The story revolves around a group of high-school students who received rejection from every college they applied in. Bartleby Gains is a senior who has a gift of making fake IDs. After losing hope from different colleges, he creates a fake college, South Harmon Institute of Technology (SHIT). Gains, with his best friend, renovates an abandoned building into a college. Their fake college website enrolled hundreds of rejected students. Realizing that these people have nowhere else to go, he lets them believe that the school is real. He decides to let the students create their own curriculum this ranges from the culinary arts, sculpting, meditations, to unusual courses such as psychokinesis.

Abu Hurairah played Mohid in Meem Se Mohabbat. The child actor won everyone’s hearts with a strong performance and fans used to wait for his scenes in every episode. The child star is confident, talented and cute. He gave an interview to Faridoon Shahryar and shared his on-set experience from Meem Se Mohabbat and how he prepared for the role.
Abu Huraira revealed that he actually cried in the scene when Mohid finally speaks. He revealed that he put himself in that situation mentally and he knew that it was the most important scene of the show. Thus he cried for real and he is happy that he did such a good job with hs role.

Abu Huraira aka Mohid in Meem Se Mohabbat is gaining a lot of love from the audience these days. He was a guest on Fuchsia and shared his passion for acting, his good grades and how he is balancing both his studies and his creativity together. Abu Aleeha is right now the most successful film director of Pakistan. He has made several films like Taxali Gate, Super Punjabi and Javed Iqbal. He knows how to make a film on a small budget and his films have largely been financially successful. The director was a guest on The Wire podcast and spoke about the future and past of the film industry in Pakistan.
He spoke about the ban on Indian films and how it has affected the cinemas. He said that banning Indian films stopped footfalls from coming to cinemas which was a bad decision for our industry. He also shared that it is not actually the Pakistani government that banned Bollywood films but the other way around.
Abu Aleeha said that Indians stopped taking any distributors for Bollywood films in Pakistan and it is them who did not want to release any work here. He added that they banned Pakistani artists and talent from working in India and we just stopped releasing Bollywood films as a counter measure.
There are some characters that irritate you to death. I’m not talking about the actors, it in fact is their ability to act with such finesse that they make us hate the respective character and some who arouse same reaction due to their clumsiness, and they are not necessarily evil. Here is my list of annoying characters.
1. Maham (Shakk)
Maham and her husband (forgot his name) are top in my list. Woman like to gossip. Understandable. What on the earth is wrong with the husband?? The couple is annoying exactly the way their characters are sketched, they have acted very well that they made the viewers hate the characters.
2. Arham (Mujy Khuda pe Yaqeen hai)
With a similar bechara type role, same old clothes and style of acting is topped with annoying repetitive dialogues. Areeba coupled with Arham added fuel to my irritation with her powdery makeover and nude or pink lipsticks. Another annoying thing about the drama is the dull and awkward interior of Arham’s house. I had the guts to watch few episodes only so I do appreciate the people who are still watching it.
3. Zoya (Sitamgar)
Sitamgar aired on Hum tv last year. Sajjal Ali played the role of Zoya (for me it was Sajjal’s worst character up till now). Call me heartless or whatever I absolutely had no sympathies for the dying girl, I in fact wanted to throttle her myself each time she called Faisal Rehman “Zubi”.
4. Gaiti and Kiran (Rishte kuch Adhoray se)
First of all this drama is amongst the most irritating, disgusting and senseless dramas aired ever and coincidently it is also credited with two utterly annoying characters Gaiti and Kiran. They have me perplexed, cannot decide which sister is more annoying.
5. Samina (Mere Humrahi)
All the negativity, intolerance, pessimism and hatred towards all are personified in this character. She manages quite well to remain unhappy and makes sure other are too. Her expressions and gestures are always spot on, always complementing her dialogues and character, standing her character really requires patience.
6. Neelum (Numm)
Whether it is the character or the Kanza Wayne’s acting which makes her unbearable I’m not sure. Most of the annoyance is created by her inaudible, mispronounced and distorted words and on top of that her below average dialogue delivery as well. She certainly seems clueless, barely familiar with acting. The actress and the character both are equally annoying.
7. Bhari Sarkar (Aseer Zadi)
I wasn’t expecting Sania Saeed to choose such character, maybe she opted for it because of being different than her usual picks. The way she delivers her dialogues, her attire, her throaty and hoarse voice and the bright, inappropriate lipstick colors are the reasons that make her infuriating.

Absolut Manto was performed at the International Theatre and Music Festival of the National Academy of Performing Arts (Napa) on Sunday.
A production of Olomopolo Media from Lahore, director Kanwal Khoosat presented Karachiites with a glimpse of Manto, his life, his work and philosophy of tolerance, and several of his short stories were brought to life by actors Sania Saeed, Sarmad Khoosat, Feryal Ali Gauhar and Erfan Khoosat.
Saeed began the dramatic reading with Manto’s Yazid and her performance was brilliant.
There were some technica difficulties in the play. However, that did not affect the actor’s performance at all.
Erfan Khoosat’s rendition of Manto’s Toba Tek Singh was also done well. It is a popular story which was well-received by most in the audience
The Napa International Theatre and Music Festival will run till April 2 with different plays and musical performances as part of the offering.
Famous TV personality and PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain who passed away in Karachi on Thursday was laid at rest on Friday at the Abdullah Shah Ghazi graveyard in Karachi, after a long delay over an autopsy. Aamir Liaquat’s son Ahmed Aamir led the funereal prayers, which was attended by a large number of people, including showbiz stars, politicians, family and friends. According to Chippa welfare organization Aamir had already booked a grave in the graveyard of Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine, next to his parents grave.

The singer Abrar Ul Haq is extremely angry and he has given a long video statement on the matter. Upon a question, “There is an Indian Movie Jug Jug Jio, your song Nach Punjaban has been added into their film, what would you say?
The singer replied, “I was told by someone that my song has been stolen, I haven’t sold my song, I don’t even know about it, it is a theft, no one even asked and its my fourth or fifth song,copied by Bollywood, they make movies worth billions of rupees and astonishingly they don’t have their own content for those movies. I have hired lawyers’ team, it’s a digital world and it is the game of revenues and they still believe in copying, also, I could give song to them but they have sung it so bad, one puts effort in singing, they didn’t even do that, I don’t want to give my song this way, I will give away if I would want, I will ask my people”.
“Maybe I can give them on a single thing like showing solidarity with Kashmir. Bollywood has no content, no creativity, yes, they have good writers but they are failed in music. A good music piece like Billo changes life and stealing a song is a biggest crime”, he further added.

One of my sisters said, ‘Ya Allah we accepted your decision, now you forgive her’. Then I cried.

He said, ‘A Bollywood representative told me that another company was releasing Abrar Ul Haq’s song incorrectly, so they asked me to write that we needed to take the song back from that company. So I wrote and gave it to them. But that doesn’t give them the right to sell it. It is astonishing. They sold the entire film by building it around that song. It’s an injustice. I sued them, and the case is currently ongoing. It’s a fraudulent company, Moviebox. I think they are changing their name or may have already changed it. It is an open-and-shut case. Our straightforward question is: if I gave you anything through a written agreement, then please show it. In that case, the rights would be yours. Or show us the person who sold it to you.
