & Preview
Nain has my undivided attention and I am hoping that Saira will not be turned into a bigger bechari. The character itself has potential and I do feel that Nain can prove to be a good husband if Saira gives him a chance. The dialogues covering the character assassination of Saira’s mother are just plain annoying and extremely repetitive. But I guess this impression will ultimately determine Saira’s destiny. The preview of the next episode showed Saira’s daadi catching her ‘red-handed’ and that would probably be the reason why she will be forced to marry Nain. I am waiting to hear Saira’s reply and wondering if Nain will figure out that Saira does not want to marry him. Zahid Ahmed is the star of the show and he makes this show worth watching otherwise everything else about this play is pretty average.

Recently, the mommy to be was seen celebrating baby shower of her coming child. She seemed super happy in pictures but who thought those pictures were leaked by her own people. Even her own sister Minal Khan posted a boomerang in her Instagram story, three hours ago.
Aiman khan bashes the media for spreading her pictures without her consent. She said in her Instagram story that it was a highly private function between my friends and family and I thank you all for invading my privacy. She further said that it was a good day for me that ended with a bad mood. She has been blatantly savage on invading her privacy which we can understand is a bad thing that happened.
She spoke about how she is badly hurt by this act and said,
“This was a very private event between me, my friends and family. Thankyou very much to whoever invaded my privacy and posted our pictures without my consent.”

Now that they have aired, the speculations are put to rest and the viewers can enjoy watching the awards. Arranging award function is a mammoth task and to coordinate and rehearse with all the celebrities is another added responsibility. Where the organizers did a great job, it was also the responsibility of the celebrities to do their homework as well. Lux Style Awards 2019 is now going to stay in the news for all those good and bad moments that will keep on getting noticed.
One such moment belonged to Uzma Khan. Ahmed Ali Butt and his Jawani Phir Nahi Ani co-star Uzma Khan graced the stage to announce the winners of Best TV Actress and Actor of Viewers Choice. Ahmed Ali Butt cracked some jokes and began their segment on a high note. They announced the award that Iqra Aziz won for Suno Chanda and the crowd was pleased with the way things were being carried out.
Ahmed Ali Butt is an experienced all-rounder who knows what he is doing but unfortunately, his on-stage partner was not attentive enough. Uzma Khan looked super pretty with dressed in a green gown with her hair on the loose and smokey makeup, however Uzma Khan had a blonde moment where, instead of announcing the next category and nominees of Best TV Actor Viewer’s Choice, she took Feroze Khan’s name before, without much thought. Uzma Khan spoiled the award not only for Feroze Khan but also for the audience. Ahmed Ali Butt however saved the day and made it light-hearted by cracking a joke or two about it and the audience couldn’t contain their laughter. Uzma Khan was called on stage to announce the nominees and then the winner but it looked like she had a brain fog and didn’t pay heed to how she was supposed to do the honors in a sequence.
Feroze Khan won the award for Best TV Actor Viewer’s Choice, but he also won the respect of the audience when he brought veteran actor Qavi Khan with him and dedicated his award to him. Qavi Khan was also one of the nominees for his role in drama serial Aangan (Ary Digital).
