Shaz Khan is playing a pilot in the much awaited film, Parwaaz Hai Junoon.

The actor reportedly has acrophobia that is fear of heights. However, he is working day and night to overcome his fear.

“Yaar, the only thing I had in mind was that it was a bad idea,” Khan laughs, while speaking to The Express Tribuneover the phone. “But then, I was like you gotta do what you gotta do in life. I dive towards my fears and try to overcome them because that helps you grow as an artist. ”

With the help of a co-pilot, Khan performed a close quarter dog fight with another Marchetti. These jets were last used in World War II so they are good for mission and formation exercises but don’t even come close to the capability and control of the F-16.

“The preparation process for this role was the same as any other role that I’ve done. In the end, you have to find the truth in the character. That is why I feel going up in the plane was important. This way, you are able to find a psychological relationship with the character.”

“I want to be able to hook into the character and actually feel the sensation,” he says, adding that the flight was going well until the co-pilot handed over the controls. “As soon as I got the controls, I started shivering, and as soon as I inverted the aircraft, I could feel the breakfast coming up in my throat. Man, I learned a lot!”

Shaz has been previously seen in Moor and Dobara Phir Se. The way he has tried to approach his character has helped him overcome acrophobia.

“I used to be really scared of even jumping off a ledge 20 feet above the water. Slowly and gradually, I did a few things that allowed me to get over it. This flying experience was obviously a huge step in getting over my fear and sky diving will be the last”

She started from the fact that she had really unhealthy eating habits and lead a sedentary life which lead to weight gain but after getting laughed at and bullied in school she made a conscious decision to lose weight and reach a point where she likes what she sees in the mirror. Her journey started from walking to the school and back which was a 35 minute walk. After that she cut sugar from her diet completely she stated she did that because she was a sugar addict chocolate, ice cream, milo, three teaspoons sugar in tea you name it. So she cut out all that sugar and replaced it with fruits.

She further added that she didn’t lose weight over night. It took six months to a year of maintaining her new healthy habits that did the trick. She also said that she replaced sugary juices that she so much loved with detox water. One of the things she said that made the most difference in her over all health was limiting her carb intake. In the end she added that when she started university she finally started working out that helped her the most. She made this video in order to help and inspire more people who struggle with weight issues.

It is nothing infamous, that Fawad Khan was purely loved in India but the growing conflicts between the countries brutally affected the ‘Art’. He rose to fame with some hit dramas and strong roles in the movies. And third reason, nobody should be that good looking! He just looks too good. You have to hate that guy.”

Two years back, Syed Muhammad Umar, a Quetta-based singer acknowledged his passion for music and following his dreams,  started making music.

This guy took music very seriously and before starting taking music as a profession, about five years back, had Ustaad Abdul Rauf at Alhamra Arts Council as his mentor to hone his skills. His passion, dedication and love for music took him all around the country to properly learn the craft.

Umar commented ,“Aaj Jannay ki zidd karo comes from the love I have for Pakistani/Eastern music and especially Farida Jee, who was one of the finest gems in the Industry”.

Firdous Jamal and Khalid Saleem Butt are two ace veteran actors of Pakistani media industry. Both have made their names through their top-notch acting skills and craft. They both can be rightly called the institutions of acting.

Recently, the two actors have come in Good Morning Pakistan along with their sons where they have revealed about their favorite actresses of modern times. On a question, “who would you want to work with, Mahira Khan, Ayesha Omar and Mehwish Hayat?”

Firdous Jamal said that you should ask from them first. He further revealed on the question that if these actresses would have been working in their times then all three of them are perfect to work with. Nida then asked to pick just one among all the three.
To her question, Firdous Jamal replied that if he has to pick one then it should be Mehwish Hayat.

Khalid Butt then said Mehwish Hayat is not only punctual but she respects a lot, Khalid Saleem Butt narrated a story of London Nahi Jaunga where he had scenes with Mehwish Hayat and she was on set at 7am sharp. He also chose Mehwish Hayat as her heroine.

Firdous Jamal also added that what he has heard about Mehwish is that she is chronic punctual and all an actor needs is a punctual co-actor.

It aired on PTV in 1982 which was written by Haseena Moin and directed by Shoaib Mansoor and Mohsin Ali.
